G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

It really depends on how far the relationship is. Platonic or romantic. At first he’s really intense and loud. But once you two settle into each other, he’s very gentle honestly. He’s the ‘softer twin’ after all. Still, he can be intense, but his emotions are soft. Like I said. Fred is the more stern while George is more soft of the two. So his reaction to jealously is more in the terms of anxiety, and sadness. He would get stressed, and worried. Wondering if he’s good enough, if he’s even wasting your time with him.

After the war though? Uh….He might get a little aggressive. Not at you, but whoever it is he feels is threatening his relationship. It’s hard, when you lose your twin. So he gets overly protective and territorial. Afraid he will lose more people. Before the war he’s scared, after the war he’s terrified.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

Cheeks and noses. He loves cute little affection like that. To pepper your face in kisses, and nuzzle his nose with yours. He wants to kiss your face until you giggle. He loves kisses like that in return.

After the war, he loves being kissed on his scar. Fleur would do that with Bill. Kiss his scars, and show him that he is still handsome. That his scars are just as pretty as him. He’s a morning bird. He will be awake early, and working on coffee and breakfast. Enjoying his cup of overly sweet Joe, and a sunrise. Even in school, he was always the first one up. Fred is the night owl, not George. Especially since he would be busy with work. And it’s worse when Fred had died. Before the war, though, it was certainly much better. He would come home, tired, but contented. Have those aches and pains of a hard days work. It gets worse after the war, but over all he’s always been support protective. If anything, you getting caught in the Pink Toad’s crossfire is what caused him and Fred to break out of school. If it wasn’t for the fact she had so much power, it would be safe to assume he would have caused more violence than what was already done. He isn’t afraid to get blood on his hands. Many wizards aren’t, as that is the society. Wizards are a very violent society after all. You say the word, and the person that has been bothering you either gets pranked into a heart attack….or worse.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

It’s his favorite pass time, really. He loves planning. There is so much excitement in it. Also doing small things is just natural for him. To kiss your head, before leaving to work. To remember your favorite flavor of candy, and give you said flavor from the left overs from candy he got in Hogsmeade. He loves doing stuff like that, and it gets worse after WWW. He’s able to pamper you in ways no one could imagine. It’s not a surprise that some of the products are a reaction to gifts and plans he made for you. So many dates, so many fun things. Every moment is special. From the wildest of Quidditch matches, to domestic picnics at Fred’s grave.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

I wouldn’t say having PTSD is an ugly habit, but that is something that will need to be dealt with and handled. It’s hard, but hopefully you were very aware of that when dating him. Suppose more so what actual bad habits he has is saying we/us well after Fred’s death. As if you’ll ever correct him. A more proper bad habit is he has a hard time cleaning, and remembering to eat. Ya know, typical ADHD habits. Suppose remembering self care is a bad habit. Even before the war. He is just a giver. It’s hard to treat yourself, so it leads to some issues. Like dietary issues, his hair getting messy. A really really bad habit he has is always focusing on making others happy, and forgetting himself. Everyone deserves happiness, not him. It’s a trauma that was developed by his life. So it’s hard for him to take a minute to allow himself joy. Lots of bottled up emotions, despite being so open. Complexity of human nature.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

He didn’t really start a worry, until after the war. Now that he was sporting a missing ear, multiple scars, and just a mess of trauma. He went as far as to grow out his hair to try and hide the scars. It’s hard, because since the wound is a magical scar it caused his hair to be unable to grow on that spot. So his hair style had to be very long, which just brought more notice to his scar. It’s often made him cry. Kids asking about it don’t bother him too much, but adults just don’t know when to shut up. He’s cried so many times from it. How he is no longer identical to Fred. That he can’t even see his own brother in his reflection anymore. Many a mirror has been broken, to say the least…..

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Before the war, he would have a better chance of moving on and living life as normal. After? Oh after it’s scary. It’s very scary. He’s lost Fred, don’t make him keep losing people. It’s going to be a very dark day for WWW if he ever lost you.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

Just one?! Oh come on. Ok ok hm. Hehe get angsted. He started to wear purple far more often when Fred died, so in a way Fred is still involved and part of life. Because Fred’s favorite color is purple, while George’s favorite color is orange. Hence their purple and orange color schemes. Green was their mutual shared color they liked. So purple indirectly because almost more loved than orange, because purple reminded him of Fred. So by proxy grape, and such, was a thing that has often comforted him in hard times. If he’s drinking or eating grape flavored things, it’s a sign that he’s sad and needs support. So, in his own little way, Fred is. By giving him comfort in a flavor and color.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

You don’t like kids? He doesn’t like you. You don’t want kids when older? Get out of his face. This doesn’t mean if you are unable to have kids. This means if you aren’t willing to adopt or foster even. If you won’t even accept fostering then you aren’t dating him. Kids are his life. Also, duh, if you can’t take a joke or enjoy a good prank. If you basically don’t have the headspace to be a playful parent, you aren’t even getting the time of day from him. Don’t get him started on the weirdos that make if their whole personality that they don’t have kids. Red flag for him.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)

Before the war, he was a heavy ass sleeper. He would have you tangled in his limbs, as he snores into your hair. He’s knocked out, and you are now trapped with his ginger covered furnace he calls a body. Sure makes winters snuggly. He can sleep through a damn construction sight, while being on a jack hammer. Those twins love loud noises. They don’t get scared by them easily.

After the war is another story. He can’t sleep on his left side, because that makes him go fully deaf after all. He also can’t have the room quiet. The quite scares him. So there will be some kind of background noise. Such as the window open, to have the busy streets of London/Diagon alley to make some sound. Or a record player. He’s also more sensitive to waking up, and has night terrors. He gets scared easily in his sleep. It’s also harder to sleep, if you aren’t there with him. He just hates being alone. He always has Fred, and they had that magical bond. So that even if they were miles apart, they could still feel each other. He doesn’t have that anymore. Isolation is horrific for him. Hence why Bill moved back to working in Gringotts, and into the flats attached to WWW. So he didn’t have to face that fear. Fleur’s thoughts on it? She’s out right slept in the same room as George, one his worse nights, because a Veela knows what it’s like to have magic that isn’t the same as your typical wizard. She knows, and does what she can to help. A true Weasley.

