(Polls) Baldur's Gate 3: Which Race/Class/Background Do You Prefer For Tav?
Unlike Baldur's Gate 1 & 2 where 7 races are available, 11 races are available along with which type you want to be.
Half-elf
Elf
Dwarf
Half-Orc
Halfling
Drow
Githyanki
Tiefling
Gnome
Human
Dragonborn
Which Race do you prefer for Tav to be and Why? Is it because it's your favorite in DnD? Is it because it's the most popular? Because it's underrated? Because it is seen as good/evil in-verse and you wanted to break the stereotype by playing as the opposite alignment? Because of the unique dialogue options?
(In all of these polls you can vote for more then one options)
As for classes, I think you have you have 12 choices along with which type you want.
Paladin
Cleric
Wizard
Druid
Bard
Ranger
Fighter
Barbarian
Rogue
Sorcerer
Monk
Warlock
Which Class do you prefer Tav and Why? Is it because it's your favorite in DnD? Is it because it's the most popular? Because it's underrated? Is it because it seems fitting? Because it's the most useful? Because of the unique dialogue options?
What's new is that you get to choose a Background you want for your character. Backgrounds not only provide you with skill bonuses now, they also grant you Quests that you can complete throughout the game. These Quests gives you Inspiration Points as well as Experience Points, and adds context to your character's background in the world of Baldur's Gate 3.
Acolyte
Charlatan
Criminal
Entertainer
Folk Hero
Guild Artisan
Noble
Outlander
Sage
Soldier
Urchin
Haunted One (Dark Urge Only)
I added Haunted One even though it's a Dark Urge Only Background because not only is it's unique. Because The Dark Urge is an Avatar only origin like the customizable origin character (Tav). Plus, have you heard of Blood in Baldur's Gate? It's a community-driven free-to-play narrative browser game, a prequel of sorts to Baldur's Gate 3. It's set of 1477 DR, 15 years before the start of Baldur's Gate 3.
Spoiler Warning****
The Dark Urge is the culprit of the murders, and killed the detective at the end. The Detective is called Tav.
I'd like to think when the Dark Urge had amnesia they end up going by the name of one of their past victims (Tav, I think calling them Dark Urge seems like a mouthful. It's my headcanon).
******
Which Background do you prefer for Tav and Why? Because you find it more interesting? Because it's fitting? Because its the most useful?

Hi here’s my “the gang plays dnd” concept.
Ron is the dm and yes he does wear the big hood when he dms.
Brett plays a peace domain cleric half-orc. He doesn’t realize it because he’s not using the mechanics to the best of his ability at first but he could easily be doing some game breaking shit as a support caster. His character is named Joan (after Joan Jett) and she grew up with a herd of satyrs who all loved her soooo much. One of their prized sheep went missing though so she’s on a mission to bring it back to the flock.
Gigi plays a beastmaster ranger high elf with a unicorn companion. Both of them are unstoppable forces of death and destruction. She didn’t have a backstory thought out until she stumbled into it via improv. Her character was part of a doomsday cult and she was literally dragged out by the unicorn she sticks with right before everything went down. It deemed her pure of heart and decided to save her. Now they are a well paid assassin duo.
Andre has been playing dnd since middle school. He knows his shit. He plays as a high elf circle of spores druid. Very much wish fulfillment. Myc was fucking FURIOUS when he found out that was a thing and Andre did it first.
I try not to think about glenn at the best of times. He doesn’t get to play. If he did he would probably play like. Battlemaster fighter or something lame.
Alpha beta however does get to play. He plays a pact of the tome warlock gnome. Yeah. A gnome. This gnomes patron? Cuthulu itself. The gnome used to be a powerful prince. He made a pact in exchange for infinite knowledge and power. Unfortunately, he got turned into a gnome in the process. [Brett tells alpha beta they should watch the emperors new groove together later.]
Myc plays a tiefling evocation wizard with a stupid high charisma stat and keeps trying to fuck everything in his path. He made fun of Ron for running the game at first but quickly realized everyone else was down for it. Unfortunately he had made one too many jokes about “wizard bullshit” and ended up playing a wizard. He’s really mad he keeps getting knocked out. Glass cannon problems.
Reagan is playing a shadow magic sorcerer fallen aasimar. Her character was sent from a higher plane to warn the lower planes of something horrible coming, but something hurt her on the way. Now she has no memory of what she was supposed to warn people about. And worse yet, a shadow creature keeps following her.

