Characters that get aggressive and snappy when sick or injured. No fevered pleas or soft spoken confessions - just misplaced frustration and cruel comments born out of pain and confusion.

Hi, could you write something about a Villain taking care of a Hero with pneumonia?
Hi Anon! Sure I can! Thanks for your patience while I got around to this, and for requesting it! Here you go!
“Come on, you need to take your medicine,” Villain coaxed.
Hero’s breaths came in short little gasps, a sheen of sweat coated their forehead, and their eyes were glassy and unfocused.
“You probably can’t even tell I’m here,” Villain sighed.
Without warning, Villain sat Hero up against the pillows, eliciting a heart-breaking whine from the incapacitated crime-fighter. Villain poured some medicine onto a spoon and pushed it past Hero’s lips.
“Mmmf?” Hero mumbled with a grimace.
“Swallow for me,” Villain said, “you can do it.”
Hero held the medicine in their mouth for a few moments, then eventually acquiesced and swallowed the bitter liquid. Villain let out a sigh of relief.
“I’m gonna take your temperature now,” Villain said, “hopefully the fever’s gone down some.”
Villain pulled out a thermometer and gently shoved it in Hero’s mouth. After a few moments, a loud beeping broke the silence. Villain pulled the thermometer out and their face fell as they read the number.
“Not much better,” they muttered, “I might need to take you to a hospital.”
Just the one word was enough to bring Hero back to some semblance of lucidity.
“N-no!” they said weakly, “no hospital!”
“Hero, I know you have a thing about hospitals,” Villain reasoned, “but this is serious. If your fever gets much higher, you’re not coming back from this.”
“You s-said you’d take care of me,” Hero pleaded, “please, Villain, no hospital.”
Villain looked at Hero’s pitiful expression. They groaned loudly.
“Alright,” Villain conceded, “but I swear, if your temperature goes up by so much as a decimal of a degree, I’m taking you to the hospital. No arguments. Deal?”
Hero sniffled and nodded. They suddenly lurched forward as they let out a string of wet coughs. Villain rubbed their back soothingly. Hero fell back against the pillows, blinking slowly as though their eyelids were made of lead. Villain adjusted Hero’s covers and left the room so they could rest.
Villain entered Hero’s room with a tray in hand. On the tray was a bowl of soup and a tall glass of water with a straw. The sound of whimpering made Villain practically run to Hero’s bedside. They set the tray down and caught sight of Hero tossing and turning in their sleep.
“N-no,” they mumbled.
Their fever-addled mind had conjured up some sort of nightmare, Villain guessed. Villain shook Hero a few times to wake them.
“Stop it!” Hero cried in their sleep.
“Hero, it’s me,” Villain said, “you’re alright. It’s just a dream.”
Hero’s eyes flew open, and they screamed, bolting upright in bed. Their wide eyes darted around the room until they fell on Villain. They hugged Villain as tight as their weakened state would allow.
“Shhh, you’re alright, you’re alright,” Villain soothed, carding a hand through Hero’s sweat-dampened hair.
“I-I- it was so real,” Hero muttered.
“I know,” Villain said softly, “it’s over now, okay? It’s all over.”
Villain adjusted the pillows and sat Hero up against them. They set the tray of food in Hero’s lap.
“I need you to eat,” Villain said, “you need fluids.”
Hero nodded. They tried to lift the spoon, but their hand was shaking, and their grip was so weak that it fell back down on the tray with a clatter.
“It’s okay,” Villain said quickly, seeing the tears form in Hero’s eyes, “let me.”
Villain quietly fed Hero small spoonfuls of the soup. Once or twice Hero reached for the water, so Villain held it steady for them to drink. Once the bowl was empty, Villain set the tray back on the nightstand.
“Thank you, Villain,” Hero said quietly.
The corner of Villain’s mouth curled up into a small smile.
“Of course, Hero,” they said.
It would be another week before Hero fully recovered, and Villain was there every step of the way.

Superior Subgenre: Race Satire by WOC
Here are my recommendations for satirical contemporary books by women of colour about racial fetishization and white neoliberals. Highly recommend these three books if you want to laugh, introspect, and marinate on how American society and institutions are being cooked by the culture war.

