Thank you @crochetmelovely for the chevron mesh stitch tutorial! I used it to make this blanket for a friend. Using yarn from my stash, I did five rows of country blue, three rows of skipper blue, and five rows of soft navy, with two rows of an unlabeled beige that I had in between the blues. All were red heart yarn, except possibly the beige. I then did one row of single crochets along each side in the mystery beige, squeezing four into a row to create a little ruffle. I’m very happy with the finished product, and as you can see in the one photo, it’s Chloe-approved. :)

Little dragon kitten I crocheted! I used size 10 thread and 1.5mm & 1.65mm hooks* and he took me about a week. His tail is wired but other than that, he’s just thread and fiberfill. I’m pretty pleased with him (:

Last year, I made quick chocobos to sell at my con table... they looked like weird egg things. But people seemed to like them. This year, I wanted to make chocobos (seems fitting since I cosplay Prompto) but I wanted something cuter than my egg... creatures. This is the current result. I didn’t give him wings because I’m not sure if I want to or not.

This is my latest creation for my Catholic School’s Charity Auction Fundraiser. The Auction was in February, but I thought I’d share this anyway.

The students chose two colors and I crocheted two rows per student. There are 89 students in this Catholic School.

The student laying on the Afghan is the tallest 5th grader in school. The Afghan was sold for $500 at this years auction.

Thinking about learning how to do the chevron pattern for next year.

I finally finished the Modern Lace Crochet Afghan by @crochetmelovely! I absolutely love this pattern and will definitely be teaching for it again. I added a lacey border to really bring those rosey hues to life and voilà! 🌹
