INFO ABOUT ANE:

- Ane is from earth 1218, which accoring to marvel is where all superheroes are fictional (basically she lived in the same ground as you and I live). But for some reason it seemed that her world kinda started to reject her in a sense? Causing her to be sended to this white space sorta place to where she can see marvel's fiction world

- Its basically gwenpool its what I'm tryna say lol. She basically has access to go in and out other earths without glitching due to not belonging to her own earth anymore and makes it easier for fast escape, although if she's in high stress or cannot concentrate she can't won't be able to phase out to the white space.

- Like pool she has quite a handful knowledge of most of the character from both strenght and weakness. Which that knowledge has helped from tight situations (tends to end with a few broken bones there and there)

HOW IT STARTED:

-Before becoming a spider dude she was nothing but a homeless girl roaming around the streets, looking for her next piece of bread or some coin to get by. Mind you that she tried to tell officers of her situation the world she was in but ofc she just ended behind bars in the station cuz police is so......useful sometimes aint I right....

-She met the peter after a day of her escape and Peter being the sweetsoul he is helped her out by giving her a place to stay with his aunt may. She stayed quiet of her situation but she eventually opened up to him and told him everything. Surprisingly he belived her without considering her a physco (He was from COUGH hq COUGH)

-And life goes well, she gets a job, heped payed the bills and kinda started developing a crush on pete's and it life is good.....until it wasn't

-Remember endgame? Well, she is kinda the main reason the heroes lost, u see aunt May was suppose to die in that fight but Ane's intervening caused a butterfly effect, causing the destruction and downfall of the civilization (isnpired by a punisher comic where he becomes a galaxy ghost rider)

-the only things surviving were her and peter's web shooters, the same ones she used to protect Aunt May....from then on she starts doing these good deeds, helping other citizens from other universes, getting into fights with both heroes and villians, meeting & loosing at the same time.

-she's self taught in both strategy and combat, using her past experiences and copying moves from others has helped along the way. But also being the part that destroys her lil by lil both emotionaly and physically. Causing her to avoid attachements or interaction to ANYONE. The only source of comfort is the emptiness of her void and the feeling of dried blood in her finger tips. Nightmares being a daily dose of her guilt and self hatred. Sometimes leaving cuts bleed out or touch her wounds as a way of punishing herself for her failures.

HQ CAPTURE & ESCAPE:

-At this point she's nothing but a soul filled with anger and violence, somehow surprisingly managing to escape a few times leaving a few spiders bloodied and almost in deaths door

-They manage to get a hold on her after using her latest fight as an advantage, knocked out cold she gets taken to the HQ. Even in her weak state the spiders couldn't help but to notice just how LOUD their spider sense were being....something telling them that they should back off ASAP. She gets treated for her wounds and sended to the cells where they explaon her the situation she's in. Her face not changing, staring at miguel with a unreadable expression as the others can't turn off their senses...some of the taking a step back

-A few weeks pass by, the fresh memory of her loved one dying on her arms still fresh in her head. Suddenly hearing the door open and seeing Diane being dragged towards her. Ane doesn't budge or looks up at the noise of to Diane's demands and resistance. Mabey Diane sees Ane and tries to talk her to help her out? Since I feel like she would know her situation or some bits of it, mostly knowing Ane isn't a villian.

-A few hours later AND BAM everything is on flames. Most of the HQ trying to capture the escaped prisioners, she and Diane kinda bonding over battle as they both have lil bits of conversation between the fights (Ane loves her webs and how shiny she basically is, reminds her of diamons kskkskwksk)

-mabey he meets gwens group and slowly starts to open up to others, and mabey she and diane become besties and she teaches Ane to be a lil more social and all the goodie stuff 👉👈? If that ok?

BIT OF HER FUTURE & GROWTH AS HERO AND HERSELF:

-I was thinking that she meets logan (wolverine) in a certain future (few moths or a year after the HQ accident) and basically follows and annoys the living hell outta him so get him to train her. She know he isnt the type to just accept things like this so standing her ground being the only way to get through that metal skull of his

-Which not only elevates her fighting skills and combat agility but also basically gets adopted by him lmao (he will forever deny he has a soft spot for her, but will throws hands if he hears crap talked about her back). She replaces the web shooter to chain shooters those and most parts of her new suit made from the same metal that wolverine's claws are made off. (She keeps the webs shooters on box somewhere in her white space cuz they have an emotional meaning to her)

-She's now able to sneak up on spider people without being detected by their senses (it is canon in a comic that longan did that on peter due to being that good of a hunter). She still has some demons on her but she's slowly but surely getting better day by day thanks to logan's teaching.

-although she still goes onto killing if she needs to, some fights more gruesome than others, her gloves having extendable blades like logans and well...u seen how the fights go with him. All and all life becomes good, even after a few falls she always gets up again, just this time, she has a hand to pull her up <33

I would say a ship I hate that most people like is Lutteo, but to be very honest, as many who likes it, almost as many hate that ship as well. So like. Yeah. I need a better option.

Update: After a long time of thinking, I cannot come up with any. At least not now.

Now for the most overrated/underrated ships, I again had trouble. I don't think so many ships are overrated, I mean of course there are a lot, but the ones I think are overrated are the ones that are popular and I dislike (so like, Lutteo).

But underrated? Oh god. I don't think I have one that is the most underrated, so here is just a list.

Every single WLW ship in SL. Yes. People do have some love for Ambilia and Jam, but they don't really make much content for them. I got very disappointed when I found out there were no Jam fics whatsoever so I had to write on my own. What is this talk about everyone agreeing they're gfs and then not making content? Y'all are too obsessed with the three main ships and while 2 out of 3 of them are good and I get why that is, god it would be fun with some variety there. And besides Ambilia and Jam, people don't really talk about any other WLW ships. I have dipped my toes in Jazmin/Delfi and Lunina, but tbh since... I, am the only one who mentions them it feels awkward sometimes to talk about it lmao.

