bunny has a lottt of hobbies. she's restless, we all know this - she's a bouncy girlie. she loves yoga and pilates - but she also loves sports where she can do her zoomies!! she grew up playing soccer, but she always went for goalie because she can jump! she prolly outgrew that when she was in middle school because people were getting a lot taller than her. kook!bunny def grew up doing ballet .

unsurprisingly, she loves to cook. salads and trailmix are her favorite snacks. fruit especially - she prefers that over candy. probably plays some sort of instrument - piano or violin. she never really wants to practice though. she also enjoys gardening! she has this little patch where she plants tulips or vegetables.

she loves video games- but only super calm ones. her favorites are animal crossing and stardew valley (she marries alex or haley argue with the wall). she mighttt force rafe to play minecraft with her sometimes too.

nooow pup. pup also loves gardening, but she has trouble not getting super dirty. she doesn't ever wear gloves or use tools -- she thinks her hands are good enough-- so she always comes out of her little garden by the chateau with dirt under her short fingernails and hair messy. somehow, she gets dirt everywhere on her and john b has to give her a bath.

she loves making jewelry!! all those little friendship bracelets jonbee and jayj wear? she made those! she loves making little beaded bracelets and friendship ones. she definitely uses that to pass the time.

we already went through this but quilting!! she loves to make stuff out of jonbee's old clothes.

she also loves to play in water!! jayj and jonbee always make sure to set up a lot of sprinklers for her in the spring and summer so she can run through them and cool off. that obvi also means swimming! she's not very good at it, but she'll always want to go out for a swim with the boys. jonbee will make sure to give her some arm floaties though.

kitty!! she loooves doing her nails. her friends will always ask her to do theirs. she has super long claws that you know would poke out an eye. she'll mostly do them in black, but sometimes there will be a cute little print on it.

i can imagine that she rollerblades ?? maybe she does skateboarding too. she barely likes doing sports ofc, but these are ones she'll be on board for. literally. hehe.

she likes to collect stuff. but not normal collecting stuff- she'll dry out plants and put them in pots, thrift old DVDs and CDs. most her collections are her stupid little rocks + shells + dirty coins + sea glass. but she'll never put them on display, she buries them in her room in a little corner.

lamby grew up suuuper religious so she's got all those super feminine hobbies that got burned into her brain.

like puppy, she quilts. but it always has to be perfect or else she hates it. perfect stitching, perfect designs, everything (again i already wrote about this)

lamb also bakes, pies and cakes and cupcakes, all the sort. whenever a new neighbor moves in, she always brings over some sort of baked good to them.

she loves to scrapbook! she has books and books on her shelf of different trips she's done with pope. even if it's just a day at the beach, she scrapbooks it all! she has this little camera she takes pictures with too.

we all know and love foxy. she's an icon.

she works in a library, so that means she reads at least two books a week. she loves filmmaking and watching her favorite movies, and just like kitten, she has a DVD collection. it's a lot bigger than her's since she's been collecting since she was super young, filling at least half a bookshelf.

just like bunny, she loves to game. but uuum. not cozy gaming. she likes GTA, resident evil, and hollow knight. she also totally gets on roblox sometimes to bully kids.

A blast from your past comes back.

You pulled the blanket closer to your body missing Bucky's warmth, the smell of his cologne was embedded in your small apartment. You smiled at the realization that you have been having someone who truly cared for you around. You could hear him humming the lyrics to Beyonces Kitty Kat, he had been enamored by the song since he heard you sing it in the car.

A firm knock on the door pulled you out of the trance of his terrible vocals. It also piqued his interest because just like the music was gone, the apartment was dead silent.

"Was that the door Doll?" His head peaked through the bathroom door, eyebrow quirked but his face was soft.

"I'm sure it's just the neighbor, I got it. Go back to your shower and Beyonce." You sent him a grin and got up to open the door. The bathroom door never snapped back closed and the music didn't start back but sure enough, he hopped back into the shower.

Looking through the peephole you let out a sigh and cracked the door, it was your ex.

"Please leave Alex, I told you we were done and we are. This." you motioned between the two of you. "Is done." Your tone was hushed not whispering but you surely didn't want to embarrass yourself in front of Buck like this.

"Y/N it was a mistake you know you want to be back you always take me back, your my favorite girl and I'm your only guy remember." You shook your head and pointed your gaze to the man you thought you loved.

