There’s this fic I read not that long ago with thief!lwj and assassin!wwx and they were living their best domestic life together while also not knowing about the other’s occupation until lwj was kidnapped by the wens for stealing from them and then wwx went to bust him out. 12. Hii i dont know how to use tumbler properly so i decided to ask here. I am looking for two wangxian fanfcis.

A) The first one begins with wei ying and lan zhan's death - mo xuanyu's core is not strong enough to help wei ying reach immortality just prolongs his life. lan zhan decided he does not want immmortality if wei ying is not with him so lan zhan shares/sustains wei ying and himself with his golden core until he runs out of energy and they die toghether in the jingshi. However, next thing you know they are in the past. That is all i can remember

on the first one. I read it on ao3.

B) The second one i don't remember much - just that there is a part in the fanfic where wei ying finds out about lan zhans scars and how he got them. They end up in the cold spring/cold pond and wei ying somehow heals all of lan zhans scars using energy? while there. Not sure if it is spiritual or resentfull? After i know Lan zhan ends up in front of the gusu lan elders i don't remember why ther find out that wei ying has cured him/healed his back scars because they are gone - his back is smooth again and wei ying appears in front of the elders to threaten them no to hurt lan zhan. I am not sure how long is the fanfic but i know it doesnt revolve around this particular thing. Also read this one on ao3.

- I think it's something about time travel fix it

-The Jiang Family + Wei Wuxian talking about Jiang Cheng and Jin Ling's weird naming of dogs and then they said something about Sect Leader Jiang naming the Sword suibian. Someone in the group said it runs in the family to which Jiang Cheng refuted it by saying his name and Yanli's name were good names. Madam Yu just laughed and said that it was her who named them and not Jiang Fengmian.

14. Hi, the fic i am looking for takes place post-canon. I think the focus point was A-Yuan trying to find out more about his past and coming to terms with his wen family and how they were treated by the other clans.

There is a scene where he sits on a roof with Jin Ling and they drink together. LSH talks about having problems with forgiving people he loves and JL gives him advice? I think they also apologize to each other and JL tells him to talk to Jiang Cheng.

Pretty sure I read it on AO3. The scene is just really stuck in my head and I would love to reread the fic bc I love A-Yuan trying to navigate the impact of all those relegation at the end of Canon have on his life. @fangirl-oracle

16. Sorry to Bother, but can you find a fic for me? All I remember from the story is LWJ and WWX live in Gusu. One day LWJ goes to teach and WWX talks to A-Yuan and Jingyi. WWX told them he wanted to demonstrate his latest innovation, but before he could do so LWJ came with a letter from JC. The letter says that JC asked WWX for help to investigate "something". Then it was discovered that there was a man who practiced demonic cultivation and there was "something" that supported him. I have a page for my worldbuilding projects that’s a huge WIP, but in the mean time, here’s a list of the ones I can remember off the top of my head! I’ve done my best to split these by genre, although some obviously fit in multiple categories. You can also browse through my "original stuff" tag for things that haven't made it as far as a concrete project, if you can tolerate the mess.

Vampire Prince Walter; a romantic comedy about childhood sweethearts (who have since become a vampire and a werewolf) being arranged to marry each other... as long as their fathers don't find out they like each other too much to spy on the other.

New Apocalyptia; a comedy about a world where all movie apocalypses happened at once (slightly NSFW)

Salt Water; an adventure story about a group trying to reach the bottom of their world’s incredibly deadly oceans, also mermaids and surfing as a death sport

Peppermint Circuits; a gay love story set in a world where everyone has a chip in their brain to influence their behavior (slightly NSFW)

Superfish; a traditional coming of age superhero story about an LGBT group for college-aged sidekicks

Villain Risk; a superhero drama about an illegal hero team being arrested, told after the fact by a social worker, a kid in juvenile detention, and a shapeshifter who killed a cop and stole his life

