I’ve been going to a lot of concerts recently, sooooooo my favorite redacted boy concert headcannons (this is my favorites. If I get enough requests to do more then I will)

Caelum

His first concert he is a little nervous. So he’ll go with Gavin and freelancer. And he’ll have a great time.

#1 because he’s with his favorite people

#2 all of the happy vibes/ emotions from everybody there will make him feel 10x better

For all the other concerts, though, I can imagine Gavin/his brothers and sisters, taking him to a demons only concert and him having a blast with bracelet trading, making sure everyone’s hydrated.

Overall, having a great time

Milo

Milo only likes concerts if other people are there with him. and he likes to get seats that are really close to the stage even floor if possible.(providing that the venue isn’t just floor) because it’s no secret, it’s tough being a short person at concerts (as a short person I’m speaking from experience)

So yeah, Milo by himself at concerts it’s rough

Milo plus the rest of the pack (David, Asher, Sam plus their mates, etc.) he’ll be having the time of his life

Sam

This poor man…..

Concerts are not his favorite thing….

if it’s for a band that he really liked before his turning, then he’ll stick it out and risk the migraine. but the only time he will willingly go to a concert is if Darlin is going. And even then he hast to wear sunglasses and noise canceling headphones. All of the lights and loud music can be a bit too much for our vamp grandpa (I said what I said)

Asher

I am convinced that this man schedules all of the fun group activities for the pack so you know he’s having a blast at the concert

We’re talking pregaming at his apartment (if necessary)

He’s got the glow sticks, everybody’s getting Murch.

But not only is he Asher the party animal. He’s also Asher talbot beta of the shaw pack

Making sure Everybody is safe, happy and accounted for.

Cuts people off when he has to, helps David make sure everybody is hydrated and fed

Making sure everyone has a safe and awesome time.

Believe me, I would do one for hush, but we don’t know enough about him yet.

As alpha of the pack it is his job to make sure that everyone stays safe and healthy during their activities….

Which is just a fancy way of saying as the dad friend, he must keep his menaces on a short leash

“buddy system everybody”

“you can’t go to the bathroom alone and take someone with you”

Are phrases that you will hear him repeat throughout the night, and we love him for it

Yes, he’s having a great time but he’s not gonna have a great time until he ensures the safety of everybody else.

I propose the follwing prompt: Emmy and Ash already know their papa is super strong and scary but never got to see their dad's angry powerful side until he saves them one day from an attack (god/monster your choice really) without breaking so much as a sweat. At the end, Percy unable to look his children in the eyes fearing to see the dread from that side of him on their faces gets surprised as his kids are starstruck and just in awe of him 🤩 (just like a certain young child of Hades years ago hehe). Bonus points if it s from Percy's pov.

Also bonus points if happens on Halloween since we re at it 🎃

Percy felt his blood pumping as he ran towards the alleyway.

He had been against Emilia and Asher going Trick or Treating alone. Emmy was just 12, and they lived in Manhattan, but Nico had insisted that they would be fine.

Once they were out of earshot, his husband had told Percy to tail them to make sure they would be all right.

"I knew it!" Percy said triumphantly. "You're scared too!"

Nico had rolled his eyes and given him a kiss to shut him up.

"I trust Emilia to take care of herself and her brother... in normal mortal situations," Nico had said seriously. "But they are not mortals, and Halloween is teeming with monsters ready to gobble up any unsuspecting demigod or legacy."

"Emmy will have her sword and Ash his lance," Percy had pointed out. They had already agreed on Wonder Woman and some anime character Percy was not familiar with to make the weapons more inconspicuous. "But mortals... you can't trust them."

"Tell you what," Nico had said. "Keep an eye on them. We hope nothing happens, and Emmy's happy we are giving them more responsibility, deal?"

Percy had smiled.

"Everybody wins."

"Except the guy stuck giving out candy," Nico had said as he pointed at himself.

But Nico had been wrong.

His children had been dragged away on their trip before he could notice, and he was not as good a tracker as his husband.

"Excuse me, did you see a snake woman and a cyclops dragging Wonder Woman and a boy with blue hair?" He asked a group of kids.

Gods, he loved that this type of question wasn't seen as demented on this holiday.

A boy dressed as Flash pointed at arusty door down the pier.

"Thanks!" He said quickly.

Before he took off, he heard one of the kids shout, "Cool Roman armor!"

"Actually, it's Greek!" He shouted back, grinning.

He rushed through the opened door, and the first thing he saw was three monsters sorrounding his kids. Emilia had her sword raised as she covered Asher with her body, the boy holding his lance horizontally and covering his sister's back.

"Why bring us here and not just eat us in the open?" Emilia said. Percy smiled. Good, she was making time, just like he taught her.

"Becausse you are the bait!" The dracaena hissed. "Lure for our prey!"

"And like, you can also be the starter once the main course gets here!" The third figure drawled, and Percy's blood ran cold. "I want to see him screaming in despair!"

Kelli.

"'s good marinade," the cyclops grunted, but Percy ignored his words, stuck on the Empousa.

They had cornered, kidnapped, and threatening his children to get to him.

Percy saw red.

He jumped, using Riptide to stab the cyclops in the heart and immediately after cut off the dracaena's head. Both turned into dust before Kelli turned, eyes wide.

Percy didn't stop, he slashed low, cutting off her bronze leg and making her stumble, and then willed all the moisture around the empousa to condense around her head, making a water bubble.

Kelli screamed, but only bubbles came out of her.

"Get close to my family again, and I'll make sure you don't reform," Percy said in a cold voice. "I'll take almost all the fluids from your body, leaving you with just enough to keep you alive, eternally living as a desecated hag."

Kelli shook her head, eyes wide with terror. Percy stabbed again, this time on her chest, turning the monstrous cheerleader into dust like her lackeys.

He turned to look at his kids, who were staring at him, wide-eyed.

Percy cursed. This couldn't be happening.

"Hey, Emmy, Ash," he said, too afraid to step towards them. "Are you okay?"

Asher nodded slightly. He tried moving towards him, but Emilia held him back.

Crap.

"Look, about what you saw, it was—"

"Oh no!" Emilia stomped her foot, angry. Percy blinked. "You were following us, mister! You don't trust us!"

Percy felt his brain stop working. What?

"Uh..."

"And don't think that I'll forget it just because you did the coolest thing ever!" She continued, crossing her arms.

"You... you thought it was cool?" He asked, confused. Emilia huffed.

"So cool, dad!" Asher said, eyes bright. "Can I do that? Ooh, can Emmy do that?"

"Ash, we're angry with him!" his sister whispered, but it was loud enough that Percy heard. "But... I'd like to know too..."

Percy sighed in relief and smiled apologetically.

"Maybe when you're older," he said. Emilia nodded, satisfied. "I'm sorry, I just can't help but worry about you."

"It's not even the first time we've been attacked by monsters who want to get you or papa," Emilia said. Percy's eyes widened.

"Yeah, they're small fry compared to uncle Crusty!" Asher added.

"He doesn't deserve to be called uncle," Emilia chastised her brother, who just pouted.

"But he sends me toys every year for my birthday," he protested. "He's just mean in person."

"Those are torture devices," Emilia said, exasperated. "He's threatening you!"

"It's not... the first time?" Was all Percy managed to say. Emilia rolled her eyes and shook her head.

"We're your children, dad," she said like that explained everything. "We know how to handle ourselves."

And Percy smiled and hugged them.

"I know that now," he said. "But I think that's enough for the night. How about we go home and watch a movie with papa. I'm sure he missed us."

Emilia looked at her candy bag, probably pondering how full it was, before nodding.

"Only if you teach me that water trick."

"We'll see next weekend," he promised.

As they walked home, Percy made a mental note to go "visit" Procrustes with Nico soon.

