Well-Earned Back Massage Headcanons

In honour of finishing my move back to Budapest. 3 trips with 2 big suitcases each, approximately 35 hours on train, and throwing out a lot of stuff where I filled all the bins in my Prague building's rubbish area twice. This is tmi about my life but this was really. Fucking. Hard. And no, I don't have a car, and no, I didn't want to spend the money asking friends to send me boxes of my things through the post as I did when I moved to Prague during COVID because that shit costs a lot of money. Much more than those train trips.

So then. How would some of my favourite characters help or not to relax and get some body massage after all this?

Kokushibou

+ He's an aftercare king so he would make a comfortable, warm bath for you to soak in

+ Afterwards, he'd oil up his hands and give you a full massage

+ He'd be checking on you for many days after until he's 1000% (that's one thousand, not a typo for one hundred) sure that you're feeling better after your workout

+ Bonus points because he would not let you move all that shit by yourself. He'd help you and for free. All right, not for free because he will want your company in return, but it's basically for free

+ Even if you don't exert yourself because he helps you move, he still gives you the princess treatment

Muzan

+ Yeah, good luck getting him to help you move. That's servants' work, not for the Demon King

+ He would message you regularly to make sure that you're all right

+ But be sure, that when you are bored sitting on the train, that mf will definitely be busy in his god damn lab and will not entertain you

+ He will give you a massage though

+ It would be one of those rough massages where it feels like he's breaking your back but you end up feeling really fucking good after

+ Bonus points if you're a demon and he actually can break your back and give you some extra blood to speed up the regeneration

Gyutaro

+ Will call you pathetic for asking for a massage from him

+ And he will laugh at you when he sees you coming back with the luggage

+ But he will at least help you get from the train station to your accommodation

+ All while laughing at how shameful you look, of course

+ Look, he really doesn't know how to massage. He'll ask Daki how to do it, and the two of them will end up arguing because Daki will say that he doesn't do it right, blah blah

+ You end up getting a massage from Daki

+ But Gyutaro will cuddle with you after and promise that he'll find the time to help you next time you have to move with luggage

Douma

+ He hires you a limo to travel, enough said

+ He will complain about his ass hurting on the limo ride (which is shorter than the train ride by a couple hours)

+ He will ask you for a massage because his ass hurts from sitting so much

+ But you won't complain, because it gives you an excuse to manhandle him

+ You two have a hot night ahead of you

+ Bonus points if your new neighbours complain about the noise Douma's moans are making

Tahomaru

+ Another example of he will hire a ride for you

+ But maybe he can't, and if he can't, he will take the time himself to go with you so it's easier

+ If he still can't do that, then he will be messaging you all the time to make sure you're all right

+ He will entertain you on the train

+ If he hires the ride to help you move, he won't stop talking and will give you a headache

+ He'll get you a lot of food and a warm bath to ease your muscles

+ He doesn't know how to massage, so he cuddles with you while Hyogo gives you a massage

Daigo Kagemitsu

+ He hires a van and comes in a limo

+ You don't even have furniture but he still orders the van

+ He tells you that you have too much stuff but he still stops somewhere on the limo ride to buy you more shit

+ He drinks sake in the limo and passes out

+ You end up chatting with the limo driver for something to do

+ He brings you to a spa and hires a professional masseuse for the both of you

+ He probably almost pulls his back out trying to give you a kinky massage in bed

+ You don't exert yourself at all and you get a spa weekend

+ Bonus points if he lets Tahomaru tag along and you get to go with them both

This was a bad idea, because now I will be fantasizing about going to the baths with this man

Saburota

+ He'd help you move but would complain

+ He'd be a messy eater on the train and would get you stared at

+ He's cheap af and won't let you guys take an uber with the luggage so you're walking or it's public transport

+ He will definitely try to ride without a ticket on the public transport

+ He complains that you're weak when you ask for a massage

+ But he'll give it to you anyway

+ He's really good and should be a professional

+ He'll tell you about how he gave his mother massages which is sweet but definitely ruins the mood

Hyakkimaru

+ He also helps you move

+ Very quiet, doesn't complain

+ He's surprised when you say you feel sore

+ He doesn't know how to massage and he probably doesn't even know what a massage is

+ He rubs his forehead against yours and says that you need warm soup

+ He later cuddles with you and asks you several times if you're ok

+ Bonus points if Dororo tries to give you a massage and accidentally makes it all worse 🤡

hey i just saw that dororo age swap and i absolutely loved it! i was wondering if ya got some headcannons?

