OH MY GOSH THANK YOU SO MUCH! YES IT IS NECESSARY TO TRAIN YOUR POKEMON AND/OR LET THE VETS KNOW TO SEDATE THEM BEFORE TREATMENT!!! I'm a nurse and I have gotten several injuries from unruly pokemon that people have refused to train. My most recent was a litten that scratched my face and burned my arm. The scratch got infected and I've been out on medical leave for a few weeks, which also means I AM NOT GETTING PAID!! So much entitlement from trainers who assume their "little buddies" can do no harm
yeah, we've had way too many pokemon surrendered to us because they weren't trained well and the owners couldn't handle them anymore, and we often aren't warned ahead of time on intake. i was bit by several pokemon during intake exams/behavioral exams just last year- one of them being a houndour whose bite scar still hurts. these pokemon are really hard to adopt out, considering most of our customers are looking for pets and aren't ready to take in a pokemon that could use a trainer with a couple of gym badges under their belt. besides that, our veterinary team is really busy taking care of sick and injures surrenders and wildlife rehab cases, and if we have to pull them in to sedate an intake exam, that takes their time away from our pokemon that need veterinary intervention.
the worst case i've ever seen of this at the shelter was a stunky so poorly-trained and stressed that it would hiss and spray at anyone who came near it, so you had to wear a respirator to approach it. we ended up having to do a behavioral euthanasia because we literally could not safely approach this pokemon, and it was so stressed that it was refusing to eat.
i'm really sorry to hear you got hurt. i hope you were at least able to make a case to your management to not allow that pokemon in for treatment unballed.

Tumblr media
The kid's body is so filthy, so frail, and so breakable as Slade arranges his bony limbs in a fireman's carry. The boy's pulse is sluggish, but steady.
Slade doesn't know what he's doing. Most of his mind space is occupied by the memories of another boy with blue eyes and black hair.
(It's a lie, he does, he isn't saving Grant— Grant's features weren't that hollow—Grant's eyes were clear and blazing with intelligence—Grant's eyes were fucking functional—
Grant can't be saved—Grant's dead—his boy's dead—he isn't saving Grant—)
Slade doesn't know what he's doing and that's should be enough of an indication that his little moment of conflict is going to cost him.
Priorities and directives shift, first things first— he needs to get the boy out of here—he shoves the rest of the tumultuous emotions in a box, and walks hurriedly towards the main corridor, each step thudding loudly against the cracked gravel. The passage is fucking filthy—and reeks of human misery. This isn't the first time someone's been held here. The rest of the wing is closed off, no where to get in or out unless someone was specifically looking for it. Right in the Bats' nose hair.
The jostling must be making the kid's injuries worse. But he's survived for months—months at the receiving end of the Joker's twisted generosity—dying right now would be comically anticlimactic.
An ugly, gnarled part of him hopes that the boy's misery ends before he can reach his safehouse—spare him the haphazard mess of emotion in his chest.
He unconsciously tightens his hold on the small boy. And checks the parameter, heart thudding in his ears. At a disturbing lack of interference, he carries the boy to the car. He half expects Joker's goons to jump as he lays the boy down in the bottom compartment—but nothing happens. The Joker wanted Robin gone. He was paid to get rid of Robin.
He shoves the false bottom shut with more force than necessary. Rage overtaking the forefront of emotion.
He was duped. It was not in the contract
What difference does it make?—an ugly voice in his mind replies—and Slade—
Slade doesn't know.
The guards turn a blind eye as he drives by, their pockets heavy and lips sealed.
/|\ ^._.^ /|\
He finishes securing the last of the locks and exhales a breath he didn't realize he was holding in. The boy's lying prone on the couch, completely unaware of the sheer havoc he's inflicted on his conscience via presence alone.
The boy's just so small, face battered beyond recognition, and hideous colors peaking out of his tattered uniform-shaped-shroud. His shoes are missing, and it's a while since they have been—because the boy's feet are a mess, and that's excluding the sad, twisted thing that's his right ankle—cut and burnt and with bits of gravel sticking out of them. The Clown wanted to discourage any attempts at fleeing.
He takes his aching head in his hands, What is he doing? He did not sign up for playing a savior or a nurse maid.

Thank you@prowlsic for helping me figure out how Slade would get Jason out, also the false bottom idea was their's

Zeke is my favourite fictional character. He's just so... fascinating. He's initially presented as weird and mysterious but he turns out to be a giant dork and a huge loser with the most severe daddy issues I've ever seen.
I love him so much. Here's a very long ramble that's kinda sorta a character analysis (it's bad though).
He gives off Reddit mod energy (then again, Eren has Discord mod energy (disclaimer: I love Eren too)), has the sense of humour of a 12 year old, hangs around people who are quite a bit younger than him (granted, his only other option is creepy old military men), has smoked since he was probably like 15 and spends his life "pretending" to be stupid.
And yet he genuinely cares about other people in his own way. He really did just want to make it so that Eldians didn't have to suffer. He assumed that because he had a shit life and was treated terribly (as were his parents), everyone else was in the same boat. It never occured to him that other Eldians were happy, because, like, why would they be?
He's willing to go to the ends of the earth and beyond to fulfill his mission, which he's held on to since he was a teenager. Even though Ksaver did plant the seeds for Zeke, Zeke came up with his plan himself. Ksaver never mentioned anything about reproduction, just that the Founder could be used to alter Eldian biology.
He's devasted when Eren goes "lol jk bro" and betrays him, because he finally found someone he thought he could trust (his first mistake was trusting Eren of all people). He couldn't understand why Eren went against his plan, or what Eren was even trying to accomplish in the first place.
Also, I think it's worth mentioning that Zeke's euthanasia plan undermines everything Ymir Fritz went through. She suffered severely, but I like to imagine that she really did love her daughters to the best of her ability. Zeke saying that Eldians would be better off not existing in the first place and that he's going to get rid of them is telling Ymir Fritz that all her suffering was for absolutely fucking nothing. Whereas Eren wants Eldians to live on, because that way, Ymir can be freed, and she can see that there is beauty in the world (which she did via Mikasa, as badly explained as it was lol).
Zeke never saw that beauty. He was brainwashed and abused and taken advantage of his entire life. By his parents, by Marley (yes, even Ksaver), and, later, by Eren. To him, there was nothing redeeming about the world.
Hence his final line where he talks about what a lovely day it is and how nice/clear the sky is, but that it ultimately is too late to realise that (? I haven't read the chapter in a while, I don't remember the exact wording). That's him acknowledging that he was wrong about the world lacking beauty.
