On this Day in random cartoon history, the Funnies get internet access in 1999 (be afraid) while Mickey and Goofy start an 80 day journey around the world. Then in 2004, Ron gets rich in the most 2000s way possible (after double checking, this premiered on June 4th, so sorry about that) and Chowder starts eating things in his sleep in 2008. Mickey Mouse Works would win today, with Chowder getting close.

First of all they’re all gonna be nice about it. Chad would be a jerk about it but he’s not relevant here.

That being said, Harry and Jay WILL LAUGH. Until they see that you’re properly upset about it, and then it’s like someone flipped a switch.

Carlos, Doug and Ben will turn bright red.

Gil, my absolute angel of a boy, will not do any of that. He will quietly inform you that you bled through and then he will help you to hide it and escape whatever situation you’re in to go and handle it. ( Uma trained him well, as much as she tried with Harry, Gil learned it better)

Ben will do the same as Gil, but while blushing and he almost always has a jacket which will immediately be tied around your waist and no one will even notice that he took it off because he’s just that good.

All of the boys will get the situation under control and none of them will make you feel bad about it. Once you’ve managed to get changed, they will all reassure you that it’s alright, that you needn’t be embarrassed. They will all be perfectly sweet to you for the whole rest of your period. If you have any of these sweethearts then you are LUCKY!!

My Redneck Neighbor Doug Watches 'The Bad Batch Season 3' Trailer

Like all the other Star Wars geeks, Doug cut out of an important Zoom meeting with his work to watch the latest trailer of Daddy Warcrimes 'n Friends last week.

Cue ,y poor phone exploding as he commented on everything, and my director giving me weird looks--because the depity CEO was too busy watching it too and the actual CEO was busy playing video games on his phone. Yes, I work with adults with graduate degrees.

doug’s family is pretty cut and dry so i’m going to be theorizing for what the hell’s going on over here…

so what i THINK the lore is going to be is that roger and beebe had a kid together (as much as i don’t like that, the placement of the characters heavily implies this). However shortly after roger goes to prison for whatever reason. (i believe it was mentioned in an interview w/ billy west that roger goes to jail canonically, though it was a WHILE ago so that could’ve changed).

ANYWAYS, after that, beebe reconnects w/ skeeter & they end up getting married and having a kid (based on the actual show because they were ALWAYS intended to be a couple, in my eyes at least).

Roger gets out of jail & tries to get beebe to let him see his daughter, because he claims to be a changed man (I think it would be nice if he actually did become a better person, but i doubt that’ll actually happen). There’s an ongoing custody battle throughout the show, roger probably ends up getting visitation rights but who knows.

Now onto chalky, this is going to get MUCH more self indulgent because i really really want him to be relevant (plus i feel like he will, considering he’s in that promo art) and i feel like my doug following is aware of how much of a choker truther i am…but anyways, roger doesn’t have a place to live after he gets out of jail. At some point he runs into chalky and they get to talking, and chalky invites roger to stay with him until he can get back on his feet. i heavily doubt this will actually happen but perhaps a middle aged romance blossoms,..i may just be ill though.

either that or chalky was just thrown in there to fill space it could go either way honestly. OR he’s relevant in some other way but again i’m ill.

despite all of that i’m still excited to see that a revival is possible as this show means a lot to me, and whether or not it goes the way i envision it i’ll still be watching the fuck out of it.
