It was 40 degrees Celsius today. So we stayed huddled in the one air conditioned room instead of packing or cleaning, and I experimented with the "zine" layout. But I made a thing, and I'm inflicting it on you.

Disclaimer: I'm not a therapist. But as someone with crappy mental health, I am sick to death of the happy fluffy mental health discussions. So here you go:

This is VERY rudimentary, and when I have time I figure I'll redo the design. But I wanted to test the print layout, and I needed images to do that, and this is the result.

I sketched and inked all of the illustrations in one day, then scanned them and poked at them in GIMP.

If anyone wants, I'll try to put up a printable PDF at some point, but we ARE trying to prepare for a move rn.

HAPPY 7th ANNIVERSARY to 🥳🎉EL'S ALOLAN ADVENTURES!!!🎉🎊

Can you believe it's been 7 years already? Seven whole years... And I got to meet SO many wonderful people thanks to this comic and gained SO much experience from it, especially through the Comic Dub I recorded, directed and published last year!

No really, it's incredible to think how much of an influence this fancomic had on my life in every aspect and I am incredibly grateful for how much it helped me grow, both as an artist and a person, and how I got to build a wonderful community of both fans and friends through it over the years! 🥹🥰💖💕 Originally I wanted to plan a Livestream for today and draw something a bit more extravagant, but unfortunately like many others I'm currently sick with a harsh whooping cough 🤧😷😔