Yes, Ksaver did care for him and did love him, but he did also use Zeke for his own gain. He was projecting his son onto Zeke, as he said so himself in canon, and he was also hoping that Zeke could accomplish what he (Ksaver) wasn't able to. Zeke may not have been as determined to save the Eldians (in his own way) if he hadn't spent time with Ksaver.
Zeke and Eren are fascinating to me, because Eren threw away his humanity in order to save the world/his loved ones, yet was very upset that he had to do so (given his paths convo with Armin), yet Zeke... was stripped of most of his humanity before he had a chance to even embrace it. My personal interpretation is that he never realised he was lacking humanity (which is something Levi kept trying to point out, especially in the forest with reminding Zeke about his Rakago crime) because death and killing were so normalised to him (and to him, his enemies weren't human because they were mostly Eldians and he, as an Eldian, wasn't considered human -- or at least he may have used that as a justification for his actions), and it wasn't until the very end that it hit him.
Lastly, part of why I love the dynamic between Zeke and Levi is that they're two sides of the same coin. They're both admired and feared by people (for different reasons), are traumatised in every possible way, and are similar yet also very different.
When they're interacting, neither of them give a shit about the other's status or powers or whatever. They fight like equals on par with each other and don't hold back. Warchief Zeke? Captain Levi? Nope. They're just Zeke and Levi to each other. (And they'd be friends if they were on the same side, maybe.)
ANYWAY Zeke Yeager is a great character and I love my monkeyman so much. He had such good character development and his backstory is really well done. The "I love you, Zeke" paths scene is my favourite since in all of SnK just for how much that means for both Grisha and Zeke.

Update on losing my cat Star.
I'm getting her ashes tomorrow. Last week they told me the ashes would be ready after a week. Yesterday was officially a week after Star's euthanasia. I decided I'd contact them today if they didn't contact me before then.
So I called and they said the ashes weren't ready, then called me back when I was napping. I called them back and they confirmed the ashes were indeed ready. I'd already decided I would spend this afternoon working on an essay due tonight, so I asked them if I they could hold the ashes until tomorrow and they said yes, so that's what I'll be doing after work.
So tomorrow I'll finally have her with me, in some form. I can't believe it's already been a week. Sometimes I think I see her in the corner of my eye.

What tf is Knights !! arc about, or also why are the kouhais essential to their general arc:
I wrote this as a thread on the bird app, but since someone is k!lling that app, I'm putting this here, with a few tweaks. Obligatory disclaimer that I have kouhais brainrot :)
1. The main !! arc
I've been guilty of complaining that Knights !! arc has been pretty vague, and yeah, it sorta was. The thing is, it was more clear to see how their arc went in !, because it was pretty simple: a bunch of individualists leaning to come together as a unit, and also healing together from their past wounds. But now that they've sorta learned to work together and have a new leader, wtf is their arc even about?
I'd argue it's exactly related to their cute new leader, but first I wanna talk about his cute new kouhais.
2. The kouhais
First we see them mentioned back in the ! arc, in Operetta, which happens in... April, in-game, if I'm not mistaken? Sometime in the Spring, for sure. That was the event that set off my kouhais brainrot <3
Ritsu and Arashi discuss how there are so many newcomers in Knights, that soon it will be as big as Chess was, and how worried they are about it. (They also have a cute moment where they call Tsukasa a miracle, which is sooo adorable, the way they love Tsukasa so much.... sobs).
The convo basically sums up their past arc (the War stuff, Tsukasa being the miracle that helped them heal and come together, etc), but also sets up something that's gonna be recurrent in their future arc: the amount of newbies they have, and how it affects the unit as a whole.
The very first time we see Knights in !!, even before they showed up in the Main Story, was the gacha story Meowsketeers, the first !! gacha. Which, surprise, is dealing with the kouhais :)
In Meowsketeers, Ritsu is bothered by how Tsukasa just bluntly dismissed a bunch of newbies because they weren't taking things seriously. Tsukasa's argument was that it's ok if you just want to have fun as an idol, but in that case they should just go to other units, because, in Knights, he wants only people who take their activities more seriously - after all, they are the top earners of ES. (Which, looking back now, is sooo funny considering how stubborn Tsukasa is in protecting his kouhais later LOL).
Anyway, Ritsu really doesn't agree with that and spends most of the story stressed about it. He understands Tsukasa's point, and he wants to support Tsukasa since they chose him as their King, but he also feels sorry for the newbies. It all gets solved when the newbies send him a video of them practicing, and apologize for not taking it seriously before, and ask him to vouch for them to be let back in the unit, and he promises them he'll convince Tsukasa to let them join again. (We are never told if Tsukasa lets them back in or not btw lol I just assume he did).
In my opinion, it’s not for nothing that this was the first Knights story in !!, as it sets up the important themes of:
- Tsukasa is not adding just anyone, he wants his newbies to make an effort!
- Ritsu is pretty attached to them, despite the worries he voiced in Operetta, and it shows (especially in euthanasia lol)
- Knights as a whole doing their best to support Tsukasa’s decisions as their leader, even if they have complaints (they’re so cute in this story btw, teasing him and all, really, go read it)
But then you might ask, why tf was their first event Next Door, which has nothing to do with the kouhais?
Next Door, my behated <3, sets up another plot that inconveniences Knights later, ESPECIALLY in Sudden Death: Leo getting shipped off to Italy with Izumi. Now, I’m not sure in universe, but irl Leo and Izumi are arguably the most popular Knights, along with Ritsu. So let’s say it might be the same in universe: them being away would be an inconvenience to knights, right?
Exactly :)
Later in SS, when Knights’ orders get leaked, Leo wants to stay in Japan to support them, but he and Izumi have to go to Eurovisio--, I mean, a festival in Europe. Not to mention the amount of times they have to fly back and forth between Japan and Italy in other stories. Back then it was mostly a funny gag, but then Sudden Death actually used it as a real problem for them.
Would Leo and Izumi being there have changed how things happened? Likely not lol but we’ll never know.
I’ll get back to this, but back to the kouhais.
Next event, the first Knights unit song event, euthanasia, they’re once again the source of conflict. Izumi is upset that Knights funds and time are being used on the kouhais, Tsukasa insists it’s a necessary investment. Leo agrees with Tsukasa, because he wants to support him, as the former King (he actually does this a lot through this arc tbh and it’s so cute). Arashi sort of agrees with Izumi, despite being in Yumenosaki and supporting Tsukasa, she agrees that she doesn’t want to spend her time training the newbies, but instead improving herself. Ritsu isn’t happy with all the fighting and proposes a duel, euthanasia.
The thing is euthanasia is just a play for him to prove the kouhais aren’t just useless deadweight (as he has them performing alongside Knights), but he also understands Izumi’s and Arashi’s worries, so his solution is to leave the kouhais training in the hands of the Producer Association.
