Wanna know what else I'm obsessed with?

It's Natsume. Lots of people forget about him or never even really noticed him. but I did and he is honestly the most unsettling character to me.

He is constantly around Dazai, watching throughout 15 and dark era and he spies on the agency/Dazai? in the present timeline too.

He appears around PM Dazai all the time unless he is with Mori or Chuuya but not Odasaku. He watched the lupin trio.

It's not just the watching, it's the interfering. He gave Oda that book, that book that made Oda who he is and in turn made Dazai who he is.

Was Mori really the only one who made the decisions about Oda dying? Why was there no other choice unless it was a part of a bigger plan?

He put Mori in a prime position where he would be called upon to treat the old mafia boss, where he could learn and understand that the city was falling apart. For a lot of that time the person giving him orders was Natsume.

Natsume was the one who hired Fukuzawa to be Mori's body guard.

Natsume was the one who made the detective agency a possibility.

He is the one who put Mori and Fukuzawa in charge of opposite organisations. What else did he do?

How did Mori find Yosano? Where did Dazai come from? How did the guild know about Atsushi?

Time and time again Natsume shows up to create a chain of events leading up to creating a perfect pair who could cause devastation and/or save the city.

He started with Mori and Fukuzawa, Mori who would continue this line of succession by creating soukoku, Dazai and Chuuya. Mori even quotes something Natsume told him. "only diamonds can polish diamonds."

Dazai, with Natsume possibly guiding him, goes on to find his own diamonds to be polished and creates Shin soukoku.

Everything that has happened can stem from Natsume, a character we rarely see and isn't outwardly stated as important. What is he hiding?

If you made any of the big BSD ships canon I honestly think SSKK would have the healthiest dynamic. That relationship’s complicated, as most BSD ships are, but unlike other ships in the series Akutagawa and Atsushi actually, canonically talk to each other about their feelings.

au where atsushi goes to art school on the side of the ada or whatever

for a big project his professor encourages him to lean into his strengths (drawing ppl) while also challenging himself (not drawing the ada for the 345432 time <- he cant help it he rlly likes them and they all r interesting enough to draw)

anyway he decides to find a model and focus the project on them

enter cute guy who wears glasses inside during the night he bumps into at the grocery store

featuring the ada pretending to not be affected by atsushi centering so many pieces around them

akutagawa who just got approached by a cute funny looking guy asking him to be his model for a project - is this a plan of attack by an enemy organization, should he immediately report in w/ mori or let it play out until its proven ?

and the heart attack kunikida's gonna have when he goes sees atsushi's finished project and its a mafioso

Im so sure that when Atsushi gets bitten he will transform fully into the Tiger as a survival mechanism, we've seen this happen before in 55 minutes. And If he goes full Tiger then there is almost nothing that can stop him, seriously the tiger is insanely over powered

SSKK brain rot is back

I have a monthly occurrence where SSKK consumes my thoughts and so I have decided to share.

Dazai did not give up on Akutagawa or leave him, he found Atsushi and he's using him to finish Akutagawa's training.

After dark era Dazai has realised that he is not a good mentor for Akutagawa and should relinquish that role. He does not plan to be in contact with Akutagawa or be a piece of his life in order for Akutagawa to start to grow on his own as his own person.

There is another post (This one) that talks about how Dazai wants Akutagawa to use Rashoumon defensively instead of this constant offense that only knows how to kill.

So when Dazai finds this boy whose ability is purely offense (And healing ig?) He realises that Atsushi is the perfect partner for Akutagawa. Atsushi forces Akutagawa into a corner where he has no choice but to use Rashoumon as a defence.

When they first work together to defeat Francis, they are both on offence and while it does work, and they win it is not an easy or well thought out strategy. They are sloppy and they mostly get in each other's way. And yes Akutagawa uses Rashoumon: demon wearing armour, but it's for himself only, he's working alone.

When they fight Ivan, Akutagawa realises if they want to win he has no choice but to work with Atsushi and use Rashoumon in a way that he normally wouldn't. He's forced to stand back and defend Atsushi.

By the time they fight Fukuchi they both know exactly what needs to be done. they have their flaws but now they can connect during battle in a way that uses both their strengths.

If that wasn't enough, at the end of cannibalism arc Akutagawa promises not to kill for 6 months. This obviously forces him to start using Rashoumon in a defensive state more often and refrain from killing, fixing that bad habit that Dazai scolds him for in dark era.

This only Akutagawa's side of the story I've written but I promise its sskk. Wait until I start talking about how Akutagawa is Atsushi's safe space because of the defensive capabilities.

There is so much going on with these two I love them.

I think it's great to be a person who can say, "I've been through real depression and I know what it is." I wouldn't want to lose this experience. I wouldn't want to be someone who can't sympathize and understand those who are going through depression right now. in other words, I am glad that I have known pain, and thanks to this, I can sympathize to the pain of others.

high school au where atsushi always leaves like half an hour before he has to to get to school and all of his friends are like “atsushi you know you dont have to do that’ and he says he does it because thats when akutagawa takes the train

all of his friends naturally assume that that means atsushi has a crush on akutagawa and start cheering him on in their own ways and ‘wingmanning’ him

but in reality, atsushi likes to be on the train with akutagawa because he’s always in a shitty mood in the morning and his terrifying aura and angry scowl has everyone avoiding him best they can so if atsushi stays close to him he can avoid being bumped into and pushed around

akutagawa is unaware that thats why this random white haired boy is always near him and gets really confused when atsushi yells out ‘thank you !!!’

also atsushi does have a crush on him but thats because one time he saw akutagawa in all his grumpy glory pause midstep because he noticed a ladybug and carefully pick it up and move it aside so it wouldn’t get stepped on