In a way, Dunclet and Viodora from asoue. Those are well liked, but for example, when I go through the Viodora tag it's like, updated once every third month. Also those ships are not well liked on instagram, because asoue instafans are belivers that everyone is str8

I lowkey ship Gina and Ashlyn from HSMTMTS and I am afraid to mention it cause it feels like no one agrees. Also the fandom scares me so I basically try to never say anything

But I will say I got some vibes from Maddox and Ashlyn and already after 1 episode I feel like there can be hints there of something. But again, it's only been 1 episode, it could just be me being wrong, but if it turns out it was a hint and something will happen then I will brag I saw it right away

I love to think that when either Wilbur or Quackity is questioned about the nature of their relationship with the other that they’ll be all like “WHAT??!! H-HIM??? Ok but like- I’m just saying if a Revived Wilbur and Quackity had a wedding (yes I know of the multitudes of trauma, I’ve thought this whole thing out lmao), then you can’t tell me that Wilbur would just show up in the most gorgeous, lacy, fitted, ivory-white dress ever, and then just throw his filthy old trenchcoat on top and act like he’s a fucking fashion icon.

He’d just be walking up the aisle and everyone there would just be like smh Wilbur couldn’t you go one day without the trenchcoat you bloody JD kinnie.

Also Tommy would most definitely be the flower boy and throw cactuses and shit at people he didn’t like, Niki would be Wilbur’s maid of honour (we love ignoring canon to make fluffy scenarios /hj), Slime would be Quackity’s best man and naturally, it’d be a classic church prime wedding as per tradition.

i am starting to genuinely belive that my mans c!wilbur just had a massive sexuality crisis in limbo- 

like he comes out of complete and utter sexual depravity almost 100% gayer? my guy probably didn’t have much to do, and when the mind gets bored, the mind starts to think of homosexual things.

i picture him just like sitting alone in the train station, absent-mindedly throwing a rock at the walls, when his brain is just like- “Ok but hear me out- what about men?”

“and what about quackity in particular?”

LIKE- you cannot tell me that this man wasn’t on Wilbur’s brain 24/7, where else do you think this sudden urge to go see him came from?? C!Wilbur definitely had nice thoughts about a certain pretty man, questioned his sexuality ten times a day, and with a splendiferous revival ended up almost 500x more homosexual. That’s just how it works now.

Giyuu Tomioka x Fem!Lightning Pillar

Synopsis: You and Giyuu had met when you were doing the final selection and became friends with him. However, life made you drift apart and you both became pillars just to meet one another again.

You panted heavily as you ran through thick fog and towering trees. Your hand griping firmly around the hilt of your nichirin blade. Your eyes were darting from every direction, waiting for another demon to pop out of nowhere and take a slash at you. There was rustling ahead of you and prepared your blade. You brought both your hand to your blade handle and lifted your arms to swing when-

‘Shit, it’s a slayer!’

A small boy with long black hair and a red haori looked at you frightened as you had your blade lifted, ready to slice him down. You couldn’t stop yourself, you had already charged and you couldn’t stop now. In a flash, another boy appears out of seemingly nowhere and connects your two swords, pushing you away with his strength.

You went skidding to the side and almost tumbled over. You were too much in a panic of almost slicing another slayer to process the boy’s strength. After you got your grounding, you quickly jog to the two boys, “I’m so sorry! The fog was so thick and I thought it was a demon! Please excuse my incompetence!” You bowed low to the two boys just to hear one of them scoff.

“Maybe you shouldn’t be a slayer if you cannot tell the difference between human and demon.” The boy with pinkish hair spat.

You cocked a brow at the boy and thought to yourself ‘what’s with this kid??’ You opened your mouth to argue before the boy with black hair interrupted, “It-it’s fine, Sabito. I’m sure she didn’t mean it.”

“Tch, fine. Just as long as she learns her lesson.”

You raised your brow at the pink haired boy with squared patterned haori again. You then noticed that the both of them had fox masks on.

“Oh? What are those. They look very nice. Whoever made them must be really good at woodcarving.”

“It’s a warding mask,” replied the pink haired boy, “to help keep evil spirits and demons away. The craftsmanship is very good. Urokodaki Sensei is very talented and taught us all we know.”

“And you two are?”

“I’m Sabito and this here is Giyuu...”

“Ah, hello Sabito, Giyuu. I’m Y/N,” you bow once again and they do the same, greeting you. “Let’s just forget that incident. I’m sorry, Giyuu.” You smile at him and he timidly tells you it was alright and that they’ll look past it now.

You tagged along with the two for a couple a days. You were very surprised by how strong Sabito was. He was saving everyone and no demon was too strong for him. It was amazing watching him. Giyuu was strong as well but Sabito kept outshining him.

One day, a demon attacked the three of you and you ended up getting separated from the two and finished the rest of Final Slection on your own. Once you reached the wisteria section of the mountain to claim your ore and uniform, you were too out of it from injuries and exhaustion that you didn’t see Sabito or Giyuu again. You figured they’d both be alright though.

Years had passed and you had become stronger. You accomplished Total Concentration Breathing Constant and slayed a number of demons. You quickly climbed the ranks as you went on more mission and killed more demons. Eventually you were finally able to slay one of the Twelve Kizuki and was given the message to join the Hashiras.

You were pretty banged up from the demon and met Shinobu before any of the other Pillars. She tended your wounds and gave you medicated water to ease your pain before guiding you to Master Ubuyashiki’s garden where everyone else had been waiting.

You felt very nervous to see such a range of people. Two of them were very, very tall and stood in the way of seeing some of the other pillars.

They were all greeting you and asking you a ton of questions. Many of them were very proud to see another slayer defeat a Twelve Kizuki and join them in the ranks. Eventually, Master Ubuyashiki made his appearance and everyone got in line to kneel to him. You did the same until he called you up front to introduce you to everyone. You were finally able to see all of the pillars now that everyone was in line. You scan through until you see a familiar face, farthest away and the end of the line.

You eyes widen after seeing a familiar red haori with raven, black hair sat on top and ocean blue eyes staring right back at you. ‘I can’t believe it,’ you thought to yourself, ‘It’s Giyuu! I thought I’d never see him again!’ You were ecstatic to talk to him again but had to wait until Ubuyashiki had dismissed everyone first.

The meeting finally came to an end and you made a beeline to Giyuu, ignoring all the other pillars who wanted to ask further questions.