Tooth and Nail; a superhero/kaiju mashup about bioengineered superheroes fighting monsters, and the protagonist’s attempts to protect his new apprentice from the horrors of their work

would you be willing to stop publicly answering the scam asks? they're almost definitely automated and won't see your responses, but seeing them on my dash makes me sad - it's bad enough getting em in my own inbox

i completely understand where you're coming from, but i just wouldn't feel right not doing it. like, if me publicly answering scam asks to dunk on them helps other people who maybe are still on the fence about whether or not they're legit, i want to do that. i want to keep people from being lied to. ntm the fact that these dirtbags make minor changes to their URLs so frequently that, if somebody doesn't yet know how these kinds of scams work, they might end up trying to google the blog handle or something and not think to check variations for scamminess.

i'm not articulating this very well probably orz the curse of ten-to-3-AM. point is i'm well aware the scammers don't care, but i'm not answering for the scammers. i'm answering for the people who might have been targeted by the scammers and might need convincing that they're trying to scam them.

but anyway. likely-badly-articulated reasoning aside, i do tag any scam asks i answer with the tag "#scammers" in case you want to block it, though i may switch to "#scam asks" just so that other scammer-related stuff (IE, things to keep an eye out for) doesn't necessarily get lumped in with the actual scammers themselves.

to fuel ur theatre au brainworms, in the romeo and juliet au: mercutio is bdubs + benvolio is cleo, and jimmy and joel are sampson and gregory (two capulets from the start of the play they're such dumbasses my absolute beloveds), so we've got the design philosophy of the montagues and the capulets mirroring the aesthetics of the family and the bad boysss. (I never came up with a design for bad boy!Ren when he steps in as Tybalt instead of Grian during show week but I feel it's not too hard to imagine hehe)

but also (separately from that au, because I saw other talk of the life series and theatre and plays on ur blog) I constantly think about the life series as a greek tragedy, specifically in relation to the purpose of the series' inevitable tragedy being catharsis for the watchers (with the watchers also being literally the viewers). we love to see them suffer!!! but there's also a bunch of politics surrounding greek tragedies that Plato and Aristotle had discourse about that you can rope into it and tldr; my understanding is catharsis was Aristotle's answer to Plato's concern that tragedies' emotive affect could encourage rebellion against the state, with Aristotle saying that instead the cycle of pity and fear and eventual catharsis felt by the audience has a "purifying" effect that's like an emotional release from those emotions instead. Then with the extra layer of lore the fandom has surrounding Grian running away from the watchers, if Grian designs the life games, to the end of sating the watchers' need to emotionally feed (thank you Martyn for that piece of lore I'm stealing it jkfhdsk), the purpose of the games could be the cleansing of the watchers' discomfort with him running away and being a player and maintaining the status quo where Grian is actually the one in control !!!! even if he makes himself suffer. also different characters "curses" as their harmatia!! And, if we interpret the watchers as a fictional force AND the viewers simultaneously, then the chorus could absolutely be watchers who are vocal in the fandom - removed from the "players" (and OH how I love the dual meaning of minecraft players and players as in actors) but providing additional commentary and insight into what's happening that further feeds the emotional experience of the audience !!

alsooooo if you don't know the show "& Juliet" scar and grian are ALSO romeo and juliet in that to me, it's their last life/early double life era </3

OK i m having fun so far doing this disabled webtoon characters bracket so once the finals are over I'll change the pfp, banner and url and start a kids in webtoon bracket.

You'll see the questions but basically here are the rules of submission:

The child cannot be older than 18. If they grow up over the course of the stories it's different. In the case of an immortal child, just submit and give all the precisions you can, I'll rule on case by case.

