A/N: Because you @lilly-pad02 didn’t specify a gender preference, just that your Tav is Pansexual and monogamous, I’ve given you one of both below. For your matchups, I think Gale (Male) and Karlach (Female) would be best suited to you.

☸ Gale would be a great match for your Tav, Nixie! He’s always excited to learn more about the world, especially about lands, cultures, and magics from far away. He’d love nothing more than for Nixie to regal him with all the tales of her and her crew’s grand adventures on the high seas.

Gale has made it very clear that to him, the most important thing in a partner is personality and commitment, not looks. He’s not against dating a tiefling, or a halfling, or even a mind flayer! He thinks Nixie looks amazing. She has this strong, adventurous aura about her which intrigues him greatly.

Gale may be a bit intimidated even by Nixie’s outgoing demon and sailor mouth, but that just becomes another one of the things he loves about her. He thinks it's very admirable, Nixie’s choice to save slaves from their slave ships, to grant them freedom. Gale knows freedom is not something to take lightly, it's a treasure, and it should be protected accordingly. (He’s also a little teensy bit intimidated by her sorcery, being a wizard and all, but he keeps that tidbit to himself.)

Gale’s home is in Waterdeep but he’s not against joining Nixie for one or two adventures on the high seas every year, so long as he can come back to his tower now and then to check in on Mrs. Dekarious and his old friends. On that note, Tara adores Nixie, for getting Gale to finally come out of his shell. Although the tressym may have a habit of making a passive-aggressive comment or two about the pair finally “settling down” lol.

Knowing that she wants to avoid scurvy, Gale takes it upon himself to find all the recipes he can that include lemon or orange, promising to make them for her. He loves cooking and is more than happy to adjust his ingredient list to suit her needs.

The both of them are constantly in pursuit of something more, something greater- a trait they admire in one another. They encourage each other in the best of ways, all while understanding that even though they're committed to one another, they’re committed to their unique goals as well.

Overall the two of them work great together! Their goals in life and love align just perfectly! Thanks to Nixie’s travels and Gale’s teaching, they become one of the best-known couples in Baldur’s Gate. Bards and poets alike write songs and prose dedicated to their relationship. It’s very safe to say they’re basically couple goals.

❂ Karlach would also make a good match for Nixie! She’s just as loud and adventurous and always down for a good time. Plus, Karlach is a tiefling as well, so she gets the discrimination that can come with the horns and tail.

Karlach and Nixie together are like the life of the party! They’re both so compassionate, even though their lives haven’t always been easy. Karalch admires Nixie so much for her rebellious spirit, choosing to free the slaves on slave ships she and her crew come across. Karlach herself was a slave once, and she would have given anything for someone like Nixie to come and rescue her before she was dragged to Avernus.

A date between the two of them involves A LOT of rum drinking. And singing. And karaoke. (Do they have karaoke in DnD? Well, whatever, they do now!)

So long as Karlach’s infernal engine gets fixed, I could see her enjoying a life spent mostly on the high seas. She’d love feeling like part of a crew/family and getting to stay by Nixie’s side. Just promise to keep the rum stocked for the journey, throw in a pirate’s hat, and Karalch’s on board!

The two of them are a fierce couple. They become well known as renegades, especially amongst other tieflings. In fact, they sort of become tiefling legends- being hailed as heroes for freeing many of their people from slave ships and never being afraid to punch a racist in the nose.

With the two of them together, there’s nothing they can’t face!

I don't know how I ended up drawing so many edgy or goofy Obito pics because initially I was attracted back into the fandom by everything white-haired Obito encompasses (a repentant criminal who reclaims his true self: regret, the power of personal CHOICES, ruthlessness directed at yourself, fiery determination and sternness, single-minded & dogged self-sacrificial tendencies, a kind of enlightened clarity, violent self-restoration, crawling out of hell, accepting reality and taking accountability for everything you possibly can, courageously FACING things, crushing the yoke of darkness, seeing some meaning again, never giving up on it again, never letting yourself lose the light in the heart again no matter what it takes--and in exaltation all of it is still a bit psychopathic and wild, but it's like a poison that cures, cures death itself - the death inside you, the sopor of your spirit). I can't call them headcanons, they are actually canon (and do I love canon!), but they are the dearest things to me, and some of them are reflected/explored in my doujins (long comics); somehow I consider only my doujins my "serious works" loaded with deep ideas/imagery. The rest is for pure entertainment and fandom fun. But I still express the listed things in the frequent >:-[ face expressions I draw on him xD thousand-yard stares, knitted eyebrows... At the same time he can finally laugh at himself again, and carve his new way with a lightness in his heart, like on my pfp, so he's smiling a lot in my pics.

