The way I’m honestly willing to bet anything and everything on the fact that Oliver and Ryan fucking know Buddie is happening. Tim has called them and told them BOTH that it’s happening. That’s why they heavily did press together before the start of the season. That’s why Ryan’s been let out of PR jail and happily speaking about Buddie whenever he can. That’s why Oliver is doing a million interviews. Yes the story is about Buck and his journey as of right now. I could never ever close on Buddie. These fuckers dead ass introduced Eddie through Buck’s pov, while he’s half naked, and “Whatta Man” is playing in his head. That’s how you fucking introduce a love interest. I’m not believing for one second that there were no plans for Buddie in the beginning bc point blank you don’t introduce a new character like that and not have them be a love interest. Especially when you zoom in on another character that can possibly be the love interest. And in the place of a previous love interest who’s no longer around. Anyone can talk all they want but some of the most romantic scenes on this show have included Buck and Eddie. That shooting scene? The entire thing was sooo romantically coded and they were the only two there. Eddie fucking reaching out to Buck as he’s slowly losing consciousness? Buck doing everything he can to keep Eddie with him? That’s some of the most romantic shit we’ve seen on this show. They have been paralleling the other main couples for yearssss. They’re co-parenting a child together. Eddie literally put Buck in his fucking will as his child’s legal guardian which is the equivalent of a fucking love confession, considering romance novels are also using that kind of thing as a love confession. This is one of the greatest slow burn love stories that we are witnessing in the history of television and it’s so beautiful to see. And now we have one half confirmed to be queer which means it’s closer than ever. Whether it was truly intentional or not, the actors themselves see the beautiful bond those two characters have and continue to breathe life into them in such an authentic and gentle way. They have been leaning into that role even without prior knowledge or guidance bc even they can see what a beautiful story they’re telling for Buck and Eddie. And it’s so wholesome to see two masculine men who explore and embrace their sexualities later on in life. And that they happened to find that love and connection with their best friend possibly. Yall cannot catch me closing on these two ever because no fucking partner can match the love and commitment they have to each other. They are going to go down in history as one of the greatest love stories on television. We’re all here witnessing history being made.

But imagine they’re so happy and having fun, letting go, enjoying each other’s company. And maybe there’s a moment in which they look into each other’s eyes and something just *clicks* Maybe even they both lean in for an almost kiss but something happens and *poof* it gets interrupted. Shit happens, things are hectic and neither Buck or Eddie recall their almost kiss in the midst of chaos. Maybe it happens at the wedding when they’re dancing with their respective dates and can’t keep their eyes off each other? I really hope that if we get an Eddie pov episode, we get some confirmation just how soft he is for Buck. Almost an internal longing of some sort that he somewhat subconsciously knows about. You are single handedly making my buddie heart float. I need more of your energy in this fandom because quite frankly the takes I’m seeing is very worrisome. They threw Eddie to the side for a white man version of him and I just want my boys together and happy. Am I the only one who thinks Tommy is a plot device ? 😭 Long live Buddie

Oh that’s so sweet of you to say!!! Like I said, could not and would not be me. Buddie is literally everything to me and we’ve been watching them make this beautiful story. They literally made their love from scratch and the show has consistently shown us time and time again that none of their other romantic relationships work. I have to believe it’s all done for a deliberate reason. And this season, all of Buck’s scenes thus far have included Eddie one way or another. He’s either in the scene with Eddie, fixated on Eddie, or talking about Eddie. It’s all Eddie Eddie Eddie. And if that itself isn’t a dead giveaway to where to story is eventually heading, then idk what it is. Tommy is clearly a plot device and he really is so similar to Eddie in a lot of ways. And I’ve mentioned before how I personally think Buck got his wires crossed and he’s confused about the truth of his own feelings. Tommy is new and shiny and he thinks he’s all that. He did the same thing when he met Eddie and realized how cool he was. It’s paralleling them to a t. Not only that but Maddie’s wording when she was talking to Buck when he came out was very telling bc why did she tell him to talk to Eddie when he’s ready. So I’m just riding this storyline out bc I know it’s all meant to be for a specific reason and I’m certain that Tommy will fly away in his helicopter soonish. We still need to get to Eddie dealing with his religious trauma and opening his eyes to the possibility that maybe he’s queer and he’s always been queer. A nice catalyst would be when he finally sees with his own beautiful brown eyes Buck and Tommy together, whether it’s them dancing or kissing or holding hands. I just know a flip will switch in his head and booom, his life will be flipped upside down. So I’m hanging in there and I just know this entire season has been very Buddie heavy and Tim is an evil genius. I believe it’s all planned and it’s slowly coming together!! But we will preserver and Buddie will be the endgame I know it in my heart 💜