The child has to be named or to be recurring enough that the fandom/comment section has a nickname for them.

the issue here is i have a recency issue. they cycle out depending on what i’ve consumed recently. so ill forget a blorbo and be sad about it. also i have a predilection for sad little bisexual guys so it’s very skewed

1. one of my OGs is will parry from his dark materials. he’s of that type of male character that is relentlessly kind shonen protagonist who keeps being forced into violence but doesnt want to. also the original book boyfriend next to percy jackson. 12 year old me was obsessed. i loved prince caspian and half the narnia boys for the same reason, and when i watched fullmetal alchemist this was why alphonse elric was my favorite elric brother. (this is also why i love yuji, tanjiro, and deku very dearly)

2. probably one of my first blorbos of all time was elphaba from wicked, hence my old URL. reading that book too early changed my brain chemistry. area leftist of a marginalized identity maligned by society and also bisexual as hell. she will always be my first and forever girly. you can imagine what happened to me when i met wei wuxian, who is essentially the same character. i went nuts

3. the funny little bisexual man who covers his pain with humor and cares so deeply usually goes on the list. one of my first was and always will be Sokka, but percy jackson fills this role as well as my beloveds, Satoru Gojo, and Vash the Stampede

4. funny little bisexual man who covers his pain with humor and is doomed by the narrative could cover many already mentioned but Nicholas D. Wolfwood remains the pinnacle. he’s very important to me. ive made a lot of posts about him but him representing this existential dread that you’ll die before you find happiness haunts me

5. the secondary villain who becomes a begrudging part of the team for comedy also always is a favorite but Greed from FMA has always stuck with me. an embodiment of one of humanity’s sins finding peace because the thing he most coveted became the love of others and not material wants got my ass

7. maul is also one of my favorites of all time. they really resurrected him and made him the most compelling in the narrative. the tragedy that he wont let go even in his last moments always gets me. watching twin suns actually broke me. his story in rebels was airing in a part of my life where i really identified with him as someone gifted yet ignored and thrown away and it got me

8. shocking absolutely no one, while sailor moon is one of my favorite pieces of media of all time and it is largely about women, my blorbo is tuxedo mask, mamoru chiba, the like ONE guy. he’s pathetic, he’s bisexual, and he’s also one of my first anime crushes of all time. more importantly he has been wronged by many adaptations and i must fight for his honor.

9. the Doctor remains ever important to me, especially 9, but them as a character. probably the same as Vash and Xie Lian, the sad immortal character cursed to constantly be alone who doesn’t want to hurt people always gets my ass

The Bridge, being what they were, had been privy to the highs and lows of civilization. All gods had, they are sure, but their case is not so... Complete. Often, the two do not even notice the time passing, until called upon- simply existing in the End, watching its people flutter about, change, spread out. It embarrasses the louder half, the brighter half, that sometimes they forget the other dimensions exist.

And yet, they do see snippets.

Many mundane- a farmer offering a portion of his harvest in exchange for an equal weight of shadowberries, which he had seen in an herbology book and become quite curious about. A girl attempting to barter loose coin for a mostly harmless weapon to beat her little brother senseless with for sticking gum in her hair. A piglin requesting safe passage from his conquests to his home, where another piglin and two young piglets await him.

these, the bridge enjoys. small things, quiet trades. a gift from a friend, not a trade from a god. it lifts their spirits so they are not so lonely.

Some, quite enthralling. A whole village coming together, pooling trinkets with emotional sentiment to trade for a single wither rose, needed to cure one of their own, a small boy that had been cursed cruelly to rot in his bed. A battalion offering the head of slain beast that could bring them many riches, in exchange for the head of a hated enemy.

THESE, THE BRIDGE ENJOYS. IT ROBS THEM OF THEIR BOREDOM. IT BOILS INKY BLOOD IN THEIR VEINS. IT MAKES GODHOOD FEEL RIGHT, FEEL TRUE. IT EXCITES.

And some, too... Horrible. They need not describe the lengths humanity and its brethren will go when desperate- they experience the results more often than not. And yet everytime they are offered an infant, a child, a hated outcast, a necessary sacrifice-- they find themselves appalled that they could be so disrespected, so misunderstood.

A life is intangible. A life holds infinite value, and yet none. A life can be snuffed out, and the world will keep turning. A life can be snuffed out, and many worlds fall.

Somehow, though, they find themselves... Surprised.

A desperate plea for medicine. A family, a village rotting from the inside out. Their elder, half-dead on his feet, and yet standing, staring them down. Arms held wide. Faces stricken around him, but not him.

