I rewatched ep 10 here are some thoughts:

We knew Jin took the video but he is an unreliable narrator, I don’t think he leaked it even if he said he did. Someone else leaked it but who? It would be such lazy writing because we, the audience, already saw Jin had Twitter on white mode and the video was leaked by someone who had dark mode. Why would the writers miss something so obvious? Anyway.

I understand Phee’s POV (if he’s being truthful): he did not sign up for murder nor did he know what he was really getting into. It’s also a very human thing to fall in love again and I liked that they played this card as well (not because I care for this ship or for any other ship tbh but because it such an earthling thing to do. “I love you despite of it all & i fell for you even though this started as a lie & we are both flawed & we are both guilty” bla bla bla. Love it and I will eat it up each time) Phee in this case plays the role of some of the audience (an important part of the audience is on New/Tan’s side regardless, while the rest is thinking this is too much and he needs to be stopped. There are also people who see them as simply gray characters and think that none are pure and aren’t taking any sides because they think it's pointless, but the writers don’t care about them imo. They want the first two categories to fight in the trenches about who’s right and who’s wrong and miss important details along the way - because we want so badly for some characters to deserve what they are getting).

White. We don’t know who White is and it’s been 10 episodes. This is supposed to be a slasher/thriller/murder mystery and the writers made sure we love him and hate his boyfriend Tee. But the actors said in several interviews that White is very similar to Tee and also described him as vain. Now why did they do that? The writers made sure the audience hate Tee. Now that could mean 1000 things. Maybe they are playing into the narrative: White is a colateral victim, Tee was a shitty kid but a kid too who was the product of the very bad adults around him & although he is flawed look how much he loves White. They already gave us fluffy flashbacks episode with PheeNon & Pheejin. Are we getting another one with TeeWhite this late in the show? I don’t think so. White remained spotless ‘till now but I feel a twist coming. He is probably related to someone very important or withholds some very important information from us, the audience. Are they gonna explain to us White and Phee’s little moment in the beginning of the show? That had to mean something. Some people say White is just a colateral victim. Because we saw already that New doesn’t care if people who weren’t directly involved die. So I see why people believe that as well. But White is one of the main characters so I don’t think he is just a damsel in distress.

Phee is also an unreliable narrator. He thinks New did all that but he doesn’t know all the details. Phee at this point knows less than the audience and is showing us what he thinks is true. What we saw half of this episode is what Phee thinks happened, but New is telling the audience nothing so we can't be sure.

New never trusted Phee. He already warned him 2 years ago, he already saw how his dynamic with Jin would play out, he predicted a lot of his moves, he used him but did not tell his real plan (and why would he? New wants the world to burn he has no time for feelings).

More people are going (and need) to die because this is a slasher. They have 2 episodes to kill pretty much everyone and I wanna be entertained. I want this to go out with a bang.

Also this is just my opinion and burning desire but i want a big reveal. I don't want the big reveal to be that Tan is New because it wasn't a big reveal for the audience (who already saw it coming) and it surely was not a big reveal to the other characters involved.

happy 2 year anniversary to my beautiful child known as "bacillus anthracis and the melancholy of it all"

today genuinely snuck up on me, much like my tranniversary. last night, a handful of minutes away from midnight, i realized that two years ago to that very moment i was scrambling to compile everything for my bandcamp page so i could release it exactly at midnight on 2/22/22. i still can't believe we pulled it off.

it's hard to know where to start when talking about this album. it's the first album i've ever made, though i had released some EPs under a different name a few years before i ever started on baatmoia. however, this is the first project of mine that was consciously made as its own self contained thing from start to finish. my goal was simply to make "a shoegaze album" and let that be whatever it ended up being. as i continued working on it, i felt it begin to form into something unique and distinct from its parts - it wasn't a collection of songs i put together in an EP, this was daring to evolve into a separate being.

parts of me are dying to talk more about its production and parts of me are fighting to keep our mouth shut. i fully intended this (and all further projects) to be something you explored yourself with only a little guidance from us. that's why baatmoia's lyric sheet looks like this:

i like hearing what people think we're singing - i grew up listening to gorillaz and it turns out that blue haired cunt was mumbling and making shit up on the spot half the time. but it was always fun to try to figure out what he was saying, and arguing with other fans over which common set of lyrics was "correct" and what it implied for the song's meaning. i want to recreate that, but i also want to reward you if you try to actually figure it all out. i think it's only fair.

this album also got me a cold email about doing a run of tapes (which sadly are no longer available) and then a music video on top of that (i still don't know how this happened).

and if i can be honest, i am so glad the reception to baatlnoyl wasnt like that. i fully intended baatmoia to not even make a ripple in the pond of music, so this strong of a positive reception kinda threw me for a loop. we skidded into my deadline for baatlnoyl (11/11/22) and are still recovering from that burnout, but we're finally feeling the energy again to continue working on baatdbu. if there's one thing i can say about baatmoia is that approaching it as if only i would really ever hear it was what got it to be as good as it is (which i suppose is up to you to decide).

which is all to say, this one album set my life on a completely different path than i thought i was going to be on. and we're all the happier for it. so i think it's only fair that i break my usual practice of not praising myself or my work to say: i think what we made is pretty neat, and we'd appreciate it if you checked it out. here's the visual album that i intend for you to watch on a CRT at 2:22am. ok?

ok so we're only a couple eps in but i am already <333 about so many of the characters. bucky and crosby especially my beloveds. i really love all the comparisons being drawn between bucky/nix buck/winters and crosby/webster but i also love how the mota boys are distinctly their own characters. i don't want to say they're cocky and full of themselves because like... some of the easy boys are too lmao. but it's a very different dynamic between the characters than i'm used to seeing in the other hbo war shows and i am living for it

on that note i was a bit wary about most of our main charas being officers but after 2 eps i don't mind a bit! honestly sometimes it's hard to tell rank with all their goddamn fleece lmao but i love how despite being a literal honest to god major bucky is still so chaotic. bless him. the singing scene took me out, and the bike race when they crashed and he and buck were like pulling at each other's clothes to try and get in the lead before the air raid siren went off..... cinema.

crosby is such a silly goose thank you for the silly goose representation. he really works as the narrator and i love him bc he is genuinely so relatable, my overthinking bestie. also him still being starry eyed over his wife signing her name mrs jean crosby oh my word.......... it's giving harry dragging his reserve chute halfway around europe for kitty's wedding dress <333

i also really love the variety of characters/roles in the war they're showing! there's obviously more scope to do that than in bob but also it's a different television landscape and i am so excited to see ncuti on my screen <3 i hope we get a lot more of lemmons too! i can't remember who made the post but someone compared him to doc roe and i was like OH that's why i liked him so much uh huh uh huh. so true. also NINETEEN YEARS OLD?

