Levi and His Kids Headcanons

(A/N: Goodness golly my inbox is full up! Thanks for all the requests/questions guys, I'll try and get to them as soon as I can but I was gone all day yesterday and most of today. [Although I did get to see Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes and I don't care what anyone says it was gooood])

WARNING: yandere themes, yandere behaviour, referenced noncon/dubcon, emotional abuse, manipulation, misogyny, etc.

How Levi Would Treat His Sons ->

All of his kids would be his pride and joy but there's something special about the boys.

They are his legacy, years from now the Ackerman name will be carried on by them and he'll be an old man surrounded by generations of Ackerman.

All of them will be carbon copies of their father, from their views on women, to being soldiers, to their rough exteriors, all of it. Their father is their hero, he is the ultimate role model to look up to.

They're given rigorous training from a young age, none of his boys will be "crybabies" or wimps that others pick on, they will be strong and able to defend themselves.

On the other hand they're spoiled, anything they want they get. He will give them the world and then some, tearing it apart if he has to to make them happy.

They will come to love and respect their father but only love their mother. Since she's a woman they are inclined to treat her with affection since she did them the courtesy of birthing them, but respect is for men and men alone. (Levi teaching his boys great stuff huh?)

He'll have his boys remind Evelyn when she steps out of line to respect Levi since he's her husband and serve as an extra set of eyes.

Each boy will add to their reputation and do something great on their own to have their father's respect and praise. He wants them to prove to him that they are truly talented and not because of his money.

How Levi Would Treat His Daughters ->

Contrary to popular belief but while he imposes his ideas of women onto his sons he would tell them and his daughter that she's an exception. Something in him would be enraged at the idea of an Ackerman by blood being treated the way he treats his own wife. (Deep down he knows how he treats her is wrong, he just doesn't give a flying fuck)

His daughter would be no different than his sons, trained up from a young age to be just like him, although with slightly less expectations, he has a bit of a soft spot for his girl/girls.

If his daughter wanted to get married he would carefully examine whoever she was interested in and would point out all of his flaws to her, if she still wanted to go through with it, (Unless it was a serious serious flaw that even he was like "fuck no" to, then he would scare the guy off) he would pay for the elaborate wedding.

Mostly he would encourage her not to get married, Levi is toxically traditional but he cares more about his name, and wants his own bloodline to have as many Ackermans as possible, why would he continue another prick's family name?

Levi understands that as a girl she'll be closer to her mother, and he doesn't mind all that much. There are a lot of woman topics he will talk about if need be but would rather not, not because he's uncomfortable by it but because it's unsanitary and gross.

Levi really does his kids, but his wife he'll always love more.

I want your opinion on something. Do you think it's better to try and the the cards of the character you like or skipping some to brench out? Like, say you're a fan of Leona. Should you try to get all of his bday card and stuff or stick to one and get other characters ssr?

personally, as much as I would like every single card...I gotta ration my keys, so I focus on my favorites!

which isn't to say that I only pull for certain characters no matter what! more that I take a good long look at every card that comes out and go "do I really want this one? like...really really want it?" (the answer is usually yes, but -- look, the art in this game is very pretty, okay)

honestly, from a gameplay standpoint, I think it doesn't matter too much whether you focus on pulling for specific characters or not. there are very, very few points where actually having a good mix of characters is important (Those Two Stages in episode 6, where I think you can use retry tickets for the easy mode? and also guest room battles if you care about those) and you'll probably end up with at least one halfway decent card per character just from doing 10-pulls and events. so even if you're only pulling for Leona cards, you'll still end up getting a bajillion other characters as well. follow your heart! chase that grumpy lion bliss! ✨🦁✨

reminder that more often than not, it's important to take breaks from writing instead of forcing yourself through it. listen to your body and intuition.

i say this as someone who writes almost every day. sometimes, that isn't sustainable. sometimes, you need to take breaks from your projects because you're tired from working on them. i have to admit that understanding when to stop and take a break is a skill in itself, but with time, you will master it. you've got this. if not today, then tomorrow.

today, you rest. tomorrow, if you feel like writing, great! if not, rest a bit more. you know yourself better than anyone else. so trust yourself to know when to get back into writing. and don't punish yourself for not doing it.