“Giyuu?! Is that you? It’s me! Y/N! We were in final selection together! Gods, I can’t believe it! I thought I’d never see you again!” He’d grown a lot since you last saw him. His hair was longer, his jaw was more defined and you now had to look up to meet his eyes. Dare you say he looked more handsome.

“Y-Y/N, Its been so long.” Giyuu stuttered out, completely flustered. He could feel his cheeks burning the more he spoke with you. You hadn’t grown much in height but your body filled out more and your hair had gotten a bit longer as well. He was nervous to say that you were making his heart flutter again.

“Don’t be so shy, give me a hug!! I can’t belive you’re a Hashira, how did that even happen?” You continued on as you outstretched your arms to pull Giyuu in. He was very stiff and awkward but couldn’t resist embracing you after thinking you’ve been dead for years. He was completely wrong. You were strong, so strong in fact that you managed to take out one of the Twelve Kizuki and became a Pillar. For some strange reason, he felt so proud of you despite not seeing you for so long.

All the other Pillars just stared in disbelief and confusion. Who where you? How did you know Tomioka? How did you get him to talk? How the heck did you get him to hug you?! And how were you making him so flustered?!?! He’s stoic!!

After pulling away from the hug, you opened your mouth to ask about Sabito when you noticed the other half of his haori. Your eyes softened and touched the yellow and green patterns, you heart sinking a little. You bring your eyes back to Giyuu’s, “Did... did Sabito... not... not make it...?” You ask him sadly, tears threatening to swell your eyes. Giyuu’s eye become very sad as he looks to the side and just simply shakes his head.

“I’m so sorry, Giyuu... he was a very good man. I’m sure he’ll be reincarnated, his heart was very kind and pure.”

The other Pillars finally interrupted and started bombarding you with more questions and you spent some time talking with all of them and keeping Giyuu close to you since he kept trying to leave. You still wanted to talk with him afterwards.

“Ugh, what a relief!” You let out as you stretch your arms upwards, “I thought they’d never stop asking questions.”

You and Giyuu were walking side by side and leaving Ubuyashiki’s garden.

You excitedly turn to Giyuu, you eyes sparkling as you made contact with his deep, ocean blue ones, “We have so much to catch up on! Tell me, Giyuu, what Pillar are you?”

The both of you spoke all night and caught eachother up on a lot of things. You talked a bit more than Giyuu did of course, but he still replied and shared enough of his thoughts to not make it seem like you were talking to a brick wall.

Giyuu was so relieved to see that you were okay. He knows he didn’t know you a lot but there was just something so magnetizing about you when you first met. He couldn’t help but feel so interested in you. You’d occasionally come across his mind the years you weren’t there and he would just wonder what you were up to. Pessimism would often creep in and make him think that you might already be dead. He tried his best to shake those thoughts but there was a high chance of that being the reality. Being a slayer never guaranteed a safe future.

It turns out all those pessimistic thoughts were wrong and now here you were, reunited with him. He couldn’t understand why he was so overjoyed to see you again. His heart pounded a bit more around you now than it did years ago. It confused him how you made his thoughts hazy and his temperature rise. But most importantly, he was just so relieved that you were still alive. And to top it all off, you became a Hashira. I mean, a Hashira! The new Lighting Pillar! It made him feel so proud of you. He couldn’t believe you were that strong. Not that he ever doubted you, he just feared that since he enjoyed your presence that you’d be doomed to die too soon.

But now you’re here, stronger than he could have ever imagined, and he was not going to let you leave his side ever again.

Expressing assumptions/speculations/guesses in Japanese

Cool scene. Deidara was the coolest Akatsuki memember so he allowed himself to sit on dead Gaara. The disrespect was real and Naruto got really mad. This  way they found out who the jinchuriki was. English translation was: That must be him Japanese: どうやらそうみたいだな Depending on the source the translations differ.

I remember I was so confused."Where is “must” in Japanese?!?!” I quickly remembered all the “must” forms I’d learned in Japanese, and none of them matched with what Deidara had said. I was really frustrated!

どうやら is most commonly translated as “apparently,” and it is a way for the speaker to emphasize his objectivity or possibly doubt.

そうみたいだな = it seems so, it looks like so, it looks like it is him.

Must is used for saying that you think something is probably true because nothing else seems possible.

Every evidence that you’re shown screams “That’s him! that’s him!” So, you’re like “According to the evidence, you’re the jinchuriki!” -> logical assumption. But it’s not like someone else has confirmed this as well. It’s just your assumption. Modal verbs are tricky and the best way to study them in Japanese is to learn a concept behind a certain modal verb and look for phrases that match that concept in Japanese.

(Logical) assumptions/speculations/guesses in Japanese can be expressed through:

どうやらそうみたいだな

Verb casual + はずです

〈当然 as a matter of course 〉 ought to do; should do

〈推測 guesses〉 must 《be》

〈予定 plans〉 be expected to do; be to do; be due to do.

言ったはずだ = I told you!

筈（はず）がない

cannot 《be》

it is hardly possible that…

そのう わさは本当であるはずがない = The rumor cannot be true.

～に決（き）まっている   sure to ...; certain to ...; bound to ...; it's natural that ..  

彼は成功するに決まっている. It is certain that he will succeed.

きっと〜だ [adverb; often paird with だろう・でしょう]

これはきっとよく売れるよ I bet this product will sell really well. (It must sell well since it’s so good; that’s my assumption)

It depends on how convinced you are about your assumption and, as always, your speaker (friend, boss, etc.) Also, the more you read or listen and produce the language, the better you will get at recognizing the right context for each phrase. I’m still getting corrected, like, “naaah in this case I’d use this [phrase], it’s not like yours is wrong but this one [phrase] sounds better”

the (in)validation of jonsa

never in my many years of fandom experiences (over two decades i might say) i encountered such hostile reaction towards the existence of a ship like the asoiaf/got fandom has towards jonsa. and for fucks sake, i've been in the internet long enough to know that they were smut fics written about dobby that met less hatred and disgust than jonsa.

  people within the jonsa fandom have to constantly encounter animosity of strangers who are appalled by the fact that people like jon and sansa together, and constantly make us justify why we ship them as a couple, even though that doesn't happen to other couples in the fandom.

