Why i believe Gojo could come back

This chapter left us in a devastated state and was absolutely uncalled for, but I personally believe this isnt the end of the strongest sorcerer. There are several reasons as to why (These are just opinions, I could be wrong in certain areas AND personal feelings might make an occassional appearance.)

LEAKS:

This whole panel was obviously made for a reason. And we dont see gojo making a decision. Considering the fact that this is literally THE Gojo Satoru, he's more likely to choose north since there's numerous things left as plot holes. We'll get to that.

Here in this page, he mentions that Toji should've cut his head off to actually kill him. In the leaks, whats cut off is his upper body but not the head! I still can't quite wrap my head around RCT but lets say he's not able to heal himself. You know who can and who would? Yuta and Shoko

Now moving on

"Gojo then bids farewell to everyone." If hes truly gone then why would he be bidding farewell to the fallen comrades? If he's dead then isn't he supposed to stay in the afterlife with them?

Pretty self explanatory

What if Kashimo is going in to distract Sukuna while Shoko and Yuta can heal Gojo?

Now think about this. Gojo is gone, Shoko doesnt fight and who are all left? A bunch of sorcerers who are literally under 20, need guidance and we havent really seen any panel where they actually plan how they're going to go about in the whole battle. Gojo isnt a want, hes a NEED, a NECESSITY.

Remember, Toji who was dead long ago pretty much appeared out of nowhere in Shibuya Arc LMAO so- yes

WHAT IS THIS EVEN SUPPOSED TO MEAN

Theres no way Gojo would be left sealed for 3 whole years, brought him back just to kill him off in the most disrespectful way possible.

Besides, things that Gojo wanted to do haven't happened yet.

He wanted to tell megumi about his father

He wanted to see his students surpass the strongest sorcerer, aka him

He wanted to get rid of the higher ups

He wanted to properly mourn suguru (for which kenjaku has to be defeated but oh well)

He wanted to save Megumi

How'd we know what Gojo said here.

On to the other aspects of why killing off Gojo was a bad idea. We barely ever saw what happened to him, and an off screen death to the so called strongest sorcerer is just senseless. Gojo is a fan favourite. People started watching the show for Gojo (myself included) and there's a high possibility of multiple people dropping the manga since he isn't even there anymore.

The ending could take a turn for the worse considering the fact that Sukuna is just overpowered and Kenjaku hasn't done anything as of now. Unless there's some heavy plot armor I dont think the students even stand a chance against Sukuna and Kenjaku. Both outcomes- the students and others emerging as victors or sukuna emerging as a victor could make the ending absolutely terrible and this might as well top AOT for being the manga with the most disliked ending.

Gojo Satoru is the mentor for multiple; for Yuji, Nobara, Megumi, Yuta, Maki, Panda, Toge and the third years and its necessary for them to have someone to teach them. It is one of Satoru's wishes to see his students surpass him, which can happen only when he's there since there's nobody else who is actually capable of teaching them and leading them into the world as actual graduated sorcerers.

So Gojo dying will make the manga take a turn for the worse. Killing him off in the middle makes absolutely no sense and is just plain bad writing. People are prolly gonna kill me for this but lets admit the truth. Hyping this battle, building up tension just to finish him off screen is NOT good writing.

Anyways. There is factual proof of Gojo potentially making a return. Maybe at a cost, like him losing his power, losing his "strongest" title or anything else. He may not even be the same anymore but honestly as long as he's back, I'm fine.

It happened previously, and could happen again.

Satoru Gojo may not be the strongest and the honoured one, but may be reborn as a newer version of himself after getting humbled. Lotuses, as mentioned above symbolise rebirth, which is why i believe this is not the end.

A small bit of advice for gojo fans: Go watch haikyuu or highschool babysitters as a form of self care <3

Hii! How r u? How was ur dai? About the oc thing...Could I prety please with cherry on top get a platonic platonic Furina, Ei, Nahidaand Venti with a reader that is like a elf? Idk, how to explain it, so I am gonna add a picture to how I wiev it:

Her name is Eclipsa and has white hair and pointy ears(ofc since she is an elf). And I dont mean like Santa's elfs, I mean the ones from greek and romanian mytology.

About the bakstory: Lets just say that she is the daughter of The Heavenly Principels(lets just call her THP bc I am lazy) (ik it sounds cringe but hear me out😭) and since THP was not all the lovey dovey tipe and probably VERY bad with children (maybe even hate them idk, I really cant see her motherly) she just decided to throe her to Tyvat into the care of the archons untill she was old enough (16 years old) to come to Celestia (bacically be mature since she doesnt want a cryng baby around). Eclipsa is growing, just like Klee slower (there is a theorh that says that Klee is 80 but is also 8 bc she is growing 10 times slower than normal) and everu 100 it adds 1 year rlto her age. Now, lets say that when she was 10(1000) she overheared somebody say that the archons dont actually like her (like parental figures ofc) and that they probably just cang get rid of her. She actually belivd them like a dumb child that she is and ran away (opened a portal to another world and dissapeared without anybody's knoladge). Now, lets just say for the sake of this au to make it more interesting (maybe more cringe but I am having fun ok?😭) that the disaster from Khaenri'ah happened bc the person occ heared it was a khaenriah'n and THP since finding this out was like "OH HELL NAHH" and this iz the reason they destroyd Khaenria'h. THP gave the archons untill Eclipsa was to turn 16 to find her. Well, now, at 15, she randomply (and awkwardly) came back. (Maybe she finally got into her head the ideea of checking Irmansole to see if the archons truly hated her and surprise surprise, ints not true). Now, imagine the characters meeting Occ in their nation. For Venti- at windrise, for Ei in the city (near the statue), for Nahida just at the spirit tree (maybe one of her little friends passed that message for her) and for Furina(back when she was still an archon) she was told from Neuvillette that he sensed Occ's presence(lets just say that higher ups are aware of Eclipsa's existance, including Furina. Perhaps she has read about Oc in one of the books she read to find a solution to Fontaine's profecy).