This, this happens much less frequently.

"Hardly a fair exchange," the old man laughs, and then coughs, rot expelled from his lungs. He doesn't have long. They can see the path before him, and it is very short. "And yet you- cough- you accepted it." He stares at them, eyes sunken and yet bright. He is smiling. "My son said you wouldn't."

"why did he believe we would deny such a request?" the bridge wonders, quiet confusion.

"WHY DID YOU BELIEVE WE WOULD ACCEPT?" THE BRIDGE sneers, loud condescension.

The old man laughs again, weaker still. His breathing is labored, heart hammering faintly in his chest. That he had stood for their appraisal was a miracle. That, or perhaps it was the final nail in his coffin. "I was a priest, you know. Not like all them new-age types, who spend more money on gilded chandeliers than comfortable pews." He stops to breathe, pale, arms struggling to hold his weight. The Bridge does not hesitate to adjust their embrace, shifting to brace his back, letting his tired arms rest.

If anything, it makes his smile grow wider. More knowing.

"So many believe you're neutral in the face of conflict. That whoever offers the highest bid's gonna win the war--"

"THEY ARE CORRECT."

"Hush, no they ain't," he admonishes, amused when their quieter side swats their louder counterpart in retaliation for interrupting. "You're a god, sure, but gods come from people, and people come from gods. If y'all were so simple, none of us down there be so damn complicated."

"that has merit," the bridge concedes, before adding liltingly, "though you may create a schism with that talk."

The old man grins, teeth dark with old blood. Too tired to laugh.

"Yeah, yeah. I say the more the merrier," he dismisses easily. "Point is, I knew it'd work because you hate sacrifices."

"We Do Not Hate," The Bridge retorts in unison.

"You got opinions up in there, no need to deny it to a... To a dead man." Winded, now. His voice grows thick. "Y'hate em. But I'm not a sacrifice, am I?"

"NO."

"you came willingly."

"YOU ARE A GIFT."

"and we, to you."

The old man's grin softens into a smile. It's small and vulnerable on his pale, gaunt face. He looks so terribly kind.

"See?" He rasps, and then coughs. It exhausts him greatly, until he's barely able to hold his head up to watch them. His path is a scant few millimeters, edging like lace. Silhouetting him in gold.

"Tell Sammy... I was right. ...'nd that it's okay th't he was wrong."

"Of Course," they promise solemnly, offering two twin, terrible smiles of their own. "Safe travels lead you to distant shores, old friend. Be seeing you."

"Be..."

But he is already gone.

Time sticks, and stays, and hardens to stone.

The Bridge has seen the highs and lows of civilization.

It would be easier if they did not.

📇 — does your url have a meaning? if so, what is it?

This is a bit of a story, so bear with me. Back when I was playing WoW, somewhere around the middle of Wrath of the Lich King - when the Argent Tournament thingy dropped - I was in a "casual" raiding guild, raiding three times a week for three to four hours a day. The day that Tournament dropped, we stopped Ulduar farming to go to the Argent thing and - blind - dropped in expecting to progress. Unsurprisingly, we didn't.

But oh. Oh, the raid drama. The screaming. The cursing. The blame. I was so sick of it. I needed a break. I'd heard that there were servers people actually role-played on and I had fond memories of chatroom RP from the late 90s. I used to write, you see, but my muse died somewhere along the way and I hadn't written anything in years. So I decided I'd go find one of these RP servers and see what it was like.

I rolled a human female warlock.

On Moon Guard.

It took about twelve seconds for me to realize my mistake. I nuked her and rerolled a human male priest - an old-looking one, at that. I played Father Kostadin off and on for a month or two, when I was bouncing around the Moon Guard wiki and found an interesting looking guild called "Knights of Menethil." They purported to be the only all-death-knight guild in WoW. I liked death knights. They'd just lifted the restrictions on making them, so I could roll one without having an established character already, so...

I rolled a draenei female death knight.

