Whumpees that look fine
I've had this nice idea for a while now - usually, when a whumpee is sick or hurt their skin turns pale and clammy, their steps might falter, their eyes can become glassy and unfocused. And of course I adore that, who doesn't.
But what about a whumpee that's suffering but they look the same they usually do? They might complain about feeling sick or faint or tired, but others could just brush it off, since they look just fine - maybe even better than usual. They'd be suffering alone, trying to convince themselves that it's not that bad, they're just being emotional. Until they reach their limit, that is. And then everyone realizes that they screwed up. :D
Quite the potential for hurt with delayed comfort, as well as angst, if you ask me. (◕ᴗ◕✿)✨

Sorry, I had to...😔
Drew this based on one of Bryan's recent Instagram posts where he's wearing a shirt with Kieran Culkin(Wallace's actor) on it. (x)
Since he based Scott on himself, I immediately thought of Old Scott when i saw this lol

I hear you on brave but I think Mr. CEO man could be woz
Which I’m all here for tbh
anon you sent this over 9 hours before the reveal, h...HOW DID YOU KNOW
(I am also all here for it honestly) (I kind of hope they lean really hard into the overworked-CEO bit...how is he supposed to fight evil when there's all this paperwork that he has to get in by Friday, ugh)

every time i see "Ed asks Lucius to write down his lyrics" used as an argument for claiming that Ed can't write i just want to. you know. point out that Stede has Lucius write down everything he says?? and does?? all the time?? and when he can't find Lucius he asks Frenchie (who actually cannot write) to do it instead of just writing it himself. and we know Stede can write. it's got nothing to do with ability to write, just that the captains don't seem to want to write stuff themselves when they have an employee whose job is to do that exact thing for them

Something something the curtains are blue or whatever but underappreciated media analysis phenomenon is when someone else reads something you wrote and points out the blue curtains that you hadn't even noticed yourself hanging up while you built it. Like fuck they sure are I genuinely hadn't noticed I just flung em up I was concentrating on the carpet. Hey that shade of blue goes nice with the carpet huh. I should get more decor in that colour. Does this make sense to anyone

"hey mom... dead mom..."
Rae tried not to visit the memorial. He knew that if he went there, he'd start feeling the pain of losing her all over again, and he knew there were things he had to focus on. "I can grieve her once it's all over," He kept thinking. "I promised her I'd help her and I failed her. I can't fail anyone else."
And then he found his sibling standing by it, cursing it's very existence. "How could you do this, Rae?" Icarus had asked. "This isn't okay. She hurt me." They had said. Rae couldn't not hear the animosity in their voice against his mother, the hostility against them. He didn't blame them, but he also deserved a place to memorialize his parent. "She was my mother, Icarus." He had said. But to Icarus, that wasn't enough.
Icarus had attacked him there with a potion. Something that made him cough up sculk and sprout new horns and a tail. Something so vile that it made his body fight for it's life so hard it grew new bits.
He knew they didn't like it, knew when he made it that they wouldn't like it, and yet he deserved a place to keep her memories alive. She deserved it too, even if she had made bad decisions.
So, fearing that the spot would be blown up, like how the memorials of the bodies in the Endstone reset Strongholds had been, he started visiting it more. At first he'd try and see it from his windows, but that hadn't eased his mind. So instead he went closer, and closer. And eventually, one time, he decided to sit there.
And then he talked. "Hey mom..." He started with a simple greeting, "Well.. dead.. mom." It felt crazy, talking to an empty grave, a full ground instead of a hollow one, and yet... it was helping. "I wish you were still here..."
"I wish I could've been more of a son to you."

In reference to that one post b/c reblogs got turned off, I’ll be real with you guys, I actually do less research for my DP/DC fics compared to my non-crossover fics for either fandom. Not no research because I can’t help myself, but I realized a long time ago that 99% of this crossover fandom simply will not recognize or appreciate the work.
I’ve been in the DP fandom for a few years now, and I’ve been into DC stuff for even longer. So I know a lot of the characters fairly well (admittedly not all of them b/c there are a shit ton of dc characters), but when I write a DC fic I’ll read whole new comic runs to make sure the characterization is right, when I write a DC/DP crossover I just use whatever version of the character is funniest or fits the vibes best, even if it’s not fully accurate.
A DC fan will complain about mischaracterization while another lauds you on how well you characterized their fave (same character).
A DP fan will complain about made-up non-canon lore not being used.
A DP/DC fan will leave comments like “I love this fic, but I wish X character would have done this completely OOC thing because it would be funny lol”
I’ll defend myself to DP and DC fans but with crossover fans it’s usually not worth it. And they’re usually right. It would be funny.

Going into my big siblings room early in the morning the sun just barely starting to rise
I wake them up whining about having had an accident and begging for their help
They sigh and drag themselves out of their nice comfy bed
They know I’m old enough to clean myself up and just want them to touch me but they agree regardless leading me to the bathroom and undressing me
They begrudgingly clean me up and after some begging let me lay down in their bed with them
I of course cling to them and they try to ignore all the ways I rub myself up against them until I tire myself out enough to sleep

Slight NSFW mention
Sexuality
Is it asexuality if someone still enjoys (good) sex but doesn't like...care about who the sex is with. Like they do but they don't. Like I've never once seen a person and think "oh I want to do sexual things with them" because of them.
It's like I'll want to do specific sexual thing first and then in my mind shuffle through the few people(fictional or not) that I would not hate doing that with, flipping through them in my mind like trading cards.
Because it's always felt off using the ace label idk why but it's never felt right applied to me?? But It seems by definition not incorrect??
Help I don't what's going on or what am I

here's a neat vid, go watch it if you haven't yet
there's Some things that i don't completely agree with personally, like attributing the Third sin to Materialism rather than Connection (i'd argue that the Ancients had no big issue with being materialistic, considering their golden attires and such- and that going with Connection overall better addresses both the core of Materialism and relationships overall) and then attributing the word Dynasty specifically to asian cultures but that's more history/word definition beef more than anything djgklsjlcgjkd
oh how i'd love to have a debate with this guy about Ancients...