"You cheated on me with my friend, you broke me, and not only did you damage the little bit of self-esteem I had, but you also broke the only friendship I had. You left me with nothing and now you come back expecting me to invite you in? Don't come back here. Ever."

You went to slam the door in his face, but he wedged his foot in just in time. There you were hyperventilating after you just put the show of a lifetime on, all for it to fail. You tried to be brave, you tried to be bucky.

"Woah now, what happened to my sweet girl? She would never try to shut me out. I like the brat, it kind of suits you, but brats always need to be put in their place." Your hand was still pushing on the door and you didn't realize that until he was pushing the door open further and the wetness of Bucky's chest was against you.

He pulled the door open fully, clad in a towel hanging dangerously low on his hips.

"Is there a problem?" You were standing between the two of them and you could feel your heart fall into your ass. You never talked to Buck about your previous relationships, in any aspect, you managed to master ignoring your trama.

"Yes, you're in my home with my fiance naked, I would say we have a fucking issue." He stepped toward the door and Bucky gave him a silent nod.

"Well, her telling you to leave killed any chance of this becoming a conversation, try to open this door and I promise to not be so pleasant."

Bucky slammed the door with his vibranium arm with so much force the wall shook.

"Buck, will you let me explain myself, please. I promise it's not what you think." He didn't look mad or upset or even phased.

"I don't think anything, Doll. There are certain situations we haven't told each other about yet, I don't blame you as I'm sure you wouldn't blame me. I just want you to know that when you're ready I'm here. Come Here." Bucky wrapped his arms around your soft body and his warmth ate away your anxiety.

"I am really sorry Bucky, I feel naked here. I've been wanting to tell you, all those times, I've clammed up on you not only in just little cute moments but at the wrong time. Sex. Conversations. You're so great you just let it go. I've never had that. There's a lot I've never experienced until I met you." You could feel the tears burning, and your chest tightening.

"If you're not ready you don't have to talk about it now Doll."

"No, I want you to know if you're going to even consider being with me. You have to know me right. I met Alex before w.e even graduated high school, I know you're probably expecting me to say he was sweet and nice from the beginning but he wasn't. I was the chubby, black girl in our class, and at some point, I feined for attention and he was more than willing to give it to me. He didn't give me the attention of a girlfriend until I turned 20." You sat on the couch and continued to tell him the story of your sad, sad love life.

"He had this pathetic saying 'You're my favorite girl, and I'm your only guy' I was so desperate for anyone to love me, even my parents stopped talking to me. He fucked every friend I thought I had, and I accepted it. He beat me and I thought I deserved it because I am weak."

"Don't talk down on yourself, you deserved love. You looked for it, and you fell for what you thought you deserved. You are not weak, you were never weak, you are resilient. You stood up for yourself you're wonderful. No man should ever be able to bring you that much fear. Not ever. You deserve the universe and I'll serve it to you on a platter if you let me.

007 Fest 2023 / Festivities Day

In which Felix Leiter takes 00QAD to the Fourth of July cookout

The suggestion comes from Alex. He’s formed a warm and unique relationship with the CIA agent who helped him lay low in America, after SPECTRE got hold of his groundbreaking lie detection software.

Alex has fond memories of Baltimore. Felix still calls him young man and maybe James Bond is a just a little bit jealous of their friendship.

It’s stiflingly hot, and Danny has watermelon in his hair. He’s had too much potato salad that he doesn’t have room for the spicy bean burger Felix hand made just for him, because he’s vegan. Maybe he’ll have his sandwich while they watch the fireworks later.

James is regaling Felix’s mother and aunties with tales of adventure and romance and mystery. Felix knows he’s full of shit but he loves seeing the excitement on his mama’s face.

Q found the neighborhood cats. He misses his own. Pampuria and Turing would absolutely devour the half-smoke he’s feeding the kitties right now, but they’re staying with their Granny Susan until he returns. He looks over and catches Felix’s eye.

It’s a good life.