I know it’s been a hot minute but i got a new little idea for you~ I’m doing a gift exchange and one of the prompts I got was for Lonelyeyes as dnd characters. So consider Peter as a elf grave cleric and Elias as a human onomancy wizard who is secretly a litch. Also wouldn’t it be funny if Elias tricked Jon into becoming a warlock with Elias as his patron. Lastly Martin should be a paladin. Anyway all that’s to say, what are your tma dnd head canons? 😉💕
OHHHH first of all I am now waiting to see that lonelyeyes fic cause ohoho. Secondly all those ideas are so goooood.
Fun thing is a have a few ideas. Cause of a few conversations with some friends. So!!!
Peter was a paladin like his family wanted, but he got tired and jaded of having to go around "helping" and ended up becoming a druid so he could live alone in the forest. Either he is a human or an aasimar because fluffy wings. His family is a bit cultish so you know. Regular Lukas.
Elias/Jonah is a warlock, he started as a wizard but ended up as a warlock while trying to figure out ways to cheat death. He is a shapeshifter.
Tadeas is a human paladin. Rosie is a tiefling ranger.
Jon thought he was a cleric but he ended up as a warlock. I think it would be funny if he is a tabaxi or a Kenku.
Martin is a half dwarf. However he got his dad's normal height which is why his mom doesn't like him after he left. He is probably a rougue. Cause sneaky sneaky stabby stabby.
Tim is a half elven bard. Because he is charming and actually being a bard means you gotta get a degree and Tim is smart and will cast vicious mockery to fuck with you.
Sasha is a human wizard with very low wisdom I assure you.
Melanie is a half orc barbarian
Georgie an elf necromancer.
Daisy a werewolf monk and basira a human ranger.
Gerry is a half elf fighter and a sorcerer.
Also simon is an air genasi magician.

i’ve written up my commentary on the other post but i’m starting over now. i'll make a lot of the same basic points but i prefer to rephrase vs copy-pasting older commentary
temerity and sergey are the two characters i haven't played yet but they're pretty solidly planned so i wanted to include them!
started off strong with the tiefling favoritism before branching off to try new things. the less-common species are generally more interesting to me, though i'm sure i'll get an elf or dwarf or halfling eventually purely because i want a diversified roster and to give everyone a chance. lore-wise i'm the most interested in changelings, hexbloods, and dhampir. i also want to do a reborn eventually!
i’ve done pretty good at diversifying class, though rogues have the highest count. i don’t think i’m necessarily a rogue person, it’s more like... kip and jt are both one-shot kids that i didn’t do much with combat/special action-wise, so it hasn’t really felt like i’ve played a rogue until i started playing niamh. i HAVE really enjoyed playing a rogue with niamh, though!
largely, though, i think i prefer playing magic casters, which shows in the next category. even ivan would’ve been a partial caster as an eldritch knight. i just like magic! while i often enjoy the simplicity of not having to plan out niamh’s moves too hard, i do also feel limited by not having any magic. if i’m far away, i either shoot an arrow or i get closer. if i’m close, i either stab or move away. those are basically my options with niamh. i love spells, i love the variety and i love all the shit they can do. i love spells!!
while the limited spell slots suck, i’ve had a lot of fun as a warlock, and all the cantrips you get to make up for the limited spell slots is pretty sweet. i also just like the lore behind warlocks and their patrons! there’s so much potential there!
next we get into some demographic stuff, b/c this shit interests me
i feel like i need to play more women, but ngl, it’s a complicated thing for me on a gender front. i like being referred to by things other than she even if it’s my character someone is referring to.
i have some anxiety over playing so many trans characters because my brain is stupid, though that’s lessened somewhat over time, partly due to working through my own shit and partly as other people play trans and nonbinary characters. not being the only trans player in some groups also helps that anxiety a little. i can’t fully articulate this, just, y’know. general anxiety over being trans too loudly. it’s dumb but here i am.
start out my orientation sections with the aspec-centric one because, as an aspec person, that’s just important to me! things also got real jumbled in the first runthrough of this list and splitting the orientation section into two helped out.
most of my kids are aspec, hell yeah. frankly it’s hard for me NOT to make OCs some form of aspec. i resist the urge only because i like variety.
