Mommy asked me to make some hats for a family friend of ours and I obviously said yes. I coincidentally wanted to start more smaller projects in between some of the larger knits I've been making recently, so it worked out well for me.
First hat is a simple slouchy type with a pompom. It's a simple garter stitch but I think it's really cute for a variegated skein of yarn and I really like a detail where the brim is knit with smaller needles so the garter for the brim looks tighter idk it's just nice.

Second hat is the opposite from the first, all over cables instead of very simple basic garter lol. It was very easy and I think this yarn works well for the cables. Mr 1pound yarn ball doesn't show off the cables or slouch all that well though.

I'll admit a secret, I'm actually very terrified of bunnies! Even putting these pictures into the queue made me a bit shaky, I don't know why they scare me but they do. However, they are my wife's favourite animal and especially white bunnies ... so when I saw there was a pen with bunnies and this precious lady I just had to steel my nerves for pictures. I even held this bunny, she was so warm and soft!! She has a special pen because of her albinism and she's only let out every once in awhile to make sure she is safe!!! It was very scary but what a photogenic bunny!

More re-redraws, I'm trying so hard with Maxxor that I didn't realize just how piss poor I made Intress… bro this is what only ever drawing cute girls your whole life does to you, so I re-re-redrew it again now that I"ve been practicing more to make up for it… still not great, but I guess I'd rather draw bad forever than to never try at all right? ALSO awww these few episodes really felt like you get why Tom and Kaz are besties. SO sweet.

Third hat I wanted a staple piece of the very basic rib/cable type beanie with the foldover brim. I looooove this yarn it's got these linen flecks in it that I think looks very charming with this style of hat. I am going to get more of it and make more hats just for fun. The pictures of this hat look very blue but it is more that periwinkle type colour. It doesn't like being photographed and I don't like taking more than two seconds to edit the pics so eh.

And for the fourth hat I decided on another cabled beanie, this time with a bit shorter brim and a more form fitting body. For fun I decided to try right leaning cables on this hat, where the other one has left leaning cables.
I have put the hats in the queue the wrong way around so we are counting down instead of up and this explanation text of the hat means fuck all until the other hats with descriptions release lol.
