This is based off pre-ganon BOTW and can be seen as romantic or platonic! Just a one-sided friendship based off the song! --------- Sitting on the edge of the balcony, your gaze was on anything except the moon. Despite the night sky being full of wonder, your eyes were on the woman next to you. She looked at the sky with wonder, the smile on her face showing how much of a curious soul Zelda is. She was more beautiful than the moon, at least to you. You loved being by her side and seeing how Zelda viewed the world. Such wonder and curiosity, you wished you could say the same for yourself... TOURNAMENT PARTICIPANTS

Greetings, everyone, our contestants have been finalized, and I want to provide a certain opportunity before the preliminaries begin. Namely, to provide additional propaganda for competitors in need of it. So, I have created a form to collect this new propaganda, and a list of both preliminary and non-preliminary participants under the cut. An asterisk next to a name indicates they have fewer than three pieces of propaganda, which is the amount that will be included in each poll. This form will be open for the duration of the tournament. You can make as many submissions you want for any character.

NOTE: The order of participants does not reflect the bracket matchups. Preliminary matchups will be announced next week, and the complete bracket will be announced after the preliminary round is finished.

The brackets are finally here!

(sorry for the poor quality of the bracket images lol it’s the best i could do)

Two quick propaganda rules:

1. Propaganda is good and encouraged, just don’t send any negative propaganda. This tournament is for fun, and anti-propaganda kinda ruins that.

2. If you do make propaganda, you can either send it through my ask box, or you can reblog the post with your propaganda. Either is fine!

These 6 brackets will go on until there’s only one character left in each. Once the six semi-finalists are chosen, there will be two battles of 3, and then the winners of that will go against each other in the finals! Each poll will last for one day, but the finals and semifinals will be a week each. The posting schedule will be one bracket a day, meaning that day 1 will be bracket 1 round 1, day 2 will be bracket 2 round 1, and so on. The first set of polls will drop tomorrow (March 30) at roughly 4:00 PM EST. Now, onto the actual matchups!

as soon as i read your description attentively i knew who was your perfect match. actually, both your match and the runner up were the ones to instantly come to mind hehe, i hope it’s to your tastes !

your genshin impact match is someone with a silver tongue and a knack for charming people, in contrast to your more reserved character. like you, he is loyal, even if he often conceals himself behind the shadows that come with his cool facade. he cares deeply for his loved ones, and similarly to you, lying is not out of the question for him, especially if it benefits him or someone he holds dear. don’t be fooled by this, however, through the ice he displays, his heart is one of the noblest you can encounter.

One of the reasons why I think you and our resident cavalry captain would work well is due to the nice contrast between your demeanors. You’re reserved and leaning on timid, whereas Kaeya is an expert when it comes to interacting with others.

In addition, he is very sharp and perceptive. A smooth-talker, I just have the feeling that his words would manage to soothe your worries from past events. Kaeya can be very comforting, a steady ice-block, afloat amidst the raging oceans of your worries.

When it comes to insecurity and self-doubt, Kaeya is definitely a great help. He is intuitive and confident, his charisma always managing to put you at ease, calming down the furious gales raging inside your mind, as you turn over every thought time after time.

Indigos fade into silver-flecked marine hues, the fine clouds, the threads connecting the distant stars foretelling the future.

Nightingales flit from one stray tree to another, dancing in the chilly late autumn wind, notes of winter palpable moments before sundown, when the heavens were dyed in steely shades of snow.

Beneath this night, you sit by the garden’s fountain, the water inside its basin, a carbon copy of the infinity above.

One could tell this place and scenery were peaceful, a near perfect idyll taken out of a sweet dream.

If they asked you, however, you’d beg to differ.

Half moons are indented in the palms of your hands, almost a mockery of the one above, as you nervously fiddle with the book you were reading moments ago, hands curling into fists.

Too nervous to keep focusing on the text and diagrams of different constellations and their interpretations, you take shallow breaths now.

Do you look presentable enough? Was this dress the right choice for your date? Will he like it?

Sighing, your eyes flutter closed, the cool breeze, a caress against your quickened heart.

“Well, well, and I thought I was early.” A familiarly mischievous sweet voice chants.

“K-kaeya!” You stammer at first, breath hitching, the temperature on your cheeks rising several degrees.

He flashes his usual saccharine smile, devoid of the shadows of midnight with you. When he was around you, the curve of his lips was not taut or practised, but a crystal clear reflection of his heart of gold.

