Tomorrow I’ve got an assessment class (with real life paying customers!!) and if I pass, starting next week, I will officially be an archery instructor! 😳

So, in that vein… here’s a scenario that would never happen:

The entire Gallagher Milkovich Fisher Ball clan go for an archery taster day…

Who’s good at it? Who’s awful? Who’s really into it, but still super bad? Who is a sore loser? Does anyone throw a hissy fit and storm out? Does anyone break the club rules and fuck about so much they get benched? And why is it Lip? lol

good at it: ian. the dude prides himself on being a sharpshooter and having impeccable aim and this has somehow translated into archery as well! no one understands how, possibly not even him, but he still struts away like he's hot shit.

awful at it: kev. he's so bad and looks like such a big goof while he's at it! still has the best time cheering/egging everyone on. giving shoulder claps and ass slaps any chance he gets.

really into it but still terrible: debbie and liam. i feel like they'd both have the most fun and silly time with it. at the end of it making it a game of "who can be the worst at this" and giggle at how off their arrows end up from the target! they take a bunch of selfies laughing and pointing at their terrible aim!

sore loser: lip. hehe i hear you! but i also think he would get in such a heated competition with ian and come out pissy about the fact that his little brother beat him.

threw a hissy fit and stormed out: mickey. he's good with a gun. he rivals ian in skill and aim. so why thE FUCK CAN'T HE GET THE LITTLE ARROW SHITS TO LAND IN THE BULLSEYE? THIS GAME IS FUCKING RIGGED, IAN! FUCK YOU! *kicks over the arrow holder*

broke club rules and got benched: carl. that boy is not a cop. he let that shit go so quickly, i just know it. and deep down he's still got that rebellious spirit that would get him into all sorts of trouble. i fully see him whipping arrows around and poking people with them until he gets sat down.

This morning's trip to West Horsley Place AKA Button House from BBC Ghosts 👻 Was so much fun, and it was a 'Family and Fans' day, so they'd really gone to town with all the Ghosts theming - so many props, signs to remind you which major scenes took place in that room, a whole room where you could just sit and watch the series on a big screen, and even a chance to do some archery, in honour of Pat 🎯 And it was AMAZING seeing so many other people, of all ages, dressed up for the day. We saw at least one of every ghost (except Humphrey), which was awesome ❤️

🍀 - What originally inspired the OC?

I had a lot of Audrey and Thneedville headcanons back then in 2012 that I was just keeping to myself, and I fantasized for a while about sharing them through an Audrey askblog since her character was like a blank slate to me and also because I thought she was so cute. And eventually I did create her askblog, with encouragement from Gentleman Onceler's mod. That was always the main goal for her askblog, just to put my headcanons out there somewhere, it was fun for me and I didn't care that it barely got any attention. I loved being niche!

🎯 -What do they do best?

Audrey's a seasoned zombie slayer! >:3 She has amazing dexterity and she has excellent aim in archery. But notice how zombie slaying isn't listed under "What do they love to do?" [link] ...it means she's only good at it because she has to be, in order to protect others.

🎓 - How long have you had the OC?

I've had her since September 2012! September 16, 2012 is when I created her first blog, and I chose Sept 16 to be her birthday, too.

🌺- Do they have any love interest(s)?

At this point in time in her RPs she's only told 3 people in her life so far but she's in a situation/dilemmaship with a villain Once-ler oops [link] 🤫

✨- How did you come up with the OC’s name?

According to my research, it is an archaic form of the name Himiko, which means "noble lady." A friend of mine pointed out that Fi is not a sound that exists in modern Japanese; this suits me just fine as she is from an original setting based on ancient Japan.

🌼 - How old are they? (Or approximate age range)

Fimeko is a little older than Kotone. Neither of them know their real ages, but to actually answer your question, 21-23 at the start of the story.

🌺- Do they have any love interest(s)?