Hurt/Comfort Alphabet-König

Completely SFW

A= Alleviate (How do they go about relieving persistent physical pain?)

He’s a big ibuprofen paired with ice cream or warm compress kind of guy.

If its back pain he also loves it when you give him back rubs.

Especially because of your size difference he is able to lay on his stomach and you can easily just sit on his butt and go at it.

When he has more cold type symptoms like a sore throat, his go to is tea and honey. 

B= Bedridden (How do they behave when they’re sick?)

He is the suffer in silence type and won’t usually make a fuss about himself being sick.

But when you do cater to him, and coddle him a  bit when he is sick, he gets super happy.

But when you do this he also will not directly ask you for anything because he feels bad, but it’s pretty easy for you to figure out what he needs

C= Cling (Whose physical touch is considered most welcome in their minds when they are in need? Is there a specific type of touch they respond well to?)

He’s very open to arm and shoulder touches, at first he tenses up when you touch his shoulders and you always ask if he’s ok, and he assures you that he is.

Eventually he no longer tenses up.

D= Deathbed (How would they react if they realized they may not recover from their injuries?)

He would honestly think of you and his mom, and be thankful for the time he was able to spend with you two.

He would also be worried about  how his death would impact you and your life.

But his last thoughts would be of you, knowing that no heaven could match his time with you.

E= Emergency (What is their gut reaction when someone they care about is hurt?) 

Contrary to what people would think, his first instinct is to make sure that you are ok and taken care of.

He would first make sure that you are out of danger and the threat is nullified. 

Then his second priority would be taking care of the threat.

F= Fight (Are there circumstances under which they would not accept treatment or care? If so, what are they?)

He’s only human so I feel like there is a limit to what he’d be willing to go through.

If the doctor told him that his chance of recovery was very slim WITH a bunch of different and possible experimental treatments…

He would just not want to give you false hopes that he will one day get better.

Both selfishly and selflessly he would not want to go through a intense, aggressive treatment if the likelihood of recovery was low. Both because physically that would be terrible to go through of course, but also he wouldn't want you to see him deteriorate with a false hope.

G= Ghosts (How has their past shaped the kind of comfort they respond to best?)

Due to his history of being bullied and then the aggression he faced in the military he really responds to praises and words of affirmations. 

Even if they are very simple and casual they really touch his heart and make him feel warm inside. 

H= Home (What things (objects, sensations or people) remind them they’re safe after a scary situation?)

Your hand anywhere on him really comforts and grounds him.

Even though you are not the most physically imposing person he still feels very safe with you.

Because at least if you both feel unsafe, you will navigate the issue together, just knowing that he is not alone in it makes him very happy.

I= Isolation (How do they soothe themselves when no one is around to soothe them?)

He usually will sit or lay down and put something heavy on his chest and just try to focus on his breathing, trying to focus on how it feels and feeling the weight on his chest. 

J= Joy (When was the first time they were truly happy after going through something terrible?)

The two of you visited Austria and the two of you and his mom went to a park to have a picnic and he for the first time after the event felt so secure and happy.

He was with the two people he cared about most in the world and couldn’t get enough of the feeling.

K= Kindness (Do they believe they deserve the comfort they receive? Why or why not?)

Years of bullying have really made him feel like he does not deserve any of the comfort he gets.

But conversely he understands why he gets comfort/praise at his job because he is very competent and knows that. 

But he gets very used to the comfort and kindness you show him and values it very much.

L= Levity (What or who helps them take their mind off of the circumstances?)

Based on what I know about military personnel/veterans re-entering civilian society, I think this would be König’s main struggle to overcome.

He would need to get used to the slower paced and calmer domestic life and I think he would still be startled by loud noises/gunshots/fireworks at times, especially if he wasn’t expecting them.

Anyways 

Kind of a simple answer but I honestly think time would be one of the best healers for him 

The more time he spends at his civilian job and with you helps him get more comfortable.

Overall I think just being grounded in the moment helps his thoughts from running wild and reminiscing on the past.  

M= Music (Is there a song that comforts them? Why is it comforting to them?)

I know stereotypically I wanna say he is into German/Austrian rock but also I think that is the most logical answer

I feel like he might have grown up seeing older kids partake in the club scene in Europe, and might be familiar with that type of music.

I also don’t think he would be super picky when it comes to music, and would listen to whatever you put on.

I think he would eventually like more artists as you introduce him to more. 

N= Nostalgia (What things that comforted them as a kid still work today? Does anyone know that?)

Purely my opinion but I think the dark is very comforting to him.

In the dark he doesn’t have to be seen or perceived by anyone therefore no one is looking at him.

I think he finds security in the hidden aspect.

Also as a kid i think his room was his sanctuary in a way, away from his father mainly.

The dark is also very unstimulating and I think when he was working in the military he would be so stimulated throughout the day that it would be nice to sort of ‘turn everything off’ in the dark. 

And listen sometimes when you’re in a brightly lit, loud environment for a while you just need some time in the dark. 

O= Overworked (Who or what tells them to stop working and take care of themselves?)

Now that he isn’t in the military and in a much less stressful and high stakes job, he really doesn’t need this reminder often.

If he ever does get stressed I think you’d just need to tell him gently that it is not that serious and he would be able to chill out. 

P= Please (Have they ever begged for someone to comfort or stay with them? What was that incident like?)

When you first see him both maskless and shirtless at the same time he would be super nervous because of the copious amount of scars he has.

He would want to just stay with you the rest of the day, in each other’s arms. 

Q= Questions (Are they eager to talk about what or why they’re hurting? Why or why not?)

For sure not at first, he was raised with more traditional views/roles so it takes him a while to accept that he can have and express negative feelings other than anger.

Once he gets more comfortable though he gets better and better at articulating what is hurting him and why, and is better able to work towards solutions. 

R= Relief (How do they react to the realization that they will soon be fully recovered?)

Assuming that this pertains more to a physical injury I think like anyone he would feel better that he was going to feel normal again. And be able to do things as he normally did them before the injury. 

He would also reflect a lot on how much you helped him during this time and that makes him feel very loved. 