Ok this au came to me so I decided to write about it it’s a crossover between trash of the counts family x I have become the hero’s rival x the villainess reverse’s the hourglass it’s quite long - I call the au Golden Light because everything was bathed in golden light before Claudia died and everything went to the underworld

Alberu from totcf is anastacius and Claude’s dad

Claudia from ihbthr is anastacius from wmmap mom and Alberu first empress

Felix and Irene from ihbthr are roger alpheus from wmmap parents so Claudia is his aunt

Cale from totcf is Felix from wmmap dad

Aria and Asher from tvrth are Penelope and Rosalia’s From wmmap parents

Alberu is the emperor of obelia

Asher isn’t a prince but count judith

Cale is duke robane

Felix from ibthr is duke alpheus

Alberu’s last name in this is de Alger obelia

Felix and Claudia’s last name is alpheus

Cale’s last name is robane

Asher last name is judith

Ok so in this Alberu, Cale, Felix, Claudia, Irene, aria and Asher grew up together they were all friends eventually Cale got married and had a child felix robane who was named after felix from ihbthr and again felix from ihbthr married Irene and had roger alpheus aria and Asher got married and had Penelope and Rosalia then Alberu and Claudia married and had anastacius. now I know we saw anastacius mom but I found it weird how she was still alive because we all know Diana died giving birth to a imperial child and Claude’s mom was sick after giving birth. so for my au the empress is anastacius stepmom and he didn’t know but anyway as I was saying Alberu and Claudia had anastacius but she died and anastacius Claude and roger’s generation didn’t know about her because Alberu made an imperial order for the adults of obelia to not talk about Claudia with them being executed if they did. So after she died Alberu grew distant from there friends and also had hallucinations of Claudia like Claude would have of Diana and when anastacius was 1 or 2 he remarried to the empress because of political reasons and told her he would never love her because he didn’t want her to get her hopes up and think he would as he would only ever love Claudia and because she was from there generation she knew about Claudia and that’s one of the reasons why she was awful towards anastacius. Then Alberu had a one night stand with a concubine after he got drunk because he felt guilty and like he was betraying Claudia after he married the empress. The concubine then got pregnant with claude who in my au Alberu named after Claudia which anastacius and claude and roger’s generation including them didn’t know about it which made them and the noble’s children think Alberu didn’t care about Claude it’s also one of the reasons why the empress was awful to Claude because he was named after the dead woman who her husband would always love and who’s shadow she was stuck in. He also became like I said before cold and distant towards everybody even his kids but still cared he just didn’t physically show it so because Alberu became distant and they didn’t want the kids that felix from ihbthr is the uncle of the kids that if Claudia survived Cale would have been like an uncle towards to be be alone so Cale sent his son felix to become Claude’s playmate and Felix from ihbthr sent sent his son roger to be anastacius playmate. Because they all grew up together and were friends Alberu accepted it was also the reason why Alberu, aria and asher betrothed Penelope and Claude. Also Irene, aria and whoever Cale married were the lily to Claudia’s Diana so Cale’s wife became Claude’s nanny and Irene became Anastacius nanny. Also if you wonder why asher and aria would betrothed Penelope to Claude or Cale’s wife would become his nanny when he’s not Claudia son it’s because 1 they were and still are friends with Alberu so they would look after his kid 2 Claudia would want them to look after him because he was both Alberu’s son and created and born after she died and 3 he was an innocent child for the au that’s all I could think of before I lost focus if I think of anything else I’ll probably edit this. Also as I said before roger anastacius and technically Claude don’t know there cousins they don’t even know about Claudia because alberu made an imperial order for the adults of obelia to not talk about Claudia and if they did they would be executed. So no knowing about her being anastacius mom, the technical stepmom of Claude or roger’s aunt. Also someone please make wmmap react to this au if it’s a story on ao3, FanFiction.Net, Wattpad or a gacha life reaction video on YouTube please I really want to see this I think it would be a really cool concept ! Also if you do make a reaction story or video and somebody makes another unless they copy you word for word or with only a few changes please don’t say they copied you I would like to see different story’s and videos to this au also if you do decide to create a story or video let me know I would love to see it

Worthless - Chapter 27 - Part 2

Asher

'Punishment.'

Now logically, I knew Kade wouldn't hurt me.

He said he wouldn't and I believed him, right?

I couldn't help the doubt that seeped into my mind, its fingers picking apart everything Kade's said and done, twisting the scenes into something more sinister.

No, he wasn't anything like that.

He wouldn't treat me badly.

He wasn't like 'him'.

But people could change, couldn't they?

I mean, Mother told me that man was kind and loving.

When he came home though and Kade, he could, I shook my head, trying to clear it of the unwanted thoughts of the fear that was rising.

I felt a hand touch my arm, making me jump.

Wide eyed, I turned to see Kade, his expression one of concern.

"Hey, love. You okay? You've been standing there for over five minutes."

After a moment I nodded slowly, giving him a weak smile.

'Yeah, I just feel a little sick.'

He pressed his hand against my forehead.

"Well, you don't feel warm."

"Glad to know there's a doctor in the house," Gunner muttered as he dug through a box of stockings.

Thalia was with him, trying to inconspicuously place a bow on his head.

Kade ignored him.

"Do you want to go lie down?"

'No, I'll be fine.'

I gave him a smile to reassure him.

It seemed to work since he nodded and patted my head.

"Well, tell me if you feel too bad and we'll go back up stairs."

"You can't."

I turned to see a pouting Fallon.

"We're supposed to decorate."

I grinned, kneeling in front of him to ruffle his hair,

'Don't worry, we will. I promised, didn't I?'

His eyes lit up and he took hold of my hand, leading me towards the tree Liam and Rowan brought in before leaving to go help their mom and dad.

Alpha Eric handed us a string of newly untangled lights that we began to wrap the tree with and then place ornaments.

Riley joined in with Thalia.

She smiled at me and started to hand Riley and me things to hang.

Fallon, if he didn't think it was perfect would direct us to place them somewhere else.

"You know, I feel like some Christmas music," Anna announces, motioning for Shelby to go to the stereo and put some on.

'Last Christmas' started to play.

Shelby turned and walked over to Anna, taking her hands in her's and began to dance.

We all watched as she spun a laughing Anna around, love shining in their eyes as they made complete fools of themselves, having a blast as they did so.

I glanced over to Kade, seeing him smile before his eyes met mine and his smile grew larger.

When the song ended and the two giggling mates took a bow we clapped, laughing.

Rory whistled and demanded an encore.

My cheeks heated when Kade blew me a kiss from across the room.

Ignoring it and my racing heart, I turned back to decorating the tree, sticking my tongue out at Thalia as she chuckled.

We spent the rest of the day decking out the home in all things Christmas.

Stockings were hung over the fireplace and the tree was fully decorated and the lights twinkled.

Mistletoe was placed in many of the doorways much to the mated couples' joy.

We even got done hanging lights up outside.

I had gotten into the 'Christmas spirit.'

It was fun to be around everybody, to partake in this tradition as part of a family even if I didn't understand everything.

I knew Fallon and Riley were happy as well, smiles seemingly permanently fixed on their faces as they tried to help with every little thing.

It was great to see them like this.

I was looking forward to what Christmas Day would be like if this was already so much fun.

I glanced over to the couch where Fallon had fallen to sleep.

Riley was sitting beside him looking ready to pass out as well.

It was almost midnight according to the clock, way past their bed time.

I went over to them, carefully picking up Fallon as to not wake him.

'Come on, let's get you two to bed.'

She yawned, nodding and followed after me.

We took our time but eventually reached their room, setting Fallon on the bigger of the two beds, knowing that they preferred to share.

I remember Kade telling me how they had fought the others to let them sleep in the same room the first night we were here.

Though it's normal that siblings with age differences didn't sleep in the same room, Fallon and Riley had never been apart from each other.

Honestly, I don't think either of them could sleep without the other nearby.

It worried me for what that might mean for their futures, knowing that they'll one day meet their own mates and have their own lives.

For now, though, I was content to let them do as they pleased.

"Night, Dad," Riley murmured as she settles under the covers beside her brother.

'Good night.'

I shut the door, making my way to my own room.

As soon as I entered, I felt strong arms wrap around me, picking me up and tossing me onto the bed.

My heart pounded as I landed with a bounce.

"You ready, my love? I'm not going to hold back."

I could see Kade in the dim light as he approached.

He was wearing what one would call a seductive smirk but all I could see was 'him' approaching me.

I knew he wasn't here but I couldn't help but feel paralyzed as Kade came towards me, my body trembling.

Kade suddenly stopped, his face morphing into a panicked expression.

"Baby? Are you alright?"

He rushed over and I tensed, letting out a fearful whimper.

"Asher, love, tell me what's wrong. Did I do something? You can tell me."

He reached out to soothe me but stopped when I inched away.

"Please, Asher," he begged,

"What's wrong? I'm so sorry if I did something. Please tell me so I can fix it."

'R-Rory said you w-were going to punish me b-because you... because I teased you a-and we got interrupted... and then I-I started to wonder if you were... were like him and if you were going to hurt me because you were angry we didn't h-have s-sex.'