Fimeko's sort-of-husband Naranbaatar. She is a slave in the court of a nomad warlord and he one of his soldiers; Naranbaatar helps her take control of the camp. A real wife guy. They never formally marry but she declares him to be her husband afterward which is good enough.

🍕 - What is their favorite food?

I've been meaning to make up food lore for the Shattered Kingdoms so here we go. There are a number of grains eaten throughout the land that come in the seven colors of the rainbow. The blue one resembles rice and the yellow one resembles millet. They can be mixed together to make a gummy green dough which is rolled out and sliced into noodles. Fimeko enjoys a soup made with peppers native to the plains, bone broth, and these rough, handcut noodles.

💼 - What do they do for a living?

Fimeko was originally a musician. She has since broken her koto and become a warlord.

🎹 - Do they have any hobbies?

Now that she's freed herself, Fimeko is taking up more traditionally masculine hobbies like horse archery and sowrdsmanship, because she believes violence is the answer. She still enjoys music, but has banned the koto from her court.

The thing she is unfortunately most talented at is playing the koto, which she hates. She loves to do violence and her husband.

❤️ - What is one of your OC’s best memories?

If you asked her she would say it's beating Lord Bakuto to death with her koto, but in her heart it's the first day she and Naranbaatar stole a kiss in private behind the lord's tent.

✂️ - What is one of your OC’s worst memories?

In her youth before she learned to play well, she would be punished frequently, often through beatings with a switch. Bakuto did not want her hands harmed so usually the strikes targeted her legs and feet, as one can play the koto sitting down. (sometime after she got good enough that punishments were infrequent, she was made to play standing)

🧊 - Is their current design the first one?

Yes, sorta. When creating her I paid little attention to her outfit; you, chesca, designed that, as well as her makeup

🍀 - What originally inspired the OC?

Reading about Queen Himiko, one of Japan's legendary rulers (according to China. They may or may not have been talking about Empress Jingu). She was allegedly a sorceress who came to the throne through manipulation and assassination, surrounded herself with female attendants, save for one man, who fed and bathed her. She is associated with fire in a lot of modern pop culture that features her.

🌂 - What genre do they belong in?

Water Maiden is a high fantasy but it dips its toes into political fantasy. She would do well in either.

💚 - What is your OC’s gender identity and sexuality?

Genderwise, cis. For sexuality, I can only say that she likes men. I will have to play with her more to see if she also likes women romantically.

🙌 - How many sibling does your OC have?

None that she knows of.

🍎 - What is the OC’s relationship w/their parents like?

Fimeko does not remember her father. Her mother is a person she cared about but rarely saw due to their situation; two slaves with different duties, kept in separate quarters. Her mother died when she was very young.

🧠 - What do you like most about the OC?

I like the arc I have planned for her, of going from a person with nothing to becoming a dominant power in the setting, the old nobody to nightmare route.

✏️ - How often do you draw/write about the OC?

I have not written very much about her in the last little while, other than revising her origin story a couple years ago. But Water Maiden is always on my mind.

💎 - Do you ever see yourself killing off the OC?

She is probably not going to outlive the novel, heh.

💀 - Does your OC have any phobias?

No but she is triggered by koto music.

🍩 -Who is your OC’s arch-nemesis or rival?

Kotone, the protagonist of the novel. They haven't met yet, but sparks will fly. In the non-sexy way. Probably. They were designed to be foils of each other, a blue water girl and a red fire girl, one sad and the other wrathful, strong reasons to hate the world but very different reactions to their respective situations.

I wanna say I came up with Water Maiden in 2016, so 8 years.

🍥 - What age were you when you created the OC?

I was most likely 23. I actually came up with the core water maiden concepts about a week before my 23rd birthday but fimeko came about a month after.

Each week I write an abstract aesthetic description of one of the clones, I describe a date with a clone, or I make a moodboard. Using the poll, guess who I am talking about.