personally i like how my aroace kids all experience their orientation differently. reuben is romance-favorable and sex-repulsed and SUPER into romance novels. zenith is romance and sex-neutral leaning -positive; largely he’s just. y’know. an alien and these are largely foreign concepts and he’s been more interested in other things while exploring the material plane. niamh is romance and sex-repulsed, at least personally, as she’s mostly not squicked by seeing/hearing about other people experiencing romance and sex stuff, she’s just not interested. toby, continuing their pattern of true neutrality, is romance and sex-neutral. they definitely weren’t looking for a relationship, though they’re happy about the one they stumbled into! toby also experiences romantic attraction so rarely that they don’t ID with being gay or bi or anything more specific, which is why they’re purely in the aroace category.
unfortunately attraction is a fucking mystery to me, and i know i don’t play all of my characters who experience it to any degree 100% correctly. my own experience and lens through which i view the world hinders me here because it doesn’t occur to me that ‘oh my character should’ve wanted to flirt or show interest in that npc’ or whatever until like. sessions and sessions later, lmao. like it’s not a thing that comes up in-game too much so it’s largely mostly-irrelevant flavor text but there are characters traits that I’M aware of that i’m not playing correctly and that bugs me a little bit.
not a single straight kid on this list, though i think JT ends up being straight in her canon outside of DND if i’m remembering her right? it’s been a while. but that’s irrelevant because of where she’s at in her DND one-shot.
debated a lot over merging the bi and pan categories, as i had them separate in my other post, and my instinct IS to separate them because they ARE separate identities despite the overlap. as someone who IDs as both bi and pan it just gets. muddled. i don’t know. i ended up merging them here because there is enough overlap that for these counts it makes more sense to me to loop them together, and i just noted which kids i think of IDing more as one way or the other. i don’t have any kids that ID as any other kind of multisexual atm.
that’s all i got now, i’ll update this list as new i play more characters and add to the commentary as i go along

OC Storytime!  Krokus Edition
alright, alright, so @kittykittyhunter and @xivuuarath (and for good measure I’m tagging @vanoodle too because I know you like him) asked me to talk about one of my characters after all and tag them in the post so I am picking my latest abomination creation Krokus and going bananas after the readmore.
So, let me ramble about this chaotic delicate flower here:
Tumblr media
SO, Krokus!
I made him last may/june for our tiny TTRPG / DnD group of three. As you can possibly tell, he’s a Tiefling! If you can not tell because you have no idea what a Tiefling is: that’s basically a human given ~demonic~ traits via their ~cursed bloodline~. That’s why they look like hilariously cliché christian devil pastiches, but it doesn’t necessarily make them, you know, bad, it’s just really good fodder for edgy backstories / career paths because people tend to distrust people who... look like THAT.
Anyway, I’m gonna stop right here to say that Krokus has neither fire-resistance (and by that, I mean both actual fire and spicy food, he has the palate of the whitest person) nor a particularly gloomy backstory or career path but both are... eventful I guess?
He was adopted at an early age by a retired adventurer of sorts who just kept picking up weirdo kids and raising them in relative peace, so there’s not much baggage there, what really messed with him though was a certain event that led to him developing his magic, which is aptly called ‘Wild Magic’. What this means is basically that unlike other spellcasters who get their magic from some sort of powerful extraplanar entity like a deity/devil/fey/etc etc. as clerics or warlocks would do, or from their bond to nature and surroundings like druids would, or even from their studies of the arcane, like wizards would... he’s a Sorcerer, which means his powers come from within himself. He doesn’t even have to do anything for it! And that’s part of his problem - he was basically exposed to/infected with... SOMETHING that awakened some chaotic magical energy in him that now really wants to get out, often at the most inopportune times (mostly when he uses his own magic - it’s like the stronger the spell he uses, the more likely it is to trigger a surge of wild magic right after, which can do basically... anything. From making a single daisy grow on his head to turning into a sheep to randomly healing someone to bringing forth a powerful and feared fireball explosion). Blessed with chaos, yay!?
That happened a few years ago when he was a teenager, and since then the wild magic has only grown stronger. While he really would’ve liked to just stay with his adoptive father and help him raise other outcast kids like he has before, he decided it’d be best to not ignore the potentially dangerous wild magic but try and get it under control, somehow. Also, he’s a naturally curious type and when he got the chance to stay with an acquaintance in a big city with lots of opportunities to study magic, he went there, working mainly as a translator for mainly magic-related texts and tomes and trying to study wild magic phenomena in his free time.