i had a hard time adjusting to austin butler in ep 1 but he really pulled through in ep 2 for me and i'm very keen to see where he takes the character! and i have LOVED callum turner since channel 4's glue (which i watched a fucking decade ago but still think about bc of how powerful it was and he was in it) and he is absolutely killing bucky. it's giving nix without impulse control. honestly all the cast are amazing, the only one i really struggle with still is isabel may as buck's gf......... i literally cannot see her as anyone but katie from alexa and katie, so in my mind she's literally still a 15 year old girl. but who knows, she could win me over in the future

the score and title sequence are so good too!!! the pacific still has my absolute fav opening titles and band is second but even though the score is obviously new it still feels a bit... nostalgic, i guess? similar vibes to the other shows and i am HERE for the way it makes me feel <3

there's like so much more but that's all i can put into words rn. cannot WAIT for the rest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi, have you heard the rumor that apparently a leaker revealed that mappa permanently shelved ice adolescence? i've seen that someone made a petition for mappa to say something about the movie but honestly i really don't think that's going to do anything :( it kinda makes me wanna cry thinking about how or why the franchise ended up this way, it was HUGE and everyone was so excited for the movie and i just know mappa could still make tons of money if they'd ever release it. i'll never stop loving yuri on ice and its fandom but i just can't help but think it deserved so much better.

I have not seen it and I do not usually believe leaked info like that but it feels believable. We're already in the middle of the year. I really don't believe there's a production going on. My common sense tells me that if there were any type of production we would get some type of promotion; posters, merchandise, VA projects, etc. something major is going on/went on in production that's for sure. It's difficult to understand why such a money making IP would do radio silence like this, to the point hey can't even put together a short manga like in welcome to the madness, or do another Sanrio collab, CD drama? anime café? the fact that we're not getting even those says to me this is canned.

As to why the entirety of YOI seems to be canned and not just Iceado I seriously have no idea, I cannot understand this decision other than this is something to do with it's creators. It would be one thing if yoi ended and that was it, story was over, but to go as far as to say "see you next level" and announce a movie, it's fair to say they had plans for yoi beyond the original 12 eps. YOI was highly successful, best selling anime of 2017, best selling blue ray discs in 2018, bunch of awards, It trended #1 on Tumblr and twitter every Wednesday, when was the last time we've seen something like that happen with other anime? only the biggest of the biggest trend with every episode (aot, jjk, demon slayer, etc) and yoi was pulling those numbers. I stand on my theory that if it were up to Mappa we would be on Yuri on ice season 3 with 2 movies and OVAS by now (7 years later) but this is something to do with Kubo, Sayo and the production team. perhaps they don't want to continue with this project, perhaps they got burnout. But I wanna make a point that I made in the essay I posted some time ago about my suspicions on what happened to YOI. The fact that Yoi was a big money making IP does not guarantee fast input of related media. look at Hideki Anno with EVA: 3.0+1.0, It's a Huge, popular property that makes a lot of money worldwide and still it took 9 years for the final movie to come out! Hideki experienced severe burnout, people who worked closely to him left the production and the whole experience severely delayed the project (this is what I've found on my research) People thought the last EVA movie was canned as well, and this was purely on the basis of the creator because the numbers were there, so the fact that it's taken this long for new YOI content does not mean it's canned forever, but it does appear that the project is in indefinite hold. I, myself am finding peace with this. I've accepted that the project is on hold perhaps forever, perhaps not. But I'm trying to find closure however I can. I do hope we get some kind of announcement though, I do find it kinda impolite to leave the fans in the dark like this.

I finally made it - after I spoiled myself in my work break a little bit, I barely made it till the end! - but now I watched Ep 3 of Only friends - and witnessed acting greatness and also a Barbenheimer happening.

So let's dig (ck - yes u Boston!) In:

Mew: I have still zero clue about him tbh. He might be fucked up differently I guessed multiple times. Is he innocence or is he a mess? He kissed Ray some time 2 years ago apparent? Was he drunk? Lot of questions! Books acting is so great shit...

Top: Force did such an amazing job it's so good. I really was (am???) so fond of the way Top is with Mew. He asks for consent, he let's him be (till Ton makes his moves...)...but he has that thing going on with Sand somehow? (Next Ep will be crazy omg - that Middle finger haha I loved that sm) also Top is so naive to believe a single shit Ton says? God. (The car scene alone had so many emotions in forces face...I can't with him. I love to hate him bc he just did that and we all know sb like him..I do..poor lost soul)

Ray: Khao is making him so desperately insecure and sexy and annoying and also lonely boy vibes with those big puppy eyes god man. Not just Sand is amazed (or what ever u may call it). All his scenes give me those vibes that when u in his hands u never get out alive...except Mew has him in his hands...man that's all so fucked up lol

Sand: I love how First plays him. I love his bratty attitude and the way he trys to life through his shit. Also his style love that (succer for band shirts urg) also he has that blanc space I can not fill for now. Either he is a trickster of his own or he is also a lonely puppy. The way Ray convinces him so easily..We will see...

Boston: he is a mess. An absolut ass. He makes his plans and executes them with no mercy. In his favour obv. He tells Ray to confess to Mew, gets Top to fuck him (he never bottom?? Is that the reason he likes Top?? Was he his first? Omg??) and tells Nick he hates drama just that he stays in line?? Oh my god. So fucked up. What a performance of Neo! Shit he does have chemistry with everyone?? My god I love to hate Ton but Neo has my heart really. This is amazing.

Nick: oh my boy. The twitter thing was so good. He is so naive..but as I blogged earlier..Nick put that voice record thing in Tons car, he connected the dots with the friends really fast and now he sees the truth of Boston...I am excited for his revenge, that will bring mess to everyone (because he tells Sand??? Shit even better) and also will fuck up Ton so much (deserved) that he will have nobody left (wild guess..) I am so excited for Mark to play this u don't know how much..

you wouldn't have known you'd be back in uni for an undercover case and now that you step foot into campus, you really want to go back to your desk. scaramouche can't seem to move on from the past and an encounter with someone offers you an opportunity to lead up the case.

warnings : slight angst if you squint, swearing, vulnerable scara (briefly)

a/n: arghhh hello!!! i know i posted ep 1 a few days ago but i can't help but post ep 2 today T-T might be late on updates for awhile since i'm currently in the middle of midterms so please bear with me~ happy reading!

you find yourself in scaramouche’s car.

“remind me again why do we have to do this?” you asked. “i mean, we could just simply go to the university ourselves, ask a couple of questions, and possibly catch the perp, all in one day if we’re lucky enough. i don’t see why we have to go undercover and stuff” you said while going through the case file. you looked over to scaramouche, who was driving.

he was wearing his usual long-sleeved light purple shirt and formal pants, the sleeves rolled up, donning with a lose tie, since work ended a few minutes ago.

scaramouche glanced at you before speaking, “you tell me. that woman always pairs me up with you for some reason. i’m against this case as much as you are. but knowing that witch, we’re not going anywhere until we solve this case. anyway, where are we headed? said you needed some things but i didn’t recall what you specified” he glanced at you again through the rear view mirror.

you took a moment to think. “ah, i just need a couple of stuff from the department store, and maybe make a grocery run for the dorm” you said, while typing out the list on your phone.

it’s been a few days since the tsaritsa informed you about the case, and you only have a couple days left to get ready.