S= Scared (What would it take for them to admit that they’re scared?)

At the beginning of a relationship I think it would either take a very high amount of fear or lots of time for him to admit it. 

But as the relationship progresses he would be more comfortable accepting and admitting he was afraid. 

T= Time (How long does it take for them to feel better after an ordeal or illness? Do they tend to lie about how soon they feel better?) 

When it comes to physical illnesses or injuries I think he brushes them off pretty quickly since he is used to doing that because of work. 

You often need to remind him that he is no longer in a high stress, unstable environment therefore he can and should slow down and allow his body more time to heal.

An emotional/mental type wound would of course take longer to heal, and I do see him as the type of person to lie about if he was feeling better.

But you get pretty good at reading his moods, so even if he says he feels better and you can tell that he doesn't, you usually just do the same or similar things you do when he does admit to not feeling good.

I also peg him as also being able to read your mood very well (trauma induced hypersensitivity to others’ emotions) so I think he would catch on if you did this but would also be happy that you were not pushing him to talk about the issue and instead just offering him support until he was ready. 

U= Ugly (What part of their recovery process are they ashamed of, if any?)

I think after so many years of being treated like a giant strong man and having people constantly make comments about it, he would feel ashamed when either he physically was injured and had limits or mentally.

I think he would also feel embarrassed that he needed support from you, since in his eyes, he always wanted to be your safety net but now the roles were reversed.

Especially if it's an emotional type of issue, I think he was raised with pretty ‘traditional’ roles and it took him a while to accept that he could feel things and not feel ok and that that was just fine. 

V= Valiant (Has anyone told them they were brave for facing what they did? How would they react if someone did?)

Once he opens up to you about past bullying and other things that have happened in his past and you are nothing but supportive and sympathetic to what he went through…

Your reaction when he told you about the bullying was quite literally you telling him that you were proud of him and he was brave for what happened, I think he’d tense up a bit, not quite sure how to handle it.

He would probably even cry, especially if you two were in a private setting and would try to hold the tears in but you would coax them out of him eventually. 

W= Why? (How did they process what happened to them?)

I personally think that him volunteering for the armed forces was an act of rebellion against his dad as well as a way to get away from his home. I also think with his history of bullying he sort of saw the armed forces as a way for him to do something ‘right’ and even if he was still a victim of torment at least the other volunteers/recruits would be as well. 

I also think when he opens up more and more to you about it he would dismiss a lot of it and insist that it wasn’t really that bad. 

X= Xenas (Do they see anyone as an inspiration in their recovery? Does their inspiration know about this?)

For emotional and physical things I think that if you have had any issues he looks to you for inspiration.

Both because if someone as perfect and strong as you can get better and heal then so can he. As well he pictures a beautiful life together with you in the future, and uses that as motivation. 

Y= Yearn (What gesture, person or thing do they desperately want, but would never actually ask for?)

As much as he loves doing everything for you, he fucking loves being babied. 

Like I can imagine him bundled up in bed or on the couch sick as a dog, you with him, and frequently getting him meals, snacks, water, and gatorade. 

You tried to spoon feed him soup once and he insisted that was too much but secretly enjoyed it. 

Z= Zero (What is the best way to comfort them without touching them?) 

I think just knowing that you are there for him and available if he needs it would be the best comfort. 

For example if you are together in a parallel play type situation, where you are in the same room but doing two completely different things. 

Or if you were both at work, getting messages from you about benign or funny things, not necessarily about whatever he is going through, just your presence and open ears really comforts him.

A/N: well, it's been a minute. I'll be honest, I haven't been writing much, but I want to. so I thought I'd fill out some safe-for-work alphabets as well as some NSFW alphabets and honestly, it's pretty fun! it's helped me to characterize some of the characters I work with to my liking and even inspires some longer fic ideas.

but here we have Alma, who's actually been my number-one comfort character for a while now. I'm surprised I haven't written for her yet. but now I've got some ideas based on this, so we'll see what comes of it! A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

Alma isn't the most visibly affectionate, but that doesn't mean that she isn’t affectionate. She’s just more subtle about it. She doesn’t do anything very visible in front of the children, not because she’s ashamed of you or your relationship, but rather because she doesn’t want to deal with all of the giggling, gossip, and dramatics that’s sure to follow whenever the little ones see any form of PDA. And the children are well aware of your relationship status and view you as a second parental figure. Alma prefers to take your hand on walks and lean against your shoulder, kiss your knuckles or your cheek when the children and spend quality time together cooking dinner.

But when you get your alone time, she’s all over you. Quality time and physical touch are her preferred ways of feeling loved by you. If she’s reading with you in bed, she’d going to be leaning against you and she’d be quite clingy in her sleep.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

You’d initially be colleges, but you were also former students at the academy together. You probably weren't friends in your younger years, but you definitely knew each other well enough and got along amicably. When you were sent to assist in Alma’s loop, she would have had some trouble adjusting as the implication she needed help would be mildly insulting, but eventually, you grew on her and she’d come to enjoy your company, even seeking it out when she got a moment to herself while the children where occupied.

Your friendship again would be quiet, starting as simply enjoying being in the same space as one another, but it would slowly turn into a conversation, which blooms into a warm friendship.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Alma is quite touchy when you're alone. She loved curling up in bed with you after a long day of caring for the kids, and she’s quite fond of skin-to-skin contact. I imagine she also gets cold easily and loves curling up under thick blankets with her partner to keep warm. But don’t let the children see- they wouldn’t be able to stop talking about seeing their headmistress so soft for weeks!

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

Alma is quite fond of domesticity, given that her job is being a caregiver and raising the “young” of her species. She loves cooking and often makes quite extravagant meals, but isn’t the fondest of cleaning. But that’s alright! She can always ask you or one of the children to do that if she feels inclined. She loves her duties, but still values the time to herself to read the mail or catch up on a new book when she can.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

Alma would already be so particular about her partner, it’s hard to imagine she’d start a relationship with someone who she could see herself breaking up with. I think the only instance would be to protect you and/or her children. If she knows something is on its way to harm you, and sending you away is the only thing that will keep you safe, she knows breaking things off will be the only way you’ll leave the island.