His tan hand finds yours.

Clear ice meets your eyes, light glinting off of them when the swordsman gets lost in your stare. A rare sight, for the captain’s gaze was usually opaque with secrecy.

“You look lovely, my darling.” The knight whispers, sensuous lips brushing over the back of your hand. You get lost in his midnight lashes, caressing his high cheekbones.

Not even the stars you study could have predicted the wild beat of your heart against your ribcage at his actions.

In a swift motion, your lover tugs at your hand, bringing you close to the warmth of his partially exposed chest.

“And it’s a beautiful night,” he continues, his hands sliding around your waist. “Wouldn’t you say the stars are shining for us, sweetheart?” He softly utters. Your loyalty and honesty are both qualities Kaeya values so much in you. While you might occasionally tell some minor lies, he instantly catches up on them and knows you’re doing it for someone else’s own good.

I think my fave trope is the one where the couple simply just exist together,,, like sure they have ups and downs and wild experiences and funny stories to laugh about over dinner!!! and frankly they theoretically could live without each other and not have much change abt them, but at the end of the day they sit and look at each other and think, "even if I could live without this person, I'd still choose to exist with them"

as for the song, it's honestly a toss-up between cupid by fifty fifty or pasilyo by sunkissed lola ! you don't even quite remember when it was that attracted you solely to him. the ginger man has always been an annoyingly affectionate thorn at your side, a constant in your tumultuous life. even if the world had flipped upside down or suddenly turned against you, you could count on that peculiar snezhnayan man to continue to stay by your side even if it was to beg to spar once more.

you had always found his sense of loyalty a charming point of his. no matter the circumstances, he would always stay by your side even if it meant having the world against him. he was your knight in shining armor who was ready to risk his entire life to make sure you made it out alive, not that you would let him die for you in the first place.

he chose you to bare his heart to, and there was nothing he wouldn't do to prove his devotion to you.

your eyes widen, lips parted in surprise as you watch your dear friend hold his hand out for you. an invitation to dance with him at the banquet held in the zapolyarny palace courtesy of her majesty, the tsaritsa, herself; what was a country loved by the cold, yet pure archon if she didn't hold a party to celebrate the land she cherishes?

childe's eyes shine, a sparkle held deep within the oceans that were his eyes, as he meets your gaze. and, like the peaceful waves that lull you to play along the shores and laze in the gentle swells of water that lap at your feet, your hand is placed in his and he pulls you into his arms as the string quartet plays a waltz.

despite the many people surrounding you, either watching the couples on the floor dancing or the pairs of loved ones swaying to the beat of music as well, you find your eyes lost in deep blue oceans, never straying from his eyes. the harbinger smiles and his dimples poke from his freckled cheeks, making your heart flutter a dance of its own within your chest.

your palms are sweaty and shaky and you're so glad that his are gloved as he leads you through the dance.

"you're nervous," childe whispers, his tone teasing, into your ear. his warm breath hitting the shell of your ear does not calm your nerves in the slightest, but you persevere.

"the crowd is watching," was your excuse as you whisper back. he hums, eyes seeing completely through your fib. he laughs softly, something you've always loved to hear like a favorite song you want constantly playing in your head until you're sick of it.

but you fear his laughter is something you would never tire of hearing.

his gloved hand gently squeezes your own, a silent reassurance and an attempt to calm down the nerves that threaten to leap out of your body. fortunately, it does calm you down, though not by much.

"relax, just keep your eyes on me," childe reassures you. you aren't sure how, but he's shining brighter underneath the glow of the chandelier. was zapolyarny palace casting a spell on you to fall even more for this silly companion of yours?

his usual mess of orange curls has been somewhat tamed with half of it pushed back. his cowlick still stands tall; you wonder if it could ever be tamed but you didn't care, it added to his boyish charm. his ruby earring glints in the light, but its radiance is nothing compared to the charming man in front of you. with the light from the glistening chandelier, it was like a halo encased his head; an angel from celestia cast down to bless you with his beauty.

it's hard for your eyes to stray to anybody else but childe, for he is absolutely breathtaking in the grand hall of zapolyarny palace.

you suppose you would tell childe about the feelings you held for him one day, but that day could wait a little longer. you just want to bask in his embrace as he leads you through the waltz, feeling as if it were just you two dancing among the stars shining from celestia.
