Draken and you hung out every once in a while, even with that, you still hadn’t met Mikey in any one of those instances.

Much to your luck, Draken always told you.. but you were still super curious to meet the so called “invincible Mikey” never really getting to see him even if you lived around those parts.

After convincing him to let you meet him, you finally met the so called “Invincible Mikey” much to your surprise he was much more friendly.

ぞ | hmmm, TAKEMICHI would have the ability to see glimpses of the near future. if he were the protag of bnha, his story would be that he wasted the potential of his extremely useful quirk by choosing to live a plain, ordinary life without aspiring to become a hero. then something absolutely terrible happens, but he gets the opportunity to turn things around for himself and for everyone else, if he goes back in time and claims the rank of top hero and saves the world. op music starts playing and takemichi starts his hero's journey ☆☆☆

ぞ | MIKEY would have the ability to put people to sleep. not just sleep, actually, his quirk enables him to turn people's systems off and render them comatose. if we're talking side effects, he's just sleepy ♡♡ and falls asleep real quick when he gets tired. he's quiet, a little shady but also very sweet, and whether as a hero or a villain, he'd be super powerful and useful <33

ぞ | i'll do DRAKEN a favour and let him have his motorcycle body. he's a cyborg. like genos from one punch man !! he has to get his prosthetic limbs removed and maintained regularly, and needs oil changes LMAO. imagine being the mechanic that takes care of him though <33 or the scientist that creates new body parts and weapons for him.

ぞ | BAJI is like Four Arms from Ben 10 SKHFHKH, he's big and muscley and has four arms. the perfect person to turn to, when you need a good sukuna cosplay. by the time he graduates hero school, he stands at 6'10" ♡♡ and so popular with everyone. holds fan events and meets, is super fun and friendly, good with kids — and he never turns down those calls asking for help bec a cat got stuck in a tree and needs saving LMAO

ぞ | ok ok KAZUTORA would have blood iron manipulation. realistically, your blood doesnt have THAT much iron so this is leaning towards the fictional side — but yeah, he can control your blood (maybe the flow of it out of your body, after a slash?) via the iron in your blood cells. he would be a hero turned villain <33

ぞ | MITSUYA definitely works in the rescue division. he has restoration abilities. i'm not calling it regeneration because it doesnt work on living creatures or people. it works on non living formations and structures, like stone and all. he's one of the front liners of the rescue teams. they locate people trapped under fallen buildings and such, and then mitsuya carefully restores walls and pillars, fixes cracks in the ground, and creates a safe path to reach the people from. he's also really pretty, a good leader, and skilled at providing guidance and reassurance, so everyone has a lil crush on him <33

ぞ | PAH-CHIN would have super strength. he's a lil like sakura from naruto (are there other sakuras? bec i dont know lol) and he would work in rescue, too, but in the opposite way that mitsuya does, i guess. he breaks down obstructing structures like walls and rubble, and paves way towards the people in need of saving.

ok that's takemichi + the toman ot6 but let me think of some more.

ぞ | of course KISAKI has an intelligence quirk. his ability allows him to make foolproof, precise plans that lead him straight to his goal— the catch being that they're only arranged according to his heart's desire. every step of his vision has to be followed out thoroughly to completion, to reach the end goal. however, some steps are incredibly self indulgent (step four: kill takemichi. LMAO) therefore, he's a loner at work, and more of an anti hero type. he does what he wants, how he wants, by himself. unless he met someone that was fine with doing things all his way <3

ぞ | HANMA can speak to the dead. if you come to him with enough grief and longing in your heart, for someone that's dead, he can summon their soul by channeling the power of your longing, and bring their spirit back to the edge of life for a short period of time. he would be a villain with a tragic backstory that's only revealed much later — and he works as the recruiter for his organization, by scouting people with useful quirks that have lost loved ones. "hey kid, if you do this for me and my boss, i'll let you see your sister one last time." that typa beat.

