The interesting thing to me is how symbolic the fact is that this submarine imploded in the same spot the Titanic sank. Both involved corporate greed and the wealthy thinking there was no way they could ever sink. Its funny how rich people always think they can get away with anything and that they're immortal. Quite literally, actually. The CEO called the Titan indestructible. Sound familiar? And yet they did sink and both are tragedies. Kind of poetic, in my opinion.

i, for one, absolutely adore how TWST makes all sorts of Yuu's to represent all sorts of people and players. in Heartslabyul, Yuu was a typical big hot sexy himbo protag. (don't get me wrong i loved him MWAH)

then they gave us a female Yuu (who was a fucking BADASS like girlie ATE fr fr) to fight off misogynists saying Yuu couldn't be a woman!

then, bless, they gave us a chubby Yuu!!! i hardly ever see representation for chubby protags in anime-esq things and it really fits with Azuls chapter, as the message will obviously be to love yourself as you are. (cheesy but a goodie always)

why is TWST my favorite game/fandom? things exactly like this. the creators are just magnificent and I, for one, am extremely excited to see what other Yuu's we'll get in future chapters!!

i remember when i was 7 i was on the playground and saw a praying mantis on the wall and got really excited and then suddenly some boy who was 9 or 10 put his foot up and stomped on it an i punched him square in the face as hard as my mighty little fists could and he ended up crying on the concrete. it went on my permanent record (which is otherwise flawless) and is the only reason i didn’t get into the middle school i wanted.

oh my god i found some really old fanfic i wrote back in middle school and I was so bad at writing but i WAS good at one thing. and it was banger lines. My personal favorites from the one I was reading were:

How am I supposed to explain to my children, to my grandchildren, that I lived during a time where there was an actual genocide that was openly slaughtering the innocent. And that so many people were protesting, and fighting, and speaking out against it. And our government didn't listen. We, the citizens, didn't have our voices heard when we spoke out. That our government was doing everything in their power to censor us. That so many children their own age never got to grow up.

How can I ever believe in my own country again after this? We genuinely live in a dystopian nightmare, and yet we all act like it's normal, like it's *fine.* This is terrifying, this world we live in. If this terror is how I feel all the way across the ocean, how do those people in Gaza feel? In Ukraine? In the Congo? Everywhere else that's facing these things?

Never stop talking about this. Let your voice be heard. MAKE it heard.