  it is not because they were raised as siblings, otherwise jonr/a wouldn't be a thing and they don't meet not even a tenth of the hate jonsas do. it's not because they are related either, otherwise jon/rys wouldn't exist either and we all know a grand majority seems to belive they are the acceptable couple to ship.

  it all comes to the underling point: sansa and the fact that jonsa is not a ship that punishes or ‘humbles’ sansa in any way or form and is not there to teach her a lesson. otherwise why people don't bat an eye for her being romantically shipped with men twice/trice her age, who are clearly predators and/or had a hand on her family's deaths?

  jonsa seems to cause more dislike and the feeling of aversion than sansa with men who tried (or thought of) raping her or have no sense to be with her narrative wise (i mean, the amount of grown ass adult men i see people shipping sansa with is ridiculous). but why is jonsa that brings the fury?

  to me it is the fact that for years sansa had been villainized by the fandom and people simple accepted the collective headcanon that sansa stark was nothing but a vain and unimportant character who is to blame for the bad things that happened to the stark family, and not the grown ass adult men (in which many are shipped with her) who actually caused it all.

  this is why sansa and jonsa fans are know as the “worst” by some people of the fandom. because for so long in the past it was okay to spill hate towards sansa and no one would bat an eye, they would just add to the list reasons why she suck.

  but then sansa fans grew strong and confident, and many of which shipped sansa with jon (for many different reasons) and that started to piss off people, because jon is a good guy. jon is the hero. how dare people give sansa a hero to love and love her back, she needs to be taught a lesson, she needs men who are old enough to be her father, who look at her as a piece of meat and property and who narratively wise will keep her as a lesser, in a low position where she belongs.

  and with this comes the invalidation from the fandom. because we cannot just ship them just because, which is the most valid reason to like and ship a couple: you like them together and that is it. but no, we have to justify it over and over, from people who do not ship it and post in our tags demanding to hear a good reason we like such ridiculous couple, to people reblogging our work and metas to say how wrong and delusional we are or the bombarding of anons jonsas seem to get, no matter how big or small their blogs are, to shame or insult them for shipping the couple.

  i mean, how many times we, sansa and jonsa fans, have our opinions invalidated not only about our favorite couple and characters in the books/show, but anything else related to the fandom because we are sansa/jonsa fans? in fact, even those who are not sansa/jonsa stans but that seem to go against the grain of what the majority of the fandom believes (or against the fans or a certain character and house) they are labeled sansa/jonsa fans and hence unworthy of being heard.

  that actually is something i see often, not only on tumblr or on twitter, the use of being a sansa/jonsa fan against others, but recently i saw it happen in another place, where a person in an extremely respectful manner had answered why they didn’t think dny deserved better (it was about a buzzfeed article who mentioned characters that were ruined by the writing out of nowhere) simply because they believed that while the last two seasons were rushed and terribly written, the narrative of the character’s downfall was something that had been hinted previously. someone had the rude reaction of simple going “lol you are clearly a sansa stan, can’t be taken seriously” before attacking sansa and the starks (and no, that person was not a sansa stan/fan).

  why, why does it matter if i like character x with character y so much? what does that interfere with their fandom enjoyment? how does the existence of jonsa affect them so much to the point they cannot believe people like them and decide to ridicule anyone and everyone who likes them, stalking their blogs and tags, screen capping their posts to laugh at and share with their friends over how ridiculous these delusional jonsas are and how they and sansa fans suck and are the worst part of the fandom.

  why do do we have to constantly validate our love for these characters, together and apart, justifying the reasons why? is there some mythical jonsa forefather/foremother creature that in the no so distant past were the fandom was created committed atrocities and henceforth besmirching the good name of those who came after? i think not. 

  so why is your ship valid and ours not? why do we have to perform to you, cater to you and explain to you why they are relevant to us? so good lord let us be, we are not here for you.

Aight, so here we go, be ready cuz shit's long.

(1st part - The Rui n the gang meeting; The Shou meeting) No Tw

Honestly, I also kinda wanted to do this for quite a long time, so I'm gonna firstly talk about how the gang (w/o really mentioning the others name's since they're gonna get introduced soon) met itself and decided to form, and then I'll individually do It in Lyva's and Shou's case, specifically Shou's since i mentioned that his meetin was somethin id have to take care of in another post, so i will rn.

First things first, w the whole gang. Now It wasn't really casually, mainly because Lyva n Rui did meet up, but It was during a special occasion still, that being a really important manifestation in one of the main regions in my oc universe. (They don't have name's yet so pls don't bash me🤡) Them being primarly the Forest, where Rui eventually lives in after all of his past shit, the near-countryside part, where Lyva was living, a pretty much city living on water, where Shou's currently living, and many more, as such the dunes with which I'll introduce Qiran (hopefully tomorrow/today),The sea itself, some High up places and as I said many, many other more. Other than this brief intro, they meet up where Lyva used to live, but mainly because of problems and out of conviniance.

Everyone had something to take back from, so they agreed to help eachother to reach that end, so it's all really planned. Now i won't really go w Lyva, cuz i explained how she met Rui the first time n how they helped her, so I don't need to ramble more on this. Now I'm gonna go w Shou's part though.

This Is more of a note i wanted y'all to know first, cuz i really like how Lyva n Rui met him the first time (cuz the second time was when the gang then all agreed to form n all that jazz.). Basically, Rui n Lyva were out, n visiting new places as such, to prepare themselves further and to try and search for more weapons, cuz they both knew that they'd eventually get in trouble, and even though they still are good, they wouldn't stand much a chance, n since Shou's Place is known for its production they decided to go. N fun fact, there's many funny shit that happends, for example Rui tries to touch a fish, but gets SLAPPED by It. They're still mad >:[. Ajkskdj anyways, some other stuff happends n they just, lose themselves. They had a map ofc but still managed to do so. But Rui was usin It so, I don't really blame em for gettin lost.

Shit happends n they find themselves pratically in front of his shrine/palace. Shou's servitors (cuz he saw everything happend from afar n gave them the okay) brought em in, but rather than makin em idk some tea n just making them recouver, Shou rather put them under some "tests" w/o tellin em, to see if they were any use.