About personalit I see her as somebody who is quite the drama queen and loves attention 24/7. She loves pulling pranks all the time and also like annoyng people, but in a joking way. Hoever I see her as somebody who has her moments of understanding and is quite the menance to societity(pretty mhch like how Klee is). About her powers, she is developing since young THP's powers but since she is not even 18, its definetly not as affective.

Anyways, I know it might be a weird request or cringe, and maybe I wrote too much, or gave too little information. Furina: She knows almost nothing about her, Neuvillette doesn't seem to remember anything about her and there are no books about it, hell the only reason she knows about Eclipsa is because Focalors thought of it as important that she knew about The Heavenly Principles daughter if she was going to act as an archon.

Furina's first meeting with Eclipsa is when Neuvillette is showing her around, it was instant love... not the romantic kind, the platonic kind, Eclipsa looked like a doll, so perfect to dress up, so perfect to have around, Furina feels lonely and Eclipsa makes her feel whole again, so she takes what she wants.

Furina dislikes The Heavenly Principles, she would be happy if she was hated by them, her performance is over either way, the profecy is fullfilled, is it really so wrong of her to be selfish... you will see Furina run around Fontaine with Eclipse causing havoc, as long as she is with her she doesn't feel lonely, and now she never will

"Y-you aren't leaving me right, right... ANSWER ME PLEASE... I'm sorry for yelling, I just don't wanna lose a friend so dear, you can understand, right?"

Raiden Ei: The day Eclipsa dissapeared was the day her sister died... not only did she lose her very own sister, she also lost someone she practically viewed as a daughter, she had never felt such horrible pain before, so she shut herself away as to not feel it again.

So many years spent in isolation, all Ei could think about was her sister and Eclipsa, she swore if she could just get them back, she would protect them both with her life, she just wants things to go back to normal, like it used to be.

So many years had passed that Ei nearly didn't recognize Eclipsa, she had so many questions for her, but she didn't say a single one... screw The heavenly Principles, she was going to protect her as best she could, Eclipsa don't even get a chance to talk before she was shut inside the plane of Euthymia.

"So long, you have been away for 500 long years... but that's okay, you're here now, I'll make sure you not come to harm like what happened to Makoto"

Nahida: She doesn't have much knowledge of Eclipsa, she isn't recorded in the Irminsul, all the knowledge Nahida has of her is what her predecessor left for her she didn't forget, she is confused why Eclipsa isn't around... did she dissapear or worse, did she die?

Nahida is confussed when she feels Eclipsa's precence by the Irminsul, it feels familiar but she can't figure out why, of course like the curious 500 year old child she is, she went to figure out what caused such familiarity... Nahida knew who it was the second she laid eyes on her, this is who she is supposed to protect like the Greater Lord she once did.

Nahida asks a lot of questions, why is she here? Why was she gone? Eclipsa is now her favorite subject to learn about, Nahida takes up some kind of little sister role to stay close with her, she needs to know everything, feed her ever-growing curiosity, maybe one day she will introduce Eclipsa to the Wanderer... but that can be later, Nahida wants to be selfish for a bit longer.

"Curious, you being here fills me with a feeling like... like a hole, you fall down it everyday and it just feels so annoying, then suddenly someone has covered it up and I don't feel annoyance anymore... You need to stay with me for a bit longer, I need to figure out why"

Venti: He isn't all that interested in following The Heavenly Principles orders, but he still did as to not occur her wrath... he did not expect to take care of a child, he wasn't the best, he got constantly drunk, never took anything serious, except for protecting Eclipsa from any danger.

It was no surprise that Venti felt such fear and despair when Eclipsa dissapeared, he had lost yet another loved one... why does he still care, it always happens anyways, no relation lasts forever, no matter how much he tries to drown the memory of her in even more alcohol, it doesn't work

That's when Venti notices her precence, after 500 long painful years, is she finally back? Is this his second chance. He meets Eclipsa at windrise, she look just as well as when she dissapeared... He doesn't care what The Heavenly Principles thinks or wants, he will keep Ecilpsa safe and away from her, He will keep that smile on her no matter what.

im not about to be one of those people complaining about the animation of jjk s2 because its absolutely gorgeous??? i do have some thoughts though about certain executive decisions, namely geto and yuki's conversation and how it probably has a part in fan's reactions to yuki's character (im not denying its misogyny, just that it has a part to play)

so here are the manga panels:

the camera angle here shows both of them, from above, from in front, from the side. namely, it looks natural. they are on equal footing.

in the anime, the camera angle is looking up at the both of them from their feet. the music is dramatic in that it builds up, eventually leading to geto's epiphany. now this is perfectly fine in belying geto's inner dilemma, but denies the nature of the conversation which, considering both parties taking part in it, was entirely casual

people focus on how yuki seemed to jump in here to influence geto, except they underestimate a weird girl's excitement for philosophy 💀 shes literally a researcher. why wouldnt she be interested by nuance and different perspectives. as if she knew that geto would go off the rails

in the anime, she seems happy when she says "unfortunately, i'm not crazy enough to do that" because you cant see her face, but in the manga, you can see that shes not taking it very seriously when she says "unfortunately, i ain't that crazy". like. the subs make her dialogue seem weird too. shes literally just making up hypotheticals

i think if they kept this scene casual but gradually built the drama you would have a scene that doesnt manipulate the audience ("what?? ari what do you mean by manipulate the audience??" ill get there), that shows how geto came to his conclusion on his own, and that accurately represents yuki's character. it would only be a start if they had the camera angle in a place that puts them on equal footing. from where it was, it seems as if yuki has more power than she actually does. which she doesnt. in terms of jujutsu society and whatever

shes literally the special grade who "fucks around" overseas. she doesnt give two shits about jujutsu society. the power she has here is her special grade status and her salary and thats it. meanwhile geto is a man, a special grade, and works directly under jujutsu society. he has more influence than she does, realistically speaking, considering i doubt the higher ups would want to listen to her anyway if that kind of situation ever occurred. gojo and geto could command that attention. it wouldnt be so simple for yuki