This event also brings back the concern Ritsu and Arashi had back in Operetta: with this many newbies, soon Knighs will be like Chess, and we know how Chess ended, right? But Ritsu squashes those worries by showing that: 1) unlike Chess members, the newbies are hardworking, and 2) they have the support of groups like the Producer Association now, while back during the War, Chess (and all other units) were on their own.
Also, one thing almost everyone forgets is that Chess actually ended because of the new payment system the student council set up: units received a certain amount for their lives, and it was up to them to share among the members, so the more members a unit had the less the individuals would be paid. Having a unit with more than 5 members would mean their payment would be less than their investments in the show, making it a loss to have to have so many members.
But Knights is a top earner now, one of the Big 3 of ES, so money is not a concern for them.
So now the newbies are not much of a hindrance to Knights, what else next?
After euthanasia, we get Fragrance, which again has nothing to do with the newbies, just like Sunshine, which is just Knights on vacation. But I’ll get back to that.
Fragrance is a pretty fun story, as it picks up on Arashi’s individualistic side (I don’t think it’s a bad thing btw, it’s one of Knights’ charm points imo). They’re offered to work with Aarashi’s favorite perfume brand, but she hesitates because he doesn’t want to taint her good memories of it. The others try to force her hand on it, and she ends up getting mad at them when they try to turn it into a duel. It’s a pretty good story for Arashi, as she shows her more assertive side again (after being more or less just going along with whatever their cute King suggested), but it’s also a pretty interesting story for Ritsu, imo. Back in !, he was a more laid back character who didn’t meddle so much, and Horror Night Halloween demonstrates this pretty well in the flashback sequence: he didn’t have the courage to step in and change things. When Izumi and Leo had that fight, he could only stand there listening behind that door. Now he doesn’t just stand there doing nothing, but actually takes action when Knights need it. Only this time he goes a bit overboard and ends up upsetting Arashi lol. It worked well with the kouhais conflict before, but he’s still learning how to balance his meddling lmao
Then after this we get, Sudden Death. (Man, I hate the SS arc…)
This time we get an interesting info on the kouhais: there are other, smaller, subunits of kouhais competing in Knights’ name in other regions. And there are about six of them accompanying Knights here, although they’re “in hiding”, as apparently they’re not very good yet.
I won’t give a summary on this story because it’s long and I always end up going on a hate tangent, but what’s important here are two things: the already mentioned bit of Izumi and Leo having to be abroad being an actual problem this time, and Tsukasa’s feelings for the kouhais.
I’ve talked a lot about this before on the bird app, but: Tsukasa LOVES these kids, despite whatever he says. Trust me.
After Tsukasa’s, uh, “execution” he’s too depressed to leave his room, so he can’t help Ritsu and Arashi with the plan of performing for an entire week in the avenue they reserved. Instead, it is the six not-very-good kouhais who step in to help them in his place. He reflects that he hadn’t really seen them as individuals before, but as tools, as an investiment for Knights. “Kohaku” argues that that’s not true, he must have cared for them or else they wouldn’t have stepped in to help as they did.
Sudden Death shows Tsukasa’s first failure as Knights’ leader. He trusted someone else and got betrayed. He then refused to fight back, even though he knew it would affect Knights negatively, to protect Kohaku’s family. In Requiem, when he received the crown, he declared he wouldn’t choose between his career as an idol, as Knights, and his family. But here he’s finally forced to choose between Knights and his family (Kohaku and the Oukawa clan). And he chooses his family. And it hurts him so much he’s almost suicidal.
And this is basically the last we see of Knights as a whole in this year, chronologically. We get a small peek at them during the SS finals, but it’s mostly them bickering. After this event, which reportedly left every TsukasaP dead, we rewind back in the year, to Tanabata in Seven Bridges, and the vacation in Sunshine.
Sunshine is a special case, the “funny filler vacation event”, the “beach episode” if you will. Leo fakes a slump to force Knights to go on vacation, except this vacation is basically performing at a summer festival, but which will allow them a few days to relax at the beach. And yeah, it’s funny and cute, until you realize this happens riiiight before A Dark Night’s Passing (aka that whole GFK mess, actually Leo might have already been involved in that guy during this) and Next Door (aka Leo getting scared his friends would use him, but then plotting a Judgment where he’d purposefully lose and allow them to do whatever they wanted with him, which ended up in him benign sent to Izumi to deal with). Fun stuff, right? Haha…. laughs in sad LeoP.
Seven Bridges once again is an Arashi focus, kicking off the 1.5 Main Story arc, with the plot of the cenotaph being removed and Arashi being upset about it. It also introduces Hitsugi/Negi.
But it also shows the kouhais once again, and how they were being treated by the students in the producer course (basically being ignored by the producers-to-be, who were all starry-eyed about working with THE Knights and only seemed to care about Ritsu, Arashi and Tsukasa), and Tsukasa being upset about it.
Now forgive me for being vague as this event wasn’t fully translated yet and I only read the livetweets a while ago. But basically Tsukasa is pretty upset at the Peace Party (a group of producer students who basically decides who will produce Knights, and has been lowkey bullying Anzu and Hitsugi/Negi), and after it is revealed that the cenotaph is being removed because of the Tanabata plan which the Peace Party forced Anzu to sign as her own, coupled with them treating the kouhais as less then, Tsukasa decides to basically boycott the school’s Tanabata festival and refuses to let Knights participate in it, instead choosing to participate in ES’s Tanabata. Of course, they end up participating later (I don’t remember exactly why, but if I’m not mistaken it’s because Anzu changes the plan to mix the school’s festival with ES, or something like that), but what matters to me is: Tsukasa is SO upset on the behalf of Arashi (who’s upset about the cenotaph being removed), Anzu (who’s being bullied by the Peace Party), AND his kouhais (who are being mistreated and ignored by the producer students).
But didn’t he say the kouhais were just some assets to him??
We get now to Mad Tea Party, which is set in November, right after Fragrance. Knights want their newbies to be the ones to participate in Underland (that Alice themed event we saw in Ra*bits and Alkaloid already), to better promote the newbies. Until Izumi learns that a fashion designer he admires is designing the outfits for it, and then he demands to participate too. They decide the five older members will participate along with the kouhais, but again Izumi is pissed that Ritsu/Arashi/Tsukasa are holding back during practice for the kouhais. He demands they choose only the best ones to participate. Tsukasa wants everyone to participate. Fight (duel) ensues.
We once again get Tsukasa “newbies are just an investment” Suou fighting for his kouhais. Once again we get Izumi on the opposite side of him.
This event also has an interesting point for Izumi’s character, with him complaining, why do they have to take it easy with the kouhais? Izumi himself didn’t have it easy when he started as a model and later as an idol! Remember how his favorite hobby is to bully newbies? His justification is that he wants to prepare them for how harsh the entertainment world is. This ends up clasing with how Tsukasa treats the kouhais.
