Barbarian!Bakugo is a little bit… obsessed with lactation.
No, it’s not a new concept to him—he’s seen mothers feeding their children before, in fact, hardly ever put a thought to it.
But now that it’s you, now that it’s his child… it’s interesting to him. Beyond interesting, really. That someone he loves and desires so carnally can provide an almost irreplaceable service, one he is incapable of replicating despite how much he wants to provide for the both of you.
And he’d want to be present for most feedings anyway, both to bond and help ease the parenting load off your shoulders… but the whole time, he can’t take his eyes off your chest, where the little one is latched so safely and happy, suckling away as he stares in a protective haze, in awe. Blinking when baby blinks, wincing when you wince, his hands balling into fists when you sigh and the soft fat of your bosom jiggles.
He’s shy, though. Shy to admit his fascination despite how he asks to touch you one night, after the babe has been fed, swaddled and put to rest, and then rubs his fingers so gently against your nipple it starts to leak.
Bakugo looks at you under thick lashes, no blush because he’s seen you naked endless times, was there for the birth, but hesitant, almost… to do more than feel your raw areola underneath the rough pads of his fingertips. Even if, no sooner, does he put a thumb into his mouth to taste the few, silken drops of milk that escaped onto his skin.
Baby always eats first, of course, until plump and sleepy… but after that first touch, barbarian!Bakugo is no longer above licking up what’s left for him until your tits are relaxed and soft, then massaging you til there’s milk in abundance once more.

You know I was wondering if Crocodile ever did have any kind of involvement with the Revolutionary Army in secret (lest the Government finds out and revokes his Shichibukai status), what kind of involvement would that even have been
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And now, with both the Vegapunk/Ohara flashback and Kuma's flashback, it's being made very clear to us that the Revolutionary Army was broke as hell 22 years ago. Like the fact that this has been brought up twice now in a relatively short span of time is interesting to me, that's usually a sign it's not an unimportant plotpoint
But you know who would have had money to help fund the Army
A funny little warlord who would eventually go and build a fucking casino to run for funsies. A warlord who had to give the Government some of his Pirating Income to keep his warlord-status
Like Crocodile hated the Government anyways so why not help fund the Revolutionary Army in secret, out of spite if for no other reason
Vaguely related, but I keep on remembering this scene (post-Enies Lobby), which at first glance just seems like a basic Lore Dump
But then there's the
Tumblr media
"Yet..."
(Or "however", she says "no ni" in Japanese and you could translate that in many ways, I would probably have gone with "however" but that wouldn't have fit into the speechbubble)
Mind you, the conversation just kind of ends there, next we see Garp realize he probably shouldn't have mentioned Dragon infront of such a massive audience, so wherever that "yet" was going to lead to we will never find out, because Oda conveniently changed the subject before we got to it
And you know. Like yes, Robin could be just expressing her shock over finding out that the leader of the Revolutionary Army had a child with someone
But also, Robin was a part of an organization that was trying to overthrow one of the founding countries of the World Government in an explicit attempt to go against said Government (compared to like, Blackbeard, who currently wants to make Fullalead into a "pirate country" that's a part OF the World Government)
Like you don't have to be a genius to look at Crocodile's ultimate goals and compare that to what Dragon is doing and find a few similarities here and there maybe
(Also like, Crocodile's equivalent in Romancing SaGa 2 is meant to be Wagnas, the queer-coded leader of the Seven Heroes (whom the OG Shichibukai are based on) who "hoped to help the world". You know, an interesting detail and all.)
Not to mention, during the time Robin spent with Baroque Works, if Crocodile was ever in contact with the Revolutionary Army at all, considdering she has the ability to easily spy on people and that she didn't trust Crocodile one bit, it wouldn't be unsurprising if she ever spied on Crocodile and/or just overheard a phone call or knew about Crocodile having secret spending habits or something
(Mind you, I'm not saying "she knew" Crocodile was involved with the Revolutionaries, more that she might've been Suspecting Things, that "yet" being about her connecting the dots while unsure if her conclusion was right or not)
Of course Crocodile's plans can't have been Dragon Approved by any means, especially considdering the Army had been looking for Robin for over 10 years (pre-timeskip)
Tumblr media
Four years of which were with Crocodile. Like if he was FULLY allied with the Army and KNEW they were looking for Robin, surely he would've called Dragon and been like "hey I found the kid from Ohara, wanna come hang out" or something. But no, he had bigger plans and kept Robin a secret from the Revolutionaries and the Government alike
Also like, I have seen people question why the Revolutionaries weren't involved with Alabasta's rebellion at all, and "Oda hadn't come up with the Revolutionaries yet at the time of writing" (/"OP was meant to end at Alabasta at one point so there would've been no reason to introduce the subplot at that point") aside Between Baroque Works being a secret organization working undercover (thus the Army might not have been aware of the civil war being manufactured), the framing of the King making him look bad and very much the type of monarch that deserved to be overthrown in the Army's eyes, and Crocodile maybe lying through his teeth about what was happening in the country... Yeah, the Army's lack of involvement with Alabasta suddenly makes sense
EDIT Minor addition: Just realized that because Crocodile was technically working for the Government, if the Revs ever did send forces to participate in Alabasta's civil army and taking down the throne, the Government could've easily ordered Crocodile to step in to stop the rebellion and take down the Revolutionaries, right? Because he was supposed to be on the Government's side, right? And surely the Army wouldn't have wanted to fight against Crocodile if they were secretly allied (Croc's secret betrayal aside), and if Crocodile refused to fight the Revs the Government could've seen that as a reason to revoke his Shichibukai rights (which wouldn't be great if they wanted to keep Crocodile in a position where he could fund the Army?). So it could've also been a case of it being for the best for everyone's sake to let this one play out "naturally"
But my point is
I'm just deeply intriqued by these little details and wonder if I'm Actually Masterfully Connecting The Dots Like a True Genius or just seeing a pattern where there's none. Like this is far from confirming the theory, I'm just saying, the pieces do kinda fit together do they not