She needed a name and I - planning on only dropping in with her occasionally as a break from the raid drama - didn't think very hard about it. I found a list of gods and goddesses. I selected the name of an Icelandic goddess of death because the cliche of it amused me, and added another vowel to make it "more draenei."

It turns out my muse was dead. And in service to the Lich King.

Not long after I started playing Valdiis, the raid group imploded from the drama. I happily skipped town to Moon Guard full time, writing my grumpy undead space goat. Eventually, I rose through the military-style ranks of the guild until I was the junior officer of the triumvirate that lead the guild. I met my husband through that guild. The third officer would've been officiant at our wedding had he been able to attend.

Until I'd created Valdiis, I went by either Rosoe (an even earlier RP character) or SeraphBriar, a standard internet handle that still haunts me in my etsy login. But after many years of writing her, Valdiis became something of a mascot to me. Although I've long ago left WoW behind (at the end of Legion), she is still my first child. Or at least, my first since becoming an adult.

This tumblr originally had a name relating to the RP character it was created for, but as I evolved away from him, I decided this tumblr needed to be something of a catch-all, removed slightly from strict IC rules. Valdiis - as a character - was retired, but I'd been known as Val(diis) for years by that point, so I changed this tumblr's name to hers.

For the most part, my internet presence is consolidated under that name now. But I'll never let myself live down the fact that it was originally a meme on death.

The point of this spell is to cause whoever you cast this on to be seen as a shitty person by others. It will bring their most disgusting traits to the surface, so much so, that they can no longer be ignored. Every word that comes out of their mouth will (metaphorically) smell like shit. Every action they take (also a metaphor) will be as if they pulled their pants down in the middle of the room, and took a shit. Even their very presence (last metaphor) will reek of shit. However, this is not a curse, only a hex. Once they realize how shitty they have been, and they make an effort to change as a person, then this hex will no longer affect them. This hex works well for teaching people a good lesson on how to not be a shitty human being ;)

Wait until you need to pass a Bowel Movement

Bring a sharpie with you before you go! Any color will work, but I prefer red or black! (Both colors work great for baneful work in general)

GO SHIT

Before you wipe your ass, write the name of the person who has wronged you on your toilet paper (urls and usernames will also work if you don’t know someone’s actual name)! Focus your anger and intent into the text, but don’t be obsessive. Remember, they are shit, and shit it’s not worth anything more than your disgust and annoyance!

For added flare, you can chant (out loud or in your head) “YOU ARE SHIT” as you write!

Wipe your ass with their name facing towards your ass hole! It’s better if you fold your TP for this rather than crumple it! However, it doesn’t matter how much paper you use, or the amount of times you fold it!

You only need to do this once, so feel free to clean your ass up as much as needed! However, this spell is recommended as your first wipe so that a good amount of fecal matter is used!

Forget about the person you cast this on, because shit isn’t worth your time or energy!

Feel free to change whatever you’d like about this hex lol it’s whatever fits your needs!

Summary: This is a crossover fic with Criminal Minds TV series and the movie called 'No One Lives'. I love Luke Evans in 'No One Lives' he makes an otherwise blah movie enjoyable as the deliciously crazy bad guy, and what motivated him. How even a monstrous psychopath can love. And I thought why not do a crossover with one of my favorite TV Shows in celebration of its reboot, 'Criminal Minds: Evolution'. In this fic, Secrets from Garcia's past come back to haunt her.

She had stood in line for nearly five minutes while she clutched the gallon of rocky road ice cream, and waited patiently for Mrs. Ling to ring up the customers in front of her. Mrs. Ling was in her early eighties and moved like every joint in her body had arthritis and the thickness of her glasses told just how blind she was. But still, she ran the little convenience store in the neighborhood, and no one had ever tried to rob it. It was as if there was some unspoken rule that you had better not mess with Mrs. Ling. Also, people who lived in the neighborhood really went out of their way to look out for the elderly lady, even the younger crowd who'd you'd think would be the ones causing the most trouble. Yes, they left Mrs. Ling alone, but anyone else was fair game.