“thanks for giving me a ride by the way. i could’ve brought my own car if it didn’t break down in the middle of the road” you said, slightly groaning at how you’ll need to spend a couple more hundred to fix it. i’ll need to buy a new car, you thought.

the car you have now was passed down to you by your father, meaning that it’s decades old.

“no problem, i guess. though, you’ll need to pay me for these rides. can’t be going anywhere in this car without paying. this car costed me a fortune and i don’t want you lounging in this freely” he smirked while saying, taking a turn to a corner.

“archons, you’re really getting on my nerves right now, asshole. can’t believe i'm about to stay in a room with you” scaramouche stopped the car suddenly.

“why the hell did you stop? the department store is still a few minutes away” you frowned.

“if you’re not gonna pay up i’m leaving you here. good luck getting to the department store” he said, amused by your reaction that's turning into shock.

“jeez— fine! i’ll pay up! no need to get all feisty and leave me here dude. can’t even go a minute without you being a complete douche” you grumbled, clearly not amused with his friendly threats.

scaramouche chuckled, continuing driving like nothing happened. “anything to make you suffer"

“do you think we look too old for uni?” you suddenly asked, pushing the shopping cart through the aisles. you’ve went to the department store to get your stuff a while ago, and now you’re in the grocery store with scaramouche, much to your distaste.

scaramouche raised a brow. “considering that you are about to turn 26, then yeah, you look too old to be in university” he said.

“dude, you’re like a year older than me, if anything the one that is going to look like a grandpa here is you” you retorted.

“nah, i have flawless skin. i look like i’m fresh out of highschool” he boasted, taking a cereal box from the aisle and putting it in the cart.

well, he wasn’t lying. everyone in the precint wished they had his porcelain skin, you included.

his face truly is one of his best features, you thought, staring at him a little bit too long. realising what you were currently doing, you quickly darted your eyes towards the cart.

ah, i shouldn’t be staring— especially at someone like him. you sighed, before speaking up.

“i think that’s all. we’ll do another grocery run tomorrow when we’ve arrived at the campus, just in case we forgot anything" you said, glancing at the cart.

"also, captain said it’d be nice to have a little tour around the university, just to look around and take notes on the environment. might be nice to get some fresh air, right?” you asked, turning to him.

“hmm, whatever. anything to make this go by quick” he mumbled, clearly disrupted with something else in mind.

you blinked, taking a few seconds to figure out what he was thinking about. immediately realising, you looked up at him.

“scara?”

“hm? what?”

you hesitated, thinking if it’s appropriate to ask him about it. “are… you really okay with this? i mean, after what happened last time… i didn’t think–“

“i’m fine” he interrupted you. you frowned.

“look, i just want to look out for you. it’s already been a year, scara. my leg is better than ever now, and the bullet wound on my shoulder is completely healed. i know you still blame yourself for it, but i’m really fine now" you paused.

"i still feel like you’re doubting this mission and feel like we should step down, but we’ll do okay. we’ve learned from our mistakes, we’ve matured, and we’re better now. no need to beat yourself up for something we both can’t control” you touched his arm, reassuring him.

he was silent for a couple of seconds. “yeah, um, sure. thanks, i guess” he muttered, scratching the back of his neck before pushing the cart away, heading to the cashier.

you sighed, i was the one who almost died, but you were the one who was hurt the most, you thought. leaving those thoughts behind, you caught up with him.

for a university that has a serial killer on the loose, the campus sure is ginormous. i feel like i can get lost here a hundred times and still won’t know the way, you thought, already feeling dizzy at the thought of getting lost.

scaramouche chuckled beside you. “man, i’d sure love to see you getting lost. might be the highlight of this mission” he stifled, trying so hard to not laugh at the possible image of you being clueless while trying to find your destination.

you smacked his shoulder. “shut up, dude. i know im clumsy and all, but i’m not that stupid” you turned away from him, looking over childe’s shoulder instead to look at the campus map.

“i still don’t get why he’s here. that woman could’ve sent anyone but him” scaramouche said sharply, rubbing his shoulder.

for a clumsy woman, she sure is strong as hell, he thought.

“because i’m her favourite obviously. i mean, who could resist me?” childe said confidently.

“yeah, clearly not because she likes sending you away on useless errands just to get your insufferable ass out of the precint” you snickered, scaramouche slightly smirking at your words.

“whatever. i’m the one helping you two anyways” he pouted. “look, your dorm is over here” he pointed out in the map.

“here are the keys. make sure to update us on leads at the end of the day everyday. i’m sure you both will do great, you guys aren’t the best detectives in the department for nothing, amiright?”

“sure, whatever. you can go now, we can handle it from here” scaramouche said, taking the keys from childe before heading to the dorms.

“thanks again for the help, childe. i owe you one” you turned to him. “uh huh, and that is setting me up with someone from your circle!” childe grinned, placing his hands on his hips. you groaned.

“hell no. i already told you everyone from my circle are either in an established relationship or married. anything but setting you up, go on tinder or something dude” childe pouted, giving you the puppy eyes.

“please y/n! there must be someone, for archon’s sake, please! i’m begging you, i need someone. i swear this will be the only thing i'm asking from you! you owe me one, you said it yourself!” he begged.

“oh my— fine! i’ll try to find someone for you, but no promises that i’ll actually find someone” you huffed. childe screamed, almost girl-like, “ah! thank you so much y/n! you really are the best, i know i can always rely on you!" he hugged you tightly. “ugh, whatever. anything to get you off my back” you patted his shoulders.

“are you two finished? i do not have the time to witness this any longer” scaramouche shouted, a few feet away from you and childe.

“well, that’s my cue. i’ll see you in a couple of months, buddy. make sure to take note on everything that’s happening in the precint. it’d be a good laugh for me once i’m back” you said.

“oh yeah, take care of scara’s cat too. i feel like he’s already told you all about it though” you looked at scaramouche.

“sure did, even gave him miko’s eating schedule and all. also gave him a heads up if anything happens to her” said scaramouche.

“ah, about that… um yeah i’ll be sure to keep in mind” childe sweated. “see you soon y/n, stay safe and keep a low profile. oh! and also...” childe leaned over to your ear.

“check up on him once in a while, would you? ever since what happened last time, he’s always been reluctant to take up on long period undercover missions".

"he’s comfortable with you the most out of all of us, even if you guys are sworn enemies or whatever relationship you two currently got going on” he whispered.

“sure, i guess i’m kinda worried about him too. feels like i should be responsible for all of this” you whispered back.

“anyways! i should get going now, have fun without me and scara” you said, carrying your bags and catching up with scaramouche, who’s waiting with his arms crossed.

“i’ll definitely miss your daily arguments! the precint is gonna be real quiet without you two!” childe shouted. he huffed, looking at you two going off your ways. looks like i have a lot to do, he sighed.