FEBUWHUMP 2023 DAY 11 - Fever
CW: disorientation, dub-con touch (non-sexual)
・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・
Whumpee stirred under the covers, irritated by the pressure against their mouth. They tried to let out a disgruntled moan, only for the object of annoyance to tip closer towards their teeth.
The glass gave a light click, approaching carefully, and let its contents flow down Whumpee's sore insides. Instantly, they felt themself relax; the cool taste of water washing away the sticky feeling coating every inch of them, that let them simmer in misery. They wanted to thank their benefactor, drinking down the last sip and putting all their energy into a detailed speech of gratitude.
"Mhh," came out instead.
Even though their struggle was only rewarded with a sharp stab of pain behind their eyes, they prepared another attempt. Whoever it was needed to know they were conscious, not only to ask for more, but to also figure out who came to their aid. The lights overhead were too dim to see, blurring out their sight indefinitely.
"Shh, don't exhaust yourself." A pleasant voice above interrupted all their efforts, accompanied by a hand now stroking Whumpee's sweaty strands of hair away from their forehead. They didn't seem to recognize their company, but pushed that thought aside to enjoy the refreshingly cold touch that soaked them with little drops of relief.
"You started burning up tonight, so please rest for the time being. I'll take care of everything."
Nonetheless, Whumpee tried to see, to recognize the person beside them. Fighting weakly against the soft weight of blankets piled on top of their body, the hand wandered further down their face, cupping around their cheeks to hold them still.
It took only seconds before the writhing stopped, and they laid breathless in the stranger's embrace once again. The soothing fingers slipped even lower to tuck them back in tightly.
"Whumpee, you have to sleep through this. You're safe with me, nothing can happen to you here!"
Whumpee wondered how they knew their name, but exhaustion quickly moved that concern aside.
The shapeless sounds continued to whisper sweet words through the space between them, letting Whumpee drift off again; lulled by the knowledge of being secure in their care.

Can you please write something where the whumpee had to take some medicine which made them pass out/fall asleep for many hours and when they wake up all dazed and confused on the verge of tears hyperventilating because they don't remember anything , caretaker arrives and soothes them and just fluff
I really really love your writing too!! Thanks
Hi Anon! Sure! Thank you for the kind words, and for requesting this! Sorry it took so long, but here you go!
Whumpee was floating. They felt like they were drifting in a black ocean, the waves rocking them back and forth. Whenever Whumpee would try to think of anything, the waves would gently pull them under until their mind became blank again. Whumpee was just returning to the surface of the water when their eyes fluttered open.
They looked around the room- their room, they were pretty sure. But they weren’t sure of anything else, like how they ended up in their room or why they weren’t in the ocean anymore. The uncertainty scared them, so much so that their breathing quickened, and tears formed in their eyes. Why were they here? What was going on?
The door to their room- again, only partially sure that the room was theirs- opened, revealing a familiar face.
“Hey,” Caretaker greeted, “finally awake? Oh, oh my gosh, sweetheart-”
Caretaker quickly made their way to Whumpee’s bedside.
“What’s wrong?” Caretaker asked softly.
“Where’s the ocean?” Whumpee asked tearfully, “why am I in my room? This is my room, right?”
“Yes it’s your room, of course it’s your room,” Caretaker said, running a hand up and down Whumpee’s back.
“But how did I get here!? Why is the ocean gone!?”
Whumpee was fully sobbing now, and their breathing was so quick they were hyperventilating.
“Shh, shh,” Caretaker soothed, “Whumpee, honey, it’s okay. The ocean, er… the ocean just had to leave, okay? You were in an accident, you went to the hospital, they treated you, and then they sent you home on bed rest. I’m taking care of you, but you’re on some weird meds that might make you feel funny. Please calm down, Whumpee, take a deep breath. Come on, like this-”
Caretaker took a deep breath in and waited for Whumpee to do the same. Whumpee took a deep, shaky breath. Caretaker exhaled, and Whumpee followed suit.
“Good job, a few more times, alright?”
Caretaker walked Whumpee through the breathing exercise, at which point Whumpee had calmed down a little. They weren’t hyperventilating anymore, and their sobs had reduced to the occasional hiccup.
“Good, very good,” Caretaker praised softly, “I knew you could do it. Can I sit with you?”
Whumpee nodded, sniffling. Caretaker smiled and climbed in bed with them. They held Whumpee close, careful to not jostle their still-healing injuries.
“There now,” they said, “let’s just sit a minute. I’m making lunch you know. Wanna guess what it is?”
Whumpee shrugged.
“It’s bacon sandwiches,” Caretaker said with a smile, “you love those.”
“F-for me?” Whumpee asked, eyes wide.
“Mhm,” Caretaker said, “just for you.”
Whumpee still felt disoriented, but the promise of lunch had taken their mind off of the black ocean. They snuggled into Caretaker’s chest, their worries melting away.