Pov: your dragon hubby gets some "help" to make ur wish come true (drabble)
(Nsfw below cut, mdni)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Impregnate her? How can you think you'd be up for that?"
A voice full of taunt spoke as your muffled whines and moans continued to fill the room, his tail tightening around your mouth and upper body at the other's words, the rough scales scrapping against your sensitive nipples while he kept you full with one dick in each of your holes.
He merely gave him a scornful look as he tried to focus on your body, his want to fulfill your wish never ceasing his thrusts into your tight holes.
"Too embarassed to even admit my purpose in being here to your beloved wife? If you'd rather want it to change to" mother of your children" then you'd only need to speak up."
His thrusts slowed down as the bed dipped infront of you, a bandaged hand tightly grasping your jaw, blurry eyes barely making out the silhouette of a familiar looking man and red eyes that seemed to glow in the dim light of the room inside the inn.
"The man you love is quite the fool for you if he's willing to call someone like me for help. Let's say my intrique couldn't keep me away so here I am."
Fingers digging into your hips from behind while the man freed his half hard member out of his pants.
"How does it feel to be soon indebted to me for the rest of your life?"
"Just shut up and get on with it. After that you'll be gone."
It was already enough that a reminder of him would be left for a lifetime. He didn't need the presence of the man himself as a form of tornment of his past.
Only a chuckle could be heard infront of you before you bucked into bandaged fingers on your clit.
"Loosen up if you want to be knocked up so badly like a whore."
Mind far too gone from the seemingly endless hours of being fucked, you could only nod at his words, not comprehending fully what was gonna happen.
Yet your body seemed to catch up quite well onto his words as you whined at the sensation of him slowly inserting a finger into your slicked pussy.
"What a slut. It hasn't been even an hour and she's so easily stuffed by you. Let's see how long it would take it to break her."
A hiss slipped out his mouth as he felt you tightening around his girth, the combination of mere bandaged fingers rubbing against him and your already tight core, making him gather his whole strength in not to finish just yet.
Moans began to erupt out of your mouth yet again as he began to use his tail to move you up and down like a cocksleeve while the man had begun to gather your cum with his dick on your pussy, continiously rubbing your while three fingers had already made it's way inside of you, the squelching sounds only growing louder with each passing second.
"Brace yourself, foolish woman or else you'll be gone in mere seconds." were his only words before you felt the delicious stretch of your pussy, making way for him to finally fulfill the purpose of his visit.
"Fuck, atleast your hole seems to be of divine quality. Just like a true vixen. Perhaps I might stay for a couple of days longer, hm?"
You felt his chest rumble against your back at the man's words yet their conversation never really made it's way to your mind as the man kept slowly pushing your insides out until he was finally fully in.
"'s-s too full." were your only slurred words before broken moans got caught in your throat, their weirdly synchronized movements nearly making you topple over if your lover's tail and the man' s grip on your waist wouldn't have been there to stabilize you.
"You can take us, my love. Just enjoy yourself. I'll make you a mama just like I promised."
You felt the other man's thrust suddenly pick up his pace.
"Then I'll be happy to engrave myself into her so you will never forget who had granted you your child."
He wrapped his bandaged hand around his tail, pulling it out of your mouth before pulling you into a rough kiss, your moans only fuelling both men's desire to fill you up to the brink.
You felt your core snap yet none of them ceased their movements, the tightening of your pretty pussy merely feeding into their needs.
Not even multiple creampies, lots of positions and the prolonged smell of sex could stop them.
Only the sight of large amounts of cum leaking out of every hole, would only make them continue on for days, the only break granted to you for sleeping and eating and yet it wouldn't be long until someone was inside of you again.
"Such a greedy little pussy only deserves to be knocked up. Wouldn't you agree?"
Eyes glistening like a forest darkened at his words, lust and want clouding his mind as he licked his lips at the sight of your marked, slicked with sweat and cum body.
"Yes. It truly does. Right, my love?"

Year of the Rabbit
by SingingInTheRaiin
T, WIP, 32k, Wangxian
Summary: After Wei Ying was kicked out of the Jiang household, he figured he could rough it on his own with a tent in the woods. He didn't realize that he was setting up so close to where the most popular boy in school, Lan Wangji, lived. Lan Wangji has always been something of a mystery, never saying much about himself. The last thing Wei Ying expects is to be invited to move in to the Lan house- but even more surprising is that it turns out that whenever a cursed Lan is hugged, they turn into a zodiac animal! Kay's comments: A modern Fruits Baskets AU! No prior knowledge of Fruits Baskets is required, I promise, because I had no idea what Fruits Basket was either when I started reading this fic. It's very cute. Basically, the members of the Lan family will get transformed into animals every time they are hugged and now, Wei Wuxian is thrown into the mix, because he gets to stay with them after being kicked out. It's cute, but there's also mystery and family intrique happening and it really left an impression on me. Excerpt: By the time he’d dragged himself back to his campsite, he kinda wanted to cry as he saw that even with most of the mud having been dug away, the tent itself was definitely too broken to provide any real shelter, and he’d left his stuff at the Lan house. He was just contemplating saying ‘fuck it’ and either curling up on the ground or walking all the way towards the nearest motel, which would take forever, when he heard a deep voice call out, “Wei Ying.” He turned and did his best to smile brightly even though it felt like everything was falling apart around him. “Lan Wangji! Did you come to bring me my stuff? I didn’t get the chance to thank you earlier for getting it all, so thank you.” “You cannot stay here.” Wei Ying’s stomach dropped. “Oh, right. I get it. It’s fine, I’ll figure something else out.” Lan Wangji frowned. “It’s not safe. We have a spare room, so you may as well stay there.”
pov wei wuxian, modern setting, modern with magic, fruits basket fusion, cursed lan wangji, rabbit lan wangji, homelessness, emotional hurt/comfort, hurt/comfort, bad parents jiang fengmian & yu ziyuan, good sibling lan xichen, good friend wen qing, good friend wen ning, dysfunctional jiang family, families of choice, bad parenting, lan family feels