"but this isn't about yuki's power in general, its about the power her words hold over geto" well i'm saying that she doesnt have any power over him. generally, people are able to manipulate other people because they have power over the other, generally, or because the other perceives this manipulator has power over them. the common argument is that yuki manipulated geto, but she didnt, because she does not have power over him, he knows she doesnt have power over him, and they are on equal footing.

so the decision to have light coming in from the window behind them, and having the camera look up at them is kind of flawed, because youre not accurately representing whats going on here. rather, youre illuminating the perspective of only one party, thus distorting the actual interaction, because what happened in the anime didnt really happen. thats a distorted memory. "omg ari wtf are you talking about youre just saying words now. of course thats what happened"

except theres a different lighting, different tone, different mood because the way this scene was thought out is entirely from geto's perspective. from his perspective it all seems true that yuki "made him" do what he did because of how shes portrayed, but from an outside, objective view, you can see that blame and reasoning gets shifted, as does happen in people's memories. on her end, this was an interesting debate and set of hypotheticals to think about. she didnt have the intent jjk fans think she does. but this part gets distorted when we have the memory of this conversation from geto's view, and how it affected him. i think the way it was executed in the manga, its a little clearer that geto simply took the wrong words to heart, rather than it being yuki having the wrong words to say.

Ok so I watched american psycho for the first time last night and I got a great idea for a cool crossover/thought experiment.

What if Patrick Bateman met Hannibal Lecter?

Quick note: I haven't read the book american psycho but I have done a little research about it. Also I'm aware that theres a lot of debate on whether or not patrick actually kills anybody since he is a very unreliable narrator. For the sake of this analysis we will assume all of his murders are real since I dont feel like opening up that complicated can of worms lol.

So first I'd like to do a little character analysis/compare and contrast with both of them cus I think these characters are very interesting to compare.

Let's see what they have in common first. They both are serial killers and cannibals who are lethally efficient and prolific. They are both very successful with Bateman being a millionaire wall street investor and hannibal being Lithuanian royalty and a successful psychiatrist. They are characterized as having some sort of mental illness/disorder, bateman obviously being a stereotypical psychopath plus possibly antisocial personality disorder and hannibal having several which I cant name off the top of my head. They are both known for having "high class" taste and deeply emerse themselves in fine culture.

Now let's talk about their differences...

While yes they both share one key character trait (being murderers) they are still vastly different in terms of personality and behavior. Let's start with their attitude/tendencies towards murder.

Hannibal may be a prolific vicious murderer but if you look closely enough you will see he actually has some form of moral compass. He never hurts children, only adults over the age of 20. He rarely if ever kills women (at least to my knowledge, I haven't read all the books or seen all the movies) which is very likely rooted in his chivalrous nature. He never kills out of the blue, he always has some reason for it, be it his victim making a rude remark or doing something hannibal finds reprehensible. No matter what, he always has some reasoning behind his killings. So while yes he is a vicious murderer, he does actually have a moral compass if you look hard enough.

And then there's Patrick Bateman.

Patrick's murderous behavior is completely different from hannibal. He is erratic and random, killing whoever just so happens to be closest whenever he gets the urge. He has compulsions to kill whereas hannibal pretty much has full self control and only kills of his own free will. Patrick never has any clear reasoning for his murders beyond very vague rationalizations which mostly boil down to "they are different from me" or they said something he perceived as a personal insult. Unlike hannibal, bateman has absolutely no moral compass since he completely lacks empathy. He despises anyone who is higher or lower class than him (especially the lower class), he despises women and views them as objects made for his sexual pleasure and nothing else. Women, especially sex workers, are actually his primary targets since he already views them as subhuman and knows he has great power over them physically and often financially. To him humans are tools he uses to achieve his desires. He completely lacks any emotion, even saying his only emotions are greed and disgust.

He is the purest example of the Id you could possibly think of. His brain is controlled by the most base primal instincts: hoard resources to preserve your own survival, fight and kill anyone you see as a threat or as different from you, and have sex as much as possible. His ultimate goal in life is to fit in with the rest of the white cishet male wall street yuppies, his "tribe" if you want to continue with the primitive themes.

In regards to emotion hannibal does very much feel. Yes his perception of emotion may be different from most people but he still absolutely has the capacity to feel sadness, love, joy, and more alongside anger and disgust. He may be violent but he is not devoid of empathy. We all know he falls deeply in love with clarice because he empathizes with her trauma and struggle. He recognizes her frustration with trying to get the male dominated world to notice her capability and strength. He marvels at her brilliance and adores her independence, he loves her, so so much.