ぞ | i feel like SANZU would have some sort of energy absorption quirk. he absorbs fear. growing up, he was timid and more afraid of others than others were afraid of him, so his quirk was kept in check. however, once he joined the villains' side, he became ruthless — his gruesome murders, skilled escapes and endless number of successful heists make him his organization's beloved poster boy (which honestly only helps people to recognize and therefore fear him even more u_u).

ぞ | SENJU has a camouflage quirk. she's able to change her body to match the colours of whatever she places both her hands against — and therefore, she's part of almost every stealth mission the heroes carry out. she's leader of her division, and gets invited to a lot of workshops and expos — she's got a million fans, and the bnha universe twitter is full of senju stan accounts i just know it !!

ぞ | KOKONOI has charmspeak. it fits him really well — he's an excellent talker, silver tongued to begin with, so when he applies his quirk and slides in, he's able to coax information out of anyone he wants, and get his way no matter what the circumstances. he would've considered being a hero as a kid, but then he gets strung into a villain organization, where he decides to stay.

ぞ | if i mention koko i must mention INUI, who has a shielding ability. he's able to reflect the effect of quirks off him to some extent, giving him some level of immunity to quirk based attacks — and he uses this alongside physical shields provided to him by the hero association's weapon devs, to be both a physical and a mental shield to himself and any one he partners up with.

WITH THE WHOLE AKANE THING i think a lot of people r quick to hate bc of what she said to koko abt "oh ill wait for you " or smth which i can kind of understand because there honestly wasnt a whole lot of detail/scenes w her to rlly know their dynamic, yk? i mean on a surface level it definitely comes off as creepy, but honestly like you said, what was she supposed to do in that situation ? sure, she didnt rlly handle it correctly, but shes kind of sweet girl that would feel terrible about breaking kokos heart !! i feel like to truly get a good sense of what happened and to really 'pass judgement' (that sounds so cringe ) on her, we would rlly need to see more of their interactions !! but i really don't think that she was exactly encouraging kokos feelings and was actually serious about 'waiting for him', she probably just said that to not hurt his feelings !! wish we saw more of the seishu/koko/akane backstory tbh <//3

tokyo revengers girls sukeban WOULD LITERALLY END EVERYTHING BC OF HOW GOOD IT WOULD BE !!!! honestly though theres sooo many spin offs we need, like the current one w baji and chifuyu is so amazing and i want all of these little prequel moments and stories bc i want to see more of everyone !! & wakui pls give all the girls interactions tgt bc i know they would be bsfs !! AHHHH we just need more of the tok rev girls in general, but I WOULD KILL FOR THEM TO BE IN A GANG TGT OR SMTH !! yuzuha and emma would fs be the main fighting force, emma literally did training w mikey & baji who r both super strong ??? like ???? i refuse to believe that shes not strong af !! Notes : English is not my first language and there are probably a lot of mistakes in here :'D. Also, I need to stress how cringe the first part of the story is but trust me, my writing gets better as you read😭

Chapter 1 : Rose of Tokyo

"Have you guys heard of the 'Rose of Tokyo'?" Akkun asked with hesitance.

"What kind of name is that?" Makoto asked mockingly.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHO?! THE GIRL WHO SAVED COUNTLESS OF OTHER WOMEN FROM BEING HARRASSED?! THE GIRL WHO IS RUMORED TO HAVE THE SKILL OF TOMAN'S LEADER?! THE GIRL WHO CAN KICK ASS?! THE GIRL WH-"

"OK, WE GET IT" Yamagishi was quickly cut off by Takemichi.

Despite that, he continued, "You are a disgrace to the brotherhood for not knowing that such a badass delinquentress existed."

"You are one annoying fanboy"

*GASPS* "HOW DARE YOU INSULT MY WORK YOU LITTLE-"

Yamagishi and Makoto get up to square up with each other, while the others continue to chill at the park.

*Sigh* "Those two are so annoying,"

Takemichi chuckles.

"But why did you ask us about her?"

"Oh, I want to know who she was."