“well, that’s about all the stuff we brought” you said, wiping off the sweat on your forehead with your sleeve.

“archons, i forgot how tiring uni can be. feels like my bones are about to snap any second” scaramouche groaned, flopping onto the couch.

“when do we start? our classes, i mean” you asked, joining him on the couch.

“on tuesday, that’s in 3 days” he paused, leaning his head back while one of his arms rested on his forehead. “we still have more time to get ready and get to know the campus, meet a couple people, while also keeping an eye out on the perp. what’s the suspect’s name again?” he asked.

“um, name’s viktor, i think” you said, picking up the case file on the coffee table. sitting crossed-legged on the couch, you plopped the file on your lap.

“yup, viktor stepanov. takes psychology and mass communication here. archons, i can’t believe a grad student like him is out brutally killing people left and right” you muttered.

“well, there’s billions of people in teyvat, with different personalities and lives, this wouldn’t come off as shocking to me” scaramouche shrugged, leaning over towards you to look at the file.

“what class did you apply for?” you questioned, looking over at him, who’s a tad bit close to you. personal space much, you thought.

“psychology and criminology, you?” he asked, leaning back to the couch.

“mass communication and criminology, figured it wouldn’t raise much suspicions if i applied for a different class” you said. “same for you, right?”

“yeah” he replied.

it was quiet for a while. you sighed, slouching on the couch. not having crazy and childish banters with scaramouche once in a while sure is peaceful, you thought.

all of those positive thoughts soon vanished away when the short male suddenly speak up.

“dibs on getting in the bathroom first!” he stood up, quickly running off towards the only bathroom in the dorm. you jolted, looking at him from the couch.

“you little shit! i told you i was going in first when we were in the car!” you yelled.

“too bad, better luck next time loser!” he yelled back, before shutting the bathroom door.

you sighed, give me a break, for celestia's sake. you looked over at the clock on the wall. 3.17 pm, you read. i should go take a walk around the campus and get some fresh air, you thought.

who knows, i might make a couple of friends. you stood up, taking your keys, your phone, and some cash, just in case you needed drinks or snacks.

you knocked on the bathroom door.

“scara i’m gonna head out for a while and take a walk, need anything?” you asked. you heard the shower stop and scaramouche’s voice popped up.

“nope. get lost” you almost cursed him. calm down, y/n. “okay, whatever. i’ll be back in an hour or less, text me if you need anything” you said.

not even waiting for his reply, you walked over to the front door and left.

the campus is awfully quiet for a saturday afternoon. leaves rustling, the fall breezes gently blowing, and a couple of students walking around, chatting away with their friends and partners. it sure has been a while since i last stepped foot in a campus, you thought, briefly reminiscing your uni days from a few years back.

leaning back on the bench, you sighed, taking in the scenic view in front of you. closing your eyes, you tried clearing your mind off.

“ah, hello?” a voice popped up. you opened your eyes, looking over towards the voice. he had dark brown hair, green eyes and wearing a simple t-shirt with sweatpants.

“uh, hi? do you need anything? you asked. he looks fairly familiar, but i can’t pinpoint it.

“oh, nothing! i just saw you alone here and thought i’d say hi” he replied. “are you new here? i don’t think i’ve ever seen you around campus” he continued.

you gave a slight smile. “yeah, just got here an hour ago. the campus is pretty big, isn’t it? looks like i’m gonna get lost for the first few weeks” you chuckled, sparking up the conversation.

“i’m luna” you said, remembering the fake name you made up with scaramouche last night. “what about you?”

“viktor. viktor stepanov. a pleasure to meet you”

Summary: After being in a coma for two years Vash wakes up, not being able to remember Anything that has happened since he was “a teenager”. How is he gonna adapt to living in a world so strange and unfamilliar? By getting a haircut! (Stampede timeline and set After ep 12 btw)

Vash had an odd dream that night. He was riding a Thomas through an area of the planet he definitely had never seen before. Towards July, whatever that was. He was also followed by someone but had no idea who that was. Except that he was friendly and not an enemy.

So the first question he asked the doctor that morning was:

„What's July?“

„A month. But most importantly, the capital city of No Man's Land. Most of it got destroyed a few years ago but we rebuild it.“

And then followed a barrage of tests.

Blood tests, before breakfast.

A complete physical exam, after breakfast.

In that exam the doctor shone a light into Vash's eye and the staff in the room with him realised they were dealing with a Plant, which the doctor already knew.

For a moment Vash was very afraid and froze up.

The last time someone realised he was a Plant he got locked up.

The doctor already knew but what if the others would panic?

But nothing happened.

The exam continued as if everything was completely normal and Vash relaxed again.

„You are remarkably average for a Plant. I don't mean that in an insulting way. I mean that if I wouldn't have looked at your eyes the others would never have noticed. Your body seems to work just like a human's, only if a bit more efficient. Your blood is also really regular. Nothing odd to find there. Don't worry. We are not going to experiment on you. We just want to make sure you're healthy.“

Then Vash had to lie down in a weird white tiny tube that was loud and uncomfortable and he had to be very very still.

After lunch, which was finally some proper food (steak with overcooked broccoli and mushy fries but better than the glorified broth from yesterday), the doctor performed some tests to check Vash's brain.

He was hooked up to some weird machine and had some weird nubs stuck to his head and had to do various tasks that were pretty boring in a dark room only illuminated by the computer screen and a tiny night light.

And then he was basically free to go.

The doctor shook Vash's hand and smiled at him.

„Everything is looking good so far. I'll go over the details later and tell you more about it if you want. If not then that's fine also. According to the results we have you are in great shape for someone who just woke up from a coma.“

„Okay but what will happen with me after this?“

Vash had no place to stay. Or maybe he had but he can't remember.

The thought of being just thrown out onto the streets into a world he had no idea how to navigate made him so nauseaus he worried he might puke.

„Well, first of all you will stay here for about a week or so. We won't kick you out like that. We will try to figure out where you were living before you came here but more importantly we will organise a place in a rehabilitation group for you. You have a lot of stuff to relearn and they can teach you.“

And now Vash is sitting on a chair in his hospital room with nurse Karina („No Nurse today, just call me Karina. I'm not working today“) walking around him and fiddling with his hair.

„Any idea how you want it cut?“

„No, not really.“

„Hmmm....“ Karina walks around Vash some more.

It's really making Vash nervous, as if he is put on the spot. He wiggles around a bit.

„I got an idea! It's gonna look great, believe me.“

„Wait! What are you planning to do?“ Vash is ready to jump off the chair.

He's not gonna let his hair get messed up more than it already is!

„I'm not gonna give you a mullet! I want to shave the sides and back and leave the hair on top a bit longer. I think it would suit you and you definitely are gonna look much younger.“

Vash is sceptical but okay. He's gonna pout the whole time though. „But if it looks stupid I will eat you.“

„Ooooh~ I'm so afraid~“ Karina says in a sing-song voice.

She starts by combing his hair thoughroughly.