Grub is Nat's rescue kitty from a local shelter! she was a..... gift? surprise? I guess?? from Quinn, although not without ulterior motives >:3

basically Quinn and Alex are attempting to win Nat’s trust and get him to depend on them or even just to LIKE them to start with, but they don’t really. know. an awful lot of useful information about him because he’s sorta paranoid and cagey. two facts they do know are that 1. he likes animals, especially cats and 2. he’s excruciatingly pathetically lonely

Quinn wants to integrate Nat into some of their own social circles and help him make some friends, but for the first week or so after turning he’s too nervous to leave his apartment except for work. he’s super fucking intimidated by other vampires, Alex included, and he doesn’t want anything to do with humans because of his newfound tendency to want to eat them

so Quinn eventually gives up trying to coax this anxious trainwreck of a vampire into getting out of the house and starting to be a person again n is just like. fuck it. maybe I’ll just throw a cat at him?? he’s just spiraling into a crisis all on his own, he’s barely willing to talk to us, and this will maybe be a foot in the door in terms of getting him comfortable being around other living creatures again??

so they get him a cat. Nat is home one day when a delivery of pet supplies arrives and he's like "nononono this must be a mistake I didn't order this and I don't have a pet" and the delivery person is just like. well it's addressed to you so! good luck!

and Nat is busy going hhuhhh???? about this when Quinn arrives and asks to be buzzed up to the apartment, and convince him by going “hey I brought you some blood for snacks <3” but then when they get up there they’re like “AND ALSO HERE’S A PET CAT TOO”

anyway, he’s initially super nervous about having a cat living with him although he LOVES her. because he doesn’t want to accidentally hurt her if he gets stressed out or hungry ;-; Quinn talks him into it by insisting that she is the least appetising creature on the planet because she is Genuinely Just That Ugly and also smells real weird. like literally what vampire would want to eat this. Nat is like hmmm yeah ok

so he acquires a cat!

she was a stray before she got to the shelter n has obviously been through some rough times, though has clearly been a housecat in the past, she loves people :3 she’s old! she’s got elevator music in her brain! she’s blind in one eye and near deaf in both ears! she’s got scars! she’s missing half her tail! she’s fluffy! she likes to murder shoelaces and make beeping noises!

she’s a bit skittish at first, but doesn’t take long to warm up to Nat c: she’s very VERY needy and affectionate, she cries whenever he’s not home, and will snuggle right up next to him on the pillow when he’s asleep. they’re both very glad to have a friend I think c:

vampires are creatures who are instinctively drawn to being warm and cosy and cuddly, so vampires and cats pair well together hehe

he can’t go anywhere in his apartment without her trailing after him and yelling for attention and love. Quinn finds this vaguely annoying. Nat loves it and it makes his heart melt n this weird little cat is responsible for like 90% of his emotional wellbeing. Grub stops him from spiraling too badly.... like, Nat just likes to feel needed and useful and loved, and he enjoys having something to look after and be responsible for :3 plus it's a friendship that's a little easier to manage with his schizotypal anxiety and paranoia, not that Quinn put THAT much thought into it

man idk if Nat actually genuinely doesn’t believe Grub is ugly or whether he just refuses to narrate as such. either way, he’s horrified when other people insult her, but like. yeah. he’s well aware most people find her somewhat bad to look at, and he takes great joy in showing people the EXTENSIVE collection of Grub pictures on his phone and going “isn’t she cute?? isn’t she the most beautiful cat you’ve ever seen?? she’s perfect and adorable right?? right??” in a cheerful-but-increasingly-threatening voice. and watching people squirm and lie through their teeth. because he’s a bastard and he finds it very funny

he does this to some random guy Quinn’s kidnapped and handcuffed to a chair for him to eat at one point and this poor guy is like. fucking sweating bullets and internally screaming just sort of like……. what kind of sick power play is this…. is this normal vampire behaviour….. is this guy going to rip my throat out if I don’t say his cat is cute convincingly enough….. what the fuck is happening

whereas Nat’s thought process is just “I have zero interest in actually eating this guy but he is handcuffed to a chair with no means of escape which means I can ramble to him as long as I want. of course I am going to take advantage of this for a while lmao”

hmmmmm and one wholesome fact is that Nat often makes Grub extremely fancy little homecooked meals when he feeds her. like. healthy safe meals for cats! but still just. yep. he lovingly cooks for her frequently. this is also funny because Nat is a vegetarian and refuses to cook meat for any of his friends (except Lloyd occasionally), but WILL cook meat specially for his cat

he will also make up little nonsense songs about how cute and special she is and he will sing these to her while dancing with her around the apartment. it is incredibly silly and incredibly cute. I cannot emphasise enough how much he adores her

Thoughts on TMMM 5x01 and the start of 5x02

OK, so I have only watched 5x01 and beginning of 5x02 (the flash forward and the bit until the opening credits) and I have...thoughts.