"Akkun? I didn't know you were a fan"

"What no! I just wanted to thank her in person for helping my sister get out of trouble yesterday,"

"why can't you just find her and tell her,"

"she always runs away when someone tries to talk with her,"

"oh I see"

"WAIT, did you think WE of all people knew?"

"I thought Yamagishi would've found out by now."

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!"

He yelled from a distance.

"WE THOUGHT YOU WOULD KNOW WHO SHE IS BY NOW SINCE YOU'RE SUCH A SIMP!"

"OH, YOU WANNA FIGHT?!"

"BRING IT ON FANBOY!"

Akkun left Takemichi and joined in on the fight.

Takemichi thought to himself as he glanced at the time displayed on his phone.

"Uh, I have to leave now, it's about to be dinner time."

His friends whined in disappointment. They bid farewell and Takemichi headed home. After walking for a while, he finally reached home. He swung open the door, threw his bag on their broad couch and rushed to the bathroom to take a quick shower. Emerging from his room after showering, he walked toward the sofa and flopped on it face down, not even making an effort to complete his schoolwork. Suddenly, he heard the house door being unlocked.

"TAKEMICHI IM HOME"

"Oh hi sis"

Sachiko comes in with some kfc that she bought for dinner.

"KFC?!"

"You got a 67% on your Math exam so I figured you should have a reward"

"THANK YOU SO MUCH!"

Takemichi exclaimed as he grabbed the bag of the finger-lickin' good fried chicken and dug in. While enjoying their dinner, Takemichi suddenly brought up a question.

"hey sis, have you heard of 'tokyo rose'?"

"...what"

"or something like that I probably messed up the name,"

"OH, you mean 'Rose of Tokyo' ? The one who goes around saving girls from getting harassed or something?"

"Why does everyone know who she is?"

"cause she showed up like 1 month ago I think."

<1 month 2 weeks and 4 days>

"oh really? I only found out about her recently, "

"huh, I didn't expect that from you, Takemichi,"

"what do you mean?"

"Oh cmon you know what I mean!"

'Wha- OH DONT THINK OF ME THAT WAY!"

"IT'S HARD NOT TO IF YOU'D HIDE THOSE MAGAZINES BETTER THEN MAYBE I WOULDN'T! "

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH STOP TALKING ABOUT THAT! "

"..."

An awkward silence filled the room—that was until Sachiko started eating again, Takemichi followed, not making eye contact.

"So uhm why did you ask me about her?"

"uh Akkun wanted to thank the girl for helping her sister"

"She already thanked m....." She mumbled then slowly trailed off.

"What?"

"O-oh I was saying his sister probably already thanked the girl"

"He wanted to thank the girl formally, "

"She really doesn't want it, I mean she doesn't do what she does for something in return, she does it because she wants to help out. Plus, she'd feel way too bad if she hadn't interfered with the situation."

"wait a minute"

<SH*T I SAID TOO MUCH>

"How do you know that much about her?"

"ARE YOU-*GASP*"

"UHM NO I'M NOT IT'S JUST THAT I-"

"ARE YOU SECRETLY IN LOVE WITH HER?! I MEAN YOU AND HER HAVE 'ROSE IN YOUR NAMES AND-" "I'm throwing you out of the house"

"NO WAIT-"

Sachiko jokingly forces Takemichi out of the house and smiles to herself thinking how lucky she is to have a brother this stupid. But he was right about one thing, she really needed to be careful when letting rumours about her spread.

you were waiting on draken to get back after he said he was going to keep takemichi out of danger by his bike. as you were scrolling through instagram on your phone you heard it.

you heard it but you didnt see it.

gunshots

people were screaming and running towards the exit making it difficult to see/hear exactly where the sounds came from.

saying you’re scared would be an understatement. you were terrified. your heart was pounding against your chest as you weaved through the crowd of people, desperately trying to find your beloved draken. its not like he would blend in with his height and tattoo. you called his name out a few times and were met with silence. making your way to the side where you last saw draken at you heard someone talking. a familiar voice.