What does bateman love? Well he certainly loves money and power. But does he feel that way about anything else? No. The closest thing he feels to love is lust, primal carnal desire. He hates women, he only values them for sex and nothing else. (Sorry to break the essay emerson but I just need to say this. Why didnt this guy just get a fleshlight? A sex doll? Like if you hate women so much but wanna fuck just get a fuckin toy dude, I'm sure they existed in the 1980s 🙄)

Another thing I noticed they differed with is their attitude towards wealth and media. Patrick is obviously obsessed with both. Media permeates every moment of his existence, constantly listening to music every chance he gets, "watching" movies (mostly just playing them as background noise), obsessing over p0rnography, and so much more. His attitude towards porn is especially interesting to me as he doesnt seem to consume it in the way people normally do. The first scene that comes to mind is the one where hes on a phone call with Evelyn while a porn video plays on his tv. He doesnt even look at the screen, he seemingly shows zero interest. Theres nothing near him in the scene that would suggest he was "enjoying" it (tissues, lotion, y'know..). Its like he just put it on as background noise just like he does with movies. He has similar behavior when he brings in the escorts and rambles about music while instructing them to perform for him, despite the fact he spends most of the beginning walking around his apartment not even looking at the women. It's like he has no idea how human sexuality works, he obviously doesnt feel horny given those two examples, it's like he just has sex and looks at porn because it gives him some kind of status or maybe it just gives him something to do. Maybe he does it purely because it seems like something a "normal human" would do.

As for his obsession with wealth, bateman seems to have a similar attitude. He hates going out with people to diners since we know he hates people in general. He seems to only go out with his fellow yuppies to feel like hes part of something. He pretends to get along with them and says anything they like to hear, putting on a character as if he was playing out a fantasy in his head. He expects people to be impressed with his wealth and feels deeply insulted when they're not. He sees wealth as a necessity, he constantly needs to be richer and more extravagant than everyone else. He is the ultimate personification of greed, a gluttonous, jealous dragon whose hoard is never big enough.

As for hannibal? Having been raised in royalty he naturally grew accustomed to lavish living and views it as his normal. He feels most comfortable having gourmet meals regularly, his day clearly planned out with plenty of activities to do, and generally a life full of savoring the finer things and enjoying many of the pleasures of noble life. Unlike patrick who's idea of lavish is hoarding expensive things he doesn't need and parading them around to inflate his ego, hannibal's idea of lavish living is playing piano, watching Shakespeare plays, reading classical literature, admiring fine art both old and new. He has no need for parading around his wealth because it doesnt matter to him.

You see what I mean? Bateman views wealth as a tool to gain status and be part of a community. Hannibal does not really perceive wealth since it has always been a part of his life, he doesnt want more wealth since riches alone dont give him pleasure. To hannibal wealth is simply the norm and something he pays no mind to, whereas patrick is utterly and completely addicted to it.

I feel like I've rambled long enough and pinned down their primary differences. I honestly had a lot of fun writing this! I find both characters incredibly fascinating and I thoroughly enjoyed dissecting them both side by side. I hope you all liked it too of course.

as u can maybe see this was not a very seriously articulated complaint and it was also not really a demand for explanations as to how the mass psychology of fandom work. BUT given that we're here now

ur right that the original problem IS my fault for saying i want more content I forgot that i hate fandom and the way you interact with things. i hate thinking of things in terms of endgames and obstacles to endgames its just very boring to me. but u have every right to havetastes that are different than mine.

i personally dont think that the show is trashy or b-list even though it IS also a fun campy gothic romance. i also think there are really compelling parts of the (mostly just first two) books. the show is engaging with whats interesting in the books and then elevating them to a higher thematic level. it's beautifully produced and imo very well written. theres clearly a ton of thought put into all the details . it's fundamentally very interested with interrogating power and abuse and grief. to me this warrants like. reciprocal critical thought in engaging with it. or at least not flattening it into tropes that are characteristic of lazier writing. and it is definitively not a romance in the hallmark sense.

i like horror and tragedy in fiction i think despair can be extremely compelling and moreover all of these elements including louis being passionless and depressed are present in his relationship with lestat. armand and daniels relationship in the books is also super strange and unhealthy and ends very ambiguously and theyre separated for a really long time. both the little glimpses that we've seen of louis and armand in the show And the like however many pages of their courtship and slow demise in the book are like candy to me Thats where i'm coming from.

1. Movie 3: Fade to Black. This is my favorite movie and has the most re-watch-ability I think. Not only does it straightbait (jk okay but this is just my way of saying I LOVE when m/f characters have deep platonic bonds. Hell yeah). But it also has the most emotional impact of all the movies imo. I cry at the end. We feel bad for the "villains". The hollowfied twins who cared so much for Rukia. Their powers are iffy in context but everything else is nice. The story parallels the Soul Society arc in the show without just repeating itself. Also getting to see post Turn Back the Pendulum Kisuke get a role is nice. I don't really have any complaints with the movie except maybe the whole reishi thing, like huh? The story outweighs the wonkiness of the things that happen tho. But that's if I have to nitpick.

2. Movie 1: Memories of Nobody. This movie has a solid plot and some interesting world building (like Valley of Screams). Loses points for being the average damsel in distress (which I guess movie 3 could fall into that category but at least it wasn't average) and boring villains. Senna is pretty likeable as a character overall but also I dont really get that attached to her. Not much to say about this movie otherwise.

3. Movie 4: Hellverse. Ugh. Honestly theres like two things I liked about this movie. The opening credits scene. And the hollowfied Ichigo. Everything else is BORING. How they made a boring hell movie is kinda baffling. Again we got damsel in distress (Yuzu) and a very predictable betrayal from Kokuto. The movie is okay to watch once because you don't realize how unrewarding it is when Ichigo "loses control". You can pretty much sleep through the first half of the movie ngl. Hell shouldn't be boring. 😬 Again the villains suck and the ending made 0 sense.