SPOILERS UNDER HERE

Being that when I write fic, I timeline everything to try and keep it accurate, it pissed me off no end that they suddenly decided to move Lenny’s Carnegie show to November (it was actually midnight 4th February, which I remember because it’s my birthday lol). I get that it was so that the Thanksgiving dinner could then take place, but surely they could have created another reason for a family gathering?

I liked Mei a lot, and I get that Stephanie was probably busy with other things, but I wanted to see her character develop more. Joel remains the worst, Mei being the thing that made him bearable now being gone just makes that worse.

Now, the flashforwards: I have enjoyed flashforwards in fic, but for me, they do work in the show. The beauty of TMMM is its period setting and the flashforward of Esther just completely took me out of it. Plus, Esther, really? She is such a non-character, but now we’re meant to care what happens to her?

I hate, hate, HATE the flashforward interview bit at the start of 5x02. ASP honestly seems to hate Midge because she makes her into what seems like a pretty selfish and not nice person. One of the things I love about Midge and Lenny is how they bring this softness out in each other, and that’s a side of Midge that makes me like her most, so to disregard that makes me angry.

I also can’t believe they have Midge and Susie fall out years down the line. Even Rachel and Alex have said the show it always about their friendship, so to have them end for an unknown reason (maybe more info will be supplied) really hurts.

Also, I do not need to know exactly what becomes of Midge once the series ends. I would be perfectly fine to imagine it myself.

As for the Lenny and Midge scene in 5x01: It was...fine and pretty much what I expect. I always love to see Rachel and Luke together, but of course I would have loved a little more, even a hug. I loved Lenny’s reference of Kitty and Midge saying “Lucky girl” that he was going to go and stay with her. ❤️ Lenny’s “Sorry I didn’t call” was sweet, but then for Midge to do “We don’t do that” was like, well sure, they didn’t, but they slept together, so surely that made things different?

Erm, that it for now, I think. I just needed to vent lol.

What I think (tbh, hope is the right word) is gonna happen in XO, Kitty S2:

◇SPOILERS below

◇ Biased towards my favorite ship, sorry ;)

• First of all, Kitty is obviously going back to KISS with Yuri's help;

• Dae will be back too, not sure if because they're going to excuse his 2nd place (it's way too stupid for a scholarship to demand 1st place every single time) or if they're gonna find out that Florian cheated/Florian will tell himself;

• Probably not the first option, or else the whole drama will be for nothing;

• Also, whatever happens, Florian will stay at KISS, even if there are new complications regarding his parents or the fact he cheated;

• I think Florian and Q are going to break up at some point, maybe Q will even have a new love interest, but will probably end up with Florian;

• Dae, too, will have a new love interest (most likely a "definite" one) and their main drama will be about him getting over his past with Kitty;

• On this topic, I really hope Dae and Kitty's friendship solidifies and that they're able to overcome the awkwardness of their break up;

• Now that Juliana is back, I think she's gonna share dorms with Kitty;

• Unless Yuri decides to stay at the dorms too, to be closer to Juliana, then she will be the one sharing dorms with Kitty (her mom won't allow her and Juliana sharing the same dorm);

• Juliana will notice how close Yuri and Kitty are (specially if they share a dorm), she's gonna get jealous and will break up with Yuri;

• Yuri will realize she has started to develop some feelings towards Kitty;

• Kitty and Yuri will notice their feelings for each other soon after;

• They're gonna date and we will have some very cute scenes but, in the end, they'll break up and realize they're better off as best friends, just as how their moms were;

• And part of the reason for the break up is because Yuri is still in love with Juliana, while Kitty, once again, fell for someone else;

• If it wasn't obvious before, I'm talking about Min Ho here;

• Taking off from the last episode, he and Kitty will kinda ignore his confession, not forget it completely, they'll just try to act normal and keep bantering with each other, but there's also gonna be somewhat of a tension between the two of them;

• Not sure if they're gonna show much of Kitty in the US before KISS, but, either way, I don't think they'll see each other during the winter break;

• So, as soon as they're all back to KISS, the awkwardness of the confession is still kind of lingering between Kitty and Min Ho, and Q is the first to notice ofc;

• Then it's Dae, and that will result on some drama between the two boys, with Q in the middle not knowing what to do;

• But it'll all work out at the end, and we'll be able to see more of the boys' friendship;

• Then, as times passes, Kitty and Min Ho get closer and closer, and she starts to fall in love with him too;