The Truth About Your Mother|Levi x Evelyn

(A/N: I wanted to do a oneshot with older Levi and his grown kids. I've been brainrotting about how they would interact with their parents and their father's ways. Let me know if I should do a part 2 with the story! (Because it got really long for build up lmao))

WARNINGS: implied noncon, dubcon, manipulation, domestic abuse, yandere themes, forced marriage, forced pregnancy, stockholm syndrome, graphic depictions of violence, mind breaking, misogyny, etc.

Levi's children were his pride and joy, after all he had put Evelyn through in the end she had blessed him with seven children. Four strapping boys and three beautiful girls. Furlan and Isabel were nearly grown now, and the twins Kenneth and Erwin were old enough to have a mind of their own.

Each of his children lived up to their namesakes, named after those he both loved and hated simply because of the person who carried the name before them. He wanted each of his children to embody the strength and spirit of those who they named them after. Although after the first few, he ran out of noble people to name his children after, leaving him with one Julien, and his youngest daughter Maria, named after the mission that brought him his wife and the greatest honor he had ever recieved.

Growing up they had a strict regime in order to become just like their father in all things. He wanted these brats to be a legacy for him. To have anyone who came in contact with one of them know they were Ackermans. When they succeeded he rewarded them greatly. Many a nobleman's child envied the lavish birthday parties and Christmas celebrations Levi gave.

They all grew up to respect and adore their father. Able to tell him anything and receive sound advice, as well as affection. He rarely raised his hand towards them, and when he did they knew why they had deserved it.

However they never knew the truth about their mother's history. Or how she was treated.

After her return to the manor, what Levi ingrained Furlan into remembering as "Mama's big mistake", was the last time she defied Levi. Soon her attitude became like his, and therefore like her children. The town's people bitterly nicknamed it the "Ackerman arrogance", when the dark hair and cold eyes of that family entered the vicinity, all knew to watch out or be cut down with their influence and sharp tongue.

Evelyn was more nurturing and caring than Levi, and left all the discipline to him. However the children still favored their father, since it was his instruction and wallet that gave them all their heart's content.

Levi never beat or even yelled at his wife in front of their kids, determined to show himself in the best light to them. But they were all warned to let Papa know if Mama was trying to disobey him.

He had carefully constructed his life so his children would never know the terrible secret.

At least he thought.

Furlan had been Erwin Smith's personal assistant since he was old enough to be. Having the lessons of the military beaten into him he didn't have to go to basic training. But that didn't mean he didn't catch onto the other's looks of envy and annoyance seeing such a young cadet get such a valued position.

While he sat typing up the notes from the Commander's last meeting he couldn't help but notice today Erwin staring at him.

"Is something wrong, sir?"

Erwin shakes his head. "Nothing really. I just can't get over how much you look like Levi."

Furlan offers the slightest smile. "Thank you sir, that means a lot."

"How is the old bastard getting on? We've both been so busy friendly chats are out of the question."

"As well as he can be. I don't think he'll ever shake that limp and his cane, I've never seen him without it since I was born. But he's the same Levi, in fact I think my siblings help keep him and Mother young."

Erwin scoffs. "Of course. Nothing can touch the unkillable soldier."

Furlan detects the bitterness in his voice. "Sir? Can I ask you a question?"

"What is it."

"Do you not like my father? I know my brother is named after you but it still seems like you don't like him."

"I respect that he knows how to play the game. I respect his judgement and his skills. But no, I'm not particularly fond of him."

"Can I ask why?"

"Ask him for the truth about your Mother, about how he got her to marry him."

"Sir-"

"If you want the truth, then you'll have to suck it up and demand it yourself. He's been lying to you all for years."

"And that's what he said Father." Furlan had gathered the oldest four siblings, him, Kenneth, Isabel, and Erwin all together to hear what Levi had to say. The little ones didn't need to hear this, especially if it was what he feared.

Levi taps his cigarette into the waiting tray. "So you think your old man has been lying to you. My own brats don't trust me."

Isabel is quick for damage control. "Please Father, you know we're not accusing you of anything. We just want to know the truth."

Levi pats her head, taking a moment and sighing. "Very well. I think you should all have a seat.