"What? No, no, no, love. Rory never meant that type of punishment. I might have been a little sexually frustrated but I'd never hurt you or force you. I'm not like him and I'm so sorry I made you doubt me. Please, Asher. Love, please look at me."

It took over a minute before I could bring myself to glance at him, my eyes widening when I caught sight of a few stray tears running down his cheek.

He was crying.

I could see how scared he was, how terrified he was at the thought that he hurt me, that I was comparing him to that man.

I saw him then.

My Kade. My mate.

How could I have thought he was anything but the kind man filled with so much love?

The man I loved?

I launched myself into his arms, whispering apologies through the link, letting him know that I knew deep down he'd never hurt me.

We clung to each other, both regretting our own actions even though Kade didn't do anything wrong.

It was only me letting my doubts run wild. Kade kissed my neck, whispering words of love as we settled into bed, neither one of us felt like doing anything but cuddling.

He made sure there wasn't any doubt in my mind, telling me to talk to him about anything I felt uncomfortable with.

I nodded, snuggling closer to him, thankful I had such an understanding and forgiving mate.

I thought back to before I met him, before he rescued me, not knowing exactly how I'd gone on living.

'I love you, Kade. I'm so happy you found me.'

"I love you too. Finding you was the best thing I've ever done."

He hugged me closer, kissing the top of my head.

"I'll do anything and everything to keep you happy."

I closed my eyes, a small smile on my face as I began to drift off.

'Just stay with me. That's enough to make me happy.'

I loved this episode! I thought it was great. I was really hoping Glassman would be okay, but with how long it went on I was getting more and more suspicious :'((. I just hope this will all end up okay, one way or another <33. But anyway, I did like all the storylines! Some super exciting stuff happened too :D. The cases were great, though sad on one side :'(((. But yeah I really enjoyed it :)

Now, again, it is the same day as the next episode XD. In fact, thirty minutes form now I'll be watching it lol. And I started this by rewatching the promo to finish that part (starting with "Hmm I mean yeah") xD. Anyway, my point is, I may come back to edit later, but this will be very short lol.

Jordan, Perez, and Kalu! I'mma be real, I'm pretty sure some of their storyline was in this episode, but I don't remember a thing about it xD. I just checked my liveblogging and I don't see anything either lol. I thought maybe it was when Jordan and Perez agreed to see what happens? But I think that was sladt week xD. Anyway, if they did, AAAAHHHHHH!!! But besides that xD. They were all great at their jobs this episode :)). I love them all 🥰🥰🥰.

Lea! She was great :)). Great to see her hanging out with the girls 🥰, and as always, nice to see her supporting Shaun :)). Still, I hope all of this gets sorted out soon 😭😭. Anyway, I love her ❤️❤️! I'm sure she was great at her job :)).

Lim! We didn't see her much this episode but she was great :)). I'm nervous for next week with Glassman though 😬😬. Him coming by to give the mobile was so sweet though :')). I'm sure he'll support her through this, just like he did ivf (I think that's what it was lol) <33. Anyway, I personally would feel like I wasted a lot of time and money by giving up on the treatments, but whatever xD. And by that I really mean, whatever makes you happy, and feels right, Morgan <333. I love her :')) ❤️❤️. Also, she was great at her job this episode. And though we didn't see much of it, Park was great t his job too :). I love him <333.

Asher and Jerome! AAAAAHHHHHHHH MY BOYYYSSS!!!! How dare they do this to me 😭😭😭😭💔💔❤️. But also, ay, angst :D. Love that for us 😌 :). I'm going to assume they worked it out, and that it won't continue into this next episode lol. But AAAHHHHH Asher showing up to apologize :'DDD. I love him so much <333. I'm glad he did <33 :')). Because bro, again, how dare they 😭 xD. Anyway, Asher was great at his job today :'). It just doesn't always work out <3. And I'm sure Jerome was great at his job as well :)). I love him <33 🥰. Anyway, yeah :'DD. Even if I was getting bad second hand embarrassment, I just really enjoyed their scenes :D.

Shaun! AAAAHHHHHHH 😭😭😭😭💔💔❤️. I felt so bad for him, with all the emotions he's going through with glassman :'((. The whole situation, I mean. I do wish he would've left him alone, but not actually, seeing as it turned out to be something xD. Still, it was a bit obsessive lol. Anyway, I'm scared for next episode :((. Like, lowkey xdd. But also highkey lol, though I rarely use lowkey to mean literally lowkey lol. Mostly I just really hope Glassman can keep being a doctor and be happy with his life, and that him and Shaun's relationship isn't permanently damned </33 💔😭❤️ :'(. Shaun better be okay with keeping his distance a bit if he needs to though xd. After everything for a bit or with monitoring Glassman lol. Anyway, he was great at his job <3. I love him ❤️❤️ <3 :').

Glassman! My boyyy 😭😭😭💔. I really hope he's okay :'((. Like, I'm sure all of this sucks, but I just hope he ends up okay and can maybe still do surgeries. I'm not sure on that last part, but hopefully he can at least still work :'(. Since, presumably, at least it won't get worse :'). But yeah, again, I really hope he and Shaun are okay :((. Like relationship wise <33. And yeah, I just feel super bad for him xdd. He's been through enough lol. But seriously, he doesn't deserve this :'((. Poor guy <33. Hopefully he makes it through this 😭💔❤️. I mean, I don't necessarily thing he won't, but yk xD. I hope he can still live happily in the end :')). Anyway, he was great at this job this episode <33. Even with the mistakes :'). I love him <333.

Overall, I really enjoyed this episode! I thought it was great, and it had some really emotional moments :')). Good and bad xD. But yeah, mostly I just hope everything works out <3. For Morgan, for Shaun and Glassman, for the love triangle trio lol, and for Asher and Jerome :')). Oh, and for Andrews and Dalisay as well :)). The others too obviously, but they're not as pressing right now lol. I assume we'll mostly see Glassman's stuff next time, but eh, still <33. And I am scared, but excited for the next episode :)). Anyway, again, the cases were great this episode 😭❤️❤️. And I loved all the storylines :)). I'm glad at least Morgan's happy though, lol xD. And Andrews and Dalisay lol.

as my 18th birthday looms closer and changing my legal name is actually within reach ive been rethinking it a bit. right now i'm going with leonard yuri greenberg, which changes all 3 names.

leonard is actually originally from this steampunk text based choose your own adventure game, but i stuck with it because there are many men i look up to named leonard (mostly nimoy and cohen), it's pretty common for jewish men, and my birthname (victoria, i have like 50 followers and i doubt any of them are demented enough to care what it is) is also an antiquated, fairly rare victorian name that has a bunch of different nicknames.

my middle name from birth is an obscure italian name after my great grandmother, and i'm changing it to yuri instead. yuri is the birth name of my ultazeyde on my mom's side (the jewish side) and he changed his name to hugh around age 12 to assimilate better (parents were ukrainian + romanian jewish immigrants), but the judge made him keep yuri as a middle name. i think its very symbolic in a lot of ways, like that he had to change his name to fit in and i'm sort of doing the opposite, and it also still preserves a memory of a family member which is sort of what middle names are for in my family. i also just look up to him a lot and grew up hearing stories about him even though he died six months after i was born, and i think he'd generally be cool with me doing this if he was alive.

last name is also from my ultazeyde, changing it from my dad's last name which is irish. there's a lot of reasons here:

-my dads father was a terrible person and i don't feel any desire to carry on his legacy or whatever, but my ultazeyde was a cool guy and i don't mind carrying on THAT legacy

-i also generally am not in touch with my irish heritage or anything

-i AM in touch with my jewish heritage in that i was raised jewish, am very religious, and generally regard it as my ethnicity and people as well, so it'd be nice for my name to reflect that.

