Because what the hell was that energy at the end of the episode? #Also the fondness of which they played basketball together. #I am 80% sure they will not kiss nor have romantic inclinations but I enjoy their dynamic immensely #The 20% doubt comes from the very queer coded old lady yuri episode + the inherent homoerotism of doomed timeline stories. #If they do kiss you I'm drawing them making out sloppy style because I *know* one of them is going to die very shortly afterwards.

losing my mind and need everyone to see it so here it is

the theory that buck wasn't telling the full truth about why him and natalia broke up has been itching my brain for days now (since the episode aired lol not that long but anyway)

they're just getting back from a call, all piling into the engine truck and idk what the call was about but it's some silly couple that did something silly ok (everyone is fine, it just helps prompt the conversation) and this causes chim and hen's memory to jog, and so they ask buck like, "oh hey, how are things going with natalia? you haven't talked about her in a while" and eddie just kinda looks over at them, confused because he definitely would've thought that buck would've told them.. so why didn't he?

of course, buck catches his gaze and immediately looks away, back towards hen and chim, "uh w- we broke up, actually" and this prompts them to ask why they broke up, buck gives him a similar story to what he told eddie, although more vague and seems less genuine compared to when he first told him.

hen, being the smart bff who is also concerned, ofc decides to corner buck when they get back to the station and asks him why she broke up with him (bc cmon.. of course she knows he didnt break up with her, it was the other way around. and chim too but he also knows not to push sometimes / is scared to push the Wrong button) and so buck spills, saying something along the lines of, "she thinks i'm in love with someone else" looking off in the direction of where eddie, ravi and chim are downstairs in the weight room, just chillin' idk doin' whatever the fuck firefighters do LOL

hen catches where his eyes have drifted, and asks so softly, to not scare him off, "do you think she might be right?" and in that moment you can hear eddie's laughter floating from downstairs towards where they are in the little kitchen area. buck has a sort of sad, heartbroken smile on his face as he says "yeah, yeah i do"

some tips on food fixation and binging urges

hellooo, ive been thinking about compiling some things that have helped me get my mind off of food and overall just writing down some rant -- so here it is!

keep in mind, im not an expert and this is mostly just me babbling. im writing this as a motivation for myself, and it will probably not work for everyone, but if you find any of this stuff helpful -- my pleasure! ★ mindfulness ★

`` first of all -- ive found that that strong-urge-to-binge thing is more of a state, not a feeling. it helps me to treat it as such: a mental state, a spiral, and to come out of that spiral you can:

◌ stop! ◌ breath in, breath out. ground yourself. have that thought of "wait, what am i doing?" in the space between you and the fridge ◌ check in with your body. what position are you in? does something hurt? are you cold? are you tired? overenergized? ◌ check in with your mind. is there any buzz? are you overwhelmed? ◌ if you located the issue (eg. im tired! i want comfort! so food = comfort!) -- great! move on from there to resolving this issue in a more mindful, not-involving-food way (then i should nap, do yoga, just lie on the floor, watch comfort movie) why are we doing that? in my opinon, its very important to train that "what am i doing" moment of conciousness, because through that you can see better why you want to binge. is it a mental thing? how can you cope without food? is it a physical feeling? an effect of restriction? how can you tweak your eating to make it better (imo, fasting does better job at managing binges than plain restriction) you cant just showe thinspo at your face everytime you crave something, after all : ) ★ activities ★ `` make something with your hands! ohh my god! i cant stress it enough, it can help you to not get fixated on thinking about food so much! it can be something easy like drawing, or you can look up something new for yourself `` go on a walk. i know, it can be very tiring to even think about, but t does wonders at distracting you `` yoga. very simple and very effective. or, alternatively `` do nothing at all for a bit. just. lie down, turn off your phone, no sound, no nothing (helps if your binging urge feels overwhelming) ★ other stuff ★

`` if you havent already, try drinking coffee. it really is called an appetite supressant for a reason `` i wasnt the one who told you that, but you can look up some gross stuff involving food.. f*eeding k*ink usually freaks me out on multiple levels for long enough to forget about food `` test yourself and allow yourself to feel bored. put down your phone. watch a really long flm. boredom is a part of our lives, and if you teach yourself to feel it in such small portions without binging youll be so so proud of yourself

Thinking about how the Skylanders novels take place prior to the events of the games and feature Flynn in several storylines, meaning that he’s known about Kaos for quite some time.

Thinking about how according to chapter 18 of Meditations on Boom, Flynn allegedly had been Kaos’ nemesis prior to the Skylanders’ return.

Thinking about how Kaos often refers to people with childishly disrespectful nicknames (“Poser Master,” “Dragonfly,” “Skyloser”) but one of the few people he somewhat consistently refers to by name, even when speaking to them directly, is Flynn.

Thinking about how “BOOM” is Flynn’s catchphrase, and Kaos uses “DOOM” repeatedly, and how in the Mirror of Mystery adventure pack, Evil Flynn uses “DOOM” instead.

Since I somehow manifested jealous Buck, my next wish would be for a pining Buck. Gimme Buck slowly realizing he’s in love with his best friend, only to be accidentally friend-zoned by him. QUEER-FANSHIPPERS

Calling out to other fans who queer-ship for support! The dark-ish, romcom-ish, historical-ish pirate show Our Flag Means Death is one of the few that has actual queer-couples prominently featured on the show.

The main romantic pairing were regularly shipped in fandom long before it was revealed this was not a queer-baiting tactic, it was actually happening...

And this is just ONE queer/non-heteronormative couple out of many more.

It's a fun show with a wonderful cast and crew who are not only supportive through their work, but many of who reach out to fans through special events and social media.

And now Max/WBD has cancelled that. One of the few cannon-supported examples where shipping queer-based couples weren't just fantasies, and it's been squashed.

I recommend y'all check out the show, but also please help protest the decision to cancel this unique series before it had the chance to complete its full arc:
