ohhHHHh brother,,, is this another sketch dump after an undisclosed number of weeks of absence and online inactivity? yessir it sure is but i sure hope it won't stay that way 🤞 apologies again for disappearing, but im on break for the next couple of months for the summer so i have a lot planned and im hoping to catch up with... everything!

i put a little status update under the cut but feel free to skip that cuz its just me explaining some things ive had on my mind hoho 😙😙 happy 1st of june everyone!!!

a lot of things have been happening irl that im still getting used to, but thank you for always being very patient 🙇‍♀️ i apologise for disappearing again after i promised id start being more active again in... januARY??? man oh man the year is passing by tooooo fast holy smokes

i havent had much time to be on social media since then, but ive gotten some email notifs from ppl sending in such kind messages via inbox, and its really made me go AUGHHHHH in the midst of whatever im doing cuz it means the world to me 🥺❤️ if youre someone who's sent in something over the past year since i started hiatus in march 2023, IM REALLY SORRY AGAIN 😭😭 i always try to keep up with my policy of one-art-piece-per-ask, but because of that sometimes i just procrastinate a lot or get stuck on finding relevant things to draw as thanks. ive been brainstorming some ideas, though, and its my goal to get through a hefty sum of em before things get real busy again in a few months 😤

DFGDFDFGD okay so!!! i wanna start off with dont think too hard about it else ur brain will start to hurt (speaking from experience lmaoo) ANYWAYS!!! it's basically ingo gets sent to hisui but when ingo asks arceus to be sent home, arceus is like "dang bro sorry i didnt bring you here so it's not my problem but ya know what i actually need someone to babysit this fucker i damned, so you can just babysit him for all eternity! fair? :)" then doesnt wait for his answer

so we got ingo and volo stuck with each other, like it or not, there's rough patches, arceus didnt even bother to help ingo with him amnesia so he's still cloudy on parts of his past life and you know how it is to be around someone for too long, anger fighting ect but dont worry they begrudgingly come to an understanding and are now just vibing until time itself ends :)

well they're in modern day now, it's volo's turn to pick how they live their pretend mortal lives, so he picks unova to chill at cuz he's heard it's advanced since the last time they visited, ingo finally gets to have some memories as a treat as he catches sight of his old self and emmet, volo even convinces him to battle them so they can semi formally meet emmet and they carry on with this life, well volo's turn ends and ingo takes them somewhere else for his turn

cut to a few years later the duo is back in unova ( cuz it's volo's turn again ) when volo catches wind that one of the subway bosses had gone missing and the search was finally called off due to lack of leads after 2 long years, volo feels bad, just because god labled him a bad egg doesnt mean he is, he just wanted to reset the world to make it better :( so since it was maybe, kinda, totally his fault ingo got yeeted he decided he could fuck arceus over, i mean what's he gonna do? kill him? that's be a blessing. damn him to live forever? kinda already did that bestie,,,

so he gets emmet and elesa to come to his hotel room tries to find a way to tell them that he knows where their ingo is without making himself look crazy,,,,ends up looking crazy cuz his ingo just HAD to have a newpaper clipping of the trio claiming it to be "as close as a family photo as he'll ever have" emmet clocks him while elesa tries to call the cops cuz this nutcase is totally a stalker freak--then ingo comes home. skipping over the meltdown everyone has, and straight into project eeby-deeby rescue. we got angst, bonding, and finally a happy reunion.

meanwhile we got the emmet from when ingo first got put in hisui with no closure, no brother, and for some reason he's?? not?? aging?? so yeaahhh he's convinced he's in hell mostly when any pokemon he goes to for help basically tells him "sorry broski under strict rules from the big man himself not to help u with jackshit" so he's not doing so hot :) ( well until ingo and volo finally catch up to the era he's in then he's not doing so hot but with his brother now! )

that's a WHOLE lot but ive been thinking about this like all the time and im still working stuff out!!!! fgdfdgdfg this au is my baby and i love it

Ehhh, the relationship with me and how i feel about about HH is a long one, considering ive been following viv since her deviantart days lol. well i wasn't ever that much of a fan, mostly cuz ive never been too into that stretchy cartoonish artstyle she used to use for her comic "Zoophobia" buuuuut i had to hand it to her- she def managed to accomplish something a lot of us wish we could do with our world buildings huh? so ill give her that much lmao. but I'm gonna say that i haven't watched the show YET.

tho as far as controversies surrounding her uh... religion imagery goes- even as someone whos been brought up as a religious muslim- i don't really care tbh. you need to have a certain level of capacity for satire like this and if you don't, its really not for you //shrug. mostly to say you need to really know your own rights and wrongs to not be affected by a cartoon made by people who have their own beliefs yknow?

but as far as the story has gone so far in Helluva boss im not really.... ANYWAY- its fiction, and i don't have to like EVERY aspect of it, i don't think the writing is GREAT i don't think its AWFUL- currently I'm in a very big MEH area towards it lmao-

but i can say for certain that i absolutely LOVE the songs and adore them- especially thankful of having found one of my favorite artists eVER through HH- "SILVA HOUND"- there is almost no work that he has put up that i don't go crazy over- when the beat drops i feel my soul ascend yall don't understand 😭 <33333333

and well finally the art i guess? i like it, not bad, kinda tired seeing so many people trying to imitate it to a tee- i agree that imitation is the highest form of flattery lmao but it gets old when everyone's trying to be similar yknow? but character-design-wise, again, i feel like the character designs are amazing? but.... misplaced i guess.... we all know that these characters are vivzies old ocs, but lore wise- none of the characters look like what they are supposed to be... like we all know the issue with Beelzebub, sigh, that was weird for my eyes to behold as someone who remembers queen bee from zoophobia- and im not even sure if Vaggie is a moth anymore considering her uh... new backstory??? was she even a human at some point anymore? is Adam a human? are half of the heaven population wearing masks? why do they look like characters from monsters inc. that got a yassified by James Charles?? im... so confused lmao. why do angels have horns and hell sinners have wings?? looking at husker- skipping the Alastor controversies- yada yada yada- is Charlie supposed to be a goat when neither of her parents are- yeah okay im tired never mind.

short version: its interesting on the eyes, confusing to the brain XD

overall my final comment is: its fun as long as you don't take it religiously serious ;p

this ended up super long but i still wanna share cuz why not so uh putting it under a readmore. sorry in advance (its just some rambling abt an animation thingy im making)

actually though speaking of that animation i didnt even expect myself to like actually start it yesterday but i just.. kept making progress XD

probably had smthn to w me trying a completely different process from what ive normally done for like.. pretty much as long as i have been animating now that i think abt it

normally i just make them in chronological order which is Not a very good idea but i was always super intimidated by the idea of blocking things out beforehand for some reason so i always just drew things as i went along and hoped i remembered what my plan even was (never animated much long stuff so this wasnt too big of an issue for the most part which probably contributed to me sticking to that approach for so long) but with this one i kinda wanted to draw finalized stuff in an actual art program (for most of my life ive only ever animated on fucking. scratch. cuz i started doing map parts n stuff as a kid on there and now its kinda the only thing that makes sense to my brain.. more recently ive used ibispaints animation thing but really only for short loops.. i hate doing big stuff in strict frame by frame it drives me crazy) so i kinda avoided working on it for a while after i got the idea but yesterday on a whim i decided to open up turbowarp nd like super roughly sketch the Basic Idea of what i wanted it to be and then i started coding in the timing and i kept adding frames and now i have a nearly complete skeleton of the animation if that makes sense..

on the one hand it feels so cool cuz i have so much actually just. done. and the concept is much more solidified. ive made a lot of progress. but on the other hand.. my coding skills kinda suck and i skipped over two little segments cuz im still figuring out exactly what visuals i wanna have so now im worried my timing will get messed up when i add that in (i think the way i have it organized is okayish especially in comparison to what ive done in the past but it still isnt great) but then also.. i feel like it just wont turn out very good idk. like in all honesty this is one of the more ambitious animations ive tried doing in YEARS that ive actually made decent progress on but even then i still have so much left.. some of my sketched out stuff turned out weirdly really good nd im worried itll be lost when i actually draw things out properly and then on the flipside some of it is super jank in a way i cant totally tell of the frames just dont flow well or if i timed it out poorly (i dont use actual framerates its awful i just tweak the wait time between frames until it looks good) oh god okay this is getting stupidly long uh ill just cut this off here i dont really know what else to say now XD maybe ill actually go work on the damn thing