-my parents are probably getting divorced by this time next year and my mom is estranged from her birth parents and therefore will probably change hers to this as well

-it minimizes the ability to find information about my previous identity online, which is useful if i want to go stealth

-i like greenberg it's a nice name

however, i feel it'll be difficult to have my reasoning accepted for this name vs my first and middle name, especially as a freshly 18 year old, and getting my whole name change case rejected just for my last name would suck. also, while my mom gets it and also doesn't attach a ton of significance to last names my dad does and might get pissed over this, which i don't want to deal with. if he raises significant objections ill stick with the old one until i get married or have kids or whatever.

the first and middle name are getting changed no matter what, but i'm kind of wavering on if i want to go with leonard or not. the masculine versions of my birthname are fairly decent. victor i don't like because my childhood bully was named that and also i don't want people to think i named myself after an anime lmao. but vittore, victori/victore, vick, and victory are cool. main problem with them is the connection to my birth name potentially getting me deadnamed or making it easy to find my deadname, and the relative androgyny of these names compared to leonard.

i could also just pick a new name? leonard is good, but everybody always defaults to a more androgynous nickname of it and pronounces it wrong. that being said i am attached to it and it's pretty undeniably male on paper if not face to face. ive considered jack (jackie as a nickname cos i think it's sexy), joseph/yosef (favorite torah character), edward (was what i used as my like proto-trans male version of me name for a few months before actually asking people to call me a different name), friedrich, julian, asher, rashi (favorite historical figure), vincent, and a whole host of names based on trees and plants in the past.

my middle name i am pretty set on keeping as yuri. it achieves everything my birth name did except as a male version it's great. i might have made it my birth name if i had thought of it before i was already going by leonard, but people might assume i picked a japanese name (it is russian) and it's also a bit gender-neutral. the pronunciation is also difficult for people, it's oo-ree, not yew-ri. but i do feel like it doesn't match leonard super well idk.

i will probably stick with good ol leonard yuri greenberg it's just. hard to not doubt myself when i'm paying 400 dollars for this.

Stop Doubting Yourself - A Jordan Baker Imagine

Sum: Y/N, Jordan’s girlfriend, comforts and assures Jordan throughout all of his doubts and over analyzations on his QB1 position.

Imagine:

Jordan is an amazing person and I love him for that. He always looks out for me, he's caring, sweet, and a good-hearted person. He always looks out for others, which can sometimes be a curse in disguise.

Jordan is so selfless that he forgets to take care of himself.

I know in my heart that he’s an angel but he doesn’t see that.

I know deep inside he doubts himself and questions his worth, especially when it comes to football.

Jordan’s insecurities started coming to light when Spencer came to Beverly. The shift of Billy’s attention towards Spencer affected Jordan, more than anyone knew.

Billy was focused on getting Beverly High’s football team to its best potential but not being completely aware that his family needed him more than ever.

It all came crashing down when the Beverly squad was having a pool party at the Bakers.

Jordan and I were laying down on the pool lounge chairs. The tension between the boys was evident. The presence of Spencer ticked the boys off big time.

“You good babe?” I ask Jordan as I acknowledge Jordan evilly having his eyes on the Crenshaw boy.

Jordan’s eyes diverted to me as he was just eyeing Layla leaving the sleeping Asher to the beaming Spencer at the pool.

“Yeah. It's just this Spencer guy comes out of nowhere, destroying everything that I’ve built and now he’s flirting with Layla. It just seems like he’s not here with good intentions. Something just isn’t right about him,” Jordan rants to me as his eyes were glued to Spencer and the now smiling Layla. I reach over to intertwine my hand with Jordan’s big one.

His eyes leave the two by the pool and meet mine, staying this time. A smile forming on his face at the touch, but quickly faltering once again.

“First it was my dad, my home, and now it’s Layla. Like what is he going to take next?” Jordan huffs as he lays back down on the lounge chair.

I smile at him foolishly.

“Well, you don’t gotta worry about him taking me,” I cheekily smile, leaning over him. My face on top of his, inches away from his laying one.

An ear-to-ear toothy smile appears on his face followed by his adorable laughter.

His arm makes it to the end of my back, loosely placing it on my lower back.

l chuckle and lean into his lips giving him a quick peck.

He smiles and looks at me longingly with loving eyes.

I feel my cheeks flushing as his eyes stay put on my physique. I nervously break eye contact and he chuckles.

“You’re so beautiful,” He compliments as he places his hand on the side of my face, reconnecting our lips.

“You never fail to make me nervous. It’s like I’m meeting you all over again,” I mumble as my eyes deeply look into his deep brown ones.

He smiles and continues with his longing looks, not breaking eye contact.

“And you never fail to make me feel better. Like who’s Spencer?” Jordan jokes.

I playfully roll my eyes with a smile and lay back down on the lounge chair.

Jordan scoots closer to me and lays his head on my shoulder. As he does, I put my arm behind his neck, wrapping it around him and running my fingers through his soft hair.

Asher was still fast asleep, tanning in the sun. JJ was up to playing pool games with a couple other teammates. Spencer and Layla were chatting it up by the pool and a few others were swimming.

“I’m going to grab a couple waters, I’m quite thirsty. Do you want one?” Jordan asks as he lifts from his previous position.

“Yeah. Please,” I smile with a nod.

He smiles brightly at me and jogs off into his house.

I take in his adorableness as he walks into his house with a playful eye roll, he could be such a kid sometimes.

A couple minutes later he comes back outside with bottles of water in hand and a furious but hurt look on his face.

I instantly frown at the miserable look on his face.

I stand up and meet him midway through his walk towards our spot.

“What's wrong?” I ask with a worried expression.

I look up at him, having a perfect sight of his clenched jaw and furious facial expression.

Jordan’s eyes were everywhere but on mine. “Hey?” I try and console.

He subsequently looks down at me, having a displeased and angry look on his face.

“Talk to me,” I urge at him.

He lets out a huge sigh and looks down into my worried eyes.

“Come on. Let’s go inside,” I suggest as I start walking with him towards the back entrance of his home.

“No,” He says immediately as he stops us on our tracks. “My dad’s in there and I don’t want to see him right now,”

“Okay then let’s go to your room,” I beckoned.

He stays quiet, which I take as an opportunity to take him inside. I’m holding his hand, leading him to the room. We walk past his occupied parents and up the stairs, into his room.

I close the bedroom door behind him as we both stand in his room.

He puts the freshwater bottles down, puts his hand to his face, and starts pacing walking around the room.

“Come on. Let it out. What happened now?” I say as I break the silence.

“Guess what he said? Just guess what he said?” He angrily says, looking over at me as he paces around the room.

He didn't even give me a chance to respond as he was already speaking again.

“He said ‘I would not have recruited him if anybody on the squad had half of his potential’. That’s what he said Y/N.” Jordan says as his voice goes from angry and exploding to hurt and feeling betrayed.

He looked like he was about to cry.

My eyes soften to his change of voice and clear look of hurt.

I walked over to him, seeing how broken he was.

“Jordan,” I let out softly once I was face to face with him, placing my hand on the side of his face. “You know that’s not true,”

His eyes fall to the ground, not looking at me, breaking our eye contact.

My heart breaks at the sight of my boyfriend doubting himself.

“Come on Jordan,” I whisper slightly to him, lifting his face to meet me.

His eyes were like glass. They were glossy and filled with tears threatening to spill.

I immediately pulled him into a tight hug at the sight of him.

“It’s okay babe,” I console, holding him in my arms.

The sounds of his sniffling tore me apart.

I turn my face a bit and place my lips on his tear stained cheek.

“Come on,” I say as I pull away from our embrace. I go to wipe the tears off his face.

“You’re an amazing player Jordan! Don’t ever think otherwise! I don’t know what your dad meant by that but everyone at Beverly knows who our QB is and that's you! Don’t ever doubt your potential because you’re a great quarterback, on and off that field,” I boast.

“But y/n… what if it’s true? I heard it coming from his mouth. What if I’m just the quarterback because I’m the coach’s son? I’m not going to lie and say that it hasn’t come across my mind,” Jordan says in distress.

“Come on, Jordan. Okay let’s say that’s true, maybe you do have an advantage because you’re the coach’s son but that doesn’t change the fact that you’re a good ass player. Coach Baker knows that you can handle the responsibility and pressure of having that number one jersey. He’s not just going to give that to anyone. It’s you, Jordan. No one else,” I affirm to him in hopes that he’ll get it in his head.

“Okay,” He says with a look of belief, sending me a nod.

I smile at him knowing that he’s feeling a little better.

“You’re one helluva player, Jordan! You better see that because everybody else does. Anyone can say that you got the position because you’re the coach’s son but that doesn’t change the fact that you’re a great quarterback, J! Don’t let those thoughts get the best of you! Sure, Spencer got brought to the team but he doesn’t have an influence or interference with your ability and potential as a player. I hope you see that,” I say with a frown at the end.

Jordan’s eyes meet the floor once again, staying quiet in his thoughts.

