why are we taught that the best love we can get is romantic love? finding our soulmate. why is that our uncouncious purpose in life?

we are ignoring small loves

loving the stars. loving the wind. the songs played by birds in the forest. the rainbow. the waves. the moment we realize we drew a smile on a stranger's face. or when we feel understood. listening to our favorite song as we dance in the rain. standing in silence with a person we feel most comfortable with and realizing words aren't everything...

Fan: A friend called me to show off. She soon sent me a picture to confirm that she met Apo. She kept screaming over the phone (ahahah) and told me that her hands were very shaky. She said Apo is very cute! She never met him this close 😭! She talks and i get jealous

Fan: In the evening, I went out to 7-Eleven and accidentally met Apo. Haha. My hands were shaking a lot. I felt like I was talking a lot. Haha. Apo is so cute. ok so this might just be rambling, but i finished watching Dead Poet Society again (and it made me gutturally sob…again) and i thought-why does the ending hurt so bad. aside from the obvious death and other stuff from that ending.

i came to the conclusion that it wasn’t just the death/way that Neil died that hit so hard. it was the feeling of inevitability of it. It was the fact that while his parents are so obviously a direct cause to his mental state, they weren’t doing anything legally wrong. there’s no way to actually tie his parents to the death-and more importantly, there was no way to get Neil out of his situation. It’s not like some other cases where someone can swoop in and save the day by separating Neil from his cause of distress (his parents).

Plus the fact that his parents ordered the “investigation” of the cause only solidified that. They thought they did nothing wrong, and they pushed all of the blame on the one adult who was trying to do right. And there was nothing that anyone could do to really stop it.