• But she just started dating Yuri, and she likes her, so Kitty does her best to act like nothing changed;

• Until the moment Yuri notices that Kitty and Min Ho's relationship dynamic has changed, and decide they have to break up;

• And they do, and there's a little bit more drama, but we end the season with Yuri and Juliana as a couple again (or working towards it), and Kitty and Min Ho realizing they relaly fell for each other;

• Which gives way to a third season, paralleling the three movies for TATBILB;

◇Some extra notes:

• I hope Jina divorces Yuri's father;

•Also, that she, Yuri, Alex and Prof Lee get closer, like a real family;

• We're going to found out more about Simon and, idk, maybe he's the reason why Eve Song always told her daughters not to go to college while dating someone?

• Also, maybe a quick appearance of Lara Jean and Peter, please

Anyways, let's see how much (if any) of it is going to actually happen :3

Winter/X-mas Prompts #7: “If you’re cold they’re cold, let them in.” - “That’s a raccoon.” Luke pairing of your choice

He's neck deep in a song, music and melodies flowing through his brain, out his pen, but the lyrics aren't coming as easily as he would like. His humming and mumbling had long since driven Alex and Bobby away, leaving only Reggie (who was hyper-focussed on trying to make a friendship bracelet for Julie) and Willie behind in the living room.

Willie was fiddling with clay, sculpting tiny little antlers for his latest long furby monstrosity. It was snowing outside, the fake fireplace was going (Alex did not trust them enough to buy a house with a real fireplace, and he was right to), and all in all it would be a perfect cozy afternoon if he weren't stuck on this damn chorus.

"Oh hey," Willie said suddenly, breaking the not-quite-silence-because-Luke-wouldn't-stop-humming-the-same-four-notes. "Kitty's here."

"Hmm?" Luke asked, not looking up from his songbook. Maybe if he swapped the words around, it would be easier to find a rhyme with 'forget'.

"The stray I've been feeding. Don't tell Alex and Bobby." Yeah, Lex and Bobbert were all weird about rabies and fleas sometimes.

"It's freezing outside," Reggie said, worried. "Maybe we should make it like a little box or something, with some warm blankets?"

"If you're cold, they're cold, let them in," Luke muttered, half-remembering some kind of commercial that had been on TV a lot when he was a kid. Yeah, 'forget' worked way better as a final word.

He ignored the chill of Willie opening the sliding door, making cooing noises at the stray cat until it apparently came inside. "Do you want some smoked salmon, baby?" he asked. "Do you want to be a bougie boy? Yes you do!"

With the chorus finished, he could go on to the part where he'd switch off with Julie, maybe with Reggie too. He ignored Reggie whispering excitedly that Kitty was 'just so cute', ignored Willie sitting back down, ignored the little smacking sounds of a cat eating the last smoked salmon and the fact that Alex would probably be annoyed because he was hoping to have it as a snack on some crackers later...

"What the hell is this?"

Speak of the devil. Alex and Bobby had returned home.

"It was Luke's idea!" Reggie and Willie immediately threw him under the bus, which, rude. Even though he had been the one to suggest bringing the cat inside.

"Come on guys," he said, finally looking up from his song book to give a confused Alex and an annoyed Bobby his best puppy eyes. "It's super cold outside, you can't be mad at Willie for taking in a stray and saving it from..." He looked over at where Willie was sitting. On his lap, a raccoon was happily eating smoked salmon, clutching it in its little hands.

"That's a raccoon," he told Willie blankly.

"Yeah," Willie beamed. "Luke, meet Kitty."

Remaking X-Men: Evolution (Season 2)

(Note: If this looks familiar, that's because this is a reupload. I've rewritten all 4 seasons, plus my own original season. Make sure to check them out!)

Hey, guys! In case you missed it, I’ve remade the entire “X-Men: Evolution” series, as well as altering the roster. Here’s my synopsis for season 2:

Growing Pains--Adds Shadowcat, Rictor, and Somnus to the New Mutants (with the OG cast), as well as Forge formally joining them. This is to help him train–much to his chagrin, as he worries being in different teams could make him seem inferior to Storm and create a rift between them. In this version, Storm manipulates the winds to put the truck back on the bridge. While somewhat subtle, she laments that she shouldn’t be using her powers in the open, despite Kurt and Bobby’s praise. With Kitty joining the NM, she and Lance hit it off upon meeting before realizing who the other person is. Destiny is staying at the Brotherhood’s mansion following Mystique’s dissappearence, and Daken joins to make sure Magneto’s will is carried out. Destiny is late to warn the X-Men of Avlanche, Toad, and Quicksilver interrupting the soccer match. She sends Psylocke, Daken, and Gambit to reign them in, with Psylocke and Jean helping Professor X erasing everyone’s minds.

