To every pokemon character: Oh no! A trickster god has announced that it's going to change your species. It's far too powerful to stop it from doing this. However, it's allowing you to choose which species you're going to change to, with the caveat that Transform won't work when you use it. Which species do you change to, and why?
Myu: I think that braixens have such cute fur, and they're great spellcasters... My mother would have never wanted to hear it, though!
Atticus: I'm a fan of being soft and not doin' much, and that seems like stuff drampas do. And I like being a dragon, despite the everything else. Topaz'd like it.
Topaz: I wanna be a big scary monster!!
Clara: Tch. Well, if I must choose... I am not keen on being bothered, and so being a salamence is the easiest way to achieve that, as far as strangers should be concerned. All of the nearby villages were afraid of my father, and they were right to be.
Gamma: Kadabra. I chose that at random. Haha, why not, anyway? Not like I got many other ideas! At least they're good with psychic stuff and holding lots of tools.
Opal: I've always thought ice-types were beautiful, darling. As weavile, I think I would rather like holding onto the dark-type.
Matt: Ah... Perhaps I could be a dubwool t' fit in with the people in my old village better. Nothin' wrong with bein' a raichu, of course; in fact, I don't wish fer another life. But I respect dubwools very highly.
Caroline: I don't want to change. Nidoqueen.
Marie: Fighting-types are awesome, and I'm already good at punching, so I'll be even better.
Sandy: Oh, umm, I said before that I'd be like my character, Sapphire! She's a celebi, and she's pink, and she has healing powers.
Dr. Steele: I would certainly not mind becoming a tinkaton. The way they swing around those heavy hammers with ease is enviable.
Dr. Charkoal: I will become a mawile. So that I may show Dr. Steele was it is like to be bitten.

I'm seeing plenty of kissing and have to ask, has everyone put on their lip balm?
Dr. Steele: Provided everyone maintains a proper moisture barrier by remaining locked in position, they shouldn't need it!

dr. steele, what do YOU think of iris?
Dr. Steele: Ah, Iris. Well, she's quite mysterious, isn't she? And impressive too! It's not every day that someone manages to sneak into my home, after all. Even after months of visits from her in the lab, I know just as little about her as I did that night. Maybe we'll be able to find time for lunch after this little project is over?
Dr. Charkoal: ...

Things moved along pretty much like I expected they would once we got back from Detroit. The trip itself was an enigma to say the least. I…

hey absolutely wacky cast of characters! (that includes joy) what is your favourite pasta shape?
Myu: Umm... I don't know anything about this?
Atticus: I like macaroni! And cheese. But there's a lot of stuff you can put on macaroni and it's still good -- just think of the pastabilities.
Gamma: I think I could go for a good spaghetti noodle right about now. Topped with a ton of meat and sauce... aw, yeah...
Clara: Favorite shape of the thing? Is there really need for such distinction? It was my understanding that it was the dish itself that mattered in its flavor outcome.
Marie: I like buttered noodles with those swirly little noodles. I stuff 'em all in my mouth.
Sandy: I really like mac 'n cheese! My dad makes it special for me sometimes.
Roxanne: I like a good lasagna! Ooh, but you can't go wrong with linguine...
Steven: I think I like those long flat noodles, but I also like those tubed ones too. Penne, I think?
Dr. Steele: Meat-filled ravioli is divine, but no one ever went wrong with a delicious lasagna.

Pika, moderator of Ask TSSB, I believe you should remarry Woo. It would be epic 🤘
Dr. Steele: We're living in a lawless land right now, no gods no masters. I'll be sure to pass your message along and definitely not eat it.

dr. charkoal, what has your latest botanical work been like? nothing top secret, of course, but anything fun?
Dr. Charkoal: Oh yes. I'm not sure if this is what you have in mind, but I'm going to talk about it anyway. I've been experimenting with berry hybridization in my off time. There are some incredible variants you can't find fresh at even the most niche markets.
Dr. Phoenix: Have you considered that's because you're the only one who actually likes that Spelon-Liechi hybrid that'll melt your tongue?
Dr. Charkoal: Ah, that may be true, but it keeps my lunch safe from dragons who don't ask before eating.
Dr. Steele: But not from me!
Dr. Charkoal: Hmm, but not from you, this is true. I'll have to grow something more potent to deal with you, Audrey.