Could I request Stolas, blitzø, and Loona (separately) with a reader who was a witch when they were alive and still is in hell.
Having SO who was a witch and still is in Hell
Tumblr media
Stolas
Oh okay then!
He's surprised but quite happy at this revelation.
He's also a mage, and while every demon can do magic to an extent, the actual techniques to learn most arts are coveted by certain circles. The only exception are overlords granted powers upon reincarnation. Either way Stolas barely ever sees let alone interacts with other magic users.
So upon discovering the fact you knew and practiced magic before death. He's immediately intriqued, asking all about it. Whether or not your powers were granted or there from birth, How they work, What you like to do with them and of course he loves seeing you use your powers.
After his curiosity has been sated a little, he... well we all know he loves to ramble on about his interests. And while with a bit of time it's easy to grasp the basics of botany, Magic is a lot more complicated, Blitz just kind of tunes it out even though he tries, and Octavia is just starting her magic training.
So he starts rambling on about it all to you, unintentionally of course but he subconciously just feels more comfortable about it with you. You notice it but don't mind, having had no one to discuss magic with either for a long time you welcome it, and start asking him about it actively and making sure to listen, which makes him happier then you could imagine.
One thing he really likes to do with you after discovering it, is mix his magic with yours. It's a very intimate, and powerful technique if used agressivley, generally only done with romantic partners and other learned loved ones. He had never done it, considering... you know but when he does it with you, he just melts.
The spell gives a glimpse of the other person's thoughts and feelings, and being able to literally feel all the love you have for him just makes him a blushing mess in your arms.
He loves you so much.
Tumblr media
Blitzo
Oh another Magical Hottie? He's down.
He's familiar with magic of course, i mean his other partner as well as his daughter know magic and he himself has learned a bit from using Stolas's grimoire so he's far from weirded out, surprised of course, but cool with it.
But unlike Stolas, he knows nothing about the complexities, so his questions are a lot more wild guesses? He honestly thought you might have been a sinner who got magic due to ruthlessness like The Vs or Al to which he ain't upset at the idea. He would be impressed if that was true.
Also he of course asks what you can do in bed with it, and no he doesn't mean a card trick.
Depending on how you were treated in life, he'll have some buisness to take care of.
Honestly just watches you in awe if he ever sees you kill with it, probably would run up to you and kiss you after it's over, whispering sweet nothings into your ear and calling you a beautiful badass
He runs on like one braincell most of the time so he might ask for a bit of help with stuff, like if he misplaces one of his horse figures or something, you honestly saying you should just teach him these spells but you never do, he just likes seeing you do it.
He is always impresed by every bit of magic you use, mnot matter how much he sees it.
Had to apoligize profusely when you glared at him for buying a pointy hat, assuming you'd like it, though you both laughed it off
Overall he doesn't care too much, he think it's cool and might make fun but cares more on how you treat him and his loved ones, and if that comes with some magic he's good with that.
Tumblr media
Loona
Oh she is interested, in every part.
Her favorite top has a pentagram on it, this girl loves magic. And while officially she's just a receptionist, she's generally the one who handles the grimoire plus she knows how to disguise herself so she's a bit of a mage herself.
While she is very curious about how being a witch is, she's someone who understands how it is to be treated diffrently when you don't want to so she'll generally let you talk when you feel like it.
Eventually will ask for help with some magic stuff if she feels like it's needed. Like asking for help on memorizing spells, and asking her step dad or sister feels daunting to her.
Will totally get you witchy fashion from Stylish Occult if you like that stuff.
One time asks if familars are a real thing, getting the response that she is kinda your familar, a deep and intended to be life long bond a witch has with someone special and she just becomes a blushing mess from that.
She likes it a lot, and is very happy to learn about that side of you, but overall loves you as before
(Sorry for the few here, I've never done Loona before.)
Okay there you go! Sorry this took so long, my birthday happened and I got distracted by a lot of stuff, but I finally finished it! And I'll get to more soon enough!

Some thoughts on the origins of Jin Guangyao's sword, Hensheng, in the Untamed
Saw this excellent set of gifs from ep23 by @zelkam and went "Wait! Wait wait wait. That's a soft sword!"
So I went to check ep23 and indeed, Meng Yao kills Wen Ruohan with a soft sword:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then I recalled (been a while too long since I last rewatched these episodes 😅) that this is actually confirmed by Wei Wuxian and Jin Guangyao's discussion during the victory banquet (in ep23):
JGY: You seemed to want to say something to me as we were greeting rach other.
WWX: It's nothing. Just that the weapon you used to kill Wen Ruohan on that day of the Sunshot Campaign seemed to be a flexible blade. Why doesn't Young Master Jin carry it today?
JGY: Young Master Wei, sorry to have made (it) a show. It was just a random blade I picked up. Later, as I found out it had dark energy, I threw it away.
(As a side note, how observant Wei Wuxian is! He was exhausted from using the Tiger Seal, choked by Wen Ruohan, about to lose consciousness, and yet he noticed that!)
Yeah, right. We all believe you, Jin Guangyao 🙄. Soft swords (rare as they are) just tend to lie around. And that soft sword looks very - very - similar to Hensheng:
Tumblr media
In ep23, the blade has fittings that are clearly Wen, with dark-tarnished metal parts and a dark-red handle:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And as we see in ep41, for example, Hensheng has white, gold and green fittings that are very clearly Jin, as befitting Jin Guangyao's status.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But fittings can easily be changed, and the overall similarity is so great that it is quite clear (or at least I am convinced) that it is the same blade (and as already mentioned, soft swords are not that common). I am also quite convinced that it was not "just a random blade" he picked up.
If that is so, when did Meng Yao acquire the sword? Did he acquire it at some point after his banishment from Unclean Realm? Or did he acquire it during his time in Nightless City, a hidden sword for a last line of defence in an enemy stronghold? Or, was it a gift from Wen Ruohan?
As I mentioned, soft swords are not that common and high-class spiritual swords do not come cheap, so it is unlikely that Meng Yao would have been able to acquire one after his banisment, when his means must have been quite limited. It is more feasible that he could have acquired one sometime during his stay in the Nightless City, but I think I am most intriqued by the last possibility. Meng Yao seemed to have gained a high status and a position as some kind of advisor or right-hand man to Wen Ruohan, so it is feasible that he gifted the sword to his servant. This would be supported, firstly, by the custom made Wen fittings (no standard fittings for that type of blade!) and, secondly, by Jin Guangyao's mention that the sword had "dark energy" (translated sometimes as the sword being sinister) and by his eagerness to downplay the whole thing as "just a random sword I threw away" (can you just imagine Nie Mingjue's reaction to that piece of information in the aftermath of the Sunshot Campaign...).
Tumblr media
Also, I have always found Hensheng (恨生, Hènshēng), to hate/regret life, to be a bit peculiar name for a cultivator's blade (even for Jin Guangyao's blade), but if the origin of the blade would indeed lie here, it would add an entire new dimension to why Jin Guangyao chose to name it so. Or was the blade named for him?
So in the end, if what I am speculating here is right, Wen Ruohan had his own weapons turned against him, in more ways than one.
And as an end note, there is no mention about the origin of the blade in the MDZS wiki, so it is not mentioned in the novel? Anyone remember if there is anything implied? Also, Hensheng definitely is a soft sword in The Untamed, contrary to what is written in the wiki.