She’d be gentle, but firm, and oh how it would hurt. It would hurt her the entire time, but she wouldn’t show it. Not till she knows you’re gone and she’s out of sight of prying eyes.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quickly would they want to get married?)

I don't think a formal ceremony or any kind of paperwork would be necessary as long as you promise that she’s yours and you're hers. I think she’d like a ring, but again, it wouldn’t be a priority. It would take some time though before she got to that point.

Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if one day she just started calling you her wife/husband/spouse without any kind of forewarning, as though that’s how she’d always referred to you. When asked why she’d shrug and just say that it felt right and she liked it

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Despite her rather quick, birdlike mannerisms, Alma is incredibly gentle, mostly because she works with children, but also because she cares. Gentleness is quite surprising, but the tenderness that comes with it is perfect. She holds you like your glass that will shatter at her touch, and you often have to remind her that you won’t break.

Emotionally, Alma puts up a good front, and for the most part, she’s quite tolerant. It takes a lot to hurt Alma, but when she is hurt, the recovery takes time. In that instant, she shuts down and throws herself into her work, ignoring any and all things that have wounded her.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

She loves hugs from her children, especially when the little ones wrap their arms wound her knees and squeeze as hard as they can. But her hugs with her kids and with you are two very different things. Hugs with the kids are soft and fun, often lifts them off the ground to make them laugh as much as she can.

But with you, hugs can be rarer and when you get one, they’re consuming and holding like she’s trying to make sure you’re all there. Often you have to squeeze her tighter, making sure she knows she’s got you and you aren't going to disappear from between her hands. You've found that resting your head on her shoulder and kissing her neck help relax her once more when she gets this way.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

Much like when she starts calling you her wife/husband/spouse, it's offhand and without warning, like she hasn’t thought about it. She doesn’t vocalize this kind of affection often, preferring to show rather than tell. But it’s so nice when she does say it.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

Alma doesn't think she’s the jealous type, because what does she have to be jealous about? She’s confident in her relationship and your loyalty to one another, after all. (right?) the Ymbryne would never admit it, not even to herself, but she is definitely the jealous type. Not because she thinks you’ll leave her for someone else, but because she worries she doesn’t give you as much as you deserve, and maybe she’d keeping you from someone who can do better than she can.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

Besides your lips, because we know she loves those, Alma loves kissing your forehead/hairline, your palm, and knuckles as well as your jaw, but that’s only when she knows no one’s looking.

On her, she loves when you give her quick kisses on the cheek before running off with the children, though she won't let you know that. But she also adores it when you kiss her fingertips and her collarbones during more intimate settings. She also loves when you kiss the bridge of her nose.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

Obviously, she’s good with kids. That’s her whole job after all. She’s rather strict, but she’s got that warm and soft part of her that’s actually quite closer to the surface than you might imagine. She keeps every little drawing or gift that the children give her, tucked away in your bedroom for safekeeping.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Alma’s definitely the early bird, which you love to tease her about. But when she has the time she loves staying in bed, wrapped up in warm sheets with you. She loves the sleepy look on your face when you wake up to her staring, again. And she loves it when you absently stretch out as you wake up, but cling to her skin. Lazy mornings, though thin and far between, are some of the most treasured memories that she has with you

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Alma loves ending her evenings with a nice warm bath (sometimes together), a cup of tea, and reading a good book. Sometimes, she reads out loud to you, mostly when either of you can't sleep. She often falls asleep after you. She likes watching your slow breathing for a moment before also nodding off.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

Like most other interactions, Alma reveals facts about herself seemingly out of nowhere, though it's still at relevant times. To you, it's a surprise, but to her, she’s been thinking about telling you and now just feels like the right time. At some point, you get used to her intermittent fun facts popping up in conversation, but it's quite a shock at first.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

She’s built up a really good tolerance for most things since she’s a mother, so she doesn't get mad very often. But she can get annoyed, which might as well be just as bad. You used to annoy her quite often when you first were getting to know each other (in reality she was growing to like you and she panicked, which caused her to purposely avoid you, which is something she also does when she’s annoyed, but she won't tell you that).

Over time she’s gotten much better at communication and telling her how you feel if she happens to get irritated with something. She’s quite surprised when you work to accommodate these feelings, which you tell her she shouldn't be, since that’s your job as partners, and you do the same with her if you're the one annoyed.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing or do they kind of forget everything?)

Alma remembers absolutely everything you tell her. She even goes as far as to write it all down in her diary. With every day being the same, any new bit of information is worth holding onto.

She left her diary open to a page dedicated to little tidbits all about you out on her stationary once when you were tidying her room (before you were officially anything) and when she walked in the room and caught you reading you were both quite embarrassed for different reasons. You thought she would be upset with you invading her privacy and reading the book, which you profusely apologized for, but she was worried you'd find it strange she had been writing down nearly everything she’d learned about you in the first place. She relaxed significantly when you sheepishly admitted you found it quite flattering.

Sometimes before bed, Alma reads through her diary. Not to remember or memorize, necessarily, but more to mull over the past and think of how much everyone in her little family has grown.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

Alma’s favorite memory of you diffidently hadn’t been her favorite at the moment, but she’d grown exceedingly fond of it nowadays.

It was shortly after you'd moved in, maybe three or four months give or take, and before the loop had been initially set. It was also before you'd really started getting to know one another, so you were still practically strangers. But by then the children already loved you and were all over you practically every hour of the day. Alma always worried you'd have enough of it and snap at one of the younger kids for their clingy behavior, but that never seemed to be the case.

She’d been walking through the house, making sure she had tabs on every child in case of any accident when she passed by the study. She first noticed that the thick velvet curtains had been opened up, letting in a warm afternoon light that basked over the couch. Further inspection found you basking on said couch with a book in hand and three children curled up in your lap. The twins had cuddled up together on the farther and by your feet, while Claire lie across your chest, snoring ever so softly with her head nuzzled right under your chin. As you flipped through your book, your free hand gently stroked through her curly blonde hair. Alma knew the girl loved this kind of tender affection, but she was always afraid that her second mouth would accidentally bite anyone who dare touch her hair, so she ignored the desire. Despite not giving the action your full attention, you were so mindful to keep away from the mouth, which was actively drooling as Claire slept.