But wait, wasn’t Tsukasa harsh to them during Meowsketeers?? He kicked some of them off because they weren’t taking it seriously!!
Exactly. Back then, during Meowsketeers, which happens early in the timeline, they weren’t taking it seriously. Mad Party happens in November, after euthanasia, where Ritsu mentions their kouhais are hardworking and won’t set them back. They are Knights too.
3. The real arc
I’ve talked a lot, but I’ll try to put it clearly now: this entire time, Knights arc has been about Tsukasa setting in as Knights leader, and how Knights support him/react to his actions.
Tsukasa is the youngest member of the original five. He’s also many times been referred to by them as their miracle. The one who guided them back to the light. Izumi puts it clearly in Requiem that they only kicked their asses back into gear because they had a “cute kouhai” nagging at them.
But because he’s so young and inexperienced, he also needs their support. He makes decisions they’re not always happy about, but he insists he doesn’t want to be a tyrant, so everytime they’re not satisfied with something they argue and duel until they come to an agreement. It always ends up mostly ok, until it doesn’t in Sudden Death.
Everything lines up to go wrong in Sudden Death. They’re up against Tsukasa’s dear Kohakun, who he absolutely trusts. Kohaku doesn’t know what the rest of his unit are up to. Izumi and Leo have to leave and can’t help them. Even Ritsu, Knights’ strategist, didn’t predict what would happen, because despite everyone being wary of Crazy:B, they decided to support Tsukasa who thought he could trust them. The consequences of both Knights and Crazy:B’s orders affect Kohaku, who’s loved by both Crazy:B and Tsukasa.
Even if they could have escaped the trap Crazy:B prepared for them, Tsukasa would have still been affected, as Crazy:B NEEDED to defeat Knights, or else Kohaku’s family would suffer. Tsukasa wasn’t aware of that back then, but the results would still hurt him regardless of what happened.
But it did happen, and Tsukasa had his first failure as Knights leader. And when he was at his lowest and couldn’t be there with his seniors, it were his kouhais who were there. Tsukasa thinks he “neglected” the kouhais, but “Kohaku” claims they must admire him, even be grateful to him.
We are never given names or faces for the kouhais. We are only told of their actions and lines through other characters, they’re basically NPCs. Ironically, they’re a tool in the story (but not in the way Tsukasa thinks lol): they’re here to showcase Tsukasa’s leadership skills. Even though Tsukasa believes he “neglected” them, we see it time and time again in other events how he stubbornly fought for them, even against his own beloved senpais. He diligently trained and invested time and money in them. He might have thought of them as mere assets, but they likely didn’t see it like this. What would you think if you had a senpai fighting for you, investing so much in your idol career, trying his best to make sure you flourish as Knights members? “Kohaku” was probably right. They likely admire him. Why else would they continue to perform even after they lost? Even after they saw their leader go through such a humiliating defeat? Everything Tsukasa did for them led to them being loyal to him.
This also brings back the parallel to Chess, which dissolved immediately after the students were told there wouldn’t be many benefits to being in a big unit. They weren’t loyal to each other, even before that the members barely even tried. When Leo offered them money in exchange for them not participating in Checkmate, resulting in their default loss and Knights victory, they gleefully accepted it. Because they weren’t “serious” about being idols. They didn’t have the pride and the will to win. They didn’t really care about that battle.
Ritsu and Arashi in Operetta, Izumi and Arashi in euthanasia, they were all concerned about Knights ending up like Chess, filled with a bunch of lazy members who would just coast along to their fame and not really do anything. But because of how strict Tsukasa was in Meowsketeers, how stubborn he was about how they were treated in Seven Bridges, how insistent he was through most of the !! events about training and investing in them, the newbies are now hardworking, loyal members to Knights.
Tl;dr: Knights kouhais were necessary tools to showcase Tsukasa’s leadership skills and how different Knights are now from Chess, hope this helps <3. Tsukasa is a LIAR, who says he neglected his kouhais but he’s fought basically everyone in Knights to keep them there. Ritsu is also the ultimate kouhai advocate, maybe even more than Tsukasa himself, and always comes up with a way to help them. IzuAra aren’t too happy, but Arashi still does her best to support Tsukasa, and Izumi ends up armstrong into training the kouhais too in Mad Part LOL. Leo had his Opinions, but ultimately he wants to support Tsukasa, as the old king supporting the new king. Knights kouhais are all stubborn hardworking babies who LOVE Tsukasa, and I’ll keep brainrotting over then as long as happyele keeps giving me Tsukasa being cute with them!
4. Conclusion: two kings?
We still have Knights climax story to go, a guaranteed Tsukasa 5* event. My prediction is that it will pick up from where Sudden Death left off, mostly on Tsukasa’s feelings of how he failed as a leader and how his seniors AND his kouhais still supported him after that.
Back when !! released, there was an interesting plot thread that was thrown in and then forgotten: Leo and Tsukasa acting as the two kings of Knights.
Tsukasa is too belligerent in the new arc, according to main story, and Leo usually acts as the face of Knights, to direct any ill comment towards him instead of at Tsukasa. Leo talked more about it in his first idol story, if I’m not mistaken, saying it confused the fans and how it looked like Knights had two Kings now, and that they might need to solve this with a Judgment lol.
And then that plot thread was just. Completely forgotten and dropped LOL. With Leo being shipped off to Italy with Izumi, supposedly Tsukasa was free to act as the absolute King and ultimate face of Knights, right?
I think that might be brought back after Sudden Death, though. We might get some conflict about how his actions led to Knights defeat, especially contrasted with how Leo wasn’t there to take the brunt of it. We were told the fans weren’t happy at all about what happened, in Parallel World Nazuna comments the fans were MAD at Crazy:B lol. So who knows, maybe the ultimate test of Tsukasa’s leadership is still to come.
It might just be my wishful thinking tho because I want leokasa gay fighting again <3
Thanks for coming to my tedtalk :)

This is my first post ever and I thought maybe I could share a nice story with ya all. I've never really put it in complete order so it's time I do that.
As prelude, I own 3 cats. One of them, the oldest, is, at the time of writing this, 12 years old, with his papers noting that he was born the 6th of April 2012, 3 days after my dad's birthday. His name is Sacha, despite the vets who all name him Sasha (and also wrote that he's a girl for some reason? I mean he doesn't seem bothered but I don't think he understands English.) His name is kinda dumb but my bro named him. I prefer giving Egyptian names to my cats.
