The fields were grey and lacking hue When down the spire pierced cleanly through From their steps, did color bloom Disguising their plans to seek and consume The sky soared blue as crisp as the sea Boundless and wild untamed save for thee The Elemenai came and gave us color With class and conscious, separate from one another

Out to the prairies wandered one filled with mirth Growing the flowers and tending to earth The woods grew tall and dark and deep Filled with all sorts that lurk and creep The rich soiled browns from his eyes fell as tears To the boughs and the bounty hide blossoming fears

Into the rivers swam another with glee Far from the others with fervor she’d flee Ice, skating with snowflakes crunching footfalls Blue with sorrow, and separation crawls Drenched with grey carried as a babe Required by none, save her who gave

The mountains were taken by lords of flame Within their hand the fire did tame Dancing lithe with hues of red and yellow Working hard with striking bellows Arid cracks and craggy land Beneath his feet would sunder to sand

Up to the clouds sprung one so swift Gliding amongst the sparse painted drift Copying their sister who sought the sea Taking from her the work done for free Commanding the wind to tickle their friends Over the mountains, rivers, and woods their reach extends

Of the tower too tall to crane their necks Winding and filled with corridors complex Waited ones uneager to wander Time soon will come, that is not wise to squander For the destruction they fled is coming to chase Against the darkness soon they will face Will once more they run, to shores fresh and new Failing to face as the shadows pursue