BWAAAAH i was inactive on this account for so long SORRY FOR THE LATE REPLY Some age swap HC:

1. Hyakkimaru is more or less the same, a child that has never experienced the world via sensations and therefore struggles to deal with the world as it starts to suddenly open up to him. He has an even harder time doing so since he is also developmentally younger. 2. When Hyakkimaru gains his voice and his hearing, Dororo tries to get the kid to call him "aniki" but Hyakkimaru just goes along and calls him 'Dororo' anyway. He likes how it sounds and how it rolls of the tongue.

3. Despite his age, Dororo has never taken care of another kid before. He's had his own hands full just trying to keep himself alive and didn't trust others enough to band together with other orphaned kids to survive. He's almost at a complete loss and how to raise this murder baby that he starts following around but he just does what he thinks his mom would have done.

4. Dororo starts following Hyakkimaru around cuz he thinks he can make some money using this demon killing kid but becomes his full-time handler before he knows it.

Insecure S/O Headcanons

a/n: Here’s some apologetic headcanons. Thank you so much for sticking by me <3. Under the cut!

It was pretty easing being insecure with someone as enchantingly beautiful as Hyakkimaru

He was a skilled swordsman, he had the face of a God, and he was just a beautiful being overall

You weren’t really skilled with the sword, you could be clumsy at times, and you were sure that you could talk more than Dororo at times. It was embarrassing to you as you were very self-aware, but you couldn’t help it! You were just born that way. However, it didn’t mean that insecurity never came knocking at your door.

Wasn’t he tired of your antics yet? What if he found someone who had a much more beautiful soul than yours? Hyakkimaru didn’t need you in the end. He had Dororo after all.

Granted, Hyakkimaru would always kiss your lips and hug your body, you just couldn’t help but be worrisome over these things.

So, you decided to bring it up with him one night.

Everyone had gone to sleep except for you and Hyakkimaru. You were cuddled up to his warm side, his hot breath fanning across your forehead as he watched the shape of your thumb gently rub against his chest to comfort yourself.

You were trying to build the courage up to ask him what you needed to ask him.

“Hyakkimaru?”

“Hm?”

You bit your lip, and you asked him softly. “Do you love me?”

Without a moment of hesitation, Hyakkimaru answered you. “Yes.”

“Why? I…I just can’t fathom why you do sometimes. You’re amazing at what you do. You’re so skilled with the blade, and you’re so handsome. I’m just…clumsy, talkative, maybe a bit stupid at sometimes…and I’m definitely not that pretty. Why do you love me?”

Hyakkimaru would be surprised, honestly. Hyakkimaru didn’t really understand human feelings much, but he knew that what you were thinking was wrong. Yes, you were clumsy, but he enjoyed taking care of you. Yes, you were talkative, but Hyakkimaru could listen to you for hours. Yes, you could make some stupid decisions, but you were so clever overall. But Hyakkimaru couldn’t disagree with you more on your last thought that you had voiced.

Hyakkimaru tightened his hold on you and mumbled. “Your soul is what makes you pretty.”

Your face heated up, and you swallowed thickly. “I love you because I love you,” he whispered to you, his lips brushing against the skin of your temple. “I do not see your clumsiness or your talkativeness. I see you for you.”

Your eyes filled with tears, and you hugged him tightly, mumbling as you sniffled. “I love you for you too.”

Hyakkimaru smiled lightly before he would finally drift off, content that he could make you feel better.

hyakkimaru, despite leaving his father behind and coming to terms with his brother's hatred of him, still struggles with a great deal of rage. he has issues controlling his anger when provoked, a bit like when a dam breaks - he often goes on what seems like endless rampages, but can be stopped by those he cares about.

as an aside, he has abandonment issues as a result of what his father did to him. he gets scared that he's done the wrong thing or stepped out of line far too often and is sometimes sensitive to the slightest mood changes in those he's terrified of losing.