I got Sacha around 2015, I don't really remember which month. I was around 13 at the time and my first cat had just died. My mom was really feeling bad so we adopted Sacha from a center. His previous owners had placed him there cuz the lady got pregnant and apparently cats can mess with fetuses or something. Idk but I think his previous owners were lame cuz he stayed in that center for like 6 months and they took bad care of him. His claws grew in his paws, his fur got a lot of knots and he smelled really bad. He's half Persian so he needs a lot of care.
When he arrived home he was super sweet but really doing poorly. We toon him to the vet for his claws and hired a lady to remove his knots. He didn't like his new cut so the lady zooted him on I thinl weed? It was some drug, mfer has had more experiences with illicit substances than I and I'm kinda jealous tbh.
Sacha was my only cat for a while. My mom adopted Bagheera, a kitten born from one of her sister's cats when she divorced my dad around 2016 and Sacha stayed at my dad's place with me and my brother (the fucker who named him with such a lame name).
Anyway time passed, I lived my best life with my cat, took care of him, took him to vet every year for his vaccines (he goes outside), reconnected with my mom and adopted a kitten who was born in my mom's backyard and named him Settra. So that's why I have 3 cats. But back on track, in 2022 Sacha got an eye infection. We had to do a lot of ophtalmology to get it sorted and my mom helped a lot with that despite the fact that the cat wasn't even in her home. His eye's doing okay now but he needed new material be brought in his eye. Persians tend to be weak in eyes and nose.
Then when the summer vacations of 2023 ended, Sacha got sick. At first it was a minor cold so we didn't do anything, some snot in his nose, then around mid September he ate less. Come end of September and he was doing bad, still eating but always sneezing and his throat was inflamed. I brought him to the vet and he was given antibiotics that kinda helped.
By the beginning of October Sacha was doing pretty poorly and eating way less. He was always a fat cat so this concerned me a lot. The vet couldn't tell why the antibiotics weren't acting as he was supposed to have an infection so they gave him more and asked us to get a visit to a pet hospital 1h of travel away (Belgium is small, 1h of travel looks a lot for me but for American folks it's prilly shorert). So we did, got something planned for end of october. I wanted faster but they were full and he was still eating so not an emergency.
Meanwhile Sacha's health got worse. One of his eyes (not the one who had the surgery) couldn't open and he had little things in the part of forehead between his eyes that made a sort of scritchy sound when you ran your hand over it. Most concerningly, he wasn't eating. We (my mom and I) took him to another vet who did acupuncture with relative success, allowed Sacha to eat well for a day or two before going back to not eating.
I was getting really desperate so I mixed his food and fed him with a syringe for a week. I knew if my dad knew he wasn't eating, he'd suggest euthanasia as the costs of bringing a pet to the hospital are quite high. So I took his wet food, put it in my mom's mixer and mixed it for like 15 minutes when going back from school while dad was away, then cut it into even smaller bits and forcefed him with a syringe (his throat was super inflamed and small so he was probably in pain and I knew it but I couldn't stand to watch him thin like that).
On the 26th of October, we went to the hospital for him. My mom and I were reluctant to go there because it's an universitary hospital and we were kinda scared that he'd be put on life support and...I guess experimented on? We didn't want his life be prolonged if he was in constant pain but we went nonetheless. My mom took a day off work (again, she took a lot to get the cat to the vet) and I warned my Spanish teacher that I couldn't attend. She's a really sweet lady and I told her the story, she was super supportive.
The hospital was not all like we anticipated. The doctors were really charming and quite open with how much stuff cost. I speak French and the hospital staff spoke Dutch so we settled on English as a language to communicate with. Tirns out spending all that time playing dnd with strangers on discord paid off for me, I was able to talk with these docs no problem.
Of course without insurance it was expensive but it was doable to pay. They ran scans on Sacha and it was promising, they said he had an infection but had the right antibiotics for him. Since he didn't eat, they wanted to keep him there and we agreed. We gave our phone numbers and left.
When we visited Sacha the following day, they told us he had a lymphoma. It's blood cancer for those who dunno what that means (I certainly didn't till October). They asked us if we wanted to begin chemo.
I was fucking devastated. That cat had been with me through my parents' divorce, the death of family members, graduation, the lowest of my sick days and the brightest of my good days. I didn't want to leave him die of hunger without a fight.
My mom didn't have enough money to pay for it in full and my dad'd never use his money to pay for a cat's chemotherapy so I agreed to pay most of ot. I had a decent bit of money in a bank account, I basically never buy anything so pockeh money, student job money and birthday money stacked up. My dad'd never have allowed me to pay for that (neither him nor I even knew they had chemotherapy for cats) so I lied and said my mom paid for it.
He stayed at the hospital until the 31st of October, of course we visited him everyday and the hospital staff kept us informed with daily phonecalls to schedule a visit and tell us what was up. During that time (5 days since he arrived, 4 days since chemo started) they put a tube in his throat to feed him and started the chemo.
That. Shit. Worked. When we brought him home, he could open his eye again and even wanted to go for food (motherfucker do you know how much that tube costs?). He played with the other cats and we had a weekly checkup for him. I missed many Spanish classes. During his time at the center he really liked one doctor who calls him Sir and basically saved his life.
Of course he stayed at my mom's place. It was easier for feeding through his tube at first, my mom was in vacations and he needed 3 meals a day, then he stayed there. Wasn't gonna let him stay in the home of a person who'd let him die. I love my dad but fuck him for this. He admitted several times he'd have never brought my cat to that hospital (so he'd have left him die of cancer and hunger, poor cat was thinning by the day).
His tube was removed a month later and visits moved to once every 3 weeks. It's been continuing since then with me and my mom paying 50/50 for the costs. I missed a university travel to Athens because I couldn't afford it (something I'll never admit to my parents, I pretended there was drama and I didn't want to get involved) and I guess I won't leave the country this year. Honestly I'd have cut both arms to save that cat so it's a small price.
The people at the hospital love him too. He's really friendly so students can take his blood and try to take his heartbeat without worries. Problem is that he purrs too loud for a good lung listening to take place. Turns out Sacha loves getting pets and attention from groups of students and doctors who give him treats and headpats. He has done more drugs than me and has a better date game than me.
It's been quite a while now. Sacha's been doing really well and the recent reports note that he is in remission. I may have cried when I read that mail ngl. He goes outside and killed a big pigeon a few weeks ago. He plays with the other cats, he really likes Settra and for the first time in his life he does playfight. Bagheera likes him as a punching bag despite being smaller than him. My mom stays with him everyday and I visit half of the days of the week. He eats like a lion too, he went from 3 kilos to 4.7 kilos when he was last checked this Wednesday.