4. Movie 2: Diamond Dust Rebellion. Okay. First off, if I was a huge Toshiro fan I might rank this higher. I like him enough, but he probably isn't even in my top ten faves. That said my biggest complaint is the absolute nonsensical story. The whole uh...whatever the fuck it's called. The thing the villain is after. Makes no sense. The reason for the villain makes no sense. Yin and Yang arrancars make no sense. Two Hyorinmarus??? What is going on??? I actually don't feel like this movie has any re-watch-ability. I can only think of one decent scene and it was the one where Ichigo recounted his family processing his mom's death together. I do like Kenpachi happily running at a giant ice dragon too. Otherwise what is the point of this movie??? At least it damsel-in-distressed a non female character I guess.

I feel like from that anons "Take on the Hedgehog Trio" analysis, Sonic would be completely laid back & normal til u "give him a reason not to be". In my opinion, none of them would hurt you intentionally, Silver would have the worst reaction when hurting you as he wears his heart on his sleeve. He'd be apologizing constantly & doing anything you ask of him even if you've long forgiven him & I agree with what you said of his intelligence & how others tend to think naive is similar or is a synonym to dumb. Like Knuckles, Silver is a lot smarter than what others give him credit for, is he naive? Yes. But that doesn't mean that he's dumb. First, remember that he comes form a dystopian apocalyptic future where he had little to no interaction with others beside Blaze & secondly, naive is the lack of (worldly) experience while dumb can mean either refraining/unable to speak or not having the ability to absorb ideas readily.

Shadow would be the deadliest yandere, not to y/n but towards others. This man has so much trauma which leads to him gaining enemies & this leads to his protectiveness to skyrocket. If he were to hurt you he'd apologize while tending the wound(s), he'd say that this wouldn't have happened if you'd just listen & not run off on your own. He's at a constant war with himself where, in one hand, he wants to keep a distance in fear of an enemy seeing you two & them using you against him while on the other hand, he's beyond touch-starved & wants nothing more than to lay on the couch/bed & snuggle into you feeling all his doubts & stress wash away in your presence. No matter who you get, with pros there is always cons with them.

The main reason I blame the staff of Hellfire over the community is because they ignored a problem and were shocked when it festered.

Favoritism, abuse of power, oppressive atmosphere toward their lowers and members, all the way to defending some very clear red flags and just outright disgusting people.

Most never cared for the people and only thought of them as little worshippers to kiss their ass and inflate their ego.

And seeing familiar names within this blog honestly hurt me. I feel terrible after learning that some of the people I played with were zoophiles, pedophiles, groomers, or just simply assholes.

But this doesn't mean that the entirety of Hellfire was bad. I met my best friends there who equally hated Hellfire even when everyone loved it. The highers were the rot, not the whole community. Though they were a bad influence on us and thus made some believe that it was okay to act the way they did, there were so many people within the server that genuinely made me happy to stay.

Minus the terrible people who came to hide where they knew no one would bat an eye.

I'm truly sorry for those who never experienced the good side of Hellfire and I am in no way saying that your anger is unjustified. If you had any kind of bad experience with Hellfire, please share it so long as you're comfortable. This information is important for those who are yet to believe that some things are worth saving. I hope no one allows their server to die the way this one did.

So this AU idea came to me 1 night ago and I spent a full day on this drawing I did cause I just had to get it out of my system if I'm to focus on writing The Horrors some more. So I present to you...

True Gaia Sonic!

Design notes not mentioned above:

-I took inspiration from those designs where one half is an angel and the other half is a demon.

-I'll get to the colors eventually but the only important thing to note rn is that the Light Gaia half is a very light blue while the Dark Gaia half is a dark blue. The arms are specifically the werehog blue while the rest is slightly lighter. Plus the orb on his chest is half green and half purple.

-The Dark Gaia half is purposefully more complex (to my own annoyance) and messier looking compared to the Light Gaia half.

-While the small chart I made depicts the middle quills, I think I should also mention it the difference between the bottom ones too. That being that Light Gaia half is more downward and relaxed looking while the Dark Gaia half is higher and more defensive looking.

-He can bulk up the werehog looking arm and stretch it.

-I was actually struggling with the shoe design until I made a happy accident with the right shoe with a small line.

-The tail is a combination of Chip's tail and a serpentine tail. You can't honestly tell me that Dark Gaia's body type doesnt scream serpent...

-Speaking of the tail, the stinger's effect is similar to paralyzation but not quite. It does that effect in game where the humans get all super hopeless during night. Like the icecream guy for example.

-Using a height comparison website, with the average human adult height being around 175cm according to Google, I'd say he's around 240cm. Not huge but substantially taller than a human.

Summary for the beginning of the story under the cut!

So there's this cult that collects a combination of Light and Dark Gaia energy so they can create the perfect god. A balance of both light and dark.

The True Gaia.

But they can't just make a god out of energy alone. They need a vessel, someone capable of wielding both Gaia energies.

Someone like Sonic the Hedgehog.

They know a good portion of Sonic's exploits as the Werehog, a being capable of utilizing the darkness of a god. And then there's all the times Sonic has saved the world. A true emissary of Light.

The perfect vessel for their god.

Lots of planning and preparation go into their scheme of kidnapping Sonic to use him as a vessel. Swifly and efficiently, they store Sonic in a previously setup test tube designed to infuse him with the energies of both Light and Dark Gaia. The process takes awhile as one does not simply infuse such powerful energies all at once. As strong as Sonic is, there is no room for such risks.

But before they can fully realize their goal, they're raided by the Police (since GUN had no reason to suspect this was anything but your average sacrifical cult) with the assistance of Team Chaotix in tracking them down.