2. Power Surge--Plays out in a relatively similar fashion. Forge takes Storm to Duncan’s party for a date, while Iceman and Prodigy go stag, though Prodigy finds the knowledge he’s absorbing to be overwhelming, and realizes that Jean is experiencing something similar. While at the party, Risty notices Graydon and becomes fast friends with him, without Rogue and Graydon’s knowledge that she’s friends with both of them. During the power surge when Rogue absorbs some of Jean’s power, Rogue finds that some of the telekinesis lingers inside of her, allowing her to fly. In this episode, she also is able to let her (romantic) feelings for Scott go.

3. Bada-Bing Bada-Boom--Kind of a hard one. Calling it instead Magikal Girl, I imagine Magik making her debut in this episode, joining the X-Men in hopes of finding her brother. I feel like adding her removes reason to have Boom-Boom. The episode would instead flashback to her escaping Magneto after he kidnaps as a child, falling into another dimension where she learned to control her abilities, coming back to Earth a decade older. Certain details from the comics are omitted since they may be complicated or not affect the overall story, but it explains her friendship with Shadowcat and Storm. It’s revealed at the end that she feels as though someone is watching her, later revealed to be Magneto. The new mutants also get some screentime; briefly it’s seen that Daken and Somnus go on a date, as they don’t know who the other is (which ends in a kiss that’s implied to make them feel as though they’ve dated for years, making Daken feel overwhelmed and break off the relationship off-screen). At this point, Kitty leaves the New Mutants to be with Lance.

4. Fun and Games--Essentially plays out the same, except Risty brings Graydon instead of Weber, and Risty’s reveal as Mystique does not occur (I’d rather leave that for “Self Possessed”). Graydon attempts to expose the mutants, but Jean and Scott return in time for Jean to prevent it.

5. The Beast of Bayville--Puts Bobby in Evan’s role, and makes Mr. Sinister the main antagonist. Posing as a substitute science teacher, he manipulates Beast by pretending he can cure him, taking Beast’s hope and making him interested in mutants in a cruel and sadistic manner. He ends up looking physically normal (at least temporarily) due to experimentation, and continues to be a teacher at BH, albeit much more disturbed.

6. Adrift--Mostly the same, but the circumstances have Alex and Scott visiting Alex’s adoptive family rather than just Scott going out to visit Alex in Hawaii.

7. On Angel’s Wings--Has both small and major changes. Kurt good-naturely tries to kiss Storm instead of Kitty under the mistletoe, only for them to actually kiss and Forge and Storm have a brief argument. Rogue flirts with Scott in an equally light-hearted manner, as absorbing Jean and Gambit have helped her become a bit more comfortable with herself. In this version, Angel is a teenager, mainly because in my version of this episode, Magneto brings Psylocke with him in order to catch Angel, hinting at a romantic pairing between the two. The team in this episode consists of Magik, Rogue, and Scott (figuring everyone else has somewhere else to go on Christmas).

8. African Storm--Making an obvious change; replace Hungan with the Shadow King. He would possess her and wreak havoc in New York, and we’d have flashbacks into Storm’s life as an orphan, thief, goddess, and her initial days as an X-Man. Rogue uses her abilities to lure the Shadow King out while Professor X and Jean engage in a psychic battle to save her. It is revealed here that Storm has feelings for Nightcrawler, and when Forge confronts her about it, he breaks off the relationship before she could declare her loyalty as his girlfriend.

9. Joyride--Has Lance notice how much Kitty misses the X-Men and how he’s tired of being annoyed and/or afraid of other members of the Brotherhood. He encourages Kitty to rejoin the X-Men, and she coaxes him into joining her as well so they can be together. While Alex wants to give Lance the benefit of the doubt, Cyclops criticizes him and accuses him of bad judgement given his same sympathy for Magneto on Asteroid M. The troublesome New Mutant members in this episode include Somnus (who puts everyone to sleep) and Forge. It’s revealed the NM are trying to help cheer Forge up following his breakup, and when everything is cleared up, Cyclops apologizes to Avalanche, and he stays. To everyone’s surprise, Gambit appears at the mansion to join the X-Men as well.

