✨ Book Review ✨✨ T: Allegedly A: Tiffany .D. Jackson @writeinbk Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 I gave this book 4.5 rating because I hated the ending! I had so much questions like how did the appeal go? Did her mom go to jail or worse couldn’t take the pressure and killed herself? Did Mary finally take the SAT? Go to college! So many unanswered questions! But overall I loved the book it was a real page turner! I love Tiffany’s writing I was about to visualize everything in such a vivid way! The book is about a 16 year old African American girl named Mary she was wrongfully accused of a horrific crime, killing a white baby at the age of 9. Of all things to get accused of. Now 16 with the world ahead of her, all she wanted was to grasp the world ahead of her but that case was suffocating her. My favorite character was Ms. Claire. I hated Mr. Winters, I had many instances where I wanted to punch him. This + Tinkerbell was probably the very beginning of my childhood fascination of fairies. Coming from this to reading scholarly examinations and compilations of old fairy lore is a neat progression, I think.

The kit was based very loosely on Irish tales; even then I think I knew it wasn’t a very accurate picture of Fae (or of Irish lore), but I still loved to go into the garden with it and look for them.

Jessica: He looks so bad Clint, and he's so angry. I didn't think he could get any angrier- and after seeing him? I don’t blame Maddie for not telling him. Clint: Now hold on a sec, he didn't know either? She shakes her head. Jessica: Oh, you should've seen his face Clint, he was so...hurt. Clint: Did you tell him she's getting married?? Jessica: No, and if he knew...with all those drugs scattered around? I can't even imagine.

Josie had come out of her room just in time to catch more than she was meant to.

Jo whispering: Drugs? Sneaking quietly back into her room, she dives into her backpack in search of a crumpled booklet. Grabbing a sharpened pencil she begins,  Dear Drew, I tried WriTing you a letter but i guess it got lost. So I'm trying again. I miss you So so so so so so so much! ♡ Also I took your room. Sorry. Hope you are not mad. Pa's going to clean the basement. So you can have it. Warning. it stinks. He told your mom he was going to clean it before she came back but I guess he forgot. We saw Maddie at the funerral. She has a baby now. He's cute and talks using sign langwej. I know because we learnt the alfabet in school last week. I wish you would come home. I have so much to say but I'm almost out of room and I need to fit something else in the envalope. Suprise! Its a booklit I made for red ribbin week. Just in case you have a hard time remimberizing to just say NO.

The two parent trap

Ships: Normal and Fem!Logicality,

Warnings: None just a cute scenario I thought of!single parents friends, Single dad! Logan and Single Mom! Lila, teachers!Patton and Penelope

Two toddlers barreled through the parking lot to their school, “Annalee, Jamison! Slow down!” Lila called from behind them.

The kids slowed to a walk- “We don’t wanna be late for class!” “What class do you two even have right now? Every two weeks you act like this-“

Annalee turned to Logan and beamed-“Intersession! Our intersession teachers are awesome!”

“Yesss! Mr. And Mrs. Holloway are the best!”

“Mr. And Mrs?”

“Yeah! They teach together!” Ana beamed catching her father’s hand.

“Mr. Holloway teaches us to build and make stuff-even though he’s kinda clumsy” Jamie explained, while his mother took his hand.

“They must be a couple.” Lila shrugged, “That makes the most sense” Logan agreed.

“I’ll be dropping you at class today so we can speak with your teachers Alright?” Lila asked bending down to her sons height.

“Okay! Is Mr.Logan coming too?”

“Unfortunately I don’t have time today,” Logan checks his watch with a sigh and an unnecessary adjust of his glasses.

“Stay with Lila Annalee, keep close to her and Jamison. Got it?”

Annalee nods, “Like always.” She takes Lila’s other hand and said women walks them both to the classroom.

One of the teachers stood by the doorway, Mrs.Holloway, a peppy looking blonde womenwith a rose gold streaking through the tips.

“Annalee” the women put her palm to Ana’s head

“And Jamison.” She reapeted the action to him

“Welcome back to Intersession!”

Both kids smiled widely and bolted inside the classroom with the others, Mrs.Holloway looked back at them and giggled- a sound that almost forced Lila to relax on the spot.

“Ah-Mrs. Peirce, are you their mother? You are with them quiet often and they never really mention any other mother type figure.” Mrs.Holloway was sweet, and sounded genuinely curious.

“I’m Jamison’s mother. I only help Logan raise Annalee as her biological mother is....no longer in the picture.”

“That does explain the last name difference.” She supposed

“Now may I ask, how you know of us being together frequently?”

“School records. When the classes switch into Intersession we’re given class lists and things like who’s allowed to take and drop off the kids. You and Logan are the only ones registered for those two.”

Lila thought through this and logically-yes that made sense.

“Well now that that’s out of the way, I have a question of my own.” Lila went to adjust her glasses but quickly realized-she wasn’t wearing them today, in favor of contacts.

“Ask away.” The women gestured.

“You and your husband teach together?”

She laughed, not the reaction lila had expected.

“Me and my brother, teach together.” Her glasses moved up with her checks and her smile as she laughed-cute...

Lila found herself smiling- “well I apologize for assuming-“

“It’s fine. Happens so often Patton and I are used to it”

Context grammar...

“I’ll be off to work now, have a nice day....”

“Penelope, Penelope Holloway.”

Lila nodded. “Have a nice day Penelope.”

~Later~

“How was school today kids?” Logan asked pressing gently on the gas pedal, seatbelt over his torso.

“Awesome! Mr.Holloway taught us build a bookshelf and we got to write our own mini books!” Jamie started to dig through his backpack and pulled out a tiny booklit titled ‘My little family!’ With little drawings of the four of them.

“Mrs.Holloway gave us a fraction test-by helping us bake Cookies! I’m realllly good at feactions so I made lots of cookies and we can share them all at home!” Analee beamed holding out a zip lock bag full of cookies while swinging her legs

Logan Smiled looking into the rear mirror seeing what they held up. “They’re very creative teachers aren’t they?”

“Yeah! Everybody loves them, they’re like a second mom and dad!” Ana smiles

“Really?”

“Mhm! A couple kids even call them mom and dad!”

Logan just chuckled softly, Lila had told him their names and situation. Other then that he simply knew that his children loved them both.

“That’s great kids. I’m glad you enjoy your learning so much.” It’s not a false statement, they’re still learning but it’s in such a creative fun way that they don’t even realize they’re learning most times. It’s very effective for theses two.

‘I’ll thank them tomorrow, as a parent.’
