Black people asking for diversity does not mean...

we cannot appreciate a form of media without someone who looks like us being in it.

we are being victims

we are making everything about race

we are being political / forcing a political agenda

we cant make our own forms of media

we are asking other cultures to adjust to our standards

we are taking away from representation of other minorities

we are chosen for our minority status and not our skills

Bigots will make up every excuse in the book to dismiss our inclusion

I'm tired of the idea that passing as a trans person is something you either are or aren't, that it is innate, and if you pass, you pass in every scenario otherwise, you don't pass, and if you don't pass, and it's because you aren't doing enough/aren't transitioning enough/aren't enough of your gender.

I'm tired of the idea that passing is this clearly defined phenomenon that happens to us all if we try hard enough, and that it's inherently our fault if we can't magically pass in every fucking scenario known to man.

#basically yesterday night was chaharshanbe suri . which is a solar new yr tradition where we let go of the past suffering in our year #and like...start the new yr w fresh vigour . anyway so my friend was at the event and we were abt to leap over the fire #and she was like bro im im glad u blocked her (situationship) etc etc . and then. my phone started vibrating. and i look at it. and my f #friend looks at it. and its her. and were both like what the fuck?? i blocked her things r Over and anyway so i pick up the phone and shesl #acting like nothing happened (bc nothing DID happen for her) and she was like ohh ur doing chaharshanbe suri im not doing anything etc what #are ur new yr plans so i jusr .IDK WHY I DID THIS . but ig i didnt wanna come off as like lonely i said probably hanging out w family and #friends maybe reading poetry together . et cetera and she was like wait that sounds so fun why didnt u invite me!#LIKE WDYM YOUVE BEEN CONSISTENTLY MAKING IT CLEAR U DONT WANT TO BE IN MY PRESENCE . and i told her that after #everything i thought she didnt want to see me again and she was like you always think that 😐 . like. ?? ok anyway so she expects me to #invite her . and like. there is an above 0% but sub-5% chance she will actually show up . but the panic that gripped me #i started making calls to my friends asking them if they can come on the 23rd bc there must be an event and also i asked my mother #and she said actually yeah i am doing a thing on the 23rd :D it involves over 16 ppl (we live in a v small flat) of which like...7 are kids #so you wont have space to be in ur own room let alone invite others. which tbh like ...being around a bunch of loud kids doesnt seem fun fo #any of my friends or me etc so i thought maybe i should arrange things so that we all go out together and if she shows up she shows up 🤷‍♀️#but . im so. i think i need bts again.

Do I think Rhaenyra will murder her much younger siblings to protect her claim? No but I do think that their lives will be under threat, even if Rhaenyra does not want them harmed that doesn’t mean that someone on team black wouldn’t kill the young princes to protect their Queen’s claim despite possible consequences from Rhaenyra. We saw this happen with the little Lannister princes in GoT despite the fact that king Robb said they were not to be harmed. Let’s be real, Daemon would have no problem killing them before Viserys’ body is even cold because he knows Rhaenyra would never have him executed. Alicent’s worry is not just being irrational and paranoid because Otto wasn’t entirely lying about the future they may face.

Let Your Voice Be Heard, Inc. invites members of the press to a public demonstration on behalf of Yolna Lubrin and her family. Yolna Lubrin was found September 28th, 2023, hanging from a tree on a property not too far from the intersection of Livingston St. and Westmoreland Dr. It was declared a suicide less than 48 hours from the time of her body being discovered. This occurred not even 5 minutes from the Orlando City Soccer stadium and has left the surrounding community in an understandable uproar. She was revered and loved by many, and many are questioning whether it was a suicide to begin with.

Since the news broke that a young black woman was found hanging from a tree, thousands of social media users from the Orlando area have expressed outrage in the handling of her case. Details have emerged surrounding the discovery of her body and the state that her body was left in, that have left the family members and close friends suspecting that it was indeed not a suicide and there may be foul play at hand, which leaves the family wanting more answers from the authorities that are handling her case. Footage that has now been shared of Yolna’s body being discovered has upset thousands of people online due to the suspicious manner she was left in. The family has been advised that the case is being ruled as a suicide but the community and the family both agree that we do not feel a full investigation has been conducted to the best of law enforcement’s ability.

Let Your Voice Be Heard, Inc. has coordinated a time for members of the family to speak out and let their voice be heard. This public event has already been shared thousands of times online from multiple platforms.