I guess this is a selfish post, it's kind of my way of both thanking the people who helped me like my mom, the docs and my Spanish teacher, without having to say thank you to their faces yet again, and a way of making my cat immortal in a way. Even with all the help, Sacha's gonna be gone one day, hopefully in a very long time. But this post'll remain for a while more so there'll be a trace of what humans did for that cat.
I also wanted to say that please don't be afraid to go to universitary pet hospitals if you have the means to afford it. It's a scary place, I didn't even know it existed but these people aren't out there vivisecting animals. They're really nice. And don't give up too early on stuff that matters to you, it's really worth to keep going, at least in this case.
And if you could do a few prayers for Sacha, that'd genuinely mean a lot to me.
Anyway here is the cat tax. I've included quite a few pics so this post can be even longer than it is.

I love Mors's design it reminds me quite a bit if Thanatos a sort of benevolent caretaker of the dead who embodies the meaning of euthanasia or a good or well death.
And the way he cares for his dead brothers really made me tear up. Even if they weren't appreciated or cared for in life at least they will be in death.
Once again great work and pls keep it up I live for your art and your writing.
Thank you so much for liking Morbs! He isn't specifically inspired by any other existing character/entity, but kind of is more a logical product of his environment and the narrative space I need him to occupy. Benevolent caretaker of the dead is very fitting for him though! Because his men have already passed, he's allowed to show them a kind of tenderness and quiet that is so hard to find when they're alive and fighting for their lives.
Thank you so much for stopping by, and for liking my boy <3

Chester is celebrating his second Gotcha Day with me on December 8th! To celebrate 2 years with my favorite nemesis I'd like to try to raise money for a local parrot rescue, Center for Animal Rehab and Education in Waukesha, Wisconsin. I've personally never adopted from them, but I've gone in to look at birds and purchased toys from their storefront. My mom briefly volunteered for them before life got too hectic.
For those who don't know I ended up with Chester through a client at the clinic. She had owned Chester for 25 years. As she was getting older and having health issues she had less time for him, she was in and out of the hospital often. Chester became extremely aggressive due to this and she became unable to handle him at all. She was at her wits end and considering euthanasia. Doc talked to me and I agreed to give Chester a home if the client was willing. She was extremely thankful and very sad to lose her friend.
Chester does not like me. If it weren't for the fact that I feed him I'm pretty sure he'd kill me in his sleep. However, he loves Joey and also loves to go to his grandma's house to spend time with her flock and in her aviary.
I set a goal of $100 and started us off with a donation of $25. Any money over the goal will also go to CARE. Please don't feel any pressure to donate, especially since I know December can be a tight month for people financially. Thank you to anyone who does donate or even just shares this post. I'll post updates with how much money we've raised and let you guys know when I mail out the check!

I'm not gonna lie, I'm kinda addicted to my grief. It makes me feel connected to him ...somehow. Like it was the last thing he did so I'm clinging to it. Wearing it like a costume. Enabling it to consume my soul. I don't care. I want my husband but nobody can raise the dead and euthanasia is not a thing for humans.
I want him to haunt me. So bad. I don't care if it's scary. I just want him. I just want to feel whole again but only he can do that for me.
All these songs he dedicated to us. All these sweet and kind lyrics. I can't tell if it's toxic for me to hear it or toxic to avoid it. I don't have a fucking clue what's good for me now. But I refuse to stop thinking about him. I don't care if it's toxic or not. My life was supposed to encircle his. We had plans. They weren't amazing but we just wanted an apartment to grow old together in. Why couldn't I have that? Why was life so hard on us? Why in the end, when we were finally able to prepare for the life we wanted did he get ripped away from me?
This feels like a punishment.

The voice startles you. "Heresy?" Once again, there's a pause. "Yeah, that's me." You can practically hear her awkward gestures through your headphones. "I guess I owe you some answers, huh?" "Yeah, you do." You hear her sigh. "You wanted to know what the euthanasia protocol is. It sounds like you've read a bit about how the moon got terraformed." You nod. "Yeah, I have." "Have you ever wondered how exactly they started making it lush and green in the first place? How they got air and an atmosphere and earthlike gravity?" "I thought Apollo was shipping materials over," you posit. "Weren't they bringing over materials to do that?" You have to wait a while before you get a response. "Yeah, they did. But they had to establish a way to terraform it first. Isn't it backwards? That they started shipping over materials after the moon already started turning green and blue?" You had never really considered it, but she's right. The newspaper article said that the moon was already partially terraformed by the time rockets were flying. "Well, how did they do it?"
"Apollo was…experimenting. They had access to fringe technology and they used it to make the moon habitable. They called it the Lunar Megastructure." The name is familiar to you. "The euthanasia protocol mentioned that." "Yeah, exactly. But the thing is, them calling it a 'structure' is a bit deceptive. It's….well…" She fumbles for a while. You're not sure where she's headed with this but you're not sure you like it. "It's…alive."
Alive…? "What do you mean, it's alive? It's a planet." You hear her fumble a little and stumble over her words, trying to find the right way to phrase it. "There's something deep beneath the surface. They grew it at the core of the moon. And they engineered it to terraform the moon. It absorbed moon dust and replaced it with dirt. It absorbed waste and chemicals and turned them into clean water. It increased the density and gravity. It let them grow plant life and oxygenate the atmosphere. It's the only reason you're alive right now."
You both are left in silence again. You can almost hear how painful explaining these things is for her. And you don't blame her. You feel like nothing is real. "You're telling me that there's a giant living thing at the center of the planet?" "Yeah, I am." "But that doesn't make any sense, how is that connected to the stations? Why did they think it could read what they said on their computers?" "Well, it's alive, but it's also mechanical. It's hard to explain. The computers are connected to it directly, and they used that to monitor its brain waves and vitals. The euthanasia protocol was an emergency measure in case it started to evolve beyond its original parameters and became an active threat. They called it a code 108." You don't feel very well. Your head is spinning. Not only was everything you knew a lie, but you're standing on top of a massive monster. What the hell is happening?
"Sofia? Can I ask you something?" You can't bear to give a response. After a few seconds though, she asks you anyway. "Why do you know what a computer is?" Your eyes widen. "What do you mean?" "Sofia…you don't have computers. You don't have radios. You've never seen anything like the hatch in your entire life. Why do you know what a computer is?" You sit quietly. She's….she's right. All communication is through letters or word of mouth. All entertainment is through books and live theater and music. You had never really realized. You jumped right on using the computer in the hatch without even considering the contradiction. "Sofia, all of this is happening for a reason. You knew what a computer was because you were chosen. You found me because you were chosen. Have you ever thought about the improbability of it all? That you just happened to find one of few functional stations right along your walk to school? That was only being held shut with a single lock? That you somehow knew how everything worked? And that my first attempt at communication was met with your response?" You're not sure what to say. "So what, you think I was destined to find this?" Her response, unlike yours, is instant. "Yes. You were. You and I both were. And now we need to take the next step together."
