no nsfw asks. Im okay with suggestive asks, as long as they're relatively contained, it just depends

No political asks (I may share my opinions sometimes randomly but I don't want asks about political irl stuff)

Don't send that same ask over and over and over, most times I got the first 2 and they're sitting in my inbox to be answered later (sometimes it can take me a few days or months to think of how I wanna answer specific asks)

I'm probably missing some.. but my brain too sleepy to think of the rest haa

I debated making a rules post but as my account grows, I think it might be time.

Firstly, I have decided that while I don't like deleting requests, if I get requests like the following examples- I will delete them/refer the anon back to the ask rules: (these are fake asks I've made up on the spot)

example one: hi! can i please request character fluff please?

example two: i really love your writing and i was wondering if i could request smut with character?

example three: asking for more character fics please!

This is not because I don't appreciate the compliments- I really do ❤️ it is just because there is nothing there for me to base the request on.

2. On this point, I need at least one word to base a request on. It can be any word at all that you like. By this, I mean that you can request things such as the following if you don't have a specific request:

example one: hi! could i request a fluff fic with character based on the prompt 'dinosaur'.

example two: can i request character fic with the prompt 'marshmallow' and/or 'water slide'. (this one does not have a type listed ie. smut/fluff/angst but still has the minimum one-word prompt)

However, if you have specific ideas then please by all means put that in. It's only if you don't have any specific ideas for a request where I would ask that you put one or two words in for a prompt.

3. If you do not specify a gender for reader, I will assume you either want a gender neutral fic or I will leave it up to whatever strikes my fancy at time of writing. I will write trans and non-binary reader fics as well as cismale and cisfemale.

4. I will not write fics with minors or non-con.

5. This is a safe space and hate of any kind towards other tumblr users will not be tolerated.

Ask Rules

My inbox should indicate whether or not I'm taking asks or match-up requests; sometimes mobile is funky though.

Current Status; Closed

General foreword before the rules;

I am only taking asks for Twisted Wonderland; more fandoms may be added later but there is no guarantee.

I can pick and choose what requests I take on.

If I feel like the ask is pushy or rude I simply won't answer it.

I only work on one thing at a time. When I'm writing more long-form works, I may take on smaller side projects such as match-ups as a little break so I don't get burnt out writing for one big piece.

I write primarily for a gender-neutral reader; they/them and you are used for the reader's pronouns. I can write for a femme or masc reader, but I am more comfortable with gender-neutral, plus it can allow for more people to interact. The only time I can guarantee using different pronouns for the reader is if it is for a trans reader.

Rules;

General

No NSFW or 18+ requests. I am not comfortable yet in writing that type of content.

No polyam involving Jade and Floyd, or any other cast members with family members for that matter.

Ortho and Grim are strictly platonic.

Romantic scenarios will have the cast aged up to 18+

If you ask off anon please reblog. Reblogging content is how it reaches people here on Tumblr. I am more than happy to read your thoughts.

Don't copy-paste requests you sent to other blogs. By that, I mean specific asks. Seeing someone ask multiple blogs the same request feels like a slap to the face; at least in my opinion. We're people, not machines, so please treat writers as people.

I won’t write about children; be it reader being one, having children or adopting children.

Headcanons

Limit to five characters. I find that I do better writing if I can narrow in on a few characters rather than the entire cast.

Please have a clear prompt.

Drabbles [500 - 999 words]

Limit to one character and a clear prompt. I can make exceptions if you want polyam, just please indicate it.

I mainly only do drabbles for follower events with a prompt list, but my slots are limited so I don't overwork myself.

If I am not doing an event, please include a clear prompt.

Fics [1K+]

I'm not taking requests right now. I have a Google Doc with some ideas but I usually leave it to a poll with random answers to decide what I work on next. Typically I only work on one fic at a time, yes, even multi-chapter ones.

Feel free to put your own brain worms in though. They might just infect me and end up on my Big Ol' List of Brain Worms [that is literally the name of my Google Doc for future WIPs]

Not a Writing Ask

Those are always open. Feel free to pop in, I just ask that you keep it on topic (be it TWST-related, writing-related, or if you have any questions).

