Since he and Scott are confirmed to be meant to be seen as similar to one another #so much so that even their first and last names rhyme #last thing I'll add tho is that while Wallace and Lisa are very similar even personality wise #the one big difference is that despite that whole conclusion on vol4 of Scott not cheating on Ramona with Lisa because he loves her #the writers apparently think it would be “organically correct” for him to have an affair with wallace LMAO #but I guess we shouldn't be surprised since Wallace and Ramona are both in the front of the official valentines art which is clearly #a deptiction of Scotts wet dream or smth (oh and you could also argue that Wallace and Lisa parallel on that art since they're both #shirtless with white socks.. which could be a reference to how lisa wears skimpy clothes for Scott and Wallace often only wears boxers #to like sexually frustrate Scott for fun or smth

I was doing fanart of kokichi drawing/writing on the whiteboard he had. And i got to shuichi’s and i was trying to write the japanese version. And i was struggling there so i used google and it DOESN’T say "trustworthy?" I know google translate isn’t 100% accurate. BUT NEITHER IS THE DUBBED! WHAT DOES IT SAY?! (´༎ຶོρ༎ຶོ`)

The specific word on his whiteboard in Japanese is: 油断ならない

If you look up a translation for that you get these:

"Be vigilant"

"Don't let your guard down"

"One must be on one's guard with…"

"One cannot be too careful"

Also here's this translation image i usually use that has some other translations:

Its weird tho because, you don't get the same results if you look up the translation of "yudannaranai". Though, it always seems to be the case that you get better translations when translating from kanji rather than from the Roman lettering of Japanese terms.

(The NISA translators likely changed it to add sa*ouma propaganda...)

You know in Chapter two in the secound freetime event with Gonta. Gonta said kokichi was saying stuff that was hard to understand and that it was making him Sleepy. And that quote has never left my brain. Cause I really do wonder what they were doing in private in that classroom? Was Kokichi singing Gonta a lullaby or what?😭

Oh yeah, I love that scene too! I always saw it as Gonta getting sleepy because Kokichi's trying to explain his views on the killing game to him. Like that it's all fictional or something like that. (Similar to how he's implied to be trying to hint to Shuichi during his freetime events that they are being manipulated/shouldn't "pursue the truth" during trials)

Which of course just confuses Gonta since he barely even grasps concepts like technology/the internet.

I also think it's cute how Kokichi in the anthology is shown to also fall asleep during Gonta's lectures. Showing that they both feel mutually close enough to eachother to know the other won't be bothered if they aren't polite and focused all the time.

(Which is especially cute given that Gonta's whole thing is wanting to be a polite gentleman)
