[Amnesiac Omori AU]
Grown up Omori concepts! My idea for the final chapter of the fic for this AU is that it's an epilogue that takes place ten years in the future (so he's ~22 years old in this pic), so it's got me thinking about what Omori's like when he's older
Notes:
He dyed his hair partially white to honor his past self and to signify how he's accepted his past as part of himself
He's aroace! Never ends up settling down with anyone and is perfectly happy and content about it <3
Not depicted here but for his career I imagine he goes into computer programming!
I'm thinking he maybe becomes roommates with Andrew, no matter what though him and Andrew remain very close
The main conflict for the epilogue's story is that Omori develops a tendency to overwork himself, which is something his friends help him deal with

do you have any fushiita aus? or headcanons that youre fond of for them?
yes actually! i have an arranged marriage fushiita au sitting in my google docs set in a taisho-inspired era (inspired loosely by my happy marriage for anyone familiar with that series)
but im kinda... waiting on gege to answer some of my questions in regards to jjk worldbuilding (and even just...character origins cough kenjaku cough sukuna cough YUUJI) so its on the backburner (gege is never answering any of my questions)
as for headcanons i only have a few (all set in canon):
i like to imagine megumi isnt a very good cook-- hes alright if he has a recipe to follow or someone to guide him and he can probably make basic meals but ask him to make something on the spot and he'd bluescreen for a bit
i think yuuji isn't actually an extrovert, but an ambivert/social introvert. i don't think he actually gains that much energy from socializing around people, but he does enjoy doing it if that makes sense? i think after all that he does enjoy some social unwinding but its not as dramatic as megumi
this isnt really a hc but this tweet i made . also to describe what i mean watch this tiktok
this exchange with my friend

NO CAUSE LITERALLY HELIA IS ANYTHING BUT THE POET
I know it would be really easy to assume that Helia is a poet, most obviously due to him actually being a literal poet and yknow. writing poems. Add on that he is genuinely good with his words and it's like! Duh! BUT NO!! A huge part of his character is that he wants to be the poet but he isn't. Helia acts like a poet. He makes a great first impression, he watches people carefully and responds in whatever way will move the situation best, he can be bitterly truthful and secretive all at once. But while that is still part of him, it's also so, so small in comparison to how he feels inside and how he actually acts.
While I have pondered Helia being the soldier, I gravitate much more toward the King. The king archetype is all about the responsibility that you don't want, that you don't deserve, but still feeling so loyal to it that you can't get away. No matter what they truly want in life, the kings will always go back to that responsibility because it's become them, and leaving literally feels like part of them is gone. They believe they have an intense duty to that responsibility and that leaving would make them the worst person in the world. And like,,, anyone with Helia Brain knows that this is him!! It's everything he feels about Red Fountain!!
Being the poet is all about embracing freedom and that's the one thing Helia refuses to do. He can't do it. He feels so intensely loyal to Red Fountain, and now to his friends, that any other option feels like betrayal to him. His own freedom feels like a betrayal. And that's just such a sad king move,,,

I bless you with angsts and fluff
First emotional termoil
Byakuya isolating himself right after shuichi was born because he’s scared of hurting him, not holding him or being alone in the room with him
Not a a asshole dad way but in a, all I remember is my father hurting me and my mom and everyone he was around and my son doesn’t deserve that, even though byakuya never wants to hurt shuichi
Now fluff
After a few weeks of this
It’s the middle of the night and newborn baby shuichi is crying and this is like the fifth time and it’s only like 1:30am and byakuya knows that makoto and kyoko are exhausted also they barely move at the crying
So taking a moment to collect himself and build up his courage he gets up and makes his way to shuichi nursery
He hesitated before walking through the door way and walks to shuichi crib and looks at him
Shuichi is screaming and crying but looks at byakuya and just makes grabby hands
Byakuya never wanted his father
But shuichi did, shuichi wanted to grab him and have his comfort
So byakuya picks him up and rocks him ever so slightly, he’s scared of hurting him or not holding him right
He was never going to let shuichi hurt like he did
Makoto and kyoko wake up in the morning with byakuya gone and they run to shuichi a nursery to see byakuya sitting and asleep in the rocking chair(and antique from makotos family he was able to recover from a storage unit) with shuichi sleeping completely soundly for the first time on his chest/shoulder
oooooooo sobbing weeping and sobbing some more
While I do think Kirigiri would do something similar (which is a story for another time since this post isn't about her lol) both the reason and the complete juxtaposition to what he grows to become hurts in such a hurt comfort way oh my goodness.
ALso this just. this kinda encapsulates my take on their dynamic so well and good GOLLY I'm feeling so LOUDLY
also ALSO Togami having no idea what hes doing but somehow not messing up is an absolute king move.
Imagine Shuichi is told about this when he's older and just. refuses to believe it's true. youre telling him his dad aka mr "freaked himself out so hard he passed out for a few minutes when shuichi broke his leg once" was scared of being around him? balderdash

classpecting the iasip gang because i have nothing better to do with my life
-dennis : prince of heart (derse)
put up a facade of a calculating mastermind but is actually the dumbest man alive who cant express affection without two hundred layers of irony and violence.
-dee : page of light (prospit)
narrative's favorite butt monkey. oftentimes deemed as irrelevant and claws her way to relevance and luck no matter what and fails very very, often. actually the most reckless member of the gang.
-charlie : bard of time (derse)
the wildcard. musical genius. intelligence level correlate to what the episode needs. neglected and abused but refuse to accept it even happens to him by escaping into substance abuse and passivity. surrounded w/ filth, death and decay.
-mac : maid of hope (derse)
his faith in religion and hope that his parents care about him in some way allows him to survive to adulthood but it also sets him back as a person because he was blinded by his own convictions and internalized homophobia. he's also gullible.
-frank : thief of space (prospit)
the sleazy businessman who fund the gang's schemes. inadvertently stuns the twins capability for personal growth and chance to have a new beginning outside of their dysfunctional upbringing by being an absent parent but coming back to them when theyre adults. struggles with feelings of stagnation and unfulfillment. egg motifs.

I was listening to the Davy Jones song, and I thought of Davy Jones + Calypso applying to Pocho. Aside from the sea part I guess?
"What vexes all women?"
"A man. She fell in love."
"No no no- I heard it was the wind she fell in love with?"
"Same story, different versions. And all are true."
"It was a man, who was as changing, and harsh, and untamable as the wind."
Idk why I'm posting this before bed. But I felt like it.
