We’re so excited to be back and to once again have you here!

As always, let’s fill the month of October with as much fluff as possible 🥰 and for that to happen, we not only have 31 prompts for you, no; we also have something special this year...

Last year's Prompt Substitutes were very well-loved and a lot of you used them to replace some prompts from the original list. You're more than welcome to do this again if there's a prompt that doesn't work for you for whatever reason - no explanation needed.

Once again, we offer you last year's top five fan favorites (as voted in the end survey). In addition to that, we also offer five scenario prompts.

If you don't want to replace any prompt from the original list but still love the additional ones - or you simply want to challenge yourself - you can also mix them all together!

So in whichever way you use these Prompt Extras, have fun with them and go wild 💚

It’s okay to write one story/a series for all the prompts as long as it’s separated into chapters and the respective chapter/work is posted on the given day.

You do not have to stick to one ship or even one fandom - switch as often as you like to or even write for multiple ships for one day.

The ship does not have to be a romantic one! Friendship and family feels are more than welcome (but this is not a way to get around rule #1!)

This event can be combined with other events as long as the other event allows it.

Late entries are always welcome, even if it is months later.

All fandoms and ships are welcome - fanon and canon - as long as they’re of age (in case you want to add smut) and not related.

Since this has often been asked in previous years, please let us clarify the no inc*st or p*dophilia rule:

No inc*st: This rule does not apply to distant cousins and such, as you might find in the LotR fandom (or basically in all of European Monarchy). The line we draw is at direct blood relations (siblings, parents, kids) and/or legal guardianship.

No p*dophilia: This rule does not rule out fandoms that feature teenagers such as Harry Potter, Heartstoppers, Hunger Games, etc. It also doesn't mean you can't write about their time together as teenagers! It was mostly aimed at ships in which one is a minor and the other is not - but since even that got complicated over time, the rule is now this: if you keep it SFW, all is good and allowed, we don't care; if it turns NSFW, be mindful of the legalaties of the world/society/times your characters live in.

Maybe I'm just overly focused on how lore/canon works with the life series + HC, but I haven't seen anyone discussing how Bdubs very very directly references Cleo scolding him in Double Life in Ren's Audition Tapes video. (I mean, some people are joking about it, but I haven't seen any meta posts/ analysis of it yet)

At 14:00 in Ren's video: "Just from what I know of Cleo- She scolded me so badly, one time, that I felt like a little child. And she was right to scold me! I was a bad guy, I did a bad thing- I was lying, and she caught me, and she put me in my place."

Especially bc this ep was so very "in character", this to me is a direct confirmation that the Bdubs on Hermitcraft remembers the life series + events therein. (And as a result, the Crastle is named with full knowledge of what happened with the previous Crastle!)

But a stranger in the internet shouldn't deal with the effect of the events in your life, 'cause at the end of the day, that what i am to you, a mere stranger that is making a content you want to see, maybe not as important to you as your family or friends to deserve a better treatment and respect, but making this kind of comment or having this kind of attitude with me is like making it to the cashier in the supermarket, aka uncomfortable.

I also saw your comment about meaning it as a joke, and even in that case you need to be careful with your tone in the internet, things like sarcasm or tone jokes don't really translate right in writting if you're not using the right ways (like the classic /j), and it recommended that you don't use this kind of joke with people you don't know/don't know how your humor work, 'cause people could read your tone as mean or angry due the mayus, my just awaked brain read it like that when i saw it, and i was, as i said before, uncomfortable.

Unsure if the tumblr fandom was aware of what’s going on with smoshtwt and tiktok right now, but basically there’s a fan who is claiming to be Damien’s cousin and Shayne’s girlfriend. While we, as fans, know that she is lying about this- it’s unclear if she is lying in order to gain attention, or if she is dealing with a form of delusion. Of course, speculating on the mental state of an internet stranger is frowned upon, but this situation is bigger than that at this point.

This is now about the safety of Smosh cast and crew.

She has posted cryptic messages about going out to LA soon and seeing them in person. This kind of behavior is absolutely that of a stalker’s and should be taken seriously regardless of whether or not she’s just doing this for attention. The safety of Shayne, Courtney, Damien, and the rest of the Smosh cast/crew is being endangered right now.

According to the Twitter user that originally posted about this, Rachel (Smosh cast/crew member) is aware of what’s happening, and they are taking this situation seriously.

This post is not in any way, shape, or form a way for me to “rally the fandom” and attack this girl. It is purely to raise awareness to the situation, and remind everyone:

Do not, under ANY circumstances, EVER visit a content creators (or anyone affiliated with the content creator’s) home, place of work, or location that you think they frequent.

Calling all small content creators! Are you interested in a large competitive Minecraft event this summer? Consider “The Trial 3” hosted by myself and the folks at Rascals Productions!

"The Trial 3" is an event hosted by Rascals Productions meant to bring together content creators in the small-mid size MCYT space. The primary focus is to invite feminine content creators to foster healthy competition and promote new friendships. We are looking for approximately 35 debuted content creators to participate in this 5 day long event.

The event is set up in a way that is very similar to Quackity Studio's "Purgatory 2" event, where teams will have an allotted amount of time each day before an elimination event which will remove a large portion of the contestants each day. While this is a competitive event, there is no prize.

As of March 14th, when this form was originally made, the set date is July 15th-19th, though it is subject to change.

🌸🍀 Hello and welcome to our (first) Flufftober Spring Edition 🌸🍀

SURPRISE 😁

Yes, we've decided that one month of the year simply isn't enough anymore! So we would like to fill two weeks in March with as much fluff as possible 🥰 for that to happen, we present you with 14 prompts, some of them neutral, some very much sping-themed.

How does this work?

Pretty much like our regular Flufftober event in October, so you'll find all the common rules and info below the cut. Contrary to the big event though, this one here only runs for two weeks instead of the entire month, and we set the date from March 11th to March 24th! So prompt one is NOT supposed to be posted on March 1st but instead on March 11th! Prompt two is for March 12th, prompt 3 for March 13th, and so on...

Since this is a smaller prompt list, you also won't find any prompt extras to switch these out with, sorry. Maaaybe if this event is a success, we'll think about changing that in upcoming years 😉

Not to be an old fart yelling on my lawn but I’m convinced the people freaking out over not seeing Taylor in the media when she’s off tour is because TikTok has convinced them that she (and other celebrities) are not people but content to be consumed and get mad when their favourite app isn’t updated on the daily. The bite-size-ification of content through platforms like those is dehumanizing society to such a degree that people’s worth is judged by what they can provide and has warped a subset of its users’ perception of what it actually means to exist on a basic level.

#I’m not just talking about Taylor but just content creators in general #but even normal people who get drawn into these viral moments and have their lives upended #Taylor and other celebs may be billionaires etc #but they’re people and they don’t exist to update your social media feeds everyday #unless that is their actual job description lmao #instead of complaining she isn’t appearing at events be grateful she’s living her life in peace! #which then helps her to do her job!
