literally the most profound conference in my life so far is happening in like 2 days and it might as well not even be happening the way im acting!!!!!

#its called. i cant get myself to fucking move disease. like its SO sad bc of the 2 conferences we go to this is the one thats like. tesscore #u kno!!!! like its all abt. art!!! andpoetry!!! and community! and. irs more than that but its tmi the Point Is this is 10000% up my alley #and as a returner im gonna like. know things better and see it from a new perspective w the experience ive gained and 😔 im j’ust. scared i #think. like im so out of my social / self care comfort zones at these things and flying freaks me the fuck out and. im nervous about...#Dynamic’s and crises and like trying toprocess whatever this is abt to unfurl fr me while also having to do homework and shit. like the #litcjeral audacity. anyways hope this doesnt awaken anything in me but also i so desperately do. i so desperately need this to reset my #whole way of seeing and to light a path for me im just scared to reach for it and im unsteady abt myself in a lot of ways i should b steady #aht by now and. And.Poetry, why? (Spanish)

Muchos me preguntaron “y tu escribes?” y yo extrañada respondía al principio con “Eeeh si”, luego caí en cuenta que por primera vez me estaba auto considerando “escritora”, “poeta”.

Llegar a esa consciencia de que soy escritora me tomó años, por mas bonito y simple que se visualiza en mi biografía de @and.poetry y la de mi cuenta personal de instagram @n_ylopez.

Por qué?… Yo siempre usaba seudónimos. Escribo desde que recuerdo, tal vez mas seriamente desde los 11 años. Historias largas (una vez llegue a 200 paginas -era mucho para una niña de 13 años de ese “entonces”- de una historia que vio la papelera de reciclaje en un periodo de depresión), también historias cortas, frases aquí y allá, poemas, cartas, diarios…Tuve un sin números de blogs bajo seudónimos que quedaron olvidados junto con sus contraseñas.

Solía pasar largas horas creando perfiles para personajes en un juego de rol (RPG) ambientado en el escenario de Harry Potter. Solía llevar varias vidas (una por cada personaje) ahi, detrás del monitor, bajo mis seudónimos que me cuidaban de la critica del mundo que de todas formas recibía por una u otra razón.

Y hace un mes… Nació @and.poetry, cuya historia y razón es tan larga como la vida de cada uno de mis personajes que hoy viven a medias en mi cerebro y que algún día lograré recuperar.

@and.poetry nació para volver a escribir a diario; primero comencé estableciendo una meta personal de escribir en mi agenda/diario todos los días, luego me animé a crear una cuenta de instagram, que pretendía también solo dejar en el anonimato… Les cuento, como a los tres días dije “Me cansé” le diré a todo el mundo, al que le guste lo verá y al que no, pues respetaré para que me respeten (no siempre funciona pero es algo).

Pero @and.poetry no se quedaba ahí, no se quedaba en una fuente de pegar poesía que pocos entienden o entienden a su manera (con toda razón, el arte esta para algo); esa cuenta, mi bebé, quería hablar, quiere hablar de temas incomodos, de salud mental. Este proyecto tiene un mensaje, que es un millón de mensajes.

Todos estamos conectados y ninguno esta exento de atravesar en algún momento de su vida por una situación difícil que involucre su salud emocional. Saliendo a luz y hablando de esto podemos ayudar a eliminar un poco el estigma que rodea estos temas. Con and.poetry utilizo lo que puedo de mi creatividad para enviar varios mensajes sobre este tema y trato de enviarle las palabras mas positivas que pueda.