Could you talk a bit about Matthew and Alfred relationship? Our boys need love too
The lads! The fellas! The absolute units!
Bear with me here I wanna give a little bit of a context and a personal explanation as to why I'm really fascinated with these two countries in general.
If there is one nationfolk relationship that comes as close to pure and friendly as it possibly can, it would be the Us-Can one. Of course, it has major problems and unavoidable disputes. But let me tell you, as a balkan, ex-yugoslav cretin, I cannot help but be intriqued with the way these two comunicate. They make fun of eachother sure, they have disputes and squables, sometimes outright clashes, but when there is crisis in the US for example, all I hear is Americans straight up saying "ok well time to move to Canada". It's fascinating to me! As a Croat who, after returning from Serbia from a 3 day trip, brought home souveniers (key chains mostly, with the Serbian flag) I was yelled at by my dad who afterwards didn't talk to me for a few days. All because I dared to bring this enemy countrys flag into our home. Now, I was born in 1999. I have no connection to the war 8 years prior. No excusable, personal vandetta. But still it' s very much acceptable to hate so strongly. And even if it wasn't 8 years that passed, but 80, there still would be a widely accepted resentment. But alas, I am not talking about people, cus frankly people are just people. Alliances and relations between countries are another thing. Imagine sharing a huge fucken border with another country and being friends. My euro brain is imploding. Uncomprehensible.
Now I do understand the US is often described as a bit of a phycho, and frankly Canada is an expert at dealing with the phycho. Kudos. Keep the yanks from whipping out their home protection assault rifles and unleashing hell fire is risky shit. Canada manages tho. What I'm really interested in is the USA's view of Canada. They aren't a threat. They aren't suspicious. They are a force to be reckoned with tho, but they are friends. If there is one ally the USA can rely on its the maple sucking french/anglo bastards up north. So much history in such a short time. Fascinating.
To relate this to the bros, I think these two understand eachother better than most. Matt is quiet, obsetvand and passive (mostly), while his unit of a brother is loud, idealistic and prone to thinking the world owes him time on the world stage. And it works. Matt is the one to talk to his brother in a way that gets Alfred to listen. H speaks Alfreds language and can communicate with him freely. I think that that is a skill and in the modern era, a privilage that not many have. Not many dare to tell Alfred to his face that he fucked up majorly, but Matt can. He knows he can. Alfred knows he can. So he does. Matt can pull his brother aside after an outburst, and for the lack of a better word, humble him.
Alfred respects his brothers oppinion more then other nations'. He went from seeing Matt as a weak, self-pitying and ambitionless dominion, to accepting his views, ideas and even asking his oppinion on certain matters. I like to draw a parallel here. Matt had to sacrifice everything and himself to have Arthur call him into the war room and ask Matthew for his oppinion. Alfred is not much different. It takes time for Matthews voice to be heard, but when the time comes, it's desperately needed.
Alfred tho, is and always will be Alfred. And if somthing else catches his attention, he will ignore the house on fire across the street. He is prone to isolation and ignoring his brother for extended periods of time, just sending him a tiktok every month or so. That being the only indication to Matt that his brother is alive. Alfred has so much shit going on and his 13 braincells have to spread evenly across to cover it all. His brother is a constant in his life, stable and therefore forgotten.
That being said, I don't think there is another person on Earth Alfred loves more than his brother. Showing it is not something he ever learned tho. He knows he cannot buy his way into showing his love for Matt, so with his lack skills of other forms of love expressions, he does nothing.
As for Matt, he checks up on Alfred as much as he can. His history and past have tought him to expect nothing form the people he loves. So he doesn't. He knows Alfred is his closest ally and best friend, but doesn't ask for anything Alfred himself isn't giving. He is a person who waits to be asked to hang out on Saturday instead of asking his friends himself.
So while almost all I talked about is sad and somewhat negative, I do think the bond and conversations these two share are one of the most honest and true expressions of brotherly love. And by god I usually don't use the world love when describing nation-folk relationships, but in this case there isn't a replacement.
sorry for the personal shit and Alfred slander, I love him.