It was the tenderness of the scene that made Alma realize her fondness for having you around. And while the admission had been only hers, she panicked, rushing to leave the view behind and busy herself with a new activity to push down whatever the fuzzy feeling in her chest might be.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Your wife is extremely protective of you and your children, just like any Peregrin would be with her nest. She demonstrates this when she leaves with Barron, no questions asked, or when her brothers “come into town”. You constantly scold her for her recklessness, almost calling her eager for danger. She scoffs at the notion, but deep down knows that you are right about it. A part of her craves danger, the thrill of adrenalin, but she tells herself that it's because she’d rather it be her you or the children.

Alma insists that she doesn't need you protecting her, but she does. Not physically, that is, but emotionally. You are her rock, whether she likes it or not, and it's you who will take on the “chore” of caring for her, as she would put it. But you don't mind. You tell her that you'd never mind if it's for her. She does her best to believe you, and over time she does.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, and everyday tasks?)

Special occasions like date night and anniversaries can be tricky since proper alone time can be challenging, and given the situation of the time loop, there's always the chance of forgetting what day it actually is. But that’s alright with both of you. You've come to enjoy stolen time together rather than grand gestures.

However, if you do have a date night or evening alone, it’s generally thanks to your older kids taking the littles out for an “adventure”. Alma insists that it’s embarrassing, but you've both grown quite fond of your evenings alone. It's definitely helped your relationship in the long run and the kids seem to enjoy going off on their own for a few hours. You like to think it makes them feel grown up for a while.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

She tried her best not to have many “bad habits” and if she did have any she wouldn’t admit it, but you know her worst habit is not verbalizing what she wants. She’ll go for a day not asking for a simple thing, then get frustrated when it doesn't happen. You try your best to get her talking, but she insists that she's fine. It could be as simple as wanting a chore done, or bigger, like asking for your presence or attention.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Despite only seeing the same people every day, Alma is very pristine when it comes to her appearance. You joke that it’s the bird part of her, always keen to preen both her hair and feathers. She scoffed at this idea but nevertheless, you insist on your theory. Alma says that she just likes things to be on schedule and the same.

However, she’s willing to let her hair down (literally and metaphorically) with you. She loves it when you help wash her hair or take the pins out for her. The feeling of your nails scratching at her scalp is exacerbating and does something to her every time.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Absolutely. While she has her children, you fill an extra space that she didn’t realize was empty till you filled it. Now, the thought of losing you would eat her alive and she wouldn’t know what to do with herself.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

Similar to when you own a pet, you find feathers stuck almost everywhere. Mostly they’re little fuzzy ones that stick to your clothes or sheets, but sometimes you find them in your hair or sticking out of your pillows. It's not because Alma turns into a bird or anything in her sleep, but sometimes she has leftover baby feathers from when she does transform that she forgets to preen, as she likes to say.

This also sometimes happens when she dreams. She’ll go to sleep featherless, but wake up from a dream with baby feathers sprouting from her hairline and along her shoulder blades. She detests it and generally has a “grumpy morning” as the children like to whisper, but you find it charming and always offer to help her pluck and preen the spots she can't reach.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

She can't stand it when the children try asking one parent a question only to ask the other the same thing when they don't get the answer they want. She knows if she tells a child no, they’ll go right to you with no hesitation in hopes of a yes. And it isn’t your fault, but you don't notice this game they play and will give them the answer they want with the right kind of begging. It makes her quite cross to learn that her kids would stoop that low. You all know that you can’t say no to their sweet faces.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habit of theirs?)

Rather than just lying under a blanket, Alma loves to be completely wrapped up in your sheets, almost like a cocoon. The night doesn't start out that way, but when you wake up together you are almost always tangled and covered up, unable to see your room til you find your way out of the nest of blankets youve been stuffed into.

Those three are definitely super fun!! Especially Mars; he's a little gremlin sometimes. He loves to tease Jacky and Sunni, and you'll figure out the reason why by the end of this story lmao.

I don't usually whump these three -- I usually just use them for cute and funny bits in the background -- but that just makes the moments where I do whump them hit even better. So, here we go.

It was a normal day for Jacky, who was humming along to a song that was quietly playing over the speakers. A sigh escaped her as she finished wiping down the counter, and she took a step back. Pushing up her glasses by the bridge, she looked up at the seating area.

There were only a few other people here at the time, and Sunni had just gotten back into the kitchen after handing an older gentleman his usual order. It never really got busy here -- this place had never really gotten popular -- but she couldn't help the feeling of pride that warmed her heart. This was her place; her child, even, and she loved it as such.

She also felt a bit of pride towards Sunni and Mars too, though especially so for Sunni. They had known each other for years now; she was the first person Jacky hired on. It couldn't of have been an easy choice for her to make (even though she was the one who made the offer to help), and Jacky never fully understood why this beautiful dork of a blonde stuck around, especially when she clearly had an interest and amazing potential in pursuing other careers like fashion and design, but she was forever grateful for her help and support nonetheless.

Besides, there was something special about her presence that made it really fun and easy to hang out with her. She was an amazing friend. Sweet, kind, supportive, compassionate...

The jingle of bells rung through the air as the door opened, pulling Jacky back out of her thoughts.

"Hello! Welcome t--"

The words were choked short in her throat as she was met with the barrel of a pistol. Slowly and cautiously, she raised her trembling hands.

"Open the register."

Her eyes flicked up to the masked figure. They were wearing all black, and fixed her with a stern stare.

Everything had suddenly gone deathly silent, save for her quickening breath and the song that didn't seem to match the mood anymore.

She nodded her head towards a jar on the counter, "There's the tip jar if you--"

"Now!"

Two pairs of footsteps came running out from the back; both abruptly coming to a halt somewhere out of Jacky's line of sight.

"What the hell is going o--"

"Shit--"

Shit.

Jacky glanced towards their direction, "Mars, Sunni," She spoke carefully and clearly, "Stay back. Keep your hands up. No sudden movements." She's dealt with a theif or two in the past, but this was the first time any of them had been held at gunpoint. She looked back to the person in front of her, daring a glare, "Don't hurt them."

"Do as I say, and nobody gets hurt." They shot a warning glare to the other two.

