Hi! As you may or may not know, this week (21-28 January) is the global strike week for a ceasefire in Gaza. This was called for by Bisan Odwa, a journalist from Gaza (@wizard_bisan1 on Instagram). Here is a link to her post calling for this strike (click).

What are some of the more positive aspects Ben faces after getting revealed in the re-write? Because in ‘Andreas’ Fault’ he was enjoying doing cup signings at Mr.Smoothies

I’d imagine he would have some sort of official social media account he would manage, similar to Ben 23, but less obsessed with it.

One thing that amuses me is the idea of Ben finding memes of himself on the internet, like “Ben Tennyson new transformation, NEVER BEFORE SEEN” and for a moment Ben panics because “Oh no what if someone got footage of Alien X or one of his other more volatile aliens, and when he clicks the link it’s just a rickroll after the transformation flash

Oh ya, Ben definitely has many positive moments with being famous. He enjoys meeting fans, especially young kids who are just so curious, funny, and innocent, unlike many adults who are scared of Ben. I like to imagine Ben has a collection of drawings kids have given him, of poorly drawn versions of his aliens, many misspelled, which he finds adorable. He would also enjoy doing some sponsorships, getting merch, doing charity events, and so on. Even using his fame to sometimes help out a friend, or do things like getting VIP tickets to an event for him, Gwen, Kevin, and any others with them. He most likely has some social media accounts, and shares mostly images of him, his aliens, and some battles he might be getting into. Perhaps even giving some advice to people who are unsure how to approach aliens, or the general concept of there being a galaxy with other life forms in it.

Thank you so much for clarifying both the content and how you’ve censored it; I’m new to the blog and was hesitant to click the links as I was unsure what they’ve contained and I’ve encountered people in the past who tried to prove someone was a predator by linking uncensored CSEM (they said they’d reported it but I have no idea honestly).

I didn’t think it was ‘anti-ship’ stuff or whatever, but I also appreciate your clarification on both how the term is used in Canadian law, and the content on those sites. I was again coming from a place of worry because I’ve seen a LOT of people call stuff like the “teenagers making poorly-drawn cartoon smut of other teens” that anon mentioned “CSEM”/outright state that it was the same. I appreciate this, and I get where you're coming from. I'm not involved in a lot of Tumblr fandom discourse but I have seen the sorts of things that get thrown around. It's made holding Lily accountable a lot harder than I thought due to the watering down of accusations like this.
