How did you get into writing fanfiction?

I have been writing fanfiction forever, since I was very tiny and had far more internet access than I should have been allowed. And thank god none of it is up. Only the quality stuff remains, after years and years of ironing out my writing to something readable lmao

Recommend an author or fanfic you love.

Two DW fics I'm obsessed with right now are a good bit of trouble (13/10) and still more left to give (tensimm. kind of.) by Ponderosa. Fantastic fics, highly recommend reading them. They sort of tie into each other, so that's also brilliant.

also shamelessly plugging Birds of a Feather, which was gifted to me by BlueCookiesForRick, and is such a lovely Anna & Gabriel fic. and now everyone should go read it because i think about it often.

Share a head canon for one of your favourite ships or pairings.

I am always, always thinking about how Jack Harkness taking the long way round to the modern day means that he would have been around while Rose was growing up. And it's not his Rose, not yet, of course, but it is Rose, and he waited so long to see her again. And I just can't believe that he wouldn't look after her from afar. Jackie's trying to make ends meet, and he leaves a mystery envelope of money on her doorstep. Rose takes a wrong turn one day and gets lost, and Jack steps in to give her directions so she won't be late to a job interview. He leaves presents for her at Christmas, and signs them from some relative she doesn't know very well, or Mickey, or the mailman, or forgets to sign at all.

The Bad Wolf made herself her own guardian angel, you know?

You’re so right! There’s so many great characters that I think we deserve to see again. I’d love to have more of Captain Jack, I’d be thrilled to see Bill and Heather having space adventures, and I would give anything to have Donna Noble back.

(hell, I’d even be happy to see that guy Adam from New Who series one with the crazy forehead. He was annoying af but what a throwback)