Swallowing back the bile creeping up her throat, she gave the slightest of a nod, "Ok. Deal. I'm going to open--"

"You're seriously going to just let them take everything without a fight?! I bet that's not even a real g--"

"MARS!!" Jacky and Sunni both sho--

BANG

Jacky flinched when the gun moved to aim towards the others. A couple patrons screamed, the sounds nearly drowned out by the noise.

Holy shit-- Holy shit-- Please be ok-- Please let them be--

"Fucking-- Mars!! Are you ok?!"

"Y-yeah... I-- I'm--... It didn't-- I wasn't, hit."

Jacky let out a breath she didn't know she was holding. Though that relief was short lived, as the gun was aimed right back at her once more.

"Take that as your only warning." Their cold glare was more than enough proof for Jacky to understand that they meant it, "Register. NOW!"

"Ok! Alright! Sorry!" Jacky carefully, yet quickly moved to press the buttons needed to unlock the register. The drawer popped open with a ding, and she flinched as the gun moved again. This time it lowered down to the counter, as the criminal hoisted themself over. She stepped back, attempting to stay out of their way.

"Here, just take it all and lea--" Apparently she wasn't out of of the way enough for them, as they grabbed her shoulder and shoved her to the side.

She fell from the force, unable to catch herself before her head smacked face first into the tiled floor below.

Jacky lifted herself slightly, immediately noticing the stark contrast of red against white; glistening blood dripping down onto the glossy surface beneath her. Turning her head, she looked back at at the person, who was quickly shoveling everything into a bag. A low groan escaped from her throat as she screwed her eyes shut and lowered her head back down.

As soon as the criminal made their exit, the place seemed to come back to life once more.

Sunni was kneeling next to Jacky in an instant, "Holy shit-- Holy shit-- Jacky!! Are you ok?! Shit your nose is bleeding-- here!"

Jacky looked up to find a handful of tissues getting shoved into her face. Smiling, she took them with a quiet, "Thank you." She held them up against her nose as she pinched it shut and tilted her head forward. "Are you ok?" She asked, placing a hand on the other's knee.

"Are you ok?" She retorted.

Jacky couldn't help but to chuckle over the insistent concern, "I'm ok. I'm fine." She winced as she pushed herself off the floor to sit up, "Ah! Ow-- My nose hurts though. I think I might've-- ah-- ...I might've broken it."

Glancing up, she noticed that a couple patrons had come over to check on them, "I'm fine, guys. Sorry about all of that. But if it's alright, can you all stick around for a bit? Just until the police get here so that you can--"

"Oh shit-- we should-- I'm gonna call the cops." Jacky looked over at Mars, who had pulled out his phone and was already dialing 911.

"Ok. Good. Alright..."

"Hello? Yeah, we just had a robbery over at..." The conversation quickly became muffled as he stepped into the back.

Jacky's attention snapped back to Sunni as she suddenly pulled her into a tight hug. Jacky stiffened, then quickly returned the embrace, allowing some of the tension in her body to melt away as she hid down into her shoulder.

After taking a few moments to soak in the comfort, Jacky lifted her head, frowning slightly, "Ah shit, I'm getting your sleeve all bloody." She felt a hand on the back of her head, gently guiding it back down to her friend's shoulder.

"Shush. It's literally just a shirt you fucking goof. I'm just glad you're ok."

She glanced up at Sunni, "You and Mars are ok too, right?"

Sunni nodded, "Yes, we're fine." Jacky felt her hands start to clutch at the back of her shirt, "Though I swear to god, Mars--"

"Shhhh, it's fine, we'll deal with him later. I'm just glad you guys are ok." She nuzzled down into the crook of her friend's neck.

She sighed, shoulders dropping, "I'm glad you're ok too." Jacky heard a small sniffle by her ear, "I just--... I don't know what I'd do if you-- if they--..." She didn't-- couldn't-- finish that sentence, instead drawing in a quivering breath, and hiding away into her shoulder.

Jacky started rubbing circles on her back, hugging her tighter, "It's ok, I'm ok. I'm here. We're here. We're ok. I'm not going anywhere." The reassurances continued for a few minutes, before Sunni lifted her head again with a snotty sounding sniff.

"Hey Jacky...? Can I tell you something?"

She lifted her head just enough to be able to look up at her, "Hm? Yeah, what is it?"

There was a long moment of silence...

Hesitation...

Anticipation...

Uncertainty...

"...Nevermind. Sorry."

Jacky's brow furrowed, but she decided not to pry, "Hm. Alright then."

A few more moments passed, before Sunni suddenly jolted a little bit, "Oh! Your glasses fell off when he pushed you, by the way! Here!"

Jacky laughed a little, "Oh, thanks! I didn't even notice that!"

Sunni smiled, soft and warm, "Of course! Here, let me get these back on for you real quick..."

Jacky didn't protest as Sunni carefully slid the glasses back into place. A stray piece of hair escaped Jacky's ponytail and fell into her face, and Sunni carefully tucked it back away behind her ear. Her hand lingered there for a moment, before she just shook her head and pulled her back in again.

As Sunni shoved her face into the crook of her neck, Jacky heard her whisper something under her breath. It was too quiet to know for sure, but she could've sworn that she heard three small words...

"I love you."

Hey there! This is for my fellow Bruce Banner lovelies.

A/N: Tbh this is a repost. I got sad because for some reason it wasn't showing up under the tags :/ Anyway I hope you enjoy and I plan to do Bucky's next :)

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

Bruce definitely isn’t down with super intimate PDA. The thought of drawing attention to himself in public makes him nervous, so when around others he prefers to keep things simple. He’ll almost always be holding your hand, especially when in large crowds. In private, however, Bruce is never one to shy away from affection.

I would definitely say that his love language is acts of service. He is constantly doing little things for you throughout the day, such as making you coffee when you seem tired, or running your towel through the dryer for when you get out of the shower. He also is never opposed to a good cuddle sesh. 

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

What Bruce looks for most in a friend in normalcy and understanding. There’s nothing that makes him feel more insecure than when those around him act as if they are walking on eggshells. He hates the thought of making others feel afraid, and when with those he is closest to he would prefer to be able to forget about the Hulk, even if just for a moment. 