For example he brought them some cups of tea, but before drinking them Rui noticed somethin unusual in the water, so they gave Lyva a sign to not drink It, n as Shou asked as a reason why they just replied that they weren't thirsthy, leavin Shou in a kind of defeated state. Bitch if i love this part honestly, there's so much fun to seein all of their reactions, but I'm gonna go brief rn. So other of this tests pass later n Shou eventually gets upset cuz they're all winnin n seemingly makin fun of him, lettin him in a weaket standpoint, n a fight happends. Even though it's a 2v1 situation he can still manage pretty well, so It ends in a draw. They get to talk after this and get to understand that they don't have to necesseraly be on the opposite side, though Shou Is still unsure whether to belive in that or not.

After they leave him, pratically almost alone w only a bunch of servitors helpin him. He admits defeat n won't show up until the event and yadayada. (Also it's during this weak time of his he'll meet Qiran which i already have plans w so it's all goin to be said bout their relationship in their post.)

(2nd part, the father mention.) Tw:father mention

So it's true that w Shou i did mention his father, but I'm not entirely sure bout his involvment honestly. In theory he kind of is a villain itself, even because of his devilish nature, so it's true, but im not sure whether to make him an independent villain or part of a group of them. But rather than that yes, i do want to make him some sort of villain in the end, because that's also part of Shou's agreement to be part of the group. I will make concept art for him so he'll definetly be involved. Not gonna lie, mabye that bastards also involved w Rui's cult too in a way or another but im givin in too many details holy shit I'll never get outta this fuck

(3rd part- where do they live) No Tw

They live in their own homes honestly, but It would be no surprise if they'd all decide to sleep over someone in specifical, though they have their own place. I made some concepts for Rui's intern home, which here It Is 😤 (forgive me for the bad quality but it's 2 am rn 🤡) I made this a while ago but only did Rui's, so I'll do Lyva's, Shou's n the other one's too. They live in different places, for the exception of, atm, Qiran, since I'm gonna say that they're more of a traveller n don't have a stable home.

(4th part- the mental/physical ilnesses) Tw: Self harm and Mental ilness mention

Well, this Is gonna be a ride. They all suffer from Ptsd, which Rui n Shou suffering from It the most. It still affects them all, though in different occasions, so Imma just do them in specifical. (Also because i gotta add some shit to shou that i didn't wanna add because i thought It was too much honestly)

Rui-

It affects them really much. They use crystals n gems to avoid anything going w their past or anything remotely related It, as whenever they feel awful about havin those flashbacks when they still were a child. They never want to talk about what happened, n during their moments It gets really, really bad. Both emotionally and physically, as their body sometimes cannot handle anything so it completely shuts down. They never really got any help for It as Rui's too scared to share bout their experience, both because of trauma itself that doesn't make them say anything even if they wanted to and because of the cults influence, so either way they've got to handle It by their own.

Lyva-

Other than havin to deal w mornin sickness, which Is the least for her, she has to deal w her neglectful childood and how desperate she's always been for litteraly anythin, whether it's related about love,friendship, food, toys, anything. She tried to seek for help and semi found It, but as of now she can't keep up w It and has better things to take care of. It's still really bad overall, but she's hoping for things to get better. Spoiler It really won't.

Shou-

It's... really fucking bad. I'm gonna get outta this w saying something i didn't want to add because it's really triggerin, but im gonna do It now. So basically, I've mentioned them acting feminenly for his own mother, but i didn't say what would've happened if he displeased her. She would just stare down at him and whispering some awful shit or names. This would happen especially whenever he'd slip off that mask of his or revealed even a tiny bit of his devilish essence. Note that he's still a child here. So, best thing he could to was to "punish" himself, which basically consists of him scratching his arms too much and, i don't really want to continue this, forgive me but it's kind of triggering even for me. But...you can guess what he's doing, since he even to this day still keeps sharp nails. I'm sorry for putting this, but it's another way to show how his mother fucked him up and now suffering from this.

Affectionate Newsies Headcanons Part 2

A/N OH MY GOSH I CAN’T BELIVE HOW MUCH THE FIRST ONE BLEW UP I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT!!!! Thank you all so much for taking the time to read/like/reblog it, and to those of you who left something in the tags or commented, I legit just stared at my screen smiling for the longest time, thank you all so much!! I hope you guys like this one too, and please let me know if you have requests for anything! The next one will include Spot, Specs, and Elmer (as requested by a lovely anon!), and I should have it up by Wednesday. Race: Race is definitely one of the most affectionate newsies. Like Jack, he is constantly hanging off of someone, playfighting, knocking off caps, etc, though he is typically a bit more rough than Jack. While Jack’s conscious aim is to make sure the boys know he loves them as well as having fun, Race playfights and steals their stuff for the chance to mess with his brothers and annoy the crap out of them. He normally means well of course! He also likes to run up behind someone and lift them off the ground randomly, whether they are in a conversation, trying to sell, Race doesn’t care. Random tickle attacks are also very common, but Race CANNOT take what he dishes out, he will literally collapse on the ground and die. While Race is extremally rambunctious and is always shoving someone around, by the end of a long selling day, he is exhausted and pretty much just wants to cuddle with someone until either they all go to Jacobi’s or he randomly gets all of his energy back and leaps up to go run off some steam by annoying everyone before bed. 

The major downside to Race getting all cuddly and cute when he is tired is that that he is also VERY whinny. He typically stumbles into the arms of the closest newsie, buries his face in their chest, and starts whining gibberish at them. While he will and has dragged every single newsie to the couch to cuddle at one point or another, his favorites are Albert and JoJo. JoJo absolutely loves it, and it works out well because he also just wants cuddles at the end of the day, but Albert is mildly annoyed by it. At this point the only thing he does to fight it though is groan a bit before he settles down and just lets Race have his way. Race’s all time favorite cuddle partner is, of course, his very own personal teddy bear, Spot Conlon! Its not common that he can be in Brooklyn, so when he is and the two of them can be alone, they will not stop touching each other for any reason. While he is not the best at comforting someone when they cry, often freaking out over what to say, resorting to humor, and sometimes making it worse, he is one of the littles first choices to go to if they have nightmares. He just holds them and lets them cry until they fall back asleep, sometimes humming gently to them (but don’t tell anyone!) Race loves his friends immensely, but sometimes has a hard time letting them know, so he resorts to annoying them. 