do you have any suggestions for games which focus around politics and intrigue? I'm only really familiar with Court of Blades
THEME: Intrigue
Hello friend, so I’ve already got one post about Court Intrigue, as well as one about Political and Social Drama, so I definitely recommend checking those out! Here’s a few more for your consideration.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Human Ambassadors, by FUNONE Games.
Every player gets to play as an expert who has been selected to facilitate first contact with newly arrived aliens.  You can count on some miscommunications.
They have requested that your group put on six events to educate them about the people of earth.  You might puzzle over their feedback.  In the end your group will have a big decision to make that will affect the future of humanity.
This is partially a diplomacy game, and partially just a really goofy time. You can only kind of understand what your new alien friends treasure and value, and you have to use that information to plan a number of events. At the end of each event, you roll to randomly determine the alien’s reaction, so this is definitely a game where you are trying to please an entity that has much more knowledge and power than you do.
Princely, by Michelle Jones.
The lord of the realm has announced that it is time for his eldest daughter to be married. He is holding a ball at his estate to determine the most eligible suitor to become her husband. Princes, knights, and noble sons from across the world will be in attendance, and you will be among them. However, you have a secret. You are not a man. And if the lord discovers the truth, you will be forced to leave the ball before you ever have a chance to confess your love.
Princely is a one-page RPG about courtly intrique, secret identities and queer love for any manageable number of players and one facilitator.
I don’t have a lot of information about this game, but my best guess is that it’s about navigating a royal ball and trying to pass off as a man in order to get close enough to the princess. Plenty of intrigue for sure!
Ruler’s Throne, by Gigglin’ Gryphon Games.
A Great Ruler has passed. An entire land is in mourning. And one of you is next in line for the title. If you can survive the night.
An ancient tradition calls for the greatest leaders in the lands to come together for one night of drunken celebration. Fierce generals. Heads of nations. Venerated royalty. You, the best, brightest, and richest in the lands will come, bringing the finest offerings for whomever shall next inherit the throne–and the finest deception to make certain it is you.
Using deceit, backstabbing, rumor, and a bevy of potent poisons, you must make it to the end of the night. Alive. Choose your friends carefully. And your enemies even more carefully. For only one shall claim…The Ruler’s Throne.
This is a game about poisoning your opponents, and your opponents are the other players around the table. Players use cards to contribute to a Chalice, using these cards as either actions, medicine, or poison. If you drink the Chalice and it’s full of poison, you die - but don’t worry, there’s plenty of mischief for ghosts to get up to, and you could possibly even come back to life! The last person living is the winner.
Interregnum, by vortiwife.
Interregnum is a playing card-based tabletop game of ambition and ruin set against a backdrop of backstabbing and corporate intrigue.
As the Inheritors to a vast Empire, the players must navigate a world of cutthroat politics, forge temporary alliances with their power-hungry rivals, and attempt to destroy those same rivals before they get the idea first.
Sell your soul in a doomed bid for power. Shake hands with your rivals while plotting their demise.
Interregnum involves a deck of playing cards, used as blackjack hands to determine which of your characters takes the least amount of ruin during a round of political maneuvering. An inheritor who collects too much ruin must either leave the table or make a deal with the devil, aligning with whatever Threat is facing the group as a whole in order to save their own skin.
This is a game of corruption, backstabbing, and ultimately downfall. If you want a game about scheming and karma coming to give you what you deserve in the end, this might be the game for you.
Gilded City Treaties, by Thomas.
A two-to-three player roleplaying game where you are diplomats trying to negotiate in your favour with the representative of Jasper Oro, the man who controls the Gilded City.
Jasper Oro is a powerful, powerful man, and you need his favor in order to write a treaty that benefits you and your people. If you play with two players, you can either play as Jasper and one diplomat, or both can play as diplomats, while Jasper’s responses are determined through dice rolls. If yo play as three players, one person is Jasper, and the other two are the entreating diplomats.
There’s not a lot of rules here - I’m expecting this game to be a light framework for extensive roleplay, and over in a single session.
Secrets and Sabotage, by SassWrites.
Want a murder mystery evening? Or a bitchy prom night with mean girls? How about a diplomatic affair with spies and assassins, or a fey court full of intrigue?
Play all these games and more with this system of secrets and clues.
This is a game or game module, so you could play it solo, or you could use it to replicate a battle of wit and reputation in another game of your choice. This game is also setting-agnostic, so you could have it take place in a high school, a space barony, or a noble castle. Over the course of the game, your characters will let slip their secrets, but attempt to reveal all of their rival’s secrets before their own dirty laundry comes to light. The goal is to culminate in a final round where all of the characters are making loud accusations, pointing fingers, and causing general chaos. I’d love to see what kind of fallout might ensue in the session following this game!

I will always be intriqued by haunted ofa
This is another fic fight story. It was also one of the oneshots that was like Candid but I couldn't quite get the mood down, so I'm editing it so it's just Izuku hanging out with the holders in his dreams. Very heavily inspired by seeping through
“So it’s settled?” Yoichi says.  “No. I have no reason to teach him,” Second grumbles. He finally places a yellow +2 down.  “We’re the only two who know how to,” Third says. “And I’m busy being paper-weighted by Yoichi, which means you have to be the one to do it.”  “No,” Second says. He places another +2 down.  “Second—” “I won’t.”  “Please—”  “I’m ignoring you.”  “I’ll give you a smooch?” Third suggested. Chin over Yoichi’s shoulder, he makes kissy sounds at Second’s disturbed expression.  “Absolutely not,” Second spits.  Third’s lips barely twitch into a smile. “Second…”  “What?”  “That wasn’t an offer. That was a threat.” ———— “And this is the scope,” Second continues.  Izuku nods as Second tilts the sniper rifle towards him, flicking on the safety as he does.  “You look into it, you aim, you shoot. You’ve got a decent eye for precision, so I have faith you could hit a body if it was close enough to you.” Second pushes the rifle into Izuku’s hands. Second squints at him after a moment. “Maybe.”

I mentioned this briefly over on MDL yesterday, but since I'm back from my theatre trip I figured I'd say a little something about the Shōgun finale here too.
I've seen quite the divide in how people felt about the ending; some hated it whilst others, myself included, loved it.
I think one of the things that some people feel disappointed by is the fact we never got to see the battle of Sekigahara that the show was building up to. Yet the truth is that Shōgun was never going to show it, because in terms of the story the viewer didn't need to see the battle to know the outcome.
The story was always about Toranaga and the journey he takes towards becoming Shōgun. He is a master strategist, and has been playing the game of war from the very start, just silently and through methods of politics rather than by the sword. He uses every person to his advantage, moving them like pieces on a board for his endgame, even those who he is closest to. Sure, there are moments he likely doesn't account for - the death of his son and the appearance of Blackthorne, for instance - but like any strategist of his level he either adapts them into his plans, or finds a way to use the moment in his advantage. That's what strategists do.
We don't need to see the battle of Sekigahara, because by the end of the show Toranaga has already won. This is what he tries to tell Yabushige before his death. Toranaga's explanation here reminds me to the moment he's talking to his son, with this quote:
'Why is it that only those who have never fought in battle are so eager to be in one?'
War is inevitable, but Tornaga is trying to minimize the number of those who have to die because of it. After all, his goal is for a peaceful era for Japan.
Mariko's death was the final act of Crimson Sky. Her death shakes the foundations enough to cause action to happen, because her death should not have been allowed to happen. Ishido knows this, which is why he sends his ronin to capture, not kill. Mariko's death, while tragic, is the final nail that sparks change. Ochiba, mourning the death of her childhood friend, decides to tell Toranaga in secret not to send the Heir's army to aid Ishido in battle, meaning that without his banner Ishido's war is no longer a lawful one.
While Mariko's death is a tragic one, it is not a meaningless one. It does not feel cheap, and the finale episode allows the viewers to mourn with those who knew and loved or respected her. I thought this was quite beautifully done, as even though she wasn't present in the episode, her spirit was still there, so she was still very much there. Some of the cinematography beautifully alluded to this, especially in moments like when Blackthorne and Fuji are sitting together in silence, yet there's one seat left -- Mariko's. Blackthorne even says then, 'no translator', because once Mariko had been a bridge of communication and understanding between them.
Another thing which I see a lot of confusion upon is Blackthrone's flash-forward scenes -- did he ever return to England? The answer, in my opinion, is told in the finale episode too. No, he didn't. Toranaga tells Yabushige that Blackthorne will never leave Japan, and in the scenes with an older Blackthorne, we see he's holding Mariko's cross. Yet he drops it into the water, showing that he lets it go. The episode title is 'a dream of a dream', and that's what Blackthorne's flash-forwards are: dreams. Another life, another path - but not this one.
The characters of Shōgun are based on real-life people in history -- it's actually really fascinating, and I've been learning more and more about their real-life counterparts whilst following this gem of a show. If you're interested in learning more, look up names like Tokugawa Ieyasu, Miura Anjin (William Adams) and Hosokawa Gracia (Akechi Tama).
All in all, Shōgun to me leaned more into the political intrique side of war, which for some people will be fascinating, and for others, not so much. But this show has so many layers and so much hidden within it, I can see it being one that's analysed for years to come.