He looks back up at me after a while with a nod.

“I’ll work on it, alright? I promise,” Jordan determinedly says to me.

A wide smile grows on my face. “Good! Because you deserve it! Be proud of yourself, J! Prove everyone wrong!” I encourage with a huge smile.

He reciprocates the smile, looking handsome as ever.

“Thank you for this, y/n! I appreciate it. I love you,” He blissfully says, sending me a kiss.

Jordan came to realize that what his girlfriend was telling him was true but it was still hard for him to accept. He still had that little voice of doubt and uncertainty within himself. But, every time he doubted himself, he recalled his girlfriend's kind and inspiring words. If someone as amazing as her believed it, then it must be true.

But even after this conversation that was had with Jordan, his place as quarterback was tested multiple times.

One of those times being at the College Recruit Event; District Combine.

Players from all around Los Angeles were being tested by their height, weight, strength, and speed. They were tried and measured, seen closely by the college scouts.

Jordan came in hot, he knew what he was bringing to the table, he was confident. As he should.

But was tested with extremity.

The tests were competitive and there was so much pressure in hopes of landing on a school’s scholarship list.

Those thoughts were coming back in causing Jordan to fall back. He started focusing on all the other players and not himself. But it was a rigorous event and it got Jordan overthinking and becoming nervous. It wasn’t helping that a Crenshaw player was coming at Jordan, tearing down Jordan’s wall.

He felt like he blew it and it was messing with his head.

After the event, he went with the one person he could count on to be there for him.

“I’m sure you did amazing Jordan. Don’t overthink it! If you did even just as half as I know what you could do then you already did more than most of those guys. Because you work extremely hard! It doesn’t matter what Chris and that other Crenshaw boy said. Who’s the one that got an invite? You!” I praise.

“Yeah I know but Chris outplayed me today! He didn’t even miss a catch. What he said about me, it just gets me thinking. What if it’s true? What if I just got the invite because my dad was in the NFL?” Jordan worriedly wonders.

I let out a sigh.

“Be confident in yourself! Know what you’re worth because you’re worth a lot. It doesn’t matter if your dad was in the NFL or if your dad is your coach. You’re you Jordan! I know it must be hard to believe but trust me. Trust yourself!” I beg. “I wish you could see yourself the way I see you, the way your dad sees you, the way your team sees you, and the way those recruiters saw you today!”

Jordan looks over at me taking in all my words.

A little smile peeking through his face.

“Gosh!” Jordan lets out. “You always to know what to say,”

“I only say the truth,” I smile as I get closer to him, opening my arms.

Jordan chuckles as I welcome him into my arms.

“You’re amazing Jordan! Never forget that!” I say into our hug.

“Okay.” He mumbles into my hair.

When Jordan found out that he and JJ had to fight for the QB spot, Jordan’s heart shattered.

How could Coach Montes take his position away?

Y/N, Billy, and Laura were all seated on the kitchen counter seats. Jordan came zooming into the kitchen with a stressful look on his face.

“How was your first day?” Laura asks her son.

“Fine,” Jordan replies as he goes to grab a drink from their fridge.

“What’s up with all these panicked texts I got about your new coach trying to take away your spot?” Billy inquires.

Jordan deeply lets out a sigh before he speaks.

“Montes has me and JJ going up against each other for the QB1 spot,” Jordan devastatingly states.

“JJ, who got his hand stuck in the vending machine JJ?” Billy surprisingly says.

Laura and I let out chuckles.

“It seems like you have nothing to worry about J. No offense to JJ but that spot is meant for you. You just got to prove it to her,” I say like it’s nothing.

“Exactly!” Billy says, patting my shoulder in thanks. “Come on. You know JJ’s a beast on the field. And he was a really good quarterback in junior high!” Jordan protests.

“Junior High,” Billy mocks, immediately letting out his laughs, not even trying to hide them.

“And you’re a really great quarterback who led his team to a championship,” Laura defends.

“Look, if JJ was better then, I would’ve started him,” Billy says, getting serious.

Jordan lightly scoffs and rolls his eyes.

“Oh, right. The fact that I’m your son had nothing to do with me starting,” Jordan sarcastically states.

Laura shakes her head with a smile on her face.

Billy looks at him like he’s insane.

“Do you think if Butler was my son, he’d be starting QB?” Billy asks, looking straight at his son. “You need to have a little bit more faith in yourself, son! You are Beverly’s quarterback. Everybody knows it! All you gotta do now is convince Montes!” Billy encouragingly says.

“Exactly what I’ve been telling him for years!” I exclaim.

“Okay. Okay.” Jordan smiles, getting the push he needed from his loved ones. “I will!”

“Well y/n and I have to catch up on homework. So we’ll see you two later,” Jordan boasts as he grabs onto my arms and starts tugging.

“Oh?!” I let out realizing Jordan’s plan. “Right.” “Homework already? It’s the first day of classes!” Laura interjects.

“Oh, you know… we’re seniors now so we’re getting loads of work now,” Jordan lies.

I shake my head at him and giggle.

“Alright well since you’re sneaking off to do homework I’ll be expecting all A’s from you!” Billy yells out at Jordan.

Jordan gives him a not so convincing nod before dragging us up the stairs.

My laugh echoes through Jordan’s room and we make it onto his bed.

“What? My homework is cuddling you,” Jordan slyly comments with a grin as he pulls me into his arms.

He lays my head on his chest and starts to roam his long fingers through my hair.

“See! I told you!” I sassily say to Jordan as I look up at him.

He playfully rolls his eyes at me.

“I know! Now that my dad’s coaching at Crenshaw, I’m seeing that. Thank you for believing me since sophomore year,” Jordan softly says to me.

I let out a chuckle.

“Of course. I always knew it. It’s time you finally see it too!” I smile standing up from his chest and leaning into him, crashing my lips into his.

He smiles through our interlocked lips.

“Well thanks again.” Jordan gracefully says.

I nod, sending him a couple of other pecks on his lips, chuckling.

“Anytime, babe,” I say, closing my eyes, pressing our lips with one another again.

“Kissing should be part of your homework too!” I tease in between our kisses.

“Yeah?” He mumbles deeply. “What else?”

I smile cheekily.

“I think you know, Baker.” I flirt with a smirk.

“Hmm?” Jordan says with a furrow of eyebrows. “I don’t think so... “ He says, teasingly, tracing his fingers down my neck and chest.

“Well then let's find out!” I reckon as I fall back into the bed with a top Jordan.

So I went to the aquarium with my male compatriot (XD) today and I started thinking about the Dad Batch, I’ve mentioned before how Tech in particular would love taking his babies to the aquarium and spending hours there and I have a few more thoughts excuse me.

Hunter: Mans is lugging a half dozen Huntlings in this cart/stroller thingy they rented there at the facility that costed an arm and a leg. And he is ready to get the heck out of there. All the people and the smells and the hot lights and his fussy babies; they make the rounds in 30 minutes or less. May or may not stop by the gift shop depending on how exhausted everybody is. May just have one of the Uncles pick the girls up something and he’ll Space Venmo them back. ‘Nuff said.

Wrecker: Loves the aquarium as much as his kiddos!!! He is such a fun dad!! Will sit them up on his shoulders so that they can see everything better and also when they are tired of walking. He doesn’t need to rent one of those strollers! Also, detour to the gift shop is a must!! They’re definitely picking out the cutest plushies. And of course getting snacks there at the little cafe is to be expected. <3

Tech: This brainy pops is reading every single fun fact there is, reading it aloud to his babies whether they understand it or not. He is taking the time to explain everything, taking many photos and saving all of the information on each species to later upload to his database. He very much looks forward to the trip because of how educational and how engaging it all is. Tech would critique the plushies at the gift shop, stating how they are not accurate to the species it is based off of or this one’s missing a certain stripe, etc etc. More than likely he will steer his children in the direction of the aquatic books on hand. And maybe grab a ball cap for himself.

Crosshair: Carries little Asher around on his shoulders as they quietly move from exhibit to exhibit. Asher is quietly marveling at all the wonders around him. Doesn’t miss a beat. Crosshair is relishing in his son’s wonder. It’s a relatively silent experience. Occasionally Crosshair will point something out to Asher, murmuring, “Look Ash, a cowfish.” and smile to himself when Asher makes a little sound of delight from above. Of course they pick a little something up from the gift shop. Probably a cute t-shirt for the little man, or maybe a space jellyfish lava lamp. <3

You know how I always say Crosshair watches his child(ren) like a hawk right well there is one (1) instance where Asher ventured off at the aquarium and it gave Crosshair a real scare. He felt really bad and was pretty sullen for the rest of the day because he felt like he didn’t do his job. He never told Dee this.