„Maybe I should give you a mullet after all...“ „Don't you dare!“

The combing feels really nice though.

Vash relaxes a little. The hand that had previously gripped the chair like it's going to launch into space dangles to the side now.

„You look like you're going to purr any moment.“ Karina teases.

„I don't purr. I'm not a cat.“

Karina continued combing for a while.

Before she started Vash's hair had felt kinda rough and gritty even though it was washed and clean. It had also been full of knots.

But after a while now it starts to become much softer.

Karina stops. There is a noise. A low rumble.

„You are purring!“ Karina exclaims and almost drops her comb in excitement.

Vash's eyes that somehow fell shut are now Wide Open and he stops all movement. He kinda wants to jump off the chair and hide under his bed in horror and embarrassment.

His hand is back to gripping the chair.

„Oh come on! This is so cute! I didn't know Plants can do that. I swear I won't tell anyone. Pinky promise.“

Karina holds her pinky out and Vash reluctantly links his with hers.

„I'm gonna get the scissors now and cut it shorter overall before I use the clippers. Also, I saw you're taking hormones?“

Vash freezes up a little.

„You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to. I was just curious.“

„Yeah I... uh... when I was younger... my mom.. thought my brother and me were girls. But uhm.. I realised I'm not. So when I got a bit older I was given hormones. I guess I've been taking them my whole life until now.“

„Oh you have a brother?“

„I don't know what happened to him though. We got seperated as kids...“

Karina is happily snipping away. Vash can't see what exactly she is doing but a whole lot of hair is falling down.

„So you're a transplant.“ „Huh..?“

„A trans Plant. I was trying to make a pun.“

„Oh. Uh.. I guess? Do you know what happens in a Rehabilitation Group? The doctor said I will be put in one.“

„Depends on why someone is in rehab. In your case you will probably do a whole lot of physical therapy. And occupational therapy. Which means that you will be taught how to do tasks independently so you can eventually live alone at some point. You know, cooking and cleaning and washing yourself and such. For two reasons in your case. One reason is that you need to relearn things you knew how to do with both hands that you now have to do with one. Or maybe you get a prosthetic later on and then you will train to do tasks with that. And the second reason is that you have to learn tasks that maybe you knew how to do before you lost your memory but now you can't do anymore cuz to the current you it feels like you never learned them in the first place. And maybe they will also try and see if you can recover a few memories. And you will probably get a therapist so you have someone to talk to. I can imagine that your situation is really A Lot to take in.“

Vash nods.

Karina puts the scissors aside and grabs the clippers.

„I will now trim the hair on the sides and your back really short. But I will cut off less than I usually do and then show you so you can guide me, okay?“

„Okay.“

The clipper starts buzzing and Vash thinks it feels super funny on his skin. Like a massage but much faster.

Both the doctor and Christine said that Vash apparently used to have a prosthetic, a really advanced one.

But no matter how hard he tries he just can't remember anything.

Maybe he will get a new one but that would probably be more simple.

Not that he had any metric to compare it to in the first place.

Karina chimes up again.

„Oki-doki let's have a look. Tell me what you think!“ She walks around Vash with a small mirror in her hand so he can see what she did so far.

„Can you go a bit shorter?“ „Sure can!“

After half an hour Vash has his first real haircut in two years and he feels so much better. Like an actual person.

He feels even better after washing his hair.

„So, how do you feel? What do you think?“ Karina asks after cleaning up the mess she left behind.

„Like a brand new Me.“

Karina giggles.

„That's great. You know what would be even better now? If you had some new clothes. Wanna look at some clothes? We don't have to leave the hospital for that we can do that online. I could get them delivered to my place in two days and then bring them to you.“ Vash is confused about this Online thing but he sits down next to Karina on the bed and watches as she takes the tablet-like thingie off his nightstand and turns it on.

It's not see-through like the ones he knew but otherwise seems to work really similar to the one Luida used. It looks less technical though and more intuitive. It's definitely not used for ship maintenance and other such things.

„This is yours by the way. But I see you haven't used it yet.“

„I don't know what it is used for. We had similar things on the ship but they were for maintenance only.“

„We really need to teach you more things so you can fit in better with everyone else at the rehab. Nothing sticks out more than a young guy who has no idea what a tablet and a phone is and gets spooked by the TV. You also need to get into music or video games or something.“

„Can I not tell them the truth? That I lost all my memories?“

Karina rubs her chin.

„Well... that would probably be the easiest way to deal with this. I bet they have seen weirder stuff there.“

Two hours later and now Vash knows at least the basics of how to use a phone and a tablet.

He also ordered a bunch of clothes.

Karina said he could treat himself and as long as he stayed below 120$$ it would be fine.

And man, Vash really needed everything.

There really were barely any clothes in the backpack he had on him. Just a few pairs of socks, two boxers and a shirt.

Seems like he used to travel light. Really really light. No idea if he never bought any clothes or if they got stolen or thrown away or whatever.

But the new clothes would take about two days to be delivered. So until then Vash has to be careful to not get the clothes he does have dirty.

Sadly Karina had to leave a little earlier, to babysit one of her friend's dogs but she would be back tomorrow anyway.

So Vash is sitting in the armchair in his room and watching videos online about taking phones apart and explaining how they work. It is honestly really interesting. The guy making these videos has a bunch of others about other electrical devices and Vash is itching to watch them all. And then to the side of the video player are even more videos about taking things apart or comparing them to each other.

An hour ago Vash didnt even know there were more than one type of phone and now he wants to watch a video comparing them.

He gets so excited his plant marks are starting to glow faintly which gives the entire room a soft blue hue in the light of the setting sun.

The staff here knows what he is so there shouldn't be an issue with this, right?

„Wow look at this battery capacity! Youre Not going to run out of power during the long bus rides across the Great Desert, that's for sure!“ the guy in the video praises.

Vash stops the video and switches over to his internet browser, opens a new tab (the other one is a history of long-distance communication) and types „bus“ in the search bar.

Every time he encounters a Thing in a video that he has no idea what it is he immediately starts looking it up. He really doesn't want to seem like a weirdo in rehab.

After looking at a whole lot of busses and reading a short description of what they are he deletes his search and does a new one.

„Great Desert.“

He continues this for almost an entire hour and gets completely lost in an article about computer parts (even though he only has a vague idea of what a Computer is) when someone knocks on his door.

It is Christine.

„Hey good evening!“ she greets him.

„Oh! Hi.“

Vash fumbles to pause the video and force himself to come back to the real world.

His plant marks also disappear instantly.

„I have some great news for you. Dr. Nichols and me just had a really nice phone call with the head of the local rehabilitation organisation. He's gonna send someone over tomorrow to talk to you about it. Don't worry we won't kick you out after that. You will stay here until next Monday. It is a pretty big organisation and you will stay there for a long while. So even if we cannot find out where you had lived previously you will have plenty of time to find a new home. They also have an open-ended dorm, should you decide that you like it there a lot. They specialise in mentally ill clients normally but also take on physically disabled people. And since you're a combination of both I think it will suit you fine. They do fun things there as well, it's not just therapy. Every patient that we recommended them to gave us great feedback so I think you will like it there.“

„Oh. Uh... Is it like a hospital too?“

Christine waves her hand around.

