clara do you wish you had visited your parents before you passed
Clara: ... Perhaps... although... it was simply not our way. Once the job of raising children was over, it was expected to part ways and move on. For both parties. Even so... I cannot myself bear the thought of not seeing Myu again...

Opal needs a good squishing, maybe that would help tone down her RAGING murder boner. SQUISH THAT CAT!!!!

7.17.458 - Dead Run
goodbye, Joy
(Clara's heavy footsteps shake the ground and Myu rolls into the ditch.)
Joy’s Mom: Forget the belt! We’ll take our chances!
(Myu and Joy exchange one last look with each other. Then the family is gone.)

Dragons can live a very long time right? Exactly how old is your father Clara?
Clara: He had already lived for a long time before I was born. He may finally be getting old now, if he still lives; he should probably be approaching four hundred years. I do get the sense he was hoping to sire a clutch of dragons, but that was never going to happen with a female mew partner. I do wonder...

Callaiaster people, if you’ve ever worn clothes, how was your experience?
Caroline: What's the point? Seems like all that fabric'd just get in the way. Only thing you might need is an accessory -- something that gives your magic a boost. I'm selling... if you're buying.
Marie: Yeah!! Clothes are dumb!
Matt: Seems like the only thing clothes are good fer in yer eyes are practical jokes... I've been all dressed up fer festivals and performances. Some folks like to wear clothes all the time!
Sandy: I have dresses for things like festivals! They're really fun to wear, and I like having cute bows!

Opal obsesses over Steven even though Steven barely knows she exists and Opal doesn't seem to truly understand or care about Steven's personality, wants, and hopes.
Opal, do you have a fetish for humans. Are you like a chaser but for humans. Why are you like this
Opal: Pathetic. Don't you think there are some holes in that accusation, considering Alexandria? Really, the whole thing doesn't hold water; I care about Steven's wants and hopes more than anyone else does.

Clara, I don’t think I’ve heard anyone say a good word about Malachi or Xander, but I assume you must have thought of them fondly at some point, so what did you initially find alluring about them?
Clara: It does not matter what I used to think. I have no kind words to say about them now. I was mistaken about their qualities and those days are long over.

Sandy, do you have a least favorite sound?
Sandy: Oh, I really don't like loud noises! When we were in the city, some people's cars would drive by too loud. Too many of them did that. I also don't like when Marie does something loud to surprise me.

Dr. Charkoal, if you haven’t heard already, when Cosmo was chasing Opal it experienced confusion at Opal’s wild shenanigans
Dr. Charkoal: Oh, how very proud I am of it! I hadn't yet tested its capability for complex emotions before it tragically died. The situation was frustrating, but yielded interesting results.

I actually took 3 hours to make this (couldn't do a proper angle considering this is the first digitigrade I've drawn). An Ice-type Opal (or atleast house I would interpret an ice-type purrloin without blatant plagiarism.)
...Don't put this under an orange color filter. That was a complete accident.
Opal: How darling! Imagine me, shooting beautiful ice crystals.

7.15.456 - Engine Startled
well? go ahead, start dismantling the engine
Joy: You do?
Myu: Yes. I… do. It… runs in the family. It's a mew thing. We just work on these… cars all day long. So I-I could just take a look for you. And fix it.
Joy’s Dad: Fix our… belt?
Myu: Y-yep! I can do that! Just wait here, and I’ll… do it!
(Myu moves out of view and looks under the hood. She pauses at the complexity of it.)
Myu: Ah… Hahh… Ohh… Oh stars, this is a lot more complicated than I thought. Maybe if I…

Dr. Steele, are Mawile necks the strongest necks? I can’t imagine it’s easy for a neck that thin to hold up a (proportionally) normal sized head and a ponytail made of metal and muscle that’s about the size of a mawile’s main body.
Dr. Steele: We are quite strong! We have to be in order to hold all of this wonderful, deadly weight. A mawile's neck can hold about four times our body weight on it -- this is so that we can use our jaws as a weapon! Compared to our size and weight, that is very strong when measured against other creatures.

Opal, how have you spent any time involved in theatre and still think you can murder all your problems away? All the plays I can think of in which a character decides to murder are tragedies, at least tragedies from the perspective of the person who murdered
Opal: Oh, that's easy, sweetie. Plays are not real life. Here in reality, there is no writer dictating a moral lesson for the audience to take away. My reality is what I make it.

if Atticus is 5 and as mature as Myu, who’s 20, how likely is it that Atticus will die of being old before Topaz becomes an adult?
Myu: D-do you really think it'll go by that fast?!
Mews do take a long time grow up, I guess...
Atticus: I hope not... Steven and Roxanne don't know how it's gonna play out for me. Dragons usually take a long time to grow up and then live a long time, but...