Hello! I just had a question: Where do you draw the line with the asks? Because I want to send you stuff or ask stuff, but I also don't want you being uncomfortable viewing them? You having a good time is important to me because I get so much serotonin from your blog >w<

I wrote an entire response for this and then my tumblr crashed so here’s a take two.

Ok so my guidelines for asks:

You can ask stuff about prompts, posts, advice/ideas to help flesh out or progress your dpxdc fic? anything you want! Anything from your own prompts, to an idea for a prompt for me to write, to just questions about myself, but I have a few rules:

Please before you send me an ask think to yourself, “is what I’m about to send a hate crime, incredibly racist/sexist/homophobic/etc?” If any of that is a yes, then please don’t send it. I can and will delete it and ignore your question.

I have no big triggers myself. Other people do though so please put a TW at the top of your ask if it contains triggering topics.

Dont spam my inbox. If you have 10 cool ideas you want to talk about, write them and post them on your own blog! Curate your own blog! Make people read your cool ideas! Please don’t send them all to me. I get 20+ asks a day and spam is just exhausting to deal with. Please sent a max of 3 asks a day.

Please properly indent and paragraph your asks. ADHD is a bitch and my brain doesn’t focus on blocks of text. This is more to benefit y’all because I normally skip large walls of text to work on responding to properly spaced asks that I can easily digest.

If you have any constructive criticism or corrections on something you think I can improve for a prompt or something I stated about canon lore that was incorrect, feel free to correct me on it. I will reiterate though, constructive criticism. Fact checking isn’t inherently negative but it can easily be perceived as such. I only know so much about various fandoms and lore, take it easy that I don’t know everything and anything about a particular subject.

If you have complaints and want to talk shit, genuinely just DM it to me instead. I’d rather have a discussion about why you think of me or my blog negatively rather than just having the equivalent of a drive by of someone shouting “you suck!”. It causes equally the same reaction: I’m just confused and a little miffed that someone had the audacity to shout at me. If you wanna say something I’d rather I’d you just say it to my face. ^-^

Please don’t send in any asks about trans AU’s. I understand their appeal and enjoy reading them, I’m simply not Trans or have any feelings of body dysmorphia. To me it feels wrong to write about it because I can’t connect with the subject so I can’t write it accurately. If you send something in about a Transgender headcannon or AU, I won’t add any further commentary on it. I may post it but I won’t be elaborating on something that isn’t right for me to elaborate on.

Absolute no’s for pairings and ships:

Absolutely no adult/child anything. This sounds like common sense but I’ve seen enough people ship Bruce and his Robins together that it’s an issue. No twincest either, that’s a no go.

Pro Tip, Please Read All of It : Askers have two things that make them Askers.

A Guard to keep them from being stupid or violent and an Orange Lanyard with a Tag that records the events, audio, and indicates that they're not intruding.

Things the Askers Can't do or they'll be BANNED :

- Kill or Hurt Students in cases that are not related to self defense. (We will take you outside and shoot you down.)

- Verbally or Physically Harass/Bully Students. (You'll probably get reported to the police depending how severe it was and get your asker privileges yoinked. )

•These punishments can also be used for events like stealing or vandalizing school property or students personal belongings.

- Dispose/Loose your Tag,

No, you can't get a replacement if you loose it or purposely get rid of it.

Yes, you can have it repaired if it gets damaged by someone else UNLESS you asked them to. Then, You got no more Asking Privileges.

If you don't have your tag on inside the school, we will assume you're intruding and take you to the police.

- You also can't *say* that One of the Characters did something to you.

Ex : (Asker : *Buggs threatens me to give him my lunch money.*)

It just doesn't work like that. Sorry.

This Asker is still wearing his Tag under his shirt, so he's basically fine. As long as he doesn't get violent and still has his tag on him, he's all good and won't get deprived of his ask tag.