„No, no. It's way less formal. No nurses either. Or doctors. The person coming tomorrow will be able to tell you much more but what I can tell you is that in the first phase of your rehabilitation you will stay with others as a group in a dormitory of sorts. It's all small groups, I think around 5-8 people. You get your own room, don't worry.“

Small groups, huh. Vash wonders what he will do there all day. Hopefully there were some people in his age. Though, that makes him wonder what he actually means with that.

What do 28 year old's normally behave like?

Damn, he doesn't even have a job he can talk about!

They will think he's a big weirdo and then he won't have anyone to talk to and will be all alone again and-

„Vash? Hey Vash, please look at me.“

Christine puts a hand on his left shoulder.

His head turns around way too abruptly and he stares at her, pupils blown wide open.

If that startled her then she's not showing it.

„Take a few deep breaths please. And then tell me what made you so anxious.“

Vash tries to slow his breath down but isn't very succesful.

He didn't even realise he started hyperventilating.

„Is this going too quickly for you? Would you prefer to stay here for a bit longer?“

Vash shakes his head rapidly.

„No, that's not..“

Another way too deep breath. His head is starting to feel woozy and foggy.

„Are you worried about meeting other people your age?“ Bingo! He nods quickly.

Christine is rubbing slow circles into his shoulder.

„I understand your worry but... Everyone at those places is not where they are expected to be in life. You know, having a job and a family and living alone. Most people there don't have a job or a lot of friends. That's why they are there. To catch back up with life. Some people are very quick at that and some need more extra time but nobody will judge you for that. I'm sure they will be very happy to have you there.“

Vash's breath is slowing down and the fog that threatened to overtake his brain is starting to lift.

„Maybe I had all these things but I can't remember.“

Vash reaches for a tissue and blows his nose.

„I hope nobody is waiting for me to come back. To... somewhere.“

The soothing circles continue.

„Maybe one day you will remember. But maybe not. Who knows if you are even still the same person as you were before.“

„Huh... I don't know... Should I really think about stuff like this in the evening when I have to sleep soon?“

Christine bursts into laughter.

„Probably not. I'm sorry for putting that thought in your head. I hope you can push it away until tomorrow. I hope you can at least remember your family name until you're starting your rehab. Would be awkward without one.“

A family name, huh? They never mentioned them on the ship. Everyone was on first name only basis.

He was just Vash.

Nothing else, just Vash.

He couldn't even „borrow“ Luida's since he also doesnt know hers. But maybe...

„Oh I see you're using your tablet now. What are you watching? Show me.“

in general i am overly literal and what i see is what i get when it comes to show canon but i'm trying so hard to hold tight to the illusion in my mind that hell-torture for sam and dean didn't involve rape but they're making it really fucking hard. there's been other references, i think one in the last ep no less. just keep thinking to myself "gloss over it, they're just being edgy, they don't actually mean it". i start to get real upset if i think about it so yeah.

i know i'm wearing the wincest goggles but again i feel like i am capable of picking up what a show is putting down regardless of a ship i might be invested in, but i feel like i'm losing it with cas and dean's relationship level. i feel like we have seen so little of cas in general, that they keep TALKING about how they're all close but we've seen so little of it?? i'd think with 22 episodes a season they'd have room to establish this onscreen 🥴 but here's dean crying over presumed-dead cas. i guess i'm just gonna have to go with it and stop complaining about sHoW doN't TeLL

"So, this is my room?" I asked. Jake nodded and pointed at my key, then at the door. "It's written on it" he said shyly. He took the silver key I was holding in my hand and threw it on his bed. "I'm sure you're confused about all of this but don't worry, I'm here to be your guide". On the bed on the right, there was another number engraved, "1001" written in white on a dark brown wood. "Maybe, you could provide me some context, what's this place and why am I here" I said. The red light coming from outside unveiled in a blue light. "Well, I can't give an answer to all those questions, but you can find out who you are and learn how to live here" he explained. He sat on the bed on the left, crossing his legs. Our beds were kind of high, too high for Jake's feet to reach the ground. He seemed to feel embarassed by that, but it made me smile. "I don't know what your name is and since I couldn't remember mine either, I named myself Jake. If the guards give you a name, then you can't change it anymore. You have a limited amount of time... so that's what you have to know about names. If you want to know about memories, then you can't remember anything because before the Whites took us here, we were all dead". When Jake announced that, I laughed at him. I couldn't believe he was already trying to prank me, even with that serious look. His eyes fulminated mine, making me regret laughing so much.

"Can-can you explain that?" I asked. Jake didn't look annoyed, but used to see confusion and disbelief in people. "How did we die? How did I die? How is it possible for us to be alive?" I asked again. "I'm not sure, but I think the government fucked up the entire planet, there was this... this clan studying resurrection for centuries, they selected only young and healthy people to make sure we can claim our Earth back" - I was listening to every single word coming out from his mouth - "They study, scan, monitor us. I'll be honest, sometimes they can be very cruel but since you're a newbie, they won't bother you that much as long as you don't hurt the other guys". I was shaking and sweating listening to all of that. Even if I couldn't remember a thing, I was sensing something weird in the air there. "How can you talk about it so carelessly?" Jake smiled at me, straightened his legs and sighed. "I woke up here two years ago. I've seen shit, it is weird but I can tell that the idea of "normal" you have is different here. You'll get used to it".

As he said that, I started questioning myself. What was my life like before? The thought of beginning a new life scared me, even if I couldn't remember the past one. "Is it easy to get along with people here?" I asked, hoping in a positive answer. One thing I could do to settle in was making friends or try to communicate with the others. "I've made some friends, but we're not allowed to see them whenever we want, we only have some specific hours of the day" he explained.

In that moment, someone knocked on the door. I looked at Jake scared, but he seemed calm. What if the person knocking was the person who bit that guy of before? They knocked again, but this time they broke in directly. A boy dressed up in blue came in with a smile on his face, Jake welcomed him and I deducted he must've been one of his friends. Jake left his bed to greet the boy, hugging him quickly. Them both glanced at me, who was visibly confused. "Speaking of friendships" - Jake started - "He's Jay" he finally said pointing at the guy.