Albert: Albert is one of the least affectionate newsies. He grew up with several older brothers (he still helps provide for them and his father) and never really had personal space before, so he treasures it now that he lives at the lodging house. He is fine with someone knocking shoulders with him or a punch to the shoulder, just as long as people aren’t hanging off him all the time. The boys know he doesn’t like to be touched that much, and they respect that most of the time, but sometimes someone will still put their arm over his shoulder without thinking. When that happens, Albert pretty much just lets it slide, but will nudge them off/step away if they don’t get off of him after a minute. He’s fine with Race touching him pretty much whenever though, especially because he knows that Race will respect his boundaries if he ever asks him to stop, even if it is a bit annoying at times! He will often through his arm around Race, but not really anyone else. While people often see Albert as closed off and have a hard time getting past his resting bitch face, he has a huge soft spot for the littles. He makes a point to check in with each of them everyday, often walking around Manhattan to see how their selling is going, if they need help, and to make sure they aren’t getting distracted. Everyday when he is finished selling and goes to the circulation desk to turn in his bag he always waits until each of the littles has made it back until he goes home. He can often be seen walking with a gaggle of littles following him, fighting over who gets to hold his hand or be carried next. He always makes sure that they are eating well enough and has been known to go nearly a week without food in the winter to make sure they all had something for dinner before Jack realized what was going on and stepped in. Albert also helps tuck them in at night, especially when Jack is at the theater late or is extra busy. The most physical affection Albert shows is normally a side hug or clapping someone on the shoulder if they’ve had a rough day, got into a fight, etc. (Crutchie was very surprised to get a full on hug from him when he got back from the Refuge) Albert doesn’t show his love for his friends the same way most of them do. Love and family are very hard concepts for him to grasp, as his brothers never treated him well, his mother left them for a young business man, and his father has been borderline abusive ever since, all while saying they loved each other. The only time he has ever said he loved one of the newsies was when Race got really sick one winter and it didn’t look like he was going to make it. The two of them have never spoken of it since. The most common way Albert shows his love is by noticing small things his friends like such as a certain seat at Jacobi’s, Finch’s favorite birds, or that one sandwich that Elmer likes and trying to clue them in when its available. He tries to be very subtle though and denies it if someone calls him out on it. Another very common thing for him to do is to tell the other boys to take a break if they’ve been selling a long time in the sun, if they are clearly stressed, or obviously sick. Albert saying to take a break is about the closest thing to an “I love you” that you can get.

Romeo: Our favorite hopeless romantic is pretty high on the scale of how affectionate the newsies are, but still not near JoJo and Jack’s level. Its not uncommon at all for him to walk up and give someone a hug, but he normally does it at the end of the day as people are getting back after selling as opposed to any other time. He is often a tired cuddler, but more often than not he is just pouty when he’s tired. One thing that is very common for him to do is to wrap his arms around someone and lean his head on their shoulder as everyone hangs out at Jacobi’s at the end of the day. His all time favorite thing to do is run up and grab someone’s hand while they walk and start swinging their hands inbetween them. The people he does this most often with are Les, Elmer, Crutchie, and Specs. Les and Romeo always end up swinging their hands as hard as they can and have been scolded by Davey several times for almost hurting someone. Elmer normally starts skipping with him, swinging their arms and seeing how fast they can go while keeping their steps in time, both of them sporting the dumbest gins the whole time. Romeo thinks its funny to do it to Crutchie because he is somehow almost always surprised (never opposed to it though). After his initial startled jerk, Crutchie normally just smiles at him, squeezes his hand a few times, and keeps walking. Specs is of course his favorite. Specs always gives him the warmest smile that makes Romeo melt every time and brings their intertwined hands up to place a kiss on the back of Romeo’s hand causing him to squeak and blush. Romeo also likes to hold hands with Jack, but Jack changes it to putting and arm around him while skipping down the sidewalk. One of the main ways Romeo shows affection is by randomly complementing/fliting with the boys. Most of them find it mildly annoying, but put up with him randomly popping up to tell them that their shirt really makes their eyes pop, and wow Finch, you should wear short sleeves more often. His other favorite thing to do is steal people’s hats. If their is a fight going on at the lodging house over a hat, 9 times out of 10 Romeo is the one who started it. He has gotten in trouble with Race a couple of times by stealing his cigars, but he knows Race wouldn’t actually hurt him. He and Race are very close, and Romeo often ends up climbing down from his bunk and slipping into Race’s below him. Ever since Romeo became a newsie he started seeing Race as an older brother, and while they’ve only acknowledge it once or twice during a midnight heart to heart and Race sometimes acts like he hates him by day, the two of them always look out for ad love each other very much.

Ok so after looking through the Ahsoka tag for a bit it seems pretty clear that there is quite a split between the fans that liked her, the fans that hated her and the fans that belive she shouldn't have been in mandalorian in the first place

I'm still not entirely sure where I stand on the whole thing but I can say that I'm somewhere in the middle of it all as I neither absolutely loved or hated the appearance but a do almost wish that she had stayed in animated for purely bc I still cant belive that shes actually in live action and it doesnt feel real to me which is an issue that I think will likely fade as time passes. I think part of this problem is the voice as Ashley (to me and Im sure to many others) will always be my Ahsoka and anyone can see that she absolutely adores the character, which is very important to me. I can see why Rosario was chosen for the role as her face is similar to Ahsoka's in s7 of tcw but if the whole reason to bring ahsoka into the live action universe because she is such a loved character then Ashley would be perfect bc of her attachment to the role and shes not only a voice actor but a live action actor too. I think that Ashley playing her wouldve removed some of my apprehension towards the performance. I cannot imagine how she mustve felt when she learnt that her beloved character was going to be given to somene else. This is not to say that Rosario didn't do a decent stab of the role but she just doesn't know the character like Ashley does. Not to mention the fact that I really dont like the fact that Rosario got the role despite the allegations against her bc thats just wrong and I cannot suport anyone who is transphobic even if they're playing one of my favourite characters. All they've succeeded in doing is making me and a lot of people upset because they've given our character to a transphobe.

