It’s been a second, but I wanted to talk (mild vent up ahead)

How do other lesbians handle receiving male attention? Because I can only respond with fear and it makes me sick. The only people who have ever expressed attraction to me are men, or women who have just objectified and sexualized me even more, and it makes me feel disgusted with myself.

Just today a man I’d never met before stopped me while I was just trying to get to class and asked me for my number and I’ve felt horrible all day, because if it was a woman I’d find it charming. But because it’s a man I can’t help being afraid and feeling so small and worried about how long I had his attention for. Had he been watching me? Has he seen me before? Life update - Oct 30

Hello lovelies! I wanted to give a life update because I kinda dipped out

So, college is rough. I had a rough semester last spring and I am once again this fall, which is disheartening. The thing is I’ve realized my true passion and career goal doesn’t have a degree and picking a degree as a backup plan isn’t working. But, fortunately, I have a plan and I’m working with my college councilors to help me out.

I also got an adhd diagnosis over the summer and then an unofficial autism “diagnosis” from a therapist, which is good but also a rollercoaster. I’ve been adjusting to new meds for the past few weeks which sucks, but I think they’re helping.

I miss writing for you guys and for myself. It’s hard to find the time or the energy, but I hope to keep your interest.

I'm good! thank you for asking! I've settled back into my college routine which is good and it's been awesome reconnecting with my friends after the summer. I start my classes tomorrow, which isn't my favorite thing, but it'll be good to get into a routine again and get back on track!