Then they find Sonic what they can only presume is True Gaia in a test tube. And like. Knowing the kind of crazy stuff that happens in their world they decide that watever this might be, they did not sign up for this shit. So they talk with the Chaotix again in hope of contacting some heroes, aka at least someone more suitable, aka not GUN cuz they'll probably just make it worse and the world doesn't need another damn crisis on it's hands, to deal with this.

That's how Tails and Knuckles (for backup in case something goes wrong) wind up finding Sonic encountering True Gaia . Yet theres multiple things about this entity that signal a bunch of alarm bells for Tails that this might be his missing brother. The way they're blue, the much slimmer yet undeniably werehog looking arm, and most tellingly the shoe design.

Tails eventually manages to drain the tube and release him from the stuff he's hooked up to. It let's him fall to the floor gently and opens the tube. Now on his knees, Sonic slowly opens his eyes and then looks up at Tails. Hesitantly, Tails calls out Sonic's name.

There's a pretty noticeable echo in Sonic's voice as he responds to Tails with something like "Sonic...? Although that is familiar, we are the True Gaia. That being said, we must thank you for freeing us." And he studies Tails for a few seconds before going "Hmm... You seem very familiar as well. You called us Sonic earlier. Admittedly, the name feels more... natural than True Gaia, though I do not why. Maybe... Do we know you?"

And Tails, just wanting his missing big brother back, takes this as confirmation it's him and is like "Yes, it's me! Tails!" while Sonic True Gaia is there feeling strangely protective of this child he just met.

Regina spektor anon back at it again. I was wondering about something and it made me also wonder what you thought: ive been thinking about the very fraught dynamic between potter and charles and wanted your thoughts. So like the potter charles dynamic is really rich and it has. Alot of fascinating angles to it, but the crux of that dynamic for me comes down to this: charles is a wealthy, old-money northern urbanite and he is- in career terms at least- in his prime His affect is very contemptuous and aristocratic- hes a member of the elite class in every sense and he knows it. Meanwhile potter is past his prime, a middleamerican/southern dude from what is clearly a rural working class or poor background (i mean i think so. It strikes me as wildly unusual for a wealthy teenager to lie about his age to enlist as a low army grunt, which seems to be what potter did in ww1. Even if potter did come from a stable household economically speaking, he didnt have much in the way of social status- hes a farmboy) All this to say: theres major tension between them. in civilian life charles has absolutely all the power and would never have reason to give potter the slightest bit of regard. Yet this isnt the situation theyre in- charles has been drafted against his will and is at the mercy of potters authority as a commanding officer. Thats not to say that charles doesnt deserve potters ire for being very arrogant and condescending; but you get the sense, especially early in charles's time in mash, that potter gets serious glee out of taking charles down a peg; based on the social dynamic i just mentioned. Which is undeniably satisfying and funny, but its also kind of fucked up too? Like the draft is unjust, charles has been removed from his life to give over his talents to the war machine. He doesnt want to be there. Conditions are terrible. His consent is not relevant. His skills are barely relevant, hes been thrown into a totally unfamiliar mode of medical practice to what he is used to. The show knows all this and for the record i dont think it wrong to mine humor from charles's situation, even though it is wildly unfair and unpleasant and more or less forced labor as is the case for all draftees regardless of background. I was just curious what you thought about potters dynamic with charles or with people in the camp in general (his dynamic with Klinger is similarly fascinating and fucked up though it distinguishes itself from charles because 1. Klinger is not at all on equal or higher standing than potter in civilian life 2. He offers potter respect that charles does not. Which makes potters glee in fucking with klinger less based in class resentment (which colors his dynamic with charles) and more interpersonal (if youre being charitable) or more racist/sexist/classist bullying (if youre being uncharitable). What do u think of potter as an authority figure on mash? what you thought about mash's relationship to the draft as a concept?- service as a moral duty or trying to go AWOL as an immoral or cowardly act versus conceptualizing the draft as an injustice since imo mash seemed to go back and forth about that. hiiiii!!!! i haven't put much thought into the potter and charles dynamic if i'm being fully honest, but i never saw what potter was doing to charles as particularly cruel. charles was already drafted but had managed to secure a fairly comfortable position due to his class (i assume, i don't think the show ever tells us). he also seems to be there in a teacher/lecturer position as opposed to being a doctor who actually treats wounded soldiers. potter needed a capable surgeon to save lives. the morality of being an american army surgeon in a foreign war is a different question though (not that mash hadn't touched on that as well)

if we're not talking about potter keeping charles as a surgeon though, i do imagine potter takes quiet personal glee in fucking with charles because charles is a dickhead lmao

and i don't think potter is ever fucking with klinger? the potter/klinger relationship is pretty straightforward - klinger wants out, potter can't permit that, so klinger comes up with ridiculous schemes to try and convince potter, and the schemes get more and more ridiculous until it becomes a real boy cried wolf situation. everything potter does is (mostly) always in response to whatever klinger is doing

mash is pretty clear on the draft (it should not exist as much as war should not exist) but what happens after is a bit more complicated. i mean, it's never described as a cowardly act - scully went AWOL and hawkeye and BJ shield him, henry remarks that if they all had any sense they would've gone off camp (with the latrine) like hawkeye did, and klinger's schemes are played for laughs but his desire to leave is never painted in s negative light

that being said, none of the commanding officers ever actually let people leave without due reason. and there's the whole shooting yourself in the foot business obviously to which most of the responses are 'we get that war is shit but don't do it again please' (which like, as doctors they're bound to not let people mutilate themselves but you know). people being AWOL is a bit of an awkward topic in mash and i'm not sure if it ever formed a concrete opinion on that

thinking about the will wood interpretation of the wednesday netflix show i havent see the show at all but i believe him with every core of my being

like not to talk out of my ass cuz i litterly have not seen the show and only have seen pictures and fanart but i also saw NO negative posts about it till the will wood one today (not saying theyre arent i just havent seeked out stuff for this show), even my sister recommended it to me. i have a bad habit of disliking popular things that are hyped up on social media even when its a show i like just because like.... sometimes fandom brain rot irks me a little and im definitely hypocritical and cringe just like every other mf on this website.