Of course the Ramser’ika was perfectly okay when Crosshair found him, staring up wide-eyed at the gigantic dome shark tank. He didn’t do it to be defiant, he’s just such a curious (and stealthy <3) kiddo and will sidle off if given the chance. But he never gets into any trouble. Still though, Crosshair was shaken.

As a teenager you spent a lot of your free time watching pretty much every rom-com that was out there, the thought of true love ignited a spark of hope in your heart. You loved the way that the characters on screen always were meant to be together, the way their love just seemed to be or else life isn't worth living.

Maybe your image of love was flawed and unrealistic. Maybe you always fell in love with the idea of a person rather than the person itself. Maybe your standards were too high and maybe that's why all your previous relationships didn't seem to work out.

And then you met him. Kinda ironic really, love, at first sight, was always your least favourite trope. But there he was, sitting alone at the table in the otherwise crowded cafeteria. His brown hair fell into his eyes while he played with the mashed potatoes on his plate, he was bopping his head to something. You took a big breath, collected all your courage that you didn't use growing up and sat down across from him.

The stranger looked up with furrowed eyebrows "S-sorry there isn't another free table." you stuttered and sent him a small, flustered smile. The boy took out an earbud "Sorry?" you started to blush, your eyes wide "Oh I- sorry I- was uhm... is it okay if I sit here?"

"Yeah yeah sure." the stranger answered and shot you a smile and gosh was that smile beautiful. If this was your way to die then so be it. "I'm Asher by the way."

"Y/N. Nice to meet you." you waved with three fingers.

After that Asher took you under his wings, introduced you to all his friends, took you to parties and most importantly helped to grow your self-confidence. You always knew who you were but with him, it was the first time where you could actually show off the real you, there wasn't a part of you that you had to hide to fit in.

Nevertheless, he wasn't your best friend. You two spent a lot of time together yes, but you didn't share a lot of secrets, your topics always being superficial. Yet, the crush on him only grew. The two of you were picture book perfect. Asher threw you into the water at the beach, screamed to lyrics in the car with you or even went shopping with you.

"Just this one party I promise," he whined one day, shoving more dresses in your chest. You huffed "Is this why you agreed to come thrifting with me? To get on my good side?" Asher smiled cheekily "Guilty. I know you don't know the people there but I really want you to go." he tried to persuade.

You looked up at him through your eyelashes, trying to hide the smirk on your lips. You liked to see him throw a little tantrum. "Fine. But you'll pay for my dress."

The host of the party seemed nice enough and you hoped to god that the guests were the same. LED Lights illuminated the living room in a dark purple. The music blaring so loud, that you could feel the beat in your heart. "Y/N this is my good buddy Charlie. Charlie this is Y/N one of the baddest people I know." Asher screamed over the music, one of his arms draped over your figure. The party just getting started as more people walked through the front door.

You gave Charlie a hug and smiled up at him. "Hi!"

"Hello." he smiled back and your breath got stuck in your throat for a good second. Suddenly Asher had competition for the prettiest smile in the world. The boy with the mischievous spark in his eye really challenged your rankings.

You didn't intend to spend the night practically glued to Charlies hip. Asher was nowhere to be found, probably smoking somewhere with his buddies and the two of you were just naturally drawn to each other. He goes to get a new drink and a minute later, without discussing it beforehand, you do the exact same thing. Or you go on the small balcony to get some fresh air and Charlie joins you a couple of minutes later, casually leaning against the railing next to you.

"I figured that I would find you out here." he nearly whispered into the night. "Yeah it seems like you've been stalking me the whole night." you teased with raised eyebrows, a slight smirk playing on your lips. Charlie's hand immediately covered his heart. "I would never! And there I was, thinking I had the honour of you stalking me."

"Alright, Teds. If it makes you happy yes of course I was chasing after your pretty ass." you winked and he let out a heartful laugh.

"Teds?" he asked.

You shrugged your shoulders and slid down the railing, your front, facing the glass doors. The party inside was raging, with people dancing, kissing, talking and laughing. Only the faint noise of the newest pop song carried its way out to you.

"You're wearing a shirt with many teddy bears on it. It only made sense."

You and Charlie spent the rest of the night outside, the conversation flowing naturally and if there was a quick silence it wasn't awkward at all. Lucky for you, the party was in the middle of the summer so you didn't mind that much that you forgot to bring a jacket outside.

After the party you and Charlie spent a lot of time together, going to museums, road trips, camping or even just hanging out in one of your apartments. Inert weeks he was your best friend and over the years of friendship, you started to develop feelings for the Canadian.

He had helped you calm down right before your first date with Asher, who finally had the guts to ask you out and picked up the pieces after you got broken up with. Asher's last words before he left, never leaving your mind: "Truthfully I think you're in love with someone else Y/N. You just haven't figured it out yet but I know. I look at you the way you look at them."

Several months later, on a trip with your family and Charlie, you realised that Asher was indeed telling you the truth and you had been slowly falling for someone else.

It was late evening, the stars started to creep up on the sky, while the sun sank lower and lower behind the trees, illuminating the world in a pretty blend of oranges and pinks. The group sat around a small fire that cracked every now and then, filling the air with warmth. Everybody was exhausted from the big hike. Trees rustled somewhere in the background. A soft melody caught you off guard, completely ripping you out of your own thoughts.

Charlie sat a couple of feet away from you, across from your sister and mother. He was playing his guitar with no special song in mind. He settled on a melody that you didn't seem to recognize but you didn't care. Charlie looked beautiful.

Over the last year, he grew out his hair, which was now in a loose bun in the crook of his neck, some stray hairs falling in his face. The warm light from the fire highlighted his features in the exact right way. His eyes sparkled with joy. Before he started to sing the song, he looked over at you and smiled. It was the same smile that haunted you since then. The one that made your heart beat faster, the one that still took your breath away, the thing you couldn't shake off and also the one thing you couldn't live without.

While you stared at Charlie during the duration of the song, your heart swelling at the sight of him. He did the same to your sister. His eyes memorising every crook of her face from her arched eyebrows down to the roundness of her lips.

It didn't surprise you at all. Growing up everybody either wanted to be her or be with her. She was naturally gorgeous with long, luscious hair and an amazing body. She had decent grades and was always nice to everybody. The embodiment of the girl next door. It was hard to build a reputation that wasn't ‘Sam’s little sister’.

Looking back, that was probably why you liked Asher's attention so much. It was the first time someone saw you for yourself.

But what did shock you was that eventually, the two became a couple. Looks-wise they fit perfectly together that much was true but you couldn't wrap your head around them when it came to personality. From your romcoms, you knew that opposites attract yet Sam and Charlie are more than opposites. Not to say that you didn't love your sister, you really did, that was the main reason why the news shocked you so much. He liked to travel the world, not to be tied to one place for a long time. He was spontaneous and carefree, always down for a new adventure or a new adrenaline kick. Sam on the other hand wanted to take over dad's business in her hometown where she already went to school and college. Ever since she was little, she dreamed of a big family that was gonna grow up in the house she grew up in. Sam didn't like leaving her little bubble, her days always planned down to the second.

Neither of them noticed your heart breaking a little more every time they kissed right in front of you or the longing looks you gave Charlie. Both tried to include you in their adventures, taking you to the cinema with them, to IKEA and Disneyland. Still, you couldn't shake the feeling that they weren't quite meant for each other. However, you kept your mouth shut just, always smiling their way, not mentioning that Charlie never went on Road Trips anymore or that Sam seemed to smile less.

“I think I want to marry her.”

You nearly spat out your drink, the fist in front of your mouth only holding back a little. The water dripped down your arm and onto the couch.

“What now?” you coughed and turned to the other person chilling at your apartment.

“You heard me right. My acting career is taking off and all the travelling made me realise that she is the one.” he smiled with a lopsided grin.

You furrowed your eyebrows, desperately trying to hide the hurt that flashed in your eyes. After trying, again and again, to get over Charlie you lost all hope. No other man even slightly compared to him, you tried to forget about him you really did. However, your heart believes that he was the man for you.

“Don’t the two of you want completely different things?” you switched into the best-friend mode, locking the jealous side away.