George had just landed it was really weird being in america, not being used to florida either made it harder. He was wating for Sapnap and luckly no one had been able to reconize him. He was scrolling through twitter seeng what people were posting. Mainly he found himself on the fanart tag a lot of it was wholesome stuff with the odd sexual esk drawing, he couldnt help but live for the art; the time it takes people is insane so he would look at it and admire. After about 10 min he got a dm from Sapnap saying he was in the parking garage and to meet him there so he did. he was nervous he had never met sapnap before but was super excited. After a short walk he made it and saw him. He was overflowing with joy and happiness. They ran to eachother and hugged instantly starting to film for the vlog. “guys im here with Sapnap and we decided to suprise dream!” stated George, Sapnap smiling and helping george wih his bags. with that they started the drive to the house.

CUTTING JASON TODD MIGHT KILL YOUNG JUSTICE

Im usually not one of those people-- but here we go: I really hope the YJ team saying Jason is just a hologram and nothing more is just a trick to make his reveal a surprise. Because if it's not-- they have made a really stupid business move. Let me explain: now of what i know of animation and being a beginning animation/game design student, animation is fucking hard, there is no way i would put something like that into any sort of work I did if I just wanted it there to look nice as a prop. Jason Todd is a character a lot of people know and recognize. And they know him as the Red Hood as well. References to his Robin days are always followed by thoughts of his ressurection-- because as we all know his death was not permanent. He is a very popular character, popular enough to get a DLC spot in Injustice, popular enough to get a storyline revolving around him in Gotham Knight. Popular enough to get a knew kotobukaiya statue( i saw it at comic con). DC apparently LOVES making money off of him, and comics with him are popular enough that they keep making them. A LOT of people, were looking forward to seeing Jason as an active; even if he was not a main, part of an ongoing story or series. They had seemed to drop such a large hint in front of us in season 2. But if thats all it was? I think that the YJ staff, while im sure are eager to continue their story, have made a really big mistake. I myself may still watch the show-- but my excitement for it has been pretty much shot because a character I and many others would really like to see expanded on and represented in actual popular media has once again--been skipped over. They mentioned wanting to give more obscure villains a chance to shine-- which was why they had Sportsmaster. So if they want to go out of their way to research and invest in other villains that have thus far DONE WELL IN THE STORY-- Why-- why why why does DC KEEP skipping over Jason? I dont understand. They want to include more adult themes and perspectives now that the show will be on Netflix. Netflix who just released a VERY adult show in Castlevania, that did so well that it was renewed for a second season the FIRST DAY IT WAS RELEASED. Jason Todd's story is a pretty adult theme on its own, for people who already know it. So these are perfect conditions to introduce him. I was at comic con-- I saw SEVERAL Red Hood cosplayers. Not a single comic themed art booth was without a Jason Todd/Red Hood poster in their inventory. And I know-- because I went to all of them. And even bought a few myself. He is a popular character-- He SELLS. Consumers WANT HIM and DC stands to make a lot of money off of him. So if theyre really just not intending to include him as a character in DC's next big animation project, theyre really stupid. The creators mentioned wanting to do a season 4 and 5 as well-- I can gaurantee if they cut all hints of jason from the cast for season 3 they are not gonna get that far. From a business standpoint, with how many people are interested in the Red Hood's story, as well as the number of people who rewatched young justice and helped get it renewed on the hope that his story would be expanded upon.... A lot of fans might end up dropping the series all together. I dont mean for them to give the fans Jason Todd as a way of pandering to them-- but the thing is, if they had just intended to skip over Jason in the first place, they should not have included his hologram at all. And done what the Batman Animated series did, which was write him out completely and pose Tim as the second Robin on his own. People would have been angry sure. But it's been done before and as a really big Jason Todd fan myself, I would have understood that move a lot more than teasing the fans with a character you KNOW they are eager for and then pulling the rug out from under them. Just saying from what Ive noticed-- I really hope ya'll at DC and the YJ director offices are kidding, cuz if not-- your managing to renew YJ for a season 3 is gonna be just as pointless as your hologram hint.