"What's the next step?" There's silence from the line for the longest time. "You need to come here." Everything is hitting you all at once. You wonder if you can even make it home in this state, much less go to Earth. "You need me to come to Earth?" "They used to fly back and forth all the time. There's still a station for launching rockets. You need to go there and fly to Earth. I can tell you how."
"Why are you so sure I can do it?" "Because it doesn't matter what either of us say or do or think. We're part of a plan greater than us. No matter how we feel we'll always find our way to the path. It was planned long before either of us existed. From the very beginning of the universe everything we've ever done or are doing right now was already decided. If you need to come to Earth, you will." You're not sure what to say. You suppose Heresy was right, everything she had to say was certainly a lot to take in. You didn't even realize how much you were fiddling around nervously. You're turning in the office chair and flipping through some of the scattered papers on the desk. To her credit, Heresy is giving you the room to process it. It's in that silence that you make your choice. "OK, what do I need to do?"

I know you said you were done posting about Zeke for awhile lol, but your recent post made me think of something I’ve been wondering about. Can you talk about Zekes final internal monologue where he learns the meaning of life? Does he feel any sort of remorse for what he’s done after his realization, and is that why he accepted and allowed Levi to kill him right after?
Hell no, lol. Zeke even says he would still go through with his euthanasia plan, which means he didn't regret shit.
People always want to give Zeke credit for, at the literal 11th hour, doing the right thing and helping to stop the Rumbling. But my issue with Zeke here is that he was too busy wallowing in self-pity over not being able to fulfill his plan and losing out to Eren, that he let 80% of the world's population die before he manned up and actually did something. Now some people want to claim that Zeke couldn't find a way out of the Paths , and that's why he didn't lift a finger to stop it beforehand, but that's bullshit. Zeke says to Armin, when Armin asks him if there's a way out, "Who knows? I think it's impossible now," which tells me Zeke never even tried to leave. Again, he was too busy feeling sorry for himself to make the attempt. This is also supported by the fact that as soon as Armin convinces him that his own life wasn't worthless after all, he's immediately able to escape Paths.
The other thing people don't seem to want to acknowledge is that, Zeke doing the right thing, for once, is again dependent on whether he can relate it to himself, or filter it through his own existence. It's entirely predicated on him finding value in his own life, not anybody else', which shows us that he's still just as narcissistic and self-centered as ever. He's only able to consider that other people's lives might have value once he's able to believe his own life has value. He's never able to step outside himself, he's never able to empathize with other people's feelings. It's still all about him. Everything has to relate to him in some way, everything can only be viewed through the lens of his own experiences. It's impossible for him to even consider or recognize that other people's thoughts and feelings and wishes can be separate from his own and still hold just as much weight and importance. That's why Zeke has no issue with taking people's agency away, with deciding for them what their lives are worth. Because other people don't even really exist to him. They have no relevance in his mind to anything. They're basically just there to affirm his own importance and relevance. Acceptable sacrifices to his ego and self-image as a savior. His insistence at the end that he would still go through with his plan shows that he hasn't really learned anything, or changed in any fundamental way. He still thinks people's lives are worthless and that they would be better off dead, and that he should get to be the one who decides that for them.
In the end, him letting Levi kill him was really just a continuation of his self-centered egotism. He decided his own life wasn't as bad or worthless as he'd previously believed, so maybe other people's weren't either. He couldn't come to that conclusion without making himself the center of it.

the single clause we hear from the anime-only humanity charter could easily be read in a fundie pro life way (ironic given the fritz-reiss “we deserve to die” thing, in which i include zeke's euthanasia plan) so i can’t imagine the walls tolerating abortion or suicide either?? of course the horny fanfic flip side of all this is breeding and marriage law and mpreg but i am a killjoy: if there is this 'life' culture (life no matter the cost? life where no need is met? life penned in like cattle, yeah, ereh), the survey corps is extra aberrant, beyond wasting taxpayer dollars like the crowds grumble, their apparent death-seeking is metaphysically wrong/the population culling that killed armin's grandpa could really have led to a much earlier rebellion if the church weren't in on the conspiracy/actually i think there should be wallist sects and the close collaboration of the first interior squad with the wallists higher ups smack of vatican and jesuit conspiracy theories

The first time he saw you across the room his stare lingered before his mate patted him out of it. Oh- yeah, right. He was a little nervous, but he thought this would be fun.
And when you talked with others, he'd glance to poke his head over at your social vitality.
Greeted you like he would anyone else on the team. Respectfully, heartily offered a hand out to dap you up with a nod, a smiley glint in his eye.
Thank fuck, someone else with a normal accent. All these Horrible Histories-ass team members. When you got misunderstood once Soap just bumped your shoulder in camaraderie. "Hah! See Ghost, ye eejit. Ye can't even recognize yer own- it's not just me, yer just due hearing aids at yer big age."
Would 'casually' invite you out to hit a pub with a group on downtime in case you weren't invited already.
He'd exhale and shrug his shoulders seeing you across the room, trying to psyche himself up to approach you. Be normal, MacTavish.
You both worked under the Allegiance, your unit a flexible help/home-base support to use for specialist brigades like Task Force 141.
Soap had always kept an eye out when he walked past your worksite. One day, he noticed you working late, swamped with gun repairs that'd fallen hard off cargo transport.
"Wanna bet I can fix that?" He pointed to (for him) an intimidatingly complex mess of parts. "If I win, I can take you out. Or- I can just have your gratitude. Ladies choice." He nodded his chin up as he spoke to pretend he wasn't shitting himself internally.
If you agreed he relievedly sat down next to you, double-taking at some tools he didn't know how to use before just using his hands for the most-part. He studiously re-assembled (?) the parts- with some definite back and forth- with surprising swiftness. Any of your teasing just made him playfully curse back at you and work harder.
He...made..something? It looked like it worked, but definitely not OSHA certified. Would definitely have to take this verdict to the judges.
Makes the highest pitch noise you've heard him make as he leant towards you to look at your phone. Holy shit: lizard. Uh- gecko, right.
"Ah, handsome fucker isnae." He peered with focused breath.
Aye, Hercules? Suits him. Oh-! No fucking way. He put his finger up, urging you to wait as he whips out his phone to focusedly scroll for something, swaying as he stood. Waaait. Waittt..
Here. He leant down close over your shoulder. A picture of a Shetland sheepdog (that glam long-hair orange, white, black short-medium herding dog).