“everything will be okay by tomorrow, right!? because you’re draken..”, takemichi screamed. your eyes widened as you saw your lovers body on the ground with three gunshot wounds in his torso. “draken?!”, you screamed with a shaky voice and ran to his side. draken looked at you and smiled “ i hoped you wouldnt see me like this, y/n.” you shook your head at his words and looked at takemichi “did you call the ambulance?”, you asked him. “senju made the call. they’re on their way now.” takemichi said looking down at draken.

“i dont think i have much time left.”, draken said. “dont say things like that draken! you’ll live! i cant let you die on me like this..”, you said with tears running down you face. draken smiled fondly at you and started talking about how he lost many fights before when he was young and how he admired mikey. while you and takemichi were listening carefully to drakens words he suddenly asked takemichi a favor.

“please take care of y/n and mikey”

those were the last words you heard from your lover, Ken Ryuguji, draken. You stared at his casket with dull eyes. you thought about all the dates, late night rides around shibuya, how you both made spotify playlists for each other, and how he even let you re-braid his ponytail almost every morning. but now you cant do that anymore because hes gone. your heart clenches at how you wish you could tell him you love him one last time.

Lets just say you didnt know your house was haunted and you invited some of the toman members over on Halloween.

'Wow y/n-san, your house is big!' Takemichi said in an optimistic tone in awe 'i agree takemichi-kun!' Hina agreed, 'But i hope this isnt haunted...' And boom he jinxed it

Things keep falling off and toman and you were wondering why, 'tf, why do they keep falling off🤨' you said confused, 'dont tell me.. IS YOUR HOUSE HAUNTED?!?!?!' Baji yelled 😭 'stfu brah you are gonna jinx it😠' kazutora replied as he hitted him in the head

'Yeah maybe it is haunted..' you said then 'WHATTT!?!?!??! Why I really hate Takemichi:

I thought I should explain cause some people seem butt hurt that I hate him so I thought I explain.

He was very annoying in the beginning, he stressed me out, he was fucking useless, but oh well, so was Naruto haha. But then slowly towards the middle he grew some balls and had a great character development. He actually worked on himself and actually became someone who was worthy to be a Toman captain. He truly saved everyone and damn, I was actually proud of that dumbass... until he started looking for Mikey...

Ignoring everyone's warning, but hey, I guess understandable, right? The Mikey he knew was a kind person who cared so much for his loved ones. I could kind of understand that BUT even after seeing the tape Mikey left him, where he explained why he pushed everyone away he still went after him. And that's what bothers me so much. Mikey literally sacrificed himself for his loved ones, he KNEW that he won't be able to fight his dark impulses alone, he knew he will drown in it without his friend but he cared so much about their life he rather sacrificed his own than to let anyone get hurt because of him, because he knew being around him will be dangerous and dealing with his impluses will be draining and painful. And he did. By pushing everyone away and make them hate him he basically saved their life.

-He had no choice but to act the way he did, to actually hurt them because he knew otherwise they would never abandon him, they were his closest friends and extremely loyal; one for all, all for one, remember? And Mikey knew this, therefore he had no other choice but to make them hate him-

Everyone had a good future, everyone was happy because of Mikey's sacrifice but Takemichi didn't for a second stop and think about it nor tried to understood Mikey's reason, he has this hero complex and he just had to find Mikey, despite all the warnings.

I understand the time leap was not his fault but could have just go back and leave things as they were and go back -somehow- but he didn't, still ignoring Mikey's wish and his sacrifice he went ahead and messed with the future resulting in Draken's death, which lead to Mitsuya's complete break down. God knows who else is going to die because of Takemichi's recklessness. Thanks to him EVERYTHING Mikey has sacrificed and worked for to save everyone and keep everyone safe was for nothing because of him.

Everyone has been through hell, so much suffering and loss but finally had a good future, something they all deserved, until Takemichi.

So this is why I hate him.