"What's your name?" Jay asked me, leaving me silent. I was going to open my mouth to answer, but nothing came into my mind. "She doesn't have one already" Jake replied for me as Jay sat next to me, facing Jake. "I heard you woke up today, such a bad timing, waking up to someone attempting a murder" Jay commented, chuckling. I was swept away by his confidence, he looked so intimidating. "You wanna know what happened?" Jay asked Jake, gaining our attentions. "What?" "About that Jungwon situation, I'm pretty sure Sunoo is involved. Last night, I saw them two sneaking in the morgue together but Sunoo only came back to his room" He explained, looking genuinely worried. "Did you spy on the security cameras again?" Jake asked. Jay nodded, proudly. Jake seemed to be very shocked. "Can you tell me what happened?" I asked, shyly. "As you heard today, someone tried to murder our friend, whoever tried it failed but no one knows where is the culprit or who they are" Jay replied to me. "You don't have to worry, the Whites will find the culprit soon" Jake reassured me with a sweet tone, but it was still hard to calm down. Jay looked down, just like when you feel a heavy weight on your chest. "Sometimes I wonder if my dad really had to pay that much to give me some useless privileges here. I could've been murdered yesterday. I hate it so much" he said with his voice craking from time to time. "Jay" - Jake called - "Are there any footages from the last floor? How come there are no cameras in the morgue?" he asked. "They only filmed the entrance" Jay answered. "If Sunoo's the one who tried to kill Jungwon, we could be the next"

Somehow, even though I haven't watched in years - and am 0% tempted to tonight - I've still got this tiny sliver of anxiety about the ending of The Blacklist. Is that crazy? It's like I know they can't possibly wrap up the story in a way I'll be happy or satisfied with (and after the 8th season I mostly gave up caring about what happens in "canon")...and yet I'm sure when I hear about what happened in the finale it's going to feel like one last, poorly written gut punch.

Hiya, anon ❤️ Ugh, can I just say that you summed up my tangle of feelings absolutely perfectly? 🥺 More specifically, no, that is not crazy at all. I am in the same place as you with not caring about any of it anymore - not since 8.22 ripped my fucking heart out - & I literally can't think of anything I'd like to do less than watch the series finale. But even in the years since 8.22, there was still that awareness that the show was still out there somewhere, even if I only heard drips & drabs, & I scoffed at it all, & I didn't give a tiny rat's ass what happened. And while that remains true, the fact that it's OFFICIALLY ending (despite the fact that it ended for us two years ago) is... a little sobering. For me, I think it's a reminder of the pain & grief of The Terrible Awful™️ 😓

Also, yes, anon, I completely understand the sliver of anxiety & dread... I felt the same thing when I heard that they were finally blessedly cancelled & again when I realized the last ep was coming up... I can only speak for myself, but I think it's bc I still care at least a little about Red &, deep down, I still want a happy ending for him, even though I fully believe he can't have one without Liz. But I have zero faith in TPTB & I'm sure they will make it a nebulous, "cool" ending with no real answers, like always, or they'll confirm godforsaken R*darina, or they'll just kill off Red because they're incapable of writing anything else. And I'm sure every other aspect of it will be disappointing, like Ressler being the hero or something (LMFAO) & it will be awful all around. I have no other expectations & I suppose I have to either accept it and/or ignore whatever happens AND/OR consider it all a crap AU & Lizzington as our canon. But the way you describe it, "one last, poorly written gut punch", perfectly describes how I feel. happy two years of enhypen. wow. can't believe i just wrote that. enha give me something to be excited about, something to look forward to, every single day. just listening to their music or watching videos of them or interacting with other engenes makes high school and awkward social stuff more bearable.

today - even though i'm writing this when it's 11/29 in my country - marks two years of enhypen, one of the biggest 4th gen kpop groups, a group that will definitely leave a mark in the industry. 2 years ago we got 'Given-Taken' and Border: Day One, and now they've released several successful EPs, an LP, a repackage, and a few Japanese albums. They've sung OSTs and gone on tour and done countless iconic performances - I'll never get over the "Legend of Kpop" performance. I'm so proud of how far they've come - I found them when they had six songs (including an intro and outro) and now they have.... i honestly don't even know how many, definitely above 40 though. along the way, they've developed a big fanbase and have made their name - it's hard to find a kpop stan who hasn't heard of them.

happy two years boys! here's to many more! jungwon, heeseung, jay, jake, sunghoon, sunoo, and niki - i know you will continue to do amazing things!

I’ve been a fan of sabrina since 2014, I saw joshua on stuck in the middle but didn’t really know about him (I was more focused on jenna and isaak) and I hadn’t heard about olivia until I saw my whole twitter tl talking about her and drivers license. 

I didn’t mind SOUR, i enjoyed  8/11 songs BUT it’s not an album that I’ve constantly gone back to listen to in one sitting. Hearing joshua’s side on his EP (crisis, secret & set me free) however did changed my perspective about SOUR. I still believe olivia should’ve posted something when her fans were attacking josh & sabrina on her behalf. The excuse of ‘she’s young she didn’t know any better’ is not a good excuse. I’m 5 months older than olivia and if I was in her position I know i would’ve put out a message out of respect for the people involved regardless of how hurt I was, of course you can’t control you’re fans but putting out a message stating that you don’t agree with what’s happening is important.

I like ‘emails i can't send’, I think it’s sabrina’s most vulnerable album and you can hear it in the lyrics. ‘Decode’, my personal favourite song on the album perfectly summarises sabrina’s side of the story. I didn’t interpret the song as her walking away from josh because he was ‘confusing’ during the drama. I interpreted it as her realising at the end of the relationship how bad it turned during that tough time for her.

I also wanted to say not all of sabrina’s songs on ‘emails i can't send’ are about josh. Lots of people forget she dated griffin gluck around 2019 - 2020 (before josh i think). One of the songs not about josh but about griffin is 'vicious', griffin did post drivers license to his instagram story with the caption ‘bop’ which further fulled more hate towards sabrina as some of olivia’s fans started assuming.

I don’t believe that josh still has feelings for olivia at all, he is respectful but as another anon said his interview with Zach Sang Show cemented it for me. You could tell that he was hurt and is still trying to process everything.

At the end of the day there is always olivia’s side, sabrina’s side, joshua’s side and the truth. We will never know the truth because it’s none of our business BUT all of them have the right to tell their side and everybody should respect that.

I think i wasnt clear when i explained my interpretation of decode, it is her realizing theres nothing left in the relationship. i only explained the lines in the 2nd verse when i said she’s choosing to walk away cause even though he walked away first (1st verse) she finally is realizing theres nothing left for her to try and make work or try to understand why everything turned out the way it is and to just accept it. when i explained the lines in tembe song i meant those specific lines and i went into details.

thanks for your input on olivia but i dont really care for her or her decisions i dont really talk about her here. but i understand where you’re coming from and her part in how the situation played out should have been handled better too.

i think its time we accept Vicious is about him. Sabrina MOVED on from Griffin to Joshua like none of the songs on the album relate to her and Griffin. even though sabrina says she started the writing process 2 or 3 years ago, inreality most of the songs she’s made and made it into the album are songs she wrote with leroy, jp, julia which leroy she met in the summer of 2020 (and thats when they made Bad For Business which made it into emails).

Sabrina started going to the studio with JP in 2021 and thats when his then girlfriend Julia would join them in writing sessions cause in June/July Sabrina said in her teen vogue interview they went to new york in the summer of 2021 to finish the album. In september 2021 Sabrina said they were the only people along side a producer named John Ryan she worked with on this album.

