I remember being so confused on my first watch through when mike just willingly left the mine-and therefore jessica-and climbed up to the sanatorium to chase the stranger, but it makes so much more sense if u get the outcome that occurs when mike is too slow chasing jess. bec i remember thinking like. . . why did he straight up assume jess was dead when he didnt see it, but ig it makes sense for the story and he needs to explore the tunnels and therefore make it back to the lodge basement

Has anyone ever brought up death note to you in real life not knowing you liked it? If so how did you react? Sorry if this is a random question, but I just had a flashback of last year (when I was truly, truly unbelievable obsessed with death note) someone I'd just recently met asked me if I'd watched it and I was so shocked and also a bit terrified that I answered no and never confessed the truth (they moved away soon after)

Haha, it doesn't happen to me TOO often! Usually when it does it's because some dude at a cash register brings up anime or something and then asks me what my fave ones are. I definitely try to act way more casual than I am about it, because I am painfully aware that I'm far from normal about it at this point hahaha 😅 I def am known by my larger friend group for really liking it, but I feel like I barely actually bring it up and that none of them would really like it as much as I do. Certainly none of them know I secretly run a blog for it, either! I've always been such a lone wolf with most of my hobbies and interests, I almost don't know how else to exist about them at this point