"Damn, girl, you thick," The tallest of the three younger boys who stood just behind her spoke out. He was a black boy but his accent told her that he was Latino, and his dark complexion made her think of the Dominican Republic. He was accompanied by another black boy who didn't say anything but the way he leered at her while sucking on the cherry blow pop in his mouth spoke volumes. She didn't engage with them she just kept staring straight ahead and she shuffled forward when another patron had been checked out.

"You know I gotta thing for pretty ladies who wear glasses," The other boy, a pimply-faced white boy, who looked too scrawny and too soft to even be hanging with the other two, spoke out. He reached out and flicked one of her golden locks with his right pointer finger. Under the light of day, she probably would have turned to him and given him a piece of her mind at his audacity to touch a woman without permission. But it was 10:15 pm and she hadn't been able to talk her mind out of going out for a late-night craving. And Mrs. Ling had just finished ringing up the guy right in front of her so she rushed forward and placed the ice cream and money on the counter. When Mrs. Ling wrung her up and she saw her total, she just slid her the five and three single dollar bills, grabbed up the ice cream, spoke a soft good night, and hurried out the exit.

Once outside she took big strides to her car, as big as the hip-hugging dress and stilettos she wore would allow. She silently cursed at herself for not changing out of her work attire before she left home, but it had been a late workday and the craving for ice cream struck as soon as she had crossed the threshold of her apartment. She let out a slight sigh when she grasped the handle of her car door, but that was soon replaced with a gasp when the door was slammed shut again. She looked up in surprise to see the three younger guys now surrounding her, with the white guy right in front of her as he leaned against her car.

"Hey, can I get your number?" He asked casually as he lazily reached out his right hand and twirled her hair around his fingers.

"I have a boyfriend," She replied as she took a step back and glanced at her surroundings to determine that there was no one else in the parking lot but them. Even the streets were empty and dark. The only help she would be able to get if she had to seek it, would be from Mrs. Ling whom she knew wouldn't be any real help. "He's waiting for me to get back, so…"

"Yo, man let a fine thing like you come out this late by yourself?" The black Latino boy spoke out again. "Don't he know there are a lot of dangerous people out here at night?" He asked as he moved right up to her backside and ground himself against her ass. This made her panic and step forward and right up against the white boy, who reached up and grasped both of her bountiful breasts in both of his hands. Her unshed tears were already blurring her vision as she shivered slightly in fear of what she was sure was about to happen to her. Before she could open her mouth to scream for help a gunshot rang out, and she along with her three unwanted companions turned to where the shot emerged. They could only make out the dark silhouette of a tall, slender built figure and the gun in his right hand. "Hey, we were just trying to help the lady to her car," He added as he held his hands up to show he was no threat.

"Yeah, man," The white guy added as he opened the car door for her, but she stood rooted in her spot as she stared at the man who stood across the street, hidden in the darkness watching them. There was something familiar about him but she couldn't quite place what it was. Then he tilted his head ever so slightly and it sent a chill through her body and made her drop the ice cream. She quickly hopped into her car, started it up, and backed out of her parking space as the force of the movement slammed the door closed. The three guys had jumped back out of the way cursing as they watched her peel away. The shadow man watched her as she left.

He had first noticed her three days prior and he started stealthily following and watching her. He thought she might have been one of his beloveds from his past, the one that got away, but he hadn't been sure until that very moment. As she looked at him her eyes told him that she thought she had known him, and then right before she jumped in her car and sped off, her eyes held a look of recognition. It had been 30 years since he'd last seen her, 30 years of him searching and never finding any clues to her whereabouts. Then three days ago while passing through town he had randomly stopped for coffee, something he'd never done in the home of the FBI, and there she was. And once he saw her, he ignored all of his survival skills and survival instincts, which screamed at him to get the hell out of town. Instead, he had been so drawn to her as if she had put a compulsion and enthrallment spell over him and he had followed her discreetly. Now he was glad he had, now he was 100% sure of who she was.

"My Penny," He whispered out into the darkness and a smile curved his lips as his eyes stayed locked onto the rear lights on her car until she finally rounded a corner a block down the street.