"Ariel." Uh-huh. He leant on his hand now on your seat behind you in-between scrolling to more pictures of her. "Designer adult dog in the shelter 'caus her last owner couldn't hack her. Lively, good eye, biter: perfect. Was on the kill list. I begged me mam for her." He swiped to a picture of kid him beaming, hugging her. "She kept me in shape better than any Sarg. I was gonna call her Shit Nugget or something, but mam wouldn't let me, so I settled for my favourite princess instead." ("Mermaids are fuckin cool.")
Soap rubbed your shoulder. "Ahh, c'mon. I'm sure the little guy'll survive without its mam for a bit."
"Tough seeing them grow up, huh?" He offered, tilting his head playfully before he searched your face, trying to think of something: "-Besides, you got a hercules right here." He joked, making a show of backing up to pat his scarred bicep.
"No? Yer breaking my back, lass.. Hmm.." He decided to stand and tried to cross his eyes to impersonate a gecko, I guess (??). So embarrassing. "Whats the difference. Thas right, indistinguishable."
Uses your shoulders as an arm-rest when standing in public in front of your team, pretending to be oblivious to your protest.
Would absolutely throw you over his shoulder for shits and giggles, or if you got too smart with him. Easy. Would obviously pretend to wobble and cackle, before adjusting your weight over his shoulder again and casually pretending to go about his business (to prove a point of just how much of a non-issue it was for him).
In-between deployments he'd lay back on your cot behind you, leaning on his elbow to try and precisely comb out/untangle any knots while your hair was still damp. He'd faux curse under his breath to himself and sit up, adjusting and getting you to sit 'properly' in front of him so he can do a better job. To attention please; this was a matter of pride /j.
When he comes back from work sore and groaning exasperatedly, he insists on cuddles whilst you're focused on crocheting. He climbs onto your bed situation and lays with a huff hugging your waist.
Remarks and looks over each crotchet project wholly whether it's half done or finished. " Waa!! Look at this wee fucker." -Shows it off to everyone.
"Ah yeh, my girlfriend, she can make all sortsa shit. She's like a lego character from those wee lego games."
Rolls his eyes to himself when he sees you staring at the others, sneaking up on you and leaning down to hug you over your shoulders.
His head lowered next to yours: "What're we looking at?" He'd question faux-softly.
"Uh-huh?" He follows your eyes to Ghost. "No. Be real lassie, thassa grim Christmas."
After he was finally reassured by a sufficient back and forth with a threateningly teasing tone he lets up, lulling his head to the side. "Yeah? Aye, that's what I thought. Atta girl." He kissed you on the cheek and released you.
He'd weaseled his way into your life, and you weren't too mad about it. He was your..weasel?

Late to the party but making an entrance, Murder Drones Episode 5 is finally out so at long last I can stop with the memes (for now) and share my thoughts on Dragons Rising so far.
Okay, first things first, I'm gonna be 100% honest with y'all: I low-key do not care about any of the new characters. I know, I know, BURN THE HERETIC, I can't really explain it myself. Maybe I'm just too attached to the OGs or haven't gotten to know the newbies well enough yet, but so far all I'm seeing is Average Shonen-Esque Protagonist, Nya 2.0 Catgirl Edition, Cute and Easily Marketable Dog-That-Is-Not-A-Dog, The Only One With A Mildly Interesting Backstory, and a bunch of generic cookie-cutter villains. It's not gonna make me stop watching or anything, it's just that they could all randomly vanish by the next episode and never be brought up ever again and I'd be totally fine with it. Certainly wouldn't be the first time this franchise has completely dropped something out of nowhere and hoped no one would notice.
A'ight, got that out of the way, now to start nitpicking: I don't understand why they're pronouncing Riyu as "Rai-yu." I thought it would've been "Ree-yu," like the dude from Street Fighter, and I'm not gonna say it any other way. And why do they keep trying to convince us that Lloyd had to be trained for years when in reality he mastered Spinjitzu within, like, a month at most? I'm going to assume that either A) He's just blatantly lying to make Arin feel better, because there is literally zero chance that Season Two took place over the course of multiple years, or B) Lloyd himself has absolutely no concept of time and can't even remember that he's, like, an eighteen-year-old in the body of a twenty-three-year-old by this point.
BTW Lloyd please do not try to be like Wu, you of all people should know what being like Wu entails. You're already in the "training child soldiers" phase, you can not go further or else you are going to hit the "keeping way too many things to yourself" stage and you know what always happened when Wu didn't tell anybody jack squat until it was too late. Heck, there is still a very real possibility that the Merge wouldn't have happened in the first place if he'd just been like "hey so all the Realms might start trying to fuse together soon and as per usual you're the only ones with a chance at stopping it" instead of sticking to his "The Apocalypse™ is coming for like the seventh time and all I'm gonna do about it is be needlessly vague and cryptic for no real reason" schtick.
They should not have given Ras and Rapton such similar names, I'm going to inevitably mix them up. Also Rapton you will never be Iron Baron. I never thought I'd say anything positive about Iron Baron but I could actually tolerate him, whereas I just wanna see Rapton get run over by a bus. And not even in a cathartic "I want she-whose-name-we-do-not-speak-in-this-household to be brutally murdered onscreen in such a horrific and violent manner that it'd never be allowed anywhere if they weren't Legos" way, just in the most apathetic "please remove this character from existence" way you can imagine.
I'll give them this, tho, the show itself is gorgeous to look at, and the concept is pretty nifty. And while I may not be completely in love with Sora and Arin, I'm still glad they didn't go the braindead babymode easy route of making the "next gen" series revolve around the OG Ninja's kids (even if it is mostly because it completely avoids the possibility of being forced to endure the timeline where Lloyd actually thought getting with she-whose-name-we-do-not-speak-in-this-household was a good idea). I'm definitely gonna stay tuned for Part Two, even if I'm admittedly not the biggest fan of what we've got so far. Hopefully it's all uphill from here.
(More spoiler-y stuff under the cut)
Wow I can't believe they somehow managed to make a Cloud Kingdom character more punchable than Fenwick. The scrollworms are pretty cute, tho. Also, uh, Euthanasia or whatever your name was, Morro would like to know your location.
DING DONG, THE WU IS DEAD! BAGELS FOR EVERYONE!
So on the one hand it seems like we might be getting slightly more focus on Lloyd's dragon side this time around, but on the other hand we've already had multiple instances where it could've been brought up but just wasn't, which could mean that it's all just more of the same token Chosen One™ nonsense we're used to and this post got hit by Quanish's dodgeball of prophecy. (Seriously, surely at least one of the super-mega-ultra-powerful Source Dragons should've been like "Kid what is wrong with your blood," right?)
But, on the chance that the former is the case...
What if the Imperium finds out about it and decides the weird little Oni-dragon-human grandson of literal God is a far more valuable prize?
Also this is how we can still get Garmadon's dragon half to show up please I am begging on my hands and knees