Week 48- Date with a Clone❤️🖤 🪻🌳Garden Center🪴🌷: A carefully planned bit of landscape, the scent of potting soil and green in the air, cool leaves, purple flowers that weren’t part of the original plan. One look into your excited, sparkling eyes he begins to redraw the plans.

Week 47- Date with a Clone❤️🖤 🍎🫑Farmer’s Market🍓🥦Wandering the open air market, hand in hand, searching for the freshest produce, eating some of your selections as you shop instead of lunch. He is particular about both the fruits and vegetables he helps you choose and about the bouquet of daisies he buys for you.

Week 46- Date with a Clone❤️🖤 🎡🎈 Evening at the Fair🎈🎡:In the descending twilight, bright lights and colors, sounds of bells and music. Barkers calling from all around, the smell of funnel cakes in the air. A giant bear won for you, and his favorite thing is the Ferris Wheel.

Week 45- Date with a Clone❤️🖤 🌺🌸Botanical Gardens🌼: Rich greens interspersed with bright pops of color and scent, the scent of earth and flowers, and growing things. Walking paths together, exploring the variety. You the flowers, he the creatures among the foliage.

Week 44- Date with a Clone❤️🖤 🍗⚔️Day at the Renaissance Faire (Take 3)🎯🍺: Pub crawl, knife throw, birds of prey show, the perfect scented oil, and a parasol for his lady.

Week 43- Date with a Clone❤️🖤 🍗⚔️Day at the Renaissance Faire (Take 2)🎯🍺: Tomato torment, archery, people watching, him keeping you in his sight as the two of you wander the booths, a mead tasting, and a crown and rose for his queen.

Week 42- Date with a Clone❤️🖤 🍗⚔️Day at the Renaissance Faire🎯🍺: Cheering your knight to victory, laughing at the comedy shows, singing in the "tavern" to the drinking songs, axe throwing, turkey legs and beer, flower crowns, and a maypole dance.

Week 41- Date with a Clone❤️🖤 📷🏙️Sight Seeing in the city🌆🍸: His hand on your lower back as you weave through the crowds, his voice low in your ear with his random commentary forcing laughs from you, a museum before noon, a cafe lunch, afternoon shopping between sights, a twilight rooftop dinner.

Week 40- Date with a Clone❤️🖤 ✨Beach Sunset✨: Waves crashing over your bare feet in the sand, a strong arm around you as you watch the colors shift, the last of the sun's light glimmering on the liquid horizon. Driftwood fire, a shared blanket, sticky sweet marshmallows, and family gathered around.

Week 39- Date with a Clone🌝 ✨Stargazing✨: Night blooming flowers on a gentle breeze, the galaxy unfurled in the velvet expanse above, a warm blanket between you and the soft grass, fingers laced together, moonlight reflected in his eyes, as you spend the night watching the stars move through the sky.

Week 38- Date with a Clone❄️ ❄️Snowed In❄️: The power whined as it went out, he gathers blankets and pillows and builds a blanket fort then beckons you inside. It will keep both of you warmer. You crawl inside and snuggle up to him, eventually falling asleep to the sound of his voice.

Week 37- Date with a Clone💌 The Valentine : Notes tucked into odd places, your favorite flower and a box of chocolates, roof top reservations on a beautiful night. Reservations overbooked, take out noodles for dinner by candlelight with chocolates for desert.

Week 36- Date with a Clone💙 The Non-Date : You cancelled, going out was not in the cards today. His voice carried sadness when he said he understood. A text message-I’m here, Comfort food brought and set aside for later, Laying on the couch with your head on his lap while he strokes your hair in silence.

Week 36- Date with a Clone🍿 Movie Theater -His arm around you, buttery popcorn, sweet chocolate, light from the screen flickering across his face, his fingers laced through yours and the occasional brush of a kiss to the back of your hand.