Now it was Charlie's turn to be confused, “What do you mean? We’ve been together for nearly two years now.”

“I just mean that she never expressed the desire to travel the world. She wants to have a big family and be a mom. Is she gonna travel to your jobs with you? Are you giving up your career to be at home with her? I just think there are so many things the two of you need to discuss before you take this step.” you expressed your concern while playing with the hem of the blanket covering you.

He stared at you for moments. Neither of you was speaking, the gears in his brain working in overload.

“Look I’m not saying that you shouldn't ask her to marry you. If that's what makes you happy, be happy. It's what I care about. I’m just saying you have a completely different view of the world.” you rambled, your eyes not meeting his anymore.

Was he mad? He normally spoke his thoughts out loud.

He lets out a sigh as he rubbed his hands over his face “Yes I know that you're right...but my gut is telling me that she's the one...” your heart cracked “and I couldn't forgive myself if I didn't ask, even if it ends up not working and you were right with your concerns. But knowing us, we will make it work. Compromise a lot, build a worldview together as a married couple.”

He smiled at you and your heartbeat quickened “I also kinda need your blessing.” he sheepishly said, slightly biting his lip.

You tried to keep your thoughts clear. “My blessing?”

Charlie nodded excitedly “Yes! I figured since you’re my best friend and she's also your sister I would ask you if you would be okay with that… I know we never asked if you're comfortable with us dating in the first place.”

“Oh, Teds," you whined, using the old nickname you had for him. "No need to ask me! As I said your happiness is my priority.” you smiled so wide that it hurt your cheeks, blinking rapidly to dissolve the tears that formed in your eyes.

He tackled you in a bone-crushing hug, placing wet and sloppy kisses all over your forehead. “Thank you. thank you. thank you! You don't know how much this means to me!”

Growing up, watching the Notebook, About Time, 10 things to hate about you, PS: I love you and many others, love always seemed inevitable, somehow it would work out. You would've never thought that you would be jealous of your sister's engagement. Who would have predicted that both sisters were gonna fall for the same guy, that one sister was happy while the other hated herself for yearning for him as well?

The 25-year-old version of you despised the 15-year-old version for loving these goddamn rooms, for believing in a soulmate, one true love, love for everyone but mostly for believing in an own happy ending.

Dumo meets Asher

Well it’s finally time! Dumo’s gonna meet his little namesake. This was requested by many people so of course, I had to write it! I hope you all enjoy. The SW world belongs to the ever amazing @lumosinlove.

After a few days with Rachel in the hospital, they were finally able to take Asher home. It still felt unreal to walk into their house with the baby carrier. They had a son.

The first week was a bit rough, getting used to waking up throughout the night for feedings or changings but they got a good routine going. Asher was really good about taking his bottles and that boy just loved to sleep.

Once they were settled, it was time to have Dumo and Celeste over to meet him. Sirius had been wanting to have him over since they got home, but Remus convinced him to wait until they had a couple days of their own. A text was sent to Dumo when Asher was two weeks old, a cute picture of him in a baby Lions onesie with a message asking them over to meet him..

No one on the team had met him yet, only pictures being sent through the group chat with just the first name. They hadn’t told anyone was middle name yet, that was a surprise. Remus knew that Sirius wanted Dumo to meet him before they officially brought him to meet everybody, which was understandable.

Sirius was getting Asher dressed as the doorbell rang, a giant smile spreading across his face, “Vous allez rencontrer votre aujourd'hui grand-papa, mon chou.” Asher gurgled at him causing Sirius to laugh, “I know, I know, you’re very excited.”

He could hear Remus letting them in downstairs as he picked the baby up, cradling him gently, “Let’s go, ma petite étoile.”

As he walked down the stairs, three pairs of eyes quickly swivelled up to him from the living room. Remus smiled, “Hey, Pads. We were just wondering when you two were going to make your grand entrance.”

“Sorry, someone decided it was time for a bottle. And then a changing.” Sirius said with a laugh as he walked down. He could see the way Celeste’s fingers twitched to reach for the baby already.

Dumo smiled warmly, “No need for apologies, we’ve been there, mon fils.” He didn’t have the same control as Celeste obviously, hands automatically reaching out. “Now let me see the little guest of honor.”

Laughing, Sirius gently handed him over, “Of course, I see where I stand now.” He muttered teasingly, sitting in the empty spot next to Dumo. His eyes flickered to Remus who was smiling. Sirius smiled right back, because honestly they hadn’t stopped. It still felt like the world’s best dream.

Celeste leaned over Dumo’s shoulder, “Oh, look at that face. Bonjour chérie! Tu es si précieux.” She cooed, her finger tracing over his chubby cheeks. “I love the name, Asher. It so suits him.”

Remus nodded as he watched them, “We chose it for the meaning. Blessed, Happy.” He explained with a soft smile.

“And the middle name?” She asked, resting her head on Dumo’s shoulder.

Remus’s eyes flickered to Sirius, who already seemed to have tears welling in his eyes. He gave him an encouraging nod, reaching over to grab his hand.

Letting out a shaky breath, Sirius nodded, “His middle name? C'est Pascal, après son grand-père.”

Dumo’s head quickly whipped up, eyes wide, “Après moi?” Celeste’s hand came to wipe a stray tear from his face as she sniffled.

Sirius let out a shaky laugh as the tears began to fall down his cheeks, “Of course. You showed me love and compassion at a time when I didn’t even know what it meant. You took care of me during some of my darkest times, and I don’t know what I would’ve done without you. You are my father in every way that counts, and there’s no better person in the world to name my son after.” His voice cracked, but he spoke with conviction.

Remus was so proud of him.

Tears fell steadily from his eyes as Dumo reached forward, pulling Sirius in for a hug, “Oh mon fils, I would do it all again in a heartbeat.”

Sirius leaned into him, resting his head on his shoulder, “Merci beaucoup, père.”

Asher let out a soft whine between them, his small fingers reaching out to grab at Dumo’s shirt. They broke apart, looking at the small being, “Well it seems like someone doesn’t like sharing the attention.” Sirius said, wiping at his face. Remus held out a box of tissues to them, laughing softly.

“Just like his dad then, non?” Dumo chuckled, watching as Asher wrapped his small hand around one of his fingers.

Sirius nudged him gently, giving him a teasing glare, “Just like his grand-père.”

Smiling softly, Dumo nodded, “It would appear so.”

i was tagged by @manonisamelon :) thank you!! i love to do these because it means i get to be extra and slap a filter on some screencaps. and also be opinionated. i was going to do this earlier on mobile, but tumblr started running Super slow and then didn’t save my draft, so here’s take two!

the movies / tv shows aren’t in any particular order, and some of them are kind of random...i evidently don’t watch that many things, so it took me a while to come up with ten LMAO. feel free to give your opinion about my favs in the replies...i’m interested to see if we have any in common or really don’t.

2.) layla keating - all american i don’t even watch all american anymore because of the way the writers and the fanbase treats her :,( unproblematic but still for whatever reason controversial fav. no one could ever get me to hate her. argue with the wall alternate: asher

3.) jane villanueva - jane the virgin i’ve been re-watching jane the virgin for the third time and i think she’s the only one who i’ve Never had any problems with liking. so sweet and motivated, and even though she’s made some bad decisions (coughcough love triangle coughcough), idc what anybody says, she’s a good mom who does not deserve slander ! alternate: rafael

4.) john murphy - the 100 the 100 was genuinely a terrible show in all honesty, but he + emori made it worth watching through till the end...kind of. he’s the second murdery mf with childhood trauma on this list, but he stopped trying to kill people, so he’s good now :) alternate: emori (let me into ur relationship pls)

5.) alexis rose - schitt’s creek i just think that she was one of the funniest and i love her <3 she literally always had good love interests too. every single relationship was interesting. wish she would’ve gotten her endgame but i like to think she’s doing big things on her own :) alternate: stevie, patrick, david

9.) lupe - plan b (2021) plan b doesn’t really have a fandom and i’m biased because *victoria moroles* but pls,,, i love her so much. my favorite line of the whole movie came from her - “glad to know you spend your free time thinking about what my pussy looks like, megan” - and i’ve watched the movie twice and cried Both Times at the ending scene with her dad. once again, not to be horny on main, but there is literally No way to deny i like girls too after this movie LMFAOOO alternate: sunny! she and lupe are pretty much equal here, but i’ll take any excuse to talk about victoria, lupe, or hayden hdbfjs

Reacting To: Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts (Season 3 Episode 2)

Episode Title: Code Word Milkshake

Spoiler Warning: Kindly proceed if you’ve already seen the episode or are able to handle spoilers

1. OMG! A K-pop song? That’s so cool! It sounds like BTS lol. And the song is pretty catchy too 🎵; “Dive into my ocean of love”. It’s such a bop! We see the mutes (even the Mod Frogs) fangirling HARD. But what animals are these guys supposed to be? Are they dolphins? But why do they have horns? And apparently abs as well:

2. Aww but the leader of the group, Hyun Soo (as revealed in the subtitles) soon gets paralyzed by a dart and is kidnapped after signing fan autographs. And of course, it’s the doing of Dr. Emilia as she’s seen testing a serum sample on Hyun Soo. Again, I’m impressed with her ability to be so stealthy. However, she’s finding it difficult in getting the right formula for the genetic serum since none of the samples she’s used so far has worked on the kidnapped mutes. BTW, Jamack talking to Hyun Soo is hilarious.