but also ive seen the adams family movie (i dont think its the OG og but the most popular one) where the camp was to 100%, all the characters were unapologetically weird, political, and goth. not only was it extremely funny camp but had a lot to say for its time, and honestly i think movies like that are becoming rarer and rarer. its so mf boomer of me to say it but with how politics are now and we (at least speaking as an American) have succumbed to the idea that corporations hold more power than the average person in politics, we also hold companies to higher degree of pr and well..... Guo Jia’s intelligence: Detailed

Jia’s mind is a magnificent thing, with just his general intellect alone being something to marvel at, but there are many geniuses out there, many with super-human intellect’s comparable to his, he isn’t necessarily special in that regard. What makes Jia’s mind special, what gave him the title “King of Strategic Decisions” is how intensely and accurately it can multi-task.

         When devising plans, Jia is able to account for virtually every scenario possible (meaning more often than not, his plans are perfect or damn near it), and beyond that, he is able to hold thousands, sometimes millions of different schemes and associated countermeasures simultaneously in his head, meaning that he is prepared for pretty much anything that gets thrown his way– case in point, if something is a possibility, then he likely has a plan for it (and numerous backup plans for those bigger plans) , a masterfully crafted one at that.

         Now of course when it comes to day-to-day life, Jia doesn’t meticulously plan things out or whip out genius level stratagems for very mundane occurrences– outside of serious situations, Jia really just freestyles life and takes it as it comes, even when it comes to battles or opponents he doesn’t see much threat from, but when it comes to serious shit? You better watch out; back on the topic of his genius, Jia can effortlessly analyze a situation and run all it’s different scenarios through his head in an instant, and when in combat, this allows him to deftly grasp and more or less control the flow battle. With just about every scenario considered, all of Jia’s different schemes for those scenarios at the ready in his headspace, and his inhuman eye for analysis, he is able to apply the appropriate stratagems and countermeasures to his opponents actions at the drop of a hat. This makes Jia an insanely hard opponent to outmaneuver, outsmart, and/or catch off guard, since he is effectively able to anticipate and counter anything you might throw at him. There are limits to this genius, however.

Caveats to Jia’s intelligence

Depending on certain circumstances, Jia’s “accounting for virtually every scenario possible” and planning can be less efficient and at worse subject to clear error. These circumstances include:

- Engaging an opponent who’s intellect goes beyond even his, or matches it: in the former, Jia might struggle a great deal, and in the latter, he would definitely be kept on his feet, though he has yet to meet anyone of the former, and has only ever met one person who he could say truly matched his brain power, that person being Zhuge Liang. Generally speaking, however, the greater an opponents genius, the less effective his planning and scenario accounting against them will be.

- Being faced with a literal Eldritch Abomination, effectively a being that defies all reason and logic and is beyond all comprehension: Even Jia’s super-human intellect and depth of planning would struggle in accounting for the various possibilities surrounding creatures or beings of this nature, simply due to the fact that there mere existence is an affront to and incomprehensible mockery of reality (please cthulhu do not dm jia).

- Facing foes who truly embody “Chaos”: Beings or creatures that are truly chaotic in nature, chaotic at their core, literal embodiment of the word, would be hard for Jia to properly counter given this type of foe’s penchant for literally being so wild and chaotic that they are truly unpredictable. Jia might be able to plan for some things regarding foes in this area, but his efficiency in doing so would be cut in half, and there would be a higher chance of errors being made, far more than usual.

- Being too drunk to properly think™: The more inebriated Jia is, which since he spends a lot of time drinking theres a good chance he’s always a little buzzed, the less efficient his planning and scheme multitasking is. At the lighter end, being just ‘tipsy’, Jia can mostly function alright, though his room for error and poor judgement is heightened, and if he is just completely fucking sloshed? Well he’s not planning or countering anything properly at that point, he’s a fucking goner save whatever dumb luck he might have.

Another caveat to factor in with Jia’s intellect is that, despite being able to account for virtually every scenario possible and retain multitudes of different schemes in his head at a time, he isn’t omniscient. Remember, Jia can account for virtually every scenario possible, but not ALL of them, and this is because he can only really plan and account for potential future scenarios based on what he knows, observes, or heavily suspects/feels, and while those can be very accurate factors to pull from in his case, they aren’t perfect– close, but still not infallible.  Jia has faced very, very, very few blunders on the battlefield and when devising larger schemes against his or his lord’s opponents, but blunders have happened before, either due to the above caveats or because there was legitimately something even he didn’t or simply couldn’t account for when planning.

Also, in kind of the same vein as the previous caveat, just because Jia can plan for something from almost every angle, doesn’t necessarily mean that situation will end up going in his favor per se. Some things are literally impossible for Jia to achieve despite the most thorough planning, and some engagements simply cannot be ‘won’. Sometimes all Jia can plan for is survival, and/or damage control for an already bleak situation and nothing more.

Still, all that being said, Jia’s brain power is not something you want to face– with the help of his intellect and brain power alone, he could likely fend off or bring down a host of  opponents or serious problems that come his way. When you factor in all of the other stuff related to Jia though? Like all his magic (his Transfiguration Magic especially)? Or the resistance he has to most magical or power-esque stuff that doesn’t involve heat? (and i’ll be writing more detailed stuff on those too eventually) You need to be careful around this man.