As for Mikey: I love him, and I know he deserves happiness but honestly? Can he really be saved? As someone who struggles with a lot of trauma and darkness I know how it feels; struggling between wanting to stay away from people but at the same time not wanting to be left alone, and because of that I understand and respect Mikey's decision. I know it from myself that Mikey pushed them away because if he wouldn't he would have felt selfish for keep them around for his own sake; to save him from himself, and meanwhile I know they would have stayed with Mikey and would have wanting to help him, Mikey didn't want to place that burden on them, he wanted them to live their own life without having to worry about him, especially Draken.

Mikey's action was the most selfless act of love in the entire manga series.

P.s: I like to add I mean no disrespect if you like Takemichi. We all like the characters we like! I simply just explained from my point of view, as someone who relates a lot to Mikey and those characters who suffered a lot. If you like Takemichi go for it! Just dont shit on those who prefer Mikey or Shin. -which I have experienced a lot from Takemichi fans- Be nice to each other we all like the same manga in the end, dont we? Haha

my TR analysis (could be a bit messy,, sryyyy)

Soooo, the last chapter really messed with us... </3

(chapter 269 spoilers towards the end)

But why are we even surprised? The manga was bittersweet since the beginning. I mean yes, we saw Takemichi and his romance but the reason he even got to relive this, was sad.

A romance born out of a tragedy.

Wakui loves uniting contradictions; such as “good” & “evil” and he did that from the start. He loves messing with our minds.

Examples:

example no 1: Draken & Mikey, my two most favorite boys in the series.

My first impression was that they look similar; after all both are blond, have black eyes. Drakens face may be larger and more oval shaped than Mikeys. Mikeys is somewhat round (?) and his eyes are bigger than Drakens, making them more dramatic. They are the focus-point in his face, while Draken’s is probably his tattoo or just how tall he is,, especially compared to Mikey.

(Like srsly,, Mikey is smaller than me and I ain’t tall hsdkshf)

If I remember correctly my very first impression of Draken was that he is arrogant, that he is intimidating.

And Mikey looked so innocent: big dark eyes represent innocence.

And yet, people in the series are more intimidated by Mikey,, despite him not looking intimidating

And guess what, I also changed my opinion about Draken in the same episode. He may be the type to show u he feels superior but his heart is good. He is so well written.

Soo, shouldnt Mikey and Draken based on their personalities look the other way around than they do?

Yes, but no-

Since Mikeys eyes fit his innonence and childish traits, he is small and he doesnt always act his age (((and his heart is good too, k i am an apologist)))

So at first you might say their looks should be based on their traits the other way around, but getting to know them better you will realize that it does fit the way it is.

Draken seems intimidating because he actually is. We, the readers know him from his best side because this is the side he shows Mikey, also Michi as he got to know him better & of course Mitsuya and his other friends. BUT those are his friends. He can be pretty intimidating when there is the need to.

I will come to Mikey in another post that will be dedicated just to him,, since he is a bit more complex;

but yes he is meant to be loveable and cute,, just to make everything stated by Naoto in the first episode, hard to believe.

The 2nd example for how Wakui loves using contradictions are the Kawata twins,, I dont exactly remember the chapter but somewhere in the Manga it was stated how they look the exact opposite of how they should look based on their characeristics. They mentioned how Angry actually has a purer soul than Smiley, while Smiley is more violent and shows no remorse. If I remember correctly they even called him a “devil”.

And YET, despite the fact that this got mentioned &Wakui likes to make us believe how Angry is a better person,, somewhere later we got to see that Angry has got an evil side too.

Wakui seems to believe that the good people have the drive to do something evil, despite it being contrary to their believes.

The 3rd example is similar to the 2nd since it is also about Smiley and Angry:: It is about their Ramen shop and how the black bowl had white Ramen noodles, while the white bowl had black Ramen noodles - again a great example, underlining again Wakuis philosophy of blending the good with the bad.

A pattern I noticed is how the manga often repeats events, they will be a bit different but you are able to tell that there is indeed a reference to something you read before.

This is also why the fact that Shinichiro is a timeleaper shouldn’t be that surprising but it still was -

We never got to know much about him, that is why I always tried to understand Takemichi as good as possible in order to gain inside into Shinichiro, since it was always stated that they are really similar.

The fact that both of them are timeleapers is just one similarity more.