*** As for some additional Obito headcanons that I have, there are few since canon has given me everything I've ever needed.

I like the idea of Joubito wearing red sometimes :3 I like the idea of Obito sealing some of his chakra into Kakashi when the latter was fighting Kaguya (like Minato sealed his and Kushina's into Naruto), and then, when Kakashi is Hokage, it activates in some situation and they meet again in Kakashi's headspace. They have a lot to talk about. No art about that. [nsfw] Sometimes I also kinda like to entertain the idea of canon Obito's Zetsu flesh not only ridding him of all human bodily processes like the need to drink, sleep or eat, but also of his libido (nothing human about him anymore), and it's fun to think about how in a post-canon AU, after the destruction of the Gedo Mazou, Zetsus and all other possible 'evil' things he can't have extra chakra anymore, and his normal human physicality gradually returns. And suddenly! He experiences something he last experienced when he was 13, and it's strange, embarrassing, long-forgotten. E.g. he has a stupid wet dream, and it's not an experience he welcomes now, but his body is so... alive now. As is his heart. He can't ignore his body as easily anymore. No art. I like the idea of the Sage teaching Obito in the next world more things about the chakra and then secretly sending him back to the world of the living to work on his karma a bit and do a few important things here and there (e.g. fix something in Ame), and no one knows, but he has to reveal himself to Hokage Kakashi at one point. I love the idea of them working together on something. No art. Just a doodle xD

Disco-Spider OC Asks - Part 2

Know: How well does your OC know themself—their wants, their goals, their motivations? Do they engage in any sort of self-reflection? Is there anything about themself they willfully ignore?

For the most part, Disco knows what she wants, and what means the most to her. She a communist - raised Marxist - and she cares about the health of the community over the health of herself. That leads to little self-reflection on her needs and wants. She's always in motion, so it's easy to just 'never have the time'. She'll willfully ignore her own wants for the Spider Society, and Miguel, and sometimes that backfires.

Intimacy: Is your OC the type of person to engage in long-term relationships, or are they more casual in their intimacy and affection? How do they feel about intimacy and relationships in general?

Unlike some people, Diane loves consistency. But she loves independence as a black woman too. She's poly, and not really for labels - not until she knows it's serious. Disco operates under the no-face-no-case model. When it comes to intimacy, she's surprisingly private. With Spider Society heavily regulating things like 'canon romances', and with Jess on her ass 24/7, it's just easier that way. And more fun in her opinion. The whole 'lovey-dovey groupie persona is a good cover for this'. Hobie and Diane aren't outwardly romantic, don't have a name for what they are, and if asked Hobie will say 'She's my bird.' and Diane will say 'I know him.' or 'We talk.'

It's complicated.

Contrary to what they'll let on, Hobie and Diane have dated in the past. And they fought for two weeks straight, recorded a great album, then broke up. Immediately after, they were back to normal, and back to their normal flirting. They just suck at labels. Only Gwen knows about this. Most of the arguments stemmed from the fact that Hobie deeply dislikes Diane's dedication to the society. And over time he tells her that they're purposely taking advantage of her. But in her eyes, Jess is like her family - she assumes they just want what's best for her. And thing can get heated when Hobie says that canon events aren't real. She says it makes her feel like her pain means nothing. But Diane and Hobie are close in a lot of ways. Both are far leftists, with experience in oppressive governments. They're both from the same era. And the thing they bond most over, is their music The two of them are huge muses for each other - even though the music they make is completely different from each other. While Diane plays smooth funk and Hobie plays hard rock, they're both a big part of the others creative process. Every now and again they'll feature as bass or guitar on the other's songs, or Disco will do uncredited vocals - but they're no Cher and Sonny. They're not each other's supporting act, but each other's biggest fans. Which is like, the perfect way to describe their relationship. Even if they're not dating, they're kinda riding each other's frequency. If you've ever seen Morgan and Garcia from Criminal Minds, it's like that. Except sometimes they make-out at parties if they get really drunk. Diane finally breaks out of the Society's coding and leaves shortly after Gwen gets sent home. She's still adjusting to losing her 'family' and place in the society. But she's thankful to Hobie for his help and honesty, so they're going from there