In March 2022 Sabrina wrote and recorded Vicious with Amy Allen cause they also followed each other during then. and u can hear it in her lyrics she’s reflecting on 2021 “one year 10 thousand bad moments” and singing about someone who left her and her image wrecked AND wrote her love songs … its not griffin gluck. she’s moved on from him and past him long ago. like she’s not thinking of Griffin in 2022 yes he fueled the drama and posted drivers license during that time but she didnt care about him he was already out of her life she just unfollowed him. like any woman would when an ex would use her for clout and gain off her situation. like i didnt want this to be a whole dissect why the song is about X and not Z but i hate seeing people think its not about him.

Sabrina feeling this way about Joshua is valid she doesnt have to feel bad for him when he left her during that time like its okay for her to be angry or feel hurt or think what he did to her inreturn is cruel or “vicious” (based on lyrics :))

Agreement with DK Records Has Been Made | 'Effy Giraffe: The Hits Collection' Releasing Next Week

Effy Giraffe: The Hits Collection hit quite a road bump when I wanted to include Effy Productions distributed song I'm Alive on my upcoming hits compilation.

The release was suppose to hit streaming sites a month ago, but a disagreement with my current label shelved the release until now.

The album is set to release next week, but why the sudden change of heart you might be asking? As you know, I make every penny off of I'm Alive streams, they felt they were entitled to a cut. Seeing as the single hit nearly 30,000 streams on Spotify alone I wasn't willing to sign the song rights over to my label, losing any future profit of the track.

So there was only two solutions, cut the song or scrap the entire compilation. Instead, a third option arose. DK Records partnered with Amazon and Deezer to drop the album exclusively a week early and within that week DK Records will take 100% royalties.

After that week they'll be making 100% royalties from every other song EXCEPT for I'm Alive.

Overall, I'm very excited for the release. We remastered all of the songs, and even included a solo mix of One Night Stand (due to the drama with my former collaborator). It's a nice call back to my career as a whole.

Many have responded stating none of the songs are hits, but I disagree and I want to break down why I selected each.

01. Broke My Heart

2018 was a hard year for me. I broke up with someone who was very abusive. I had already retired by this time and used music as therapy to try and get over the break up. It was such a tough time, and stats proved the song did pretty well. It was the first pop song I pushed out in 2 years, so a lot of fans ate it up.

I also think lyrically and electronically it was just such a great song. One I was very proud of, so including it felt like a MUST. Plus, it was never featured on an album before.. so I wanted to give it the spotlight it truly deserves!

02. I'm Alive

While including this song halted the albums release, it was a must for me. With nearly 30,000 streams on Spotify alone, in my book THAT'S A HIT. This compilation is promoting my return mainly, so including a single that'll end up being on one of my two upcoming albums is major.

03. Whips & Chains (Nail Me Right)

To say this song isn't a hit is such a darn lie. I released this gem around EASTER as a single from my farewell release Out of this World. SO MANY PEOPLE criticized the song, but that only brought on more revenue. It was a hit for all the wrong reasons, but I LOVED IT. A little controversy goes a long way, and let's be honest. The production and lyrics are just perfect. Out of this World featured some of my best work and this song is proof of that.

04. My Hearts on Fire

This song was a major hit for me over a decade ago. It was first featured on my album Kick Ass Love. It was the albums debut single, and so many loved it. So much so we re-released it on quite a few following albums (Candy Girl).

05. I Am Naughty

Speaking of Kick Ass Love, the albums second single I Am Naughty was yet another proven hit. The song was another one to me thrown on two albums (it made an appearance on Explicit). It was such a fan favorite, so much so I even have a version that featured Nicki Minaj. She, however, did not want me to release the song. It did leak and is around the internet if anyone does happen to want to give that a listen. I can't point you in the right direction for legal reasons, but it was a fun collaboration.

06. Night Time Hooker

Calling this a hit might be an exaggeration, but I believe the song deserves justice! It certainly turned some heads back in the day, but sure. It didn't blow up. Nows a good enough time as any?

07. Vixen

Vixen is another song that had many lives. It appeared on my EP Bad Girl and Candy Girl. It was pretty well received and was pretty different than most of my releases at the time. Sure it had sexual elements, but it had a production value I wasn't doing much of at the time. I remember it actually released as an Amazon MP3 Exclusive along with a song called On The Radio (which is now unreleased). Vixen had a really fun pop rock vibe. Such a hit !

08. Go All The Way

Go All The Way was the very first song of mine that gained a lot of attention. To this day I'd say it was a very very popular song, especially on YouTube. It was simple, fun, very 2010s. No further explanation needed! Total bop!

09. One Night Stand (Solo Version)

Cigarettes & Sex's lead single One Night Stand was a total hit when it released. It featured my ex, and it was really important to me to still include this song for a couple of reasons.

First, it wasn't actually included on The Greatest: The Complete Hits Collection. Which confused a lot of people. It was only ever included in a promo EP for The Greatest, but not the official complete collection. So putting it on a greatest hits album was a MUST!

Second, I wanted to put a version out without him. So we cut him out entirely from this version. And let me just say, it's WAY BETTER!!

10. I Slept With A Priest

This one released more than once. The first one was released on Candy Girl and did pretty well. It was a jaw dropping bop. One year later I decided to re-record the track for Cigarettes & Sex -- which is the version I included on this compilation.

11. Legendary

Finally, I wanted to close the album proving I am one bad ass bitch! And there's no other song proving that than Legendary. The song was never featured on an album, it was a surprise release promoting my unreleased reality series. So it only felt right giving it a spot on an actual album. Plus, it did pretty well. May people suggested I should have took a deeper dive into hip hop (but we saw how EFFY worked out, so I will continue to bow away from that genre)

Overall, I'm excited to have yet another collection of hits all in one album to promote my return.

this dumbfuck story of Buddha and the man who killed 999 people is pissing me off so bad because in Islam too there's the vibe that if you commit sins, it's better to be "punished" on Earth and suffer and so that your punishment will be less in hell but it's not even just about killing nearly 1000 people, it's about like homosexuality and then dying as a price or something agh. anyway this stupid ass story from Wonjeong made me dislike her more

annoying that we're in genuinely episode 12 but even still, she's saved from these demons by the Priest coming in with those guns. at least she knows how to shoot so that she can help herself now but goddamn

also the CGI is so bad here

the ending pissed me off like first of all i literally hate the main female lead (or rather the way she was written) and the main male lead is way too bland to even spark any emotion whatsoever and now you're trying to bait me with season 3 or something? foh

Overall:

Literally how was it worse than part 1? Especially when we focused more on Guntan and Yeom-ji than fuckass Miho and Van? Maybe because of less focus on Johan (I wanna know his backstoryyyyyy) and also just incomprehensible writing/plot direction. Yeomji and Johan my beloveds + Guntan being cool were the highlights. Hated the dumbass cliffhanger ending. such a forgettable show.