Ignore if to personal but how do you get Sade drugs to have trips with? So many things is tainted nowadays and you can't really trust the dealers

safe drugs? well yes you are right, it is an issue. this is a big reason why i dont do any pills or powders or anything like that, i wouldnt rly anyway bc the last thing i need is an addiction or to fuck up my brain, but you can't be sure today those things are real, pure, and not cut with god knows what - wayyyy too many cases of people dying. i personally would highly reccomend staying away from anything like that - ive had friends who did cocaine and molly and stopped bc they became too afraid that it wouldn't be pure or cut w fetenyl or shit. also met plenty of teenagers in psych wards who ended up there bc of "party pills" who ended up blacking out or having bad reactions. from what im getting, its very very hard to get any sort of pill, powder, etc which is pure nowadays, and its only getting worse. this is part of why i havent done acid in a long time either; technically theres a chance its not pure, you dont know who made it, and you dont rly know a proper dosage for it either - the dosage is an approximation and theres a chance its much higher than you think; its happened plenty of times w me. its not that id reccomend not doing acid - some ppl like it more than shrooms, and the first time i tripped i took acid bc its much cheaper than shrooms, and ive done it 7-10ish times - but rather, be aware that there is a bit of an added risk

shrooms & acid i used to get from my uni, its known to be a campus thats into psychadelics (old hippy town and all)- many grow them and they grow in the forests too naturally. they've been decriminilized, but selling them is still illegall. i used to know dealers through friends that i trusted and bought from before, and some of them i was friends w myself and knew what they were selling was fine bc they took it themselves. some of them were grown by said dealers and i considered this to be safe; others from what i know were bought and shipped from the dark web and yes, this is absolutely a risk to take - ive been lucky so far that in the,,, idk 40/50+ times ive done shrooms, i have yet to take anything which i had any suspicion was not pure. with shrooms its technically safer - you can see exactly what they are - but if someone wanted to be a real asshole they could technically put something on them, or cross contamination with some power or liquid could happen. personally, i have not seen this though, and outside of having the bad luck of accidents or coming across someone with pure malice, i dont understand why anyone would spike shrooms. i would reccoment always looking at them very well though, sniffing them, etc, and if you want to be extra safe, taking only a very small dosage of them at first to see if you have any weird reaction. ive also met drug dealers who only sell shrooms, acid, and weed, because they consider pills or hard drugs to be immoral and harmful to sell, and they consider themselves to be providing a important service by selling these things, and those ones i trust

rn i dont know anyone up here; i have a dealer down south who i know through friends, hes extended family with one of them and theyve known him for years on end, so i trust him. thats my source rn. id say this is the safest sort of dealer you can know - one who you have friends who can vouch for them and have used their stuff. but there is still always a risk with any dealer, and in any case that you dont grow and cultivate them yourself. if you or your friends know any weed dealer, id also say you can ask them if they sell shrooms, if they know anyone who does, or if they can get them for you

i wouldnt reccoment buying shit off of the internet or dark web from those you dont know- ive known people who have done it and gotten away with it, yes, but it is a risk - one of them also ended up getting severe paranoia that the cops would catch him and threw all the drugs he spend money on away ,,, so idk. its risky. could work out, ive heard of it working out, but its risky not only w the law (tho again know plenty who got away) and id say the chances of it being not pure increse compared to irl. if you have to buy off of the web, id reccomend buying spores and growing them yourself - worse that can happen then is you dont end up with shrooms but normal mushrooms or in some insane case poisonous mushrooms. i have heard plenty abt ppl buying spores online and growing them successfully. id say finding people on reddit or forums is safer quality wise than the dark web, legally i have no idea. i will also say from,,,,, personal experience i have shipped to friends within the state weed in the mail (much easier to detect than shrooms) and one time traveled with weed oil internationally and didnt get caught - so its definitely possible to get away with it, especially shrooms or spores or shroom capsules, if theyre properly packaged (it just kinda turns you into a bit of a nervous wreck)

theres also some other places - there is a "psychadelic church" in oakland california which is the only place in america "legally" allowed to give out shrooms; they claim its their religious freedom to do so. they did end up getting a fbi visit, not surprising since they operate in a weird gray area - but theyre still giving them out and most ppl i have heard say very good things abt them; consistent, safe, trustworthy etc. if youre in a surrounding state or cali and got the money, you could plan a visit and this would likely be a very safe way to aquire them; theres some other nice things to see in this area too, forests, national parks, the beaches, san francisco

if you live in a state (or country) which has legalized weed, you can also go to the weed fairs and festivals which happen at times and ask around - ive been told several times by plenty of ppl that this is one way to get in touch with someone; its not "on the face," its hush hush a bit, but ask around and you are likely to find something. if youre in america or europe in a place which hasnt legalized weed, and you've got the money, you could set up a trip to one of the places which has. if you're in europe as well and can amsterdam is probably the easiest bet of a place where you could find them

another option could be medical trials, if you live in a place which allows them. never done it myself and...... i dont know how much id reccomend tripping in a medical setting (i cant imagine it) but some have done it - youd also potentially get payed, and be part of the process of trying to destigmagize shrooms and acid and show their positive effects! you could also try, if they exist in your area, those who advertise themselves as doing shrooms therapy, being doctors or therapists and using shrooms as part of their practice, or shamans - dig online and you may find. this is how my aunt is currently getting shrooms rn, both for microdosing and for tripping. Illinois is or has legalized shrooms to treat mental illnesses, colorado has legalized shrooms, areas of cali have decriminilized them, from what i know theyre semi-legal in canad, and trials are happening in several places; this may be a way which may work too