Some parental love with Kakashi and his dad in a au of your choosing
*cracks knuckles*
The day Kakashi finally gets to meet his father is actually Valentines day. Sakumo asks what the date is while him and Kakashi are talking and when his son tells him he laughs
Kakashi gets angry, but then Sakumo apologizes and explains that he just recalled his last valentines day with Kakashi’s mother (Yua) and how much of a mess it was
Intriqued, Kakashi asks his dad to tell him about it.
So the two of them sit there while Sakumo regales his son with the story of the epic fail of a valentines when he burnt dinner, slammed face first into a wall, and spilled hot tea on his beautiful wife.
How Yua stayed married to him he still doesn’t know, but Kakashi loves every bit of the story for the simply fact it’s the first time he ever gets to hear any story about his parents.
Pokemon au
For Valentines day every year since Kakashi was two Sakumo would take him out for a walk and catch whatever Pokemon Kakashi wanted him to.
He always told Kakashi that these Pokemon could be his one day, but Kakashi only ever claimed one.
A shiney shinx that they stumbled upon when he was six years old. He was so excited to catch it that he pleaded with his dad to let him throw the pokeball. Sakumo was a little cautious as he knew the shinx could run if Kakashi missed, but he couldn’t say no when his son looked up at him with such big puppy dog eyes.
Kakashi successfully caught shinx that day, and for the rest of the day him and Sakumo spent playing with Shinx and Arcanine. Sakumo actually considers Shinx Kakashi’s first Pokemon (Jolteon is a lil jelouse of this) but Kakashi didn’t actually claim shinx until the day he beat his old man in an all out Pokemon battle when he was 15 (Sakumo wasn’t actually going all out, but he was actually trying and Kakashi was doing really well. Kakashi beat him in an actual all out battle when he was 20)

....I'm intriqued about Lovers Arcana Naoto
I'm so glad you asked
Okay so. Lovers Naoto is. An idol. BUT WAIT HEAR ME OUT LEMME EXPLAIN
So. Naoto was scouted for an idol group named Royale at age 12. There's 5 members, and they trained for years to debut at age 14. So. With Naoto being in first year, by the events of Persona 4, Royale has been about for a year or so and are quite possible
Naoto's stage name? Prince. The sole boy in a group of girls.
He's, supposed to be the sorta pretty boy that attracts young girls to be fans but doesn't intimidate male fans who are interested in the girls. But, there's. A bit of an issue. See, Naoto is. Trans. He's a trans guy, and if that was found out, his career would be over for sure
Like, the others in Royale are on his side, they're like a little family at that point. But, the agency outlined in his contract exactly how his transition goes. It's like, they own him. And he signed it, young and naive
All's pretty okay until they find a camera in one of the girls' dressing rooms. That's when the panic attacks start. Naoto collapses during a dance practice from the stress, and he's forced into a little vacation. The whole group goes on hiatus for a little bit, and he goes to stay with his grandfather
Of course, it's not a restful break. Some of his new classmates are. Odd. And then he's pushed into a TV, where his shadow self reveals his inner demons. How he never, has felt like himself. He looks in the mirror and hates what he sees, the fear that. At the end of the day, his agency might turn around and cut off his T doses, limited as they were before.
His shadow dances around in a little skirt and mocks him, and poor Naoto just. Breaks and shouts on the ground. The others come to help him out of course,, but in the end, he has to accept his own shadow. His own inner hatred of what the industry he claimed to love has. Done to him
He's their Navi in this too! Cause Rise is a team member on the battlefield and all
(when he returns to Tokyo after everything, he asks his fellow Royale members to. Stand by him as he asks for a change in contract. They agree, and all 5 get new, fair contracts that do bind them to the stage until they're 20, but. Naoto gets to take control of his health, and there's benefits for the others as well)
Bonus! During the investigation stage of his arc, his fellow idols are in Inaba! They rushed to town when it was revealed he was missing, and try to assist the team without breaking their NDA about Naoto's identity
One member comes real close, who's codename is Knight. She, has known Naoto the longest. She wants her friend back safe,
But yeah! Idol Naoto. I'm. Yeah.
(psst. It's a NaoRise au.)

