Sacrum Caedis, the Living Saint. Famed for her actions during the Crisis of Elysia, Saint Sacrum is seen by many as the living incarnation of Saint Lavendula, the ancient hero who sealed away a powerful demon lord.
Sacrum is yet another NPC for my ongoing Pathfinder campaign. She was originally designed by my better half, @bucketfullofgoblins, and is an absolute girlboss!!
Spent a bit of time doing this study. I think it's reflections that really sell armour as feeling more real, even if they're just scribbles. All reflections. everywhere. I've gotta incorporate that more into my non-study work.
Anyway, what do you guys think?
I got to draw for theoctopigeon on ig this year, and it's been a blast
I just wanted to do a simpler piece this time around, just chilling, then 12h30mins later we're here, and my simple plan didn't really work
Thank you so so much to the wonderful @leidensygdom and the secret satan mod team for organising, this event is such a highlight of the season, GO BUY THEM A KO-FI THEY DESERVE IT
"My definition of butch involves chivalry. I want to be courageous, gallant, to show the highest respect for a woman. I think of an idealized knighthood, where such characteristics are valued and groomed. I would protect my lover from an enemy, risk physical harm."
A Beautiful Creature by Karleen Pendleton Jiménez, in Persistence: Still butch and femme (p. 46)