Theres been a lot of hate and unrest about the lekku and montrails situation as well and I admit that when I first started the episode I was shocked that they weren't much bigger but then I realised that this was almost certainly due to the fact that moving about like Ahsoka does with a giant headdress on is really not practical and the concept art at the end proves this as you can see that they were suposed to be bigger. I supose there is an argument that cgi is an option but one of great things about star wars is due to how much they use actual physical costume and I much prefer the fact they made do with a smaller one than have them cgi something. I'm a cosplayer and I'm planning an Ahsoka cosplay at the moment and I fully intend to disregard the live action lekku and montrails but that because I've become used to the rebels look and I just like being extra and making giant headdresses but undoubtedly there are people out there who want to make her live action look and that is very valid. Everyone has their own preferences and things they like and to be honest the thing about live action Ahsoka that upset me the most was not the actual look, its fact that I knew how people were going to react to it. Its valid to hate them. Its valid to like them. Please dont attack people who dont have the same views as you.

Whilst all of the above may seem like I didnt like the episode and the appearance but that is not true. I absolutely loved that opening scene in the woods and I will stand by that as one of my absolute favourite scenes in live action star wars. The silhouetted Ahsoka with her DUAL WHITE LIGHTSABERS (hehehe can you tell I liked them?)? Absolutely stunning. I have to admit that the lightsabers were my favourite part of the entire episode and damn do I wish I had money bc I realky really just wanna be able to swing those lightsabers around but thats beside the point. To any clone wars/rebels fan, the choreography may seem slightly off but we knew that we wouldn't be able to see Ahsoka doing her full acrobatics in live action. We do, after all and somewhat unfortunately, have to adhere to the laws of physics but I know from friends who havent seen the clone wars thought she was so badass that I had to smile bc the mandalorian has succeeded in getting them interested in my favourite character and if they watch the clone wars then they are in for a treat. I do wish we had seen more of her reverse grip but thats my only big complaint about the whole thing (aside from the fact that of all the people in the world they got a transphobe to play her). Its possible that there was more footage of her using it but for whatever reason it had to be cut out in editing, maybe because other shots looked better visually.

All in all, Ahsoka is Dave Filoni's baby and I trust him to look after her. If he is content with her portrayal then I am happy to keep watching.

The most important thing I want to say is that can yall PLEASE stop being horrible to each other about your opinions and whether or not you liked it or not. You're allowed to disagree without being horrible ya know.

Hosea and Dutch sit at the shore of the Owanjila lake. As the suddenly see a huge head poke out of the water. I looks like a dragon head coverd in dark green fish scales. It had bright white eyes and two big horns on it's head. It has two long fin thingy's on the side of its head. And then it dive under again. There they can see a long snake like body. But much bigger and with fins then and there on both sides. And green scaled spikes go all over it's back. Short before the end of its tail they stop. And behind it's huge head they start. Both man can't believe their eyes.

And then the head pokes out the water again. This time it looks straight to the two man. It makes a dragon like sound. And reveal it's razor sharp teeth. It's eyes are framed by longer thin fins. It looks like eyelashes. And yes the monster is pretty close to them, so they can easily see it. Both man start to shake, and then they grab for their shotguns. But they aren't stupid. They don't aim it at the monster. It could easily rip them apart.

Both man can't belive it. The monster comes closer. Until their eye to eye. Both man start to shake more. This beast surely want to kill them! Why else should it come so close? That's it their last day. At least they die together.

He has also a shaky voice. Both man was never that afraid in their whole life. The beast is scarry, but still do beautiful and fascinating.

Both man are completely alone with the Sea Monster. They are in a remote place. And suddenly the beast power his head, and lock eyes with Hosea. Their faces only inches apart. Hosea swallow hart. And Dutch is afraid that his love will die. That the monster will rip his head of. Instead it start to sniff at him. And then it softly bump his head against Hosea's chest. Hosea look confused. What does it want? He slowly lift his shaking hand, and place it on the big snout of the dragon-fish-snake thingy. The monster close his eyes. And he carefully start to pet the SOFT and wet scales of the monsters huge head.

,,I think Leviathan is a good name for it." Hosea suddenly say.

While Hosea calm down a bit, Dutch look like he saw a ghost on the other hand. It dosen't look like it's about to harm them anymore. Hosea and Dutch no longer understand the world. Hosea is petting a goddamn Sea Monster and named it Leviathan. I mean what the heck! And then Leviathan look over to Dutch. He shyly lay his hand on the huge head. And then he slowly start to let it too. After a while, both man relax, and lay their shotguns down. This is simply amazing and impossible. Nogidy will belive them. They will think that they are crazy.

No it can't be! But it showed up again. Leviathan showed up again. He's close to shore. He lower his head, and softly bump his head against Hosea's bony chest. As softly as the beast can manage.

,,I can't belive it! It wasn't a dream Dutch." Hosea say in disbelief.

Meanwhile he pet Leviathan's head again. It isn't a dream. It's real. They are not crazy! At least not to much. Luckily. Then Dutch pet the monster.

,,Hey big boy." Dutch greet him, like he would greet a dog or his horse.

Leviathan nods in agreement. So he's really a boy.

So both man are friends with a Sea Monster now. Both man still can't belive it. But from that they on they visit Leviathan a lot. And it turned out that Leviathan saved their lives verry often. They also find out that Leviathan is only tame towards them or people they really trust.

He was not a genius--he was a fucked up, insecure, opportunist of a coward. He was in no fucking way handsome or good looking--he looked like every basic, normal ass white guy from the 70s. I'm so against any other sort of film being made about him, especially in the tone they seem to be portraying everything in. And those of you out there who are doing it--stop sexualizing the bastard!!! Aight I'm done next question.

The worst injury you've ever had?

When I was six I had gotten accidentally hit in the head with a balloon weight and there was a decent sized small hole that was dangerously close to my eye. I didn't need stitches, just some glue and gauze to cover it up. The area was really sore and sensitive afterword though.

Not any new ones aside from what I reblog on here 🤣🤣.

Do you tend to hold grudges?

Yeah I do and I'm not proud of it. It just takes me a while to get over things, especially of my emotions are involved. Working on letting go though.

Oh boy, here we go bitches.