Week 35- Date with a Clone🎂 Happy Birthday! Candlelight on a cake made with help from a brother, your favorite ice cream, brightly colored balloons, “Blow out your candles and make a wish, Cyare. Make sure it’s a good one,”

Week 34- Date with a Clone❄️ Snowed In Snuggle Date: Fluffy blankets, hot chocolate, slow kisses, tickles, soft touches, giggles, and your favorite holofilm.

Week 33- Date with a Clone⛸️ Ice Skating in the Park: Holding gloved hands while you circle the rink, warm kisses and cold cheeks, warm cafe and hot drinks, his arm around you, and a borrowed scarf that smells like him.

Week 32- Date with a Clone🥂 Countdown to Midnight: Arms holding you tight while dancing, a charming smile, to the rooftop in time for the countdown, champagne, fireworks, and a midnight kiss.

Week 31- Date with a Clone🎁 Gift Exchange: Crackling fire, hot toddies, twinkling lights, slow passionate kisses, and a small box tied with a silvery bow.

Week 30- Date with a Clone❄️ Cookie Baking: Cozy kitchen, cheerful music, laughter, flour streaked on cheeks, colorful icing, sprinkles, chocolate chips and kisses.

Week 29- Date with a Clone❄️ Decorating for Life Day : Holiday Music, mulled wine, pauses to slow dance together, kisses under just opened mistletoe, "tangled" in tree lights, and a tinsel crown.

Week 28- Date with a Clone❄️ "Life Day Tree"-Sharp scent of pine, crunching leaves underfoot, quiet laughter, fingers intwined, rich hot chocolate, first snowfall, and a perfectly shaped tree.

Week 27- Date with a Clone🍂 Preparing for Friendsgiving- Aprons, instrumental music playing quietly in the back ground, precise measurements, flour covered hands, spices and fresh bread, sweet kisses, a bouquet of poppies.

Week 26- Date with a Clone🍂 Fall Market- Early morning twilight easing into bright sunlight, hot cups of caf, piles of fresh fruit and vegetables, he will not let you carry the basket, warm kiss on cool cheeks, orange mums.

Week 25- Date with a Clone🍂 A fall walk in the woods- Vibrant colors, leaves crunching underfoot, crisp air, your hand in his, a picnic in a clearing, hot chocolate in a thermos, and a perfect crimson leaf.

Week 24- Date with a Clone🎃 🎃👻🐈‍⬛HALLOWEEN NIGHT! A witch and your reluctant black cat (headband you stuck on his head) in his blacks, pretending to sulk, but giving the kiddos a mischievous smirk behind you as he slips them extra candy. Kisses that taste of pilfered candy and a dark purple dahlia.🐈‍⬛👻🎃

Week 23- Date with a Clone🎃 🎃🐈‍⬛HALLOWEEN PARTY!! Matching Vampire costumes, dancing to "The Monster Mash", cherry jello shots, a blood red rose tucked into your hair. 🐈‍⬛🎃

Week 22- Date with a Clone🎃 👻A Creepy Season night in! Red and Orange Chrysanthemums, pumpkin carving, popcorn and hard cider, horror movies snuggled on the couch.

Week 23- Date with a Clone🎃 Halloween Costume Shopping! Coordinating costumes discussed over caf and breakfast. Dressing room fashion show. A "Black Velvet"* rose.

Week 22- Date with a Clone🍂 Autumn Festival! Cider and playing in the corn maze, apple picking, sunflowers, and a sunset hayride.

Week 21- Date with a Clone☕ Cold and rainy day in a cozy cafe, sipping hot beverages, sitting close with quiet conversation, a tiny potted succulent.

Week 20- Date with a Clone🧺 A cala lily, a picnic on a hill, watching the sun set and star gazing with endless conversation.

Week 19-Date with a Clone🌹 A red rose, a fancy dinner, the walk home interrupted by impromptu splashing in fountains in a square, trying not to laugh as you run from the Corries.