3. In Timbercat Village, Kipo is planning with HMUFA a mission to find Emilia, rescue their friends and retrieve Song’s research journal. Oh, did Asher get a haircut? If so, they look really nice.

4. Our boy, Benson wants Troy to come along because he feels safer when he’s around. How precious! I’m happy he gets to go on a mission with Kipo for the first time too. It’s nice to mix groups up sometimes. And it looks like it’s just gonna be a human/hybrid-only mission because the mutes won’t be able to handle Emilia’s sonic emitter. Dave is upset that he won’t be able to tag along with them. I think it’s a good thing to sit this one out because he does have a tendency to die during their missions lol.

5. They manage to hitch a ride on a couple of dragonfly mutes due to Kipo coming up with the codeword, “Milkshake” to keep situations calm. Random but okay. As they’re flying over the sea, they spot a ship, which definitely belongs to Emilia since we hear Zane asking Greta to turn on the sonic emitter as some mysterious sea creature was circling around them. Because the dragonflies are not immune to the sound, this causes them all to fall into the water

6. The group tries to climb over the ship to get a peek of the situation aboard and they can see the burrow humans enjoying their time there, splish-splashing in a giant pool paired with a crazy slide and everything.

7. Dave lets Lio and Roberto know that he wants to have a boys night out (BNO) with them. But it’s clear that he’s doing this because he still feels salty about not being included in the stealth mission. Roberto looks like he doesn’t want to go out but Lio is down to hangout with Dave-o lol.

8. Back on the Dr. Emilia’s ship, Kipo and gang try to find her lab but they almost got spotted by a blonde human girl, who apparently is able to hear Hyun Soo sing through the cafeteria vents and thus, wants him to sing for her. Kipo and Troy actually recognize her from their old burrow. She’s actually Hoag’s daugther, Doag! I can’t believe he named his daughter that lol. Anyways, they were all actually friendly with one another, so we shall see if she’s willing to help them or not. Doag really likes dancing and we see her dancing around to Hyun Soo’s singing. She then does a split and spots them. Well, she doesn’t look alarmed actually.

9. Meanwhile, Dave and Lio are playing cards but afterward, they went to check out the so-called “community bonding” session between Timbercats and the Umlaut snakes. At first, it seems like they are having a huge argument but they’re actually just writing a song and having a couple of debates. It’s song-break time. This time, the song is called ‘Friendship Alliance’. How fitting. After the performance, Lio says he wants to go to bed but Dave isn’t done yet and wants him to check out his secret stash of explosion berry cola.

10. Doag explains to the group that Dr. Emilia has been treating them nicely so far but they want her to know the truth about Emilia who has been trying to kill Kipo since she was a baby. Plus, according to Troy (and Benson from earlier on), she didn’t eat his Benson’s pancakes. Troy is way more upset about the part about the pancakes, which of course he has to be since it’s his boo’s pancakes. But my goodness, Doag’s voice is like nails on the chalkboard. Don’t you agree?

11. I think it’s hard for them to convince her that Dr. Emilia is a bad person, especially since they don’t have any real evidence to show. Emilia is like a savior to these humans. Fortunately, Doag wants to help them rescue Boom-Boom, Jamack, Camille and Hyun Soo regardless.

12. She takes them to Dr. Emilia’s lab, which isn’t very hidden like they said lol. The door’s locked but Troy, the skilled magician was able to pick the lock no problem. Benson is impressed and he actually addressed him as his boyfriend! Cute!

13. They enter the lab and we see all the kidnapped mutes trapped in their individual mute-proof cells. Aww the way Jamack called Kipo, Burrow Girl was so sweet. He has come a really long way with her since Season 1 huh? I don’t know what’s up with Boom-Boom but she(?) doesn’t look too good, almost unhinged. So, Hyun Soo is known as a Dolphicon! I guess that’s short for Dolphin and Unicorn. That’s explains the horn. I actually like the name “Wall Siren” for him as well. Despite only speaking in Korean, Hyun Soo does seem to understand English when Doag asks him “who are you?”. I feel like the introduction of Hyun Soo is like paying homage to Kipo’s animation studio, Studio Mir, which is in fact South Korean.

14. Kipo proceeds to then break them out of their cells. Doag declares she’s going to help them escape. I actually hope there’s a chance that she would be part of Kipo’s group officially. She seems cool, mostly lol. Wolf also finds Song’s research journal but before they could make their escape, the traumatized Boom-Boom looks at the needles Dr. Emilia has been using on her, freaks out and drops her nectar bombs on them, which causes the whole lab to explode. Boom-Boom needs therapy for sure. Ughh…Wolf also accidentally drops the journal and leaves it behind the lab. That book is probably destroyed.

15. Back at Timbercat village, I assume Lio had already drank the cola before he is super hyped. Yumyan also joins in on their shenanigans and he gives them the idea to steal Molly’s axe and put it in an axe bush (is that what Yumyan said?). Also, is this supposed to be a pun or something?

16. Doag puts Hyun Soo in their getaway boat but it’s weird since he’s a dolphin and can just swim in the water instead lol. They’re supposed to leave now but Kipo wants to face Emilia now. I say she’s making a bad decision here. Dr. Emilia then arrive with Greta and Zane but Wolf takes out the latter two easily. The rest of the humans come out to the deck to see what the ruckus is all about and Emilia tries to play coy and innocent with them.

17. Hoag notices that his daughter isn’t around. Our heroes try to explain to the humans that Dr. Emilia is the bad guy; They told about how Song is the Mega Monkey and how she got her to attack and destroy their home back in Season 1. And they explain that she mind-controlled Song to kill her own daughter.

18.The humans are reluctant to believe them because it does sound very farfetched. But c’mon…they should know by know that Las Vistas is a messed up place; Anything can happen. Also, don’t they remember the Mega Monkey saving them from getting gilded in Season 2. Suddenly, Hoag makes an attempt to paralyze Kipo with one of the darts but she quickly reacts and knocks him out. The humans see this and they get mad at her. Eventually, Kipo and the others make their escape. Finally.

19. Back to Lio and Dave. We find out towards the end that Molly actually killed Dave 5 times for the stunt he pulled on her lol. Anyways, the both of them are glad to have this bonding session with one another since Kipo isn’t around.

20. Our heroes reach land but Doag wants to go back because she knows her dad is worried sick about her. And so, Hyun Soo and I guess the rest of his groupmates are bringing her back there. Aww, she should’ve stayed but I understand why she wants to go back to the ship. But to be honest, somebody should’ve thought to give her a communicator or a walkie-talkie or something because at least they can know what Dr. Emilia’s next move is. Perhaps they don’t really have to think too much into it since the journals has been decimated and all…or is it?

21. Wolf, I hope you’re happy you dropped the journal lol. Dr. Emilia figures out that Kipo is X. Wait, I’m trying to remember if there any mention of X in the previous episodes. Anyways, I wonder what she’s going to do with the fur Kipo left during their last confrontation. I guess since Kipo is a human who also has the DNA of apex predators, Emilia is going to play with her recombinant DNA and figure out a way to reverse the effects of the mute DNA so that only the normal DNA will be present? I dunno….

22. Last note/tiny bit of criticism: Is it just me or do you guys sometimes think that some of the character designs look a little wonky in this episode? Sometimes, I felt like Kipo, Benson and even Troy look a little off in some frames. Anyways, that’s the end of my review of episode 2. Stay tuned tomorrow for my review of episode 3.