So as an intro to this, I said bout last oc post in Qiran's part that their fam was full of mages n shit, but also some of em weren't, n since they do have magic istelf Imma do more parts (3 parts)

First part- how does It all work (Humans/Mages)

First of all, not all of em have a connection with magic, for example Evelyn doesn't at all while Lyva does but only through a magical item so It doesn't really count.

Other then that, if you're born you can either be born with some kind of magic, or simply not. It all depends from your family's lineage, for example If you come from a family of mainly rougues it's hard to get some kind of magical power, while if your parents have both some kind of power or even if it's only one of em, it's more likely you'll end up with something really similar, or a mixture of the two. (In case both of your parents have magical powers of any sort.)

It also depends on where you're living, for example If you'd be born from a cold place it's unlikely ya'd have magma magic rather than snow magic.

Between humans/mages the system Is kinda the same, but that does change for Hybrids/Demi gods/anything that isn't born between the same species.

Between humans/mages it's more of how their ancestors managed to treat its powers, as some got even destroyed for not being worthy of its usage, so If anything at this point and time they're lucky about getting somethin.

Mages are far more cautious about It, having both a lot of hidden knowlege about spells or even origins of some types of magic, though that being the most "common" ones, (for example fire, water ect.), because it's not only them of course, there's far more variants and all are different from eachother.

They can also get stronger by the worshipping of certain gods, which I don't think I will really talk about, at least in this post. (And also because they're still a wip of mine)

But the gang until now really never relied on any of them, or at least Lyva/Rui n Naexi never really did, while the others absolutely did. This Is also why I will do another post as a sorta of a part 2.

Anyways back on topic, most people in all parts of my oc world aren't used to worshipping anymore, or at least a great part of It, mainly because of a loss of knowlege about anything about them.

It's kind of taboo even mentioning most gods names, as they fear something will go wrong if they would (*ahem*being suspicious n allarmin the cult*AHEM*). In fact it's hard to get on most religions because the only remains of It are extremely either hidden, or destroyed in the meanwhile.

I wanna say that another reason because the worshipping stopped Is also because of Rui's cult. Yes, remember that?

It's gonna be talked about on its own post, but let's just say that for them, it's a safe way to restrain anyone knowing far too much about how everything works.

They're the only ones owning most stuff about different coltures to avoid having them against their side,

If there's no worshippers, no knowlege, n more weak magic because people don't strengthen them, who's gonna go against em? (It'll turn out to be the shittiest idea they've ever had but that really did work for the longest time.)

Oh I think i forgot to mention this, but since magic goes lineage to lineage, It also weakenens as generations pass by, as THAT'S the reason they absolutely need those texts.

That's also the reason most humans struggle w keepin magic. Mages can manage, though it's a small portion, since sometimes not even what they've learned over generations works anymore.

Second part- how does It all work (Hybrids/Demi gods n stuff)

Oh boy, so, I'm also gonna use Shou n Naexi a lot here, so bear w me. As I said earlier, it's different from em, since it's not about lineage at all.

Apart that the union between different species Is both a taboo n seen as something "ashaming",so even if they had a child It was more likely they'd Hide It or leave It behind. So it's already a really, god-awful situation for them.

The magic works kinda randomly, in the sense that since the hybrid's nature is seen as unstable to begin w, there's no real critere to handle how the child born Is gonna turn out to be.

Sometimes it's really hard to notice, having yeah some features but can be hidden really easly, but other times Is just, a real mess between the two species, n the magic Is also uncontrollable, especially during their first years of life.

For example, in Shou's case he used to really switch a lot between em, that being the reason he later on prefers not to switch, n havin to learn as soon as possible how to learn how his magic n form would work w It, having again a lot of preassure comin from people he knew.

This Is unfortunatly a really common situation between most hybrids. And there's also no choise.

If you as an hybrid can control magic w/o anything to rely on then you can live, while if you cannot do It, it's a matter of time before you'd get zoned out by everyone and everything.

This Is a big issue, other than having everything fucked by the cult but that's another story.

Aight now bout demi-gods, they're also really not seen well. Most of them prefer not to interact at all with anything that Is not godly related, and in fact, most of em even refused to adknowledge their mortal parent, since they all have resentment over the sudden disappereance of all belivers.

If anything Naexi Is a weird one at that, as they did have a suddent interest in humans and ungodly creatures, though still recognized about how cruel any of them could've been, especially she's a demi-god and has a bad reputation at that.

The magic system Is relatively simple, they just get a certain amount of power from their god parent and are actually pretty capable of controlling them in confront of Hybrids.

That mainly comes from a special connection w their god parent's power, so in theory they're sort of devoted to them.

I wanna expand this when I'll do the gods post n finnaly introduce some of em (And potentially Naexi's mother👀), so I'll not go beyond this atm.

Third part- Magical items/weapons

Aight onto another important part, which Is basically how tf would that work. We have that comin from Qiran's sword n Lyva's earrings, so they'll also be later on disscussed bout.

Even though it's a tough and long procedure, you can transport some of your own magic onto somethin as ordinary as an hat or as sharp as a dagger.

This Is being mainly used in emergency situations, as that energy can eventually be re-used later on by its user.

The user can be changed as long as there's a deal between both parties, whether that being a gift, buying It, or anythin up to them really.

It can also be a great way to hide mage's power, since there are some parts where they arent exactly that respected, so they could blend in with normal humans.

In fact, Qiran does that continiously thanks to their sword, daggers and other lil weapons, and they keep a big part of It there, to seem rather a normal knight/adventurer rather than havin somethin supernatural goin on.

They have a great holdo it since their father did make them learn to fulfill their request to be freerly goin round.

With Lyva it's not really different, even if she kinda stole It n there wasn't really a deal at that moment, but before runnin away from everyone n everything she convinced her mother to give her something that she could use to defend herself, since they were never around and when they were, they would've kinda avoided her.

Oh, and to add this, you could also curse an item. It's a way to mainly punish since ,well, it's a curse,

and makes the user either completely obsessed with the object itself or makin them do somethin w/o any type of consent, whether physical or emotional.

In some cases It can also be a torture tool. Though, as some recent stuff happened, they're somewhat hard to find.
