This post was one that I was unsure how to write. I'm white and I am very aware of my privilege.

I wanted today's post to highlight and center the voices of autistic BIPOC individuals and honestly, I couldn't just talk about a few. I wanted to put as many names out here for people to follow.

For those who want to follow and learn and for those who need to find these wonderful people in their community.

When researching and working on my list, I came across a post made by Autistic, Typing in 2019 as they had made a list of Autistic Black/ Indigenous/ People of Color & Latinx Advocates to follow.

This link contains all their hard work and emotional labour, a comments section FILLED with people adding others or themselves to the list, as well as a google doc form to add/ edit/ remove autistic creators. So please, if you are one, go fill it out and have yourself added to the list!

Intro About Me

My name is Kayla. I am new to Tumblr and I hope I find autistic community here. I am young autistic disability rights advocate. I am creator of #AutisticBlackPride which discuss about celebrate and embrace black and autistic pride at the same time. I hope I get to know everyone in the autistic community on Tumblr better.

I am college student at community college. I planned to graduate with associate of arts degree to transfer to a four year college to get a degree in accounting or business administration with concentration in accounting. I did two autism awareness (acceptance) events at my school to educate people about autism and hope get people to see autism in the positive way instead of negative way. I will try to create a club for disabled students and nondisabled allies on campus while I am attending community college. I want to create a community on campus and where we can find one another.

I like music, read books, play video games, dance, and others.