Many people have pointed out (in relation to Crocodad) how in Japanese the etymology of the word "wani" (crocodile) is a bit complicated to say the least and in mythology could mean a variety of things, including a shark, sea monster or a dragon
Which, of course, is quite an interesting coincidence. Crocodile does often get referred to as "wani" not just by Luffy but some other characters, and so it would be just a little funny if both of Luffy's dads were sorta kinda called dragons
There's also people pointing out how Zoro's mother was called "Tera", similar to terra (earth) and Sanji's mother was named Sora (sky). So if Luffy's birthing parent was named after a water-dwelling creature, well, it'd be cute and round out the monster trio's birthing parents in a funny way, since we'd have earth, sky and the sea
But what really is fucking me up about the whole wani-thing is the Myth of Toyotama-hime
Tumblr media
So the TL:DR; of the myth is
The pregnant princess Toyotama came from the Ryuuguu Castle deep in the oceans onto land to give birth to her child, telling her husband that when she would give birth, she would revert back into her true form, requesting him to not look at her while she gave birth. But her husband could not keep that promise, so he peeked in on his wife, only to witness a giant wani giving birth. The sight of this horrified the husband so much he fled, while Toyotama princess was so hurt by what had happened that she returned to the sea, abandoning her child.
Indeed, this myth bringing up wani pregnancy is just. An interesting coincidence for Crocodad speculation
Of course, we know Oda borrows from mythology (fucking, Fishman Island's castle is literally the Ryuuguu Castle), so if Crocodad Real, it's genuinely plausible Oda could('ve) take(n) inspiration from that very myth
Thing about it is that though...
Like, if we're assuming Crocodile never fully realized he was trans until he got pregnant, then him transitioning either immidiately or as soon as he could after giving birth would make sense. Dude seeks out Iva-chan and gets the t-juice*, so on and so forth, but my question is like, would that have been before or after delivering the baby to Dragon (so he could then pass it onto Garp)
*(Or hell, maybe Iva-chan was there helping deliver the baby, helping Crocodile crack his own egg etc, maybe the secret Iva-chan is holding over Crocoboy's head isn't that they knew Crocodile is trans and could out them, but knowing Crocodile gave birth to god know whose child)
Because like
How did Dragon find out about his partner transitioning?
Did pre-T Crocodile tell him he was transitioning while handing over the baby? Or did he just leave without an explanation and allowed Dragon to just Take In The Change after it had happened whenever they saw each other again (if they ever did, for all we know he could've just walked away without talking to Dragon again and Dragon just found out either from Iva-chan directly or from seeing him on the news)
Or did Crocodile transition first and then deliver the baby to Dragon without any warning, again, just giving Dragon one hell pf a surprise
In any scenario, how did that even go down?
And we have to ask the sad question of... is Dragon a Bisexual King or not? And would Crocodile have been... afraid of Dragon's reaction? (This would've been a younger Crocodile mind you, who would literally have been just coming out of his shell, and that shit's scary man)
Because if Toyotama Princess is any indicator, this wani's relationship did not end well after her truth was revealed
Like, let's say Crocodile transitioned first and then showed up without warning as a man to Dragon to hand over the baby. Thing is, while we know VERY LITTLE about Dragon still, I can't imagine him being like violently transphobic or even lashing out at his partner when he'd come out. But I could imagine him being so shocked he'd be left utterly speechless.
And I'm not entirely sure which would be worse; Dragon outright but "kindly" telling Crocodile he's not into men and breaking the poor bastard's heart, or Bi!Dragon being too shocked to say anything, letting Crocodile to just jump to conclusions based on his reaction (and maybe then causing Dragon to jump into further conclusions (that Crocodile must actually be into women)), unintentionally causing a divorce out of sheer misunderstanding and literal lack of communication
And the sad part is, considdering Dragon is a very secretive man, who according to the Crocodad Theory can't even have told his partner his full name mind you... The miscommunication seems very plausible to me?? Does it not?
Or, maybe Crocodile delivered the baby to Dragon pre-T and told him he's going to Iva-chan without further explanation, jumping into conclusions, afraid to hear what Dragon would say. So he just leaves without explaining before Dragon gets to say a word. And Dragon just accepts it. Assuming he's the one getting dumped.
Either way, whatever might've happened can't have been good, can it
Also, considdering Garp is a fucking idiot (affectionate), and Luffy clearly inherited The Stupid from his grandfather, I would not be surprised if Dragon was also actually a bit of a himbo underneath that serious face he puts on (either that or Crocodile kept on smoking while pregnant)
Which could also turn what would otherwise be a tragic miscommunication into an absolute comedy if Crocodile and Dragon ever met again and the two realized that they're both idiots who jumped into conclusions and ruined their marriage by refusing to talk about their fucking feelings to each other. This is an absolute trainwreck of a family
But considdering the things Crocodile has done by this point*, would it ever even be possible for the two to reconcile?? Because, althought Dragon is pro-overthrowing corrupt governments especially if they're affiliated with the World Government, from what I can tell, he's still against unnececary violence (Vegapunk even comments that Dragon "hates war" in a flashback) and needless loss of life. And Crocodile caused just that.
*And I don't even mean the failed attempt at taking over Alabasta, I mean the drought Crocodile caused that caused countless people to starve to death and then caused the civil war which had already taken lives and permanently disabled people BEFORE the Strawhats ever even get to Alabasta. Like Crocodile's bomb may have been a dud but he still caused people to die for no reason, and I can't imagine Dragon being fine with that. But then again, Robin and other Baroque Works members also contributed to the loss of life and their sins have been neatly swept under the rug so IDK
And like. We don't know if Crocodile moonlighted as a Revolutionary for like 10+ years after Luffy was born and slowly went out of contact or if he just left immidiately. But theoretically, the two might not have even seen each other in like almost 20 years
That'd be a long time to carry a broken heart
How the fuck would you even heal from that
Also like
Crocodile did seem a little suicidal at Impel Down if I'm being honest
Like.
He had a dream of becoming Pirate King. But he lost to Whitebeard, and his dreams were ruined.
Dude had a master plan to take over a country that took him almost a decade to pull off, only for it to get wrecked in the final hour by a literal child.
His useless underlings then come and try to break him out of prison
And he chooses to stay
When we finally see his face for the first time in Impel Down... His mouth might be forming a smile, but those eyes aren't
And he even says it himself
Tumblr media
"I didn't think there'd be anything for me to do if I were free"
Is it not like he has given up on life entirely..?
And sure, he does ask to be let out so he can get revenge on Whitebeard, but was it out of a genuine belief he could actually take down the old man or just a slightly more fun way to die than rotting away in prison for the next few decades?
You know the saying, "to be loved is to be changed"
Frankly, the same goes for the reverse. Being unloved, or believing yourself to be unloveable will change you. For the worse