The friendship would probably begin with some sort of common interest/ activity. Maybe you are a fellow avenger or simply just a lab assistant working in the tower. Bruce isn’t one to go out of his way to socialize, so you’d probably approach him first. Honestly, all this man wants is some respect, and to see someone who treats him as if he isn’t some sort of ticking time bomb. 

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Before meeting you, Bruce was never one to go out of his way to receive or give any sort of physical touch. It was something he had deprived himself of ever since the initial accident, and the thought of somehow hurting someone he loved made him genuinely sick to his stomach. 

When you began to initiate it, however, it was as if some sort of switch flipped. Bruce realized how starved he was for your touch, and now its as of he craves it. He genuinely melts whenever you run your fingers through his hair, or snuggle into his side after a long day. There is nothing else that makes him feel more loved, and more human. So, yes my boy Bruce loves a good cuddle session. (whether that be a as the big or little spoon) 

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

Bruce is the male-wife of our dreams. Genuinely this man wants nothing more than to make a home with you; a safe place where he can spend the rest of his life. Even in the tower he takes on a more “homemaking” role. He is an excellent cook and baker, who is constantly trying out new recipes on date nights. 

Kids, on the other hand, are a more sensitive subject. He wants to be a father; he wants to be able to have a family with you. When I say this man wants it, I mean he yearns for it. After his experiences as a child, however, he can’t help but be apprehensive. He is absolutely terrified of being a terrible father, but he knows deep down that he would never ever be able to hurt hs family the way his own father had. 

In addition to that, he also infertile due to the radiation. He oftentimes gets pretty insecure about it; wishing he could provide you with a biological child. You reassure him, however, that you don’t want kids unless you are raising them with him, and that there are plenty of other options you can use to become parents <3 

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

He would leave for your safety. It would be abrupt, as to not elongate your suffering. He would tell you face to face with tears in his eyes, before picking up his things and leaving without a trace. 

Bruce wouldn’t be able to live with himself if he truly thought he was putting you in harms way. So, you would probably never see him again, mostly out of his own fear that he wouldn’t be able to stay away if he did. He’d spend the rest of his life wishing he could’ve had you, and that he could’ve kept you safe. 

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

As I previously mentioned, Bruce loves the idea of having a somewhat “traditional” and loving family. He would 1000% want to make you his wife, but with his own insecurities surrounding the Hulk he would definitely wait a while. He isn’t the kind of guy to rush into things, but if he were completely honest, he would say that he wanted to marry you much sooner. 

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

When I say that Bruce is gentle, I mean gentle. I think this man would go into a state of pure guilt if he ever caused you some sort of physical or emotional harm. His words are always sweet and honest, and he absolutely never raises his voice. (A practice you repeat to him in return.) He is the kind of guy, to softly say your name when he walks into the room as to not scare you. 

His touches are always very light and tender. He will oftentimes ask if he is squeezing you too tight, or if you’re uncomfortable. He loves holding you, and he loves being held in return. Everything he says and does is done with gentleness, especially when it comes to moments when he is comforting you. When you feel down or if you get hurt on a mission, I swear this man goes into caregiver mode asap. I’m talking constant check ins, bringing you snacks, extended cuddle sessions and so much more.  

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

Although Bruce isn’t one for PDA, he is known to give you a quick peck on the cheek while out running errands or with friends. When alone, however, he is much more generous. In more simple (and less heated) moments he is prone to forehead and/or temple kisses. During make-out seshes, on the other hand… Let’s just say this man knows how to use his tongue. He holds your body close to his own, his calloused hands gripping your waist, or cupping your cheek. There’s never really any biting or teeth involved. Like I said earlier, everything Bruce does has a certain level of gentleness to it. 

As for his preferences, I think Bruce would be one for cheek kisses. He likes the simplicity and the intimacy of them. There’s nothing that makes him feel more loved, than when you waltz into the lab to tell him something and give him a quick peck on the cheek; leaving his cheeks bright red in your wake. (Tony teases him mercilessly about it lmfao)

L - Little Ones (How are they around kids?)

Bruce is an absolute angel around kids. He loves talking with them; sitting in amazement as he takes in all of the ways in which they experience the world. He loves to teach them things, to admire their innocence. 

When Morgan was born Bruce took to the role of “uncle” immediately. Spoiling her rotten, taking her museums, indulging in tea parties. He wanted to give her everything he never got as a kid. Besides, it’s good practice for the future ;)

M - Morning (What are mornings like with them?)

My man Bruce is most definitely a night owl, so let’s just say mornings aren’t exactly his forte. So, most of the time he uses every ounce of energy he has to attempt to keep you in bed as long as possible. Every time you try to get up, he will just make his grip tighter, until eventually you just give in and spend the rest of the morning cuddled under bedsheets. 

N - Nights (How are nights spent with them?)

Bruce is not exactly skilled when it comes to keeping track of time in the lab. So, most nights you find yourself having to remind him to come to bed, his eyes weary from hours staring at screens and calculations. Before you came around he didn't even have a sleep schedule, he just worked until he fell out from exhaustion. Now, however, he wants nothing more than to fall asleep beside you, so his schedule has vastly changed. 

He likes to be touching you in some form when sleeping. His favorite position is when your arms are wrapped around his waist with your head buried in his chest. Having you there keeps him grounded. So, when the inevitable night terrors do come, he wakes up knowing everything’s okay. 

O - Open (When do they open up about themselves?)

I feel like Bruce is definitely a more private person. He already feels a bit inferior to his coworkers/friends and in his mind piling on a sob story would just make things worse. So, instead, he just bottles it all up inside until eventually he can’t hold it in anymore. He has been through a lot in his life, so much that you didn’t even know about until you found him sitting in his lab with tears streaming down his face. It was then that he opened up, after he grew to feel so incredibly overwhelmed. You sat upon his desk, with him standing between your legs wrapped in your arms. 

Over time he’s learn to come to you more often. When he’s had a rough day and finds himself in bed with his head resting on your chest. He’s learned to share his emotions with you, and it takes a huge weight off of his shoulders. 

P - Patience (How easily angered are they?)