Another Dororo Headcanon

Dororo doesn’t like it when Hyakkimaru does something that reminds them of their mama (i.e. using his hands as a makeshift bowl for them, though I’m not sure if there were still rice porridge handouts going on at the time of their journey). They also become anxious when Hyakkimaru sings Mio’s song. Basically, Dororo is afraid that if Hyakkimaru does any of these things, that he will die, just like their mama and Mio. 

I got this idea from my own experiences dealing with anxiety, fearing that if I or someone else performed an action similar to a deceased loved one, that something bad would happen.

So I watched the last two episodes of Dororo. I thought it was pretty good myself. Little confused at first about grown up Dororo at the end, but let’s not get into that debate. Dororo is Dororo, and if you headcanon them as a trans boy or a girl or anything else is up to you and I won’t get in your way. 

Anyway I’m just gonna say it again: Jukai, Nui No Kata and Tahomaru didn’t die. ^^ They escaped the building safely and are now living happily as a family together. They all made mistakes, but are now on their way of building a better life for all of them. 

That’s what happened, people!

He can try to deny it, but anyone who knows Tahomaru knows he's a sensitive boy

+ He is easily soothed by blankets, fuzzy socks, and warm tea

More of the modern Brothers AU! There seems to be a trend going of the stage play slightly destroying me, and myself creating more fluff to counter it. “Yep, here they are in all their Divine Splendor: Ashina’s Mr. & Mrs. Smith – Tomoe & Takeru!Many speculations have been made on these two, especially on the beautiful lady, and in the absence of a DLC many more can be done. This is my small contribution. Among the many theories, I chose to embrace the one that sees these two characters as (tragic) lovers – ‘cause, after all, I’m a romantic one. It was really fun and challenging make their design. I worked with the idea that the two of them were exiles, fugitives – it’s my headcanon that Takeru was held captive by the corrupted Nobles. He manages to escape from the Fountainhead Palace with Tomoe (his personal guard)’s help, taking the Everblossom with him – and repairs in Ashina, eager to leave behind the Dragon Heritage’s curse and be able to start a new life among men.Why is he wearing a monk attire? In the beginning it was his desire to take the vows, dedicating himself to monastic life and prayer, isolated and hidden from the rest of the world on Mount Kogo. But realizing that even the monks weren’t immune to the seek of Immortality, he saw himself once again forced to flee – certainly not without difficultly. Finally he found refuge in Ashina Castle, host of Lord Isshin. In agreement with Tomoe, he decided to sever Immortality, welcoming the Okami warrior into his Oath as his herald.Although he has not taken his vows, Takeru has chosen to pursue the ascetic life, dazzling and behaving like a monk – even if some servants murmur that they have seen him in rather tender and very little monastic attitudes with Lady Tomoe, when left alone… especially at night – if you listen carefully, you'll be able to hear Isshin’s jealous growls in the background. Hence the moniker of “Lord Monk”. For Lady Tomoe’s design, I went back to the common Okami warriors of the Fountainhead Palace, making some little changes here and there. I tried to represent her as an alien beauty: skilful and ruthless warrior but at the same time an elegant, graceful and ethereal creature. A siren able to fascinate every man or woman – from the youngest to the oldest – at first sight.As Lord Isshin says: «[…] Tomoe… There aren’t many masters of the sword like her. To see her fight, it’s like she is dancing. When you look into her eyes… You feel as if you’re being drawn into the depths of the ocean. I was completely taken by her and it almost killed me… I’ve lived a long life, but that was the closest I’ve come to death.»I added a “fishy touch” to her design, encircling her waist with a red ribbon whose tails recall the flowing one of a double-tailed goldfish. As we know, Takeru and Tomoe’s mission turned out to be unsuccessful: he died while her destiny is nebulous. I agree with the line of thought that Takeru’s been killed by the Dragon Roth. It would explain Tomoe’s desperation very well, to the point of attempting the Purification Ritual (suicide) to save him. Truly tragic… and beautiful and perfect – I melt in a vale of tears.”