I am curious about whats gonna come next, looking real forward to seeing Shin again,,

but Mikey in THIS condition..,,,,aghh y do u this to us, Wakui?

Hello hello dear Eri!!! Coming late here, my week was crazy and busy as hell! How was your week? Hopefully a peaceful one 🥰 weekend work duties sounds terrible, i hope you can get some rest as often as you want despite that! Yesss you're right, it's more pleasant to go out during your days offs when it's during the week instead of weekends! There really is less people in the streets, and i'm living in a big city, it's really more enjoyable! But i can't see my family as often as i want because we have different schedules and weekends! that's the most annoying thing...

Ohh yes it's always sad to notice little things that we dislike in series we really really like! I'm more the kind of person who likes so so much a serie and will act blind about things I dislike :') honestly I think i should rewatch/reread bleach before watching the last season, it's really been a while since I read the end

I do not have any patience too, recently I'm I thinking about reading blue lock so bad, but I love watching the anime, and I know if i'm starting to read i will lose interest for the anime ; that's also why I havent started to read Kaguya yet because i really enjoy the anime, also I already have watched 3 seasons so I guess I can wait more and no read 🤷‍♀️

Gosh I saw all the hate about the end of tokrev, and even before, when the last arc has started to be published. It's astounding. People absolutely didn't get it, and they were spreading hate on twitter and elsewhere, before and now! I was almost 100% sure it was gonna end well for mikey, at least ; i desired to see everyone be saved but I wouldn't have imagined how it would have became possible and I'm very glad how the end has turned unexpected but good! And yes I feel the same, those who spread hate about tokrev are those who haven't read the manga, properly, they were just here because it was popular or something. Because if you properly read it you can easily guess that it will end happily? It was the goal of Takemichi!!! Ngl the rushed part it's something sad to me, but I wonder if that didn't happen because of the editors? Same for bleach i think, it was very popular so the editor asked for more and then it has lost in popularity and wanted Tite Kubo to end his manga? No sure about it tho

hi santa!! omg dw about it i understand life can get crazy busy on the most random moment. i’ve had pretty chill weeks lately and yep totally get you with enjoying big cities during less peak days and hours but also sacrificing the usual common sched with the fam and friends. i actually live away from most of my fam and now i’m answering late cuz they called me for a month long vacation (not that i’ll be really entirely free, i’m working remotely so i can go anywhere if i wanted to without taking much leaves, but this time theres lotsa travel involved plus it’s too long to leave my pc so i had bring stuff and set up here and there) and it started with a long beach trip!

ah i wish i could do that but no, i’ll be hating every single thing i dislike about it…while still consuming every single piece of media lmfao. i would suggest you at least reread some stuff if you plan to watch this latest one. i get annoyed when i see people over glorifying this latest season without even remembering shit from manga and everything that happened before this arc 😂

the top of my mind says anything comedic and not too plot heavy, i can stay anime only/first! i can see how that works well with kaguya. blue lock stuff is everywhere but still i havent started watching it 🫣

i dont get it with naoto being a better mc. he’s literally just a police officer and has nothing to do with the gangs? like yea hina’s his sister the one getting killed but it’s takemichi’s gf and friends being killed. everyone has some kind of connection or bond with takemichi, everything leads back to him not naoto. the first half of tokyo rev deals w michi vs k*saki who are connected by their childhood; second half deals w mikey and the second time leaper who by chance most likey is connected to michi. i completely understand not liking him but he isn’t 100% useless, he’s just not strong like every other shonen mc😭

yea he’s weak but mentally he’s one of the strongest esp repeatedly going into the past to save his loved ones KNOWING he can’t fight but refuses to give up. he’s the crybaby hero for a reason; if naoto was mc i honestly dont know how any of the arcs would exist, esp tenjiku and the final arcs tbh

the thing is, michi’s motivations are very juvenile to me. it made sense with hina and akkun but once it started expanding into people he just met, it got annoying. i personally don’t like him bc that’s just me! i just don’t see any greatness in him :(