Due to Bruce’s intense level of emotional control he is extremely patient. His voice will never raise, and he certainly would never do anything to hurt you emotionally or physically.  He grew up in a household where his father was constantly in a state of rage and his mother took the brunt of it all. So, when it comes to his own relationship you will often find that he is too passive, to the point where he won’t voice his own opinions just to avoid an argument. With time you both begin to value open communication. If there is an argument it is always calm, due to the fact that you know the other means well. 

Q - Quizzes (How much do they remember about you?)

Bruce is observant as hell. He is the type to constantly be taking mental notes of your routine, people you mention, things you like etc. When it comes to being a good listener Bruce reigns supreme, and combining that with his superior memory he remembers everything pretty well. 

If he ever catches you staring at something you like in the store, he oftentimes will go back to buy it for you. If you mention your favorite food, he will go out of his way to find the best recipe and make it for you. My boy just wants you to feel loved. 

R - Remember (Favorite memory with you?)

The morning after you first said the L-word. It had been an ordinary night-in; nothing extraordinary, but you said it anyway. Bruce could tell you meant it, the sincerity of it all bringing tears to his eyes. 

While that moment may be another one of his favorites, the morning after still takes the cake. There was something about having you snuggled up next to him, the morning sun peaking through the window, illuminating your sleeping form. You loved him, just as much as he had loved you for months now. He felt secure knowing that this wouldn’t be the last morning he would have you by his side. This was a forever type of thing, and he promised himself he would never let you go. 

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Bruce is definitely protective. At first his main priority was keeping you safe from the Hulk; ensuring that you wouldn’t be victim to his destruction. Now, however, after a long period of self-reflection it became apparent that the Big Guy wasn’t a threat to you. In fact, he was obsessed with you. 

Now, whenever you’re in a risky situation or around people Bruce doesn’t trust, he uses the Hulk as a scare tactic. All he has to do is keep you close to his side, flash his adversaries a green-eyed stare and watch them stumble away in fear. This is part of the reason Bruce has grown to appreciate his other half. He knows he can protect you; he can keep you safe from anything and everything.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

Words cannot describe how thankful Bruce is that you love him. It’s a decision he vows to never make you regret, and so let’s just say he treats you like a fucking princess. 

As I stated earlier, one of Bruce’s most prevalent love languages is acts of service. He is constantly doing little things for you, such as cooking you homemade meals after missions. In his lab, he keeps a little couch in the corner just for you, with snacks and books and soft blankets. This man just adores you okay?!

His gifts and dates are always super meaningful for big occasions, such as anniversaries or birthdays etc. Even on the most random days he will show up with some little thing you mentioned in blithe conversation, or he will set up a candle-lit dinner for the both of you to share. 

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

Overworking for sure. He puts a lot of pressure on himself to succeed in his work, whether that be in the lab or out on missions. He works himself until he can’t physically work anymore. He still manages to find time to do things for you in the midst of it all, but oftentimes that means he is putting in even more effort and energy than humanly possible. He exhausts himself, and there have been more than a few occasions where you come in to pick up the pieces. 

I think Bruce would also be a pretty insecure guy. I mean, he is constantly surrounded by billionaires, super-soldiers, and literal Nordic gods for fuck sake. He often feels a bit inferior, and adding Hulk to the equation certainly doesn’t make things any better. So, he will oftentimes make demeaning comments about himself, or shy away from public activities with is teammates. 

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Bruce likes to dress nice, but comfortable. While his hair may be a bit unruly at times, he likes to be clean-shaven and clean in general lol. It makes him feel more human, especially since his work requires him to be in less-than-flattering situations. He definitely isn’t vain, but he cares about his own basic upkeep. 

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Yes. You’ve become Bruce’s refuge; a safe place away from everything life has thrown his way. When the accident first happened and Bruce was forced to go on the run, he has resigned himself to a life of pain and isolation. He never thought he would be able to reenter society again, let alone find love. He doesn’t want to go back into that dark place again. He loves being loved. More specifically, he loves being loved by you. 

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

Bruce is always the one to look after you after missions. Once arriving home you get a full-scale check-up in his lab, on your own personal exam table. While yes, there is in fact an entire medical wing you could go to; Bruce doesn’t trust it. He has to make sure you’re safe and healthy before he can finally breathe again. 

Also, Bruce gets really upset when you cry. He is super attentive when it comes to your emotions, and he will genuinely drop anything to be with you. When he sees you upset its like his little genius heart shatters. If you were ever seriously struggling emotionally or with your mental health in general, he would be the most supportive, patient and wonderful boyfriend in the entire fucking world. He knows what it's like to feel low, and he would do anything in his power to help you not feel that way. 

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

Rudeness in general. If you gave off a cold or unkind nature Bruce would be completely turned off. Enemies to lovers is not an option for him. If he sees you being rude to service workers, or making genuinely mean-hearted comments about his friends, he wouldn’t ever consider a romantic relationship with you. He sees enough of that bullshit on a day-to-day basis for his liking; he needs someone soft and kind to make up for that. 

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)

Hulk transformations take an immense toll on Bruce’s body. So, when he gets home from a mission, he feels as if he is on the brink of passing out from exhaustion. He can barely stay awake as he showers and gets the both of you checked over for injuries. Afterwards, he passes out on your bed, completely snuggled up, your arms wrapped around him tightly. He can stay like this for a full day if need be, sound asleep and safe with you beside him. After going through that all Bruce wants is to feel safe, small and human. And the best way to do that is to have you hold him close until he falls asleep.

every time i consume media from/about another culture i wanna learn the language so damn bad

as if japanese isn't already enough to handle :')

#i consider japanese my second language bc it's the only one i've on several occasions actually spoken with native speakers comfortably #but i'm still learning and don't really wanna divide my time too much #in the past i've taken mandarin spanish latin and italian and i was pretty good at norwegian but i'm focusing 100% on jpn rn #anyway the language this time is russian. very neat language but i don't know if i have it in me to learn yet *another* alphabet #(after hiragana katakana and kanji i think i'm out of brain storage) #anyway had a friend growing up who was russian and i always liked listening to her parents speak it #currently reading a book that takes place in medieval russia that's why i was looking into it again lol