Yo! I loved your crush hcs with elphelt could I request the same but with Anji instead?
Warning: This hasn't been proofread. Grammar is probably bit wonky.
Tumblr media
-Anji would be sneaky about his crush. He would realize how his feelings had changed. He wanted to know, if you felt the same way. So, this led to him poking around, if you had someone in your life. (He wasn't subtle about it, even if he tried.)
-Even though, he was patient he still wanted to do something about the feeling. So, this led to him leaving gifts for you. Not, because he wasn't brave enough to face you and tell about his feelings. But, because he wanted to let you know someone had feelings for you.
-This made you so confused. Who kept on leaving flowers and other gifts on your table. Not, only that but you could find them in your bedroom as well. It was bit weird to find gifts such as roses and love poems on your bed.
-After a while Anji, would start to make it into a game. Leaving little clues for you to try and figure it out. Who was your mysterious admirer who had left the gifts? Who had made you feel warm and loved, despite never meeting them. Or, so you thought.
-Anji noticed how much time and effort, you were putting into each clue trying to figure it out. He would let out a small chuckle, before being off to reveal his feelings.
-After a while, you did figure out what each clue meant. But, you were confused by it. It was your own adress. Before, you could question it further, you heard your door opening. Only one person, besides you knew where you kept the spare key.
-You rushed into the hallway to see Anji standing there with a smirk on his. He was holding a cake, in his hands offering it to you.
"Well, surprise." He said, not sure how to open this situation. You don't say anything, as you gently take the cake from him.
-When you opened the cake, it said "I like you. I'm the one." You looked up at Anji, as you pieced it together. All of sudden it made perfect sense, how the gifts had always appeared when you weren't home and how he had gotten in without breaking anything. He knew where you kept spare key.
-You approached him, holding the cake still in your hands. You kissed his cheek with a smile.
"You could've just told me." Anji smiled back at you, with a smile.
"I could've. But, this was far more intriquing way." He replies, as you two head to the kitchen to enjoy the cake and to start your relationship.

M, 7k, Wei Wuxian/Hua Cheng
Summary: Wei Wuxian accidentally summons Hua Cheng in the middle of the Sunshot Campaign. What would happen if Hua Cheng stood for him? He halted on his steps and exasperatedly sighed; just when he was about to go back, he heard a deep voice. "Is this new? The song you played?" Wei Wuxian immediately turned towards where the voice came and inspected its owner. There stood a tall man, even taller than Wei Wuxian and mind you Wei Wuxian was pretty tall already!. He wore red embroidered robes and a delicate black sash. His hair was neatly braided and placed on his one shoulder. Kay's comments: This story is a bit of a guilty-pleasure and holds a special place in my heart. You know me, I'm usually 100 % Wangxian only, but this pairing of Wei Wuxian/Hua Cheng really intriqued me and it's so well-written. I really think that if there would have been another man in Wei Wuxian's life, it must have happened during the Sunshot Campaign like in this story, when Wei Wuxian was the most isolated and in need of a true friend who trusted him. Definitely give it a chance, even if the pairing might not be something you would usually read! Also, check out this beautiful fanart! Excerpt: Hua Cheng, “If you need anyone to trust you, then I’ll trust and tell you; you’re not gonna lose control. Even if you lose control it won’t be because of you.” Wei Wuxian’s lips had parted, he gasped. His heart beat a bit too fast like the times he used to tease Lan Zhan. He swallowed and shut his eyes again. “You don’t even know me.” The other man slowly answered, “I know you enough.” Hua Cheng didn’t need to give Wei Wuxian any spiritual energy that night. Hua Cheng was stuck together with him because he couldn’t return to his own world, Wei Wuxian knew that. Yet to think that Hua Cheng stayed with him despite being able to leave the war, use a jewelry to live his days off till he left; Wei Wuxian felt a certain warmness he didn’t dare feel since Burial Mounds – maybe even ever since his childhood. All because a man choose to stay with him.

What if Rodin decided to have his bar, The Gates of Hell, open and available to the demons of the Seven Rings?
What would happen if I.M.P. decided to go there for drinks? And if you want to take it further, suppose they also hear rumors of Rodin making and selling weapons under the table and consider trying to get him to hook them up?
Tumblr media
I suppose that would certainly open up his clientelle, considering his only canon clients seem to be Bayonetta, Enzo, Luka, Jeanne and Viola, and we know for a fact one of them doesn't pay his tab ever so I could see Rodin doing this, maybe at Bayonetta's suggestion after exploring the Rings a bit.
He'd put out rules, no serious fighting for instance, and make sure they pay cause he's NOT having another Enzo situation. As for how they get there, perhaps Rodin just sets up portals that teleport them to the main bar, a lot like how Bayonetta travels to the bar in Bloody Fate.
As for I.M.P stopping by for drinks on occasion, Blitz is a loose and loud drunk, while Moxxie is a lot more modest, but gets flirty with Millie when he's tipsy, same on her end to leading to them making out a good bit, meanwhile Loona is the designated driver making sure they don't get into too much trouble. Blitz bringing Stolas on occasion and other associates also coming sometimes.
But if I.M.P hears about Rodin's weapon buisness, Blitz is super intriqued, Moxxie isn't sure they should get involved but allows Blitz to try upon his insistance, the girls hoping it goes well. Blitz walks up all confident, grinning as he hops up to the stool and leans an arm over the counter "So I heard you do weapons and stuff, hook me and my company up and I'll make sure to put in a good word about your bar to clients. A win win for both of us, what do you say Rodin~?"
Rodin doesn't even take a second before raising a brow and stating "You and your crew can't handle the weapons I make." Matter of factly. Blitz points out they can handle blessed weoponry and have some pretty crazy non magical stuff but Rodin shakes his head still, saying that's child's play further annoying Blitz.
Before the Imp smirks and crawls onto the counter itself, putting a teasing claw under Rodin's chin "I can make this deal even more worth your while~ Dadd-"He begins seductively before Rodin grabs his hand, tight enough to make Blitz stop as pain shoot through his arm "No. My advice, don't push upon a refusual"The bartender says before throwing Blitz across the bar with ease, landing in his daughter's arms before he pouts angrilly, pissed off how he just got written off like nothing.
He probably whines to Stolas later who then talks to Bayonetta, and she gets Rodin to give them a chance, cause if she feels they can handle something of his, then he trusts her enough to try. Not sure what kind of weapons or demons within each member would get but I still like the idea. Either way Blitz remains bitter at Rodin a little bit XP