Thoughts and pictures - S3E1

So after digesting my first watch a little bit, I'm starting my rewatch of this season and I'll share a few thoughts and reactions (and screenshots) because I can't keep it all to myself 😱

I was happy that we dived directly into the (sort of) trial and confrontation between Wilhelm, Simon and August. I do wonder how much time passed between the speech and this scene though. It sets the tone for the entire season for Wilhelm: he's gonna be alone, with no support whatsoever from his parents. He enters the room alone, his parents arrive after him and his mother doesn't even look at him... Simon arrives with his mother and August with his stepdad. But Wilhelm has to deal with the situation alone (aka how to get incredibly mad at Kristina barely 5min into the season 😤)

Simon looks so pretty and so sad. (And how did Omar manage to look even younger this season??) He wants to be done with this whole thing. Also I checked but 1.2 millions kronor is not as much as I thought it would be (it's apparently around 107 000€, which is not bad, but I was expecting more)

I see what you did there Simon 😏 (Can someone gif this scene and put it in parallel with Wilhelm seeing Simon's room for the first time and saying "cozy" in season 1? :p)

The boys coming back to the meeting: very smooth. Nobody knows what you were doing. Nop. Not at all. (We can see Linda kinda smirking when Simon sits back whereas Kristina looks like she just ate a very sour lemon). Wilhelm arranging his hair and Simon smiling at him: they might be in the middle of an important meeting and at the Palace but they're still 2 teenage boys in love (and I love them for that 💜)

Rickard looked and sounded like such an idiot in the previous seasons that I didn't expect him to actually be competent! But I guess we were mostly seeing him through August's eyes... I know Rickard said he was the best lawyer in the country but I have to admit that I thought he was just bragging ^^' Also: August is such an asshole. Did he really need to rile up Wilhelm like that? He's got quite the confidence to attack him and tell him how he just fuck things up on his own, in front of everyone like that, including the queen. Who, again, is not defending her son!! She tells them to shut up but she says nothing to August for talking like that to her son 😠

(They look like they've been called to the principal office). Kristina doesn't look at them immediately, she looks at Erik's picture on her desk first. Then she looks at August. And then finally at Wilhelm. She is so awful to him this season... Right from the start. And then she breaks down crying for Erik.

While Wilhelm holds her. I wasn't expecting to see her grieve so much this season. We didn't see that at all in season 2. Is it because she repressed all of her emotions too much? I hate that she breaks down like that just after Wilhelm publicly coming out. How can she not be there for him. I get that it must be hard to lose a son, but she still has a very alive one, who needs her.

Kristina is not getting redeemed in this season but Linda kinda is! I was super happy to see her get in mama bear's mode at the trial ^^ It was about time!! But here: I'm sorry Linda but it's not your son's role to keep you updated about what's going on in your house! You're the mother! Stop putting everything on this kid's shoulders!! Maybe he never tells you but do you ever ask??

Simon being truly angry at Sara is so good. I am so happy so he's able to feel that way and to not feel like he has to repress it, to forgive her, to help her. She did something truly bad and he's allowed to be mad. Also look at his angry lil' face 💜

In things that made me laugh: Wilhelm's reaction and face to learning that Simon is grounded all semester xD He was talking all smoothly/flirty and then his tone changes so dramatically when he realizes he won't be able to get his boyfriend in his bed very soon! Horny boy is horny (and frustrated :p)

This faaaaaace ☹

I'm happy to see that Simon still has Ayub and Rosh here to support him. I wish they would have told him that replying to comments online was a bad idea though. You know the saying kids: don't feed the trolls!!

Wilhelm looks like such a normal teenager when he gets back to his room. First time we see him so carefree. It breaks my heart to know that on the other side Simon is so unwell already.

Wilhelm waking up happy and smiling. And being just a teenager (for the first time in a very long time): thinking about his boyfriend, redrawing the heart on his hand. It's such teenager things!! My boy just wants to have a normal life... (And then he's immediately reminded that he's actually not just a regular teenager with Farima's text).

Simon's worried face when he asks about Wilhelm's initiation. You can see he's truly horrified at the idea that he might have gone through what's been described in the article.

And then it starts: the piling up of everything on Wilhelm's shoulders. First his mother looking really unwell and breaking down (even though she hasn't been said to be officially ill yet), and now the negative impact of his speech on the school... Which Vincent takes great pleasure in reminding him about.

This first episode is really good at setting things in motion. We see already the beginning of what's gonna go down during this season: Simon not feeling well, dealing with online hatred, struggling with his new place next to Wilhelm in the spotlight. And Wilhelm trying to finally live a carefree life at school with his boyfriend now that he's officially out but slowly getting crushed under the pressure of his role as Crown Prince and the increasingly obvious lack of support from his parents.