Mindbender-–moved to season 3 to keep the season focused on Apocalypse rather than stretched out in seasons 2-4.

10. Shadow Dance--While Kurt tries to express his feelings for Storm, she encourages him to romance his other crush, Amanda. After Kurt’s traumatizing teleportation experience, Forge decides to study Magik’s teleportation abilities. In this case, demons pour out from Magik’s portals. Storm and Forge have a bittersweet but cathartic talk about their break-up, and Rogue and Gambit go to the dance together (Daken and Psylocke don’t bother crashing the dance like the rest of the Brotherhood). Destiny tries to reach out to Rogue and give Kurt a message from Mystique (as it’d be too suspicious coming from Risty), but both rebuff her due to Rogue knowing about her allegiance.

11. Retreat-–Capturing Rictor and intending to make him his new victim, Beast (or Dark Beast) is discovered by hunters, and it’s up to the New Mutants to save both of them. During the skirmish, Beast is rendered unconscious and the Professor begins working on repairing his mind, letting him join the X-Men. While Mister Sinister gains Rictor’s DNA, he becomes fascinated by two mutants in particular…

12. Walk on the Wild Side--Focuses on Scott’s hero complex instead of him acting like an OOC sexist jerk, and talking with Alex and Kurt to help overcome it. The Sirens (being made of Magik, Jean, Magma, Rogue, and a listless Psylocke) form out of a girls’ night that becomes an exciting crime-fighting event (that Psylocke happened to be present for). Eventually they disband when Daken taunts Psylocke and makes her think they don’t really like her. Before Mystique intervenes, Sinister manages to gain a sample of Jean’s DNA while posing as an officer. This also offers a brief appearence of Banshee.

13. Operation Rebirth--Essentially plays out the same, albeit involving Prodigy, Daken and Magik on the mission, with Magneto giving hints about Polaris. It’d also be nice to dive into not just Magneto’s past, but also his present goals and his family life. Along with this, some of Daken’s past and anger is explained.

14. The HeX Factor--Here we would dive more into Pietro’s feelings about his father and sister, along with Magik and Storm helping to even the playing field against Wanda. When the X-Men are about to be killed, Lance shows up and agrees to rejoin the Brotherhood, helping to convince them not to kill the X-Men. The end of the episode has Magneto talking to Polaris about how he wants Wanda to be just like her, as Polaris is the older sister here.

15. Day of Reckoning (part 1)--Offers a fight with a recovered Beast, Storm, and Prodigy against Psylocke and Daken in the sewers where the X-Men are almost overwhelmed during their search for Wolverine. Daken and Psylocke begin to act independently of the Brotherhood since they sense Mystique making a power play, thus not joining the team-up between them and the X-Men. Destiny attempts again to reach out to Rogue, but fears she is only half-listening about her claims of Rogue’s possible self-destruction. Professor X leaves not only Scott behind, but Havok and Prodigy as well, and Amara escapes with Kitty’s help. Professor X asks Somnus to put Scott to sleep to “help relieve his stress.”

16. Day of Reckoning (part 2)--Has Polaris ambush the team (instead of Gambit), while Pyro and Iceman go toe-to-toe before Storm assists. Psylocke is seen with Magneto while Daken attempts to locate Wolverine to kill him. Kitty returns to the mansion to help save the other students. Gambit and Rogue have a brief romantic moment resulting in a kiss where they tag-team the Acolytes with Gambit’s powers. Magik finds Colossus and while she attempts to speak to him, he realizes Magneto has been watching her and ignores her pleas, instead fighting other X-Men. While Havok becomes flustered by Polaris, she attempts to defeat Wanda, who incapacitates her in a rage. Because of this, Polaris doesn’t get in the travel sphere. The sentinels capture Rogue, Iceman, Gambit, Polaris, and Beast. After knocking Quicksilver unconscious, Scarlet Witch attacks Psylocke and sends her into a coma, allowing the sentinels to capture her. Upon finding Wolverine, Daken is seemingly killed, but is actually rescued by Mr. Sinister, who also kidnaps Lorna and Colossus. Upon returning to the X-Mansion, they find the students unharmed thanks to Kitty. After hearing Somnus’ explanation, looking at the video tapes, and Prodigy confirming his suspicions, Cyclops realizes that Mystique has been pretending to be Professor X, and now things are about to get “much worse.”