That’s where our adventure picked up - he was talked into an expedition that he only joined because of the hope of finding an artifact that could control his wild magic (spoiler: that was a lie. Or rather, didn’t work out). On the way he met his current traveling companions have a lot in common with one another, but contrast quite a lot with him! Feloki is a half-orc devoted to the goddess of life and agriculture and Yinven is a an earth-elemental druid who can and will shapeshift into animals for combat, connoissance or just for kicks. Both are very attuned to their surroundings, good fighters if necessary and healers in general, pretty relaxed overall and open to new experiences, while Krokus is... well, a skinny, weak beanpole who’d REALLY rather not fight because if he does, things quickly escalate. Our group has a saying about our biggest enemies so far that’s like “first they laugh, then they explode” because that’s what happens more often than not... :,) Krokus’ weapon of choice is basically just talking to people and creatures - he almost managed to instigate a goblin rebellion with enchanted grapes as bribes and talk down a dragon and convince it to move elsewhere, tricked some cultists and talked a retired pirate into escorting us to some cold-ass possibly dangerous islands. For his -honeymoon-, no less. He may not look like you typically imagine a 20 Charisma character (but CHA is a highly misunderstood stat and doesn’t = seductive powers but just. Force of will and he has A LOT of that. Also he’s good with jokes and can probably do some passable puppy eyes) but he knows how to talk. On the other hand, when pushed he can do some pretty scary things - his journeys and battles led him to defeat a lot of enemies (which he honestly struggles with, even if none of them were human/-oids) and his magical power only grew from that, ALONG with his wild magic surges... after accidentally summoning his first fireball which could’ve killed our whole party, he learned to control them - but sometimes they still just spill out. He can conjure small illusions, a magical ethereal hand, shoot fire, shape water, teleport with some thundercracks or just chuck random chaotic energy around. Oh, and read minds. Another thing he is pretty apprehensive about and doesn’t know what to do with. Along with his awesome but scary powers growing in magnitude and frequency, he also gained a bit more control over it via... luck. He doesn’t know why but all the randomness seems to be balanced with a ridiculous amount of luck - sometimes in battle, sometimes in daily life. On the other hand, when he made a very generous donation to the goddess of luck, she rewarded him with a good luck charm that just shattered when he relied on it. I guess he really has to learn to trust in whatever he comes up with himself!
Fortunately, his teammates are just relaxed/optimistic enough to just roll with whatever weird crap happens around him. I guess they’re a... grounding influence, haha.
So, uh, yeah, I guess I mostly talked about what’s happened to him so far so let’s count down some weird shit he has experienced or caused:
stunned some ruffians shadowing him and Feloki in a dark alley by loudly and cheerfully greeting them
basically, enthusiastically greeting just about anyone is the first thing he does
asking whoever he’s talking to whether they’re happy working for their boss is the second thing he does lmao
likes to bribe Goblins by offering “magic cherries” (basically enchanted grapes)
casually snatching a wizard’s staff from him while he wasn’t looking. It’s his now.
if fighting humanoids, you’ll bet he’ll not hurt them unless absolutely necessary but just. tie them up, tuck them in, wish them a good night and leave out a scented candle for them while they go about their business scouting out whatever dungeon.
speaking of which, he’s good at tying all sorts of ribbons, ropes, braids etc. While the party was resting once, he spent his part of the night watch absent-mindedly brushing and braiding our half-orc’s luscious hair. It’s calming to him and keeps him focused when he can’t afford to get absorbed in a book.
after parleying with a dragon didn’t work out, in the following battle against it he just... launched both himself AND the whole dragon’s hoard like 15 meters into the air and then started GLOWING like a tiny sun fjdklsa
“calmed” (= scare/confuse) an owlbear by trying to tickle it with a mage hand spell
first politely corrected a slip of the tongue by the BBEG, enraging him into retreating for a moment, and when the guy popped up again to surprise us and threw out ANOTHER one liner, Krokus just. experienced another wild fireball surge and just. kamikaze’d into the guy and pulverized him. RIP, nobody expected that
speaking of wild magic fireballs: that happened THREE TIMES. The chances of that are, technically 1% but Krokus somehow made that a 15%...
randomly grew a third eye during one battle/surge
to the party: “watch out for charm spells, especially today (it was Valentine’s)” himself, later AT the party: /promptly gets charmed and robbed
also at the Valentine party: wins FOUR games of chance in a row, right away, nearly dies from too spicy food
hates the cold, yet is named after a flower that blooms when there’s still snow outside
So yeah. He’s fun to play and I’m curious to see what else he will experience in the future!

anyways here my hlvrai but its dnd hcs
gordon: human (battle master) fighter. my boy is squishy with a big heart. full himbo material. he’s a little annoyed at how useless he feels being the most squishy (human) and having no magical abilities, but its almost weird how magical stuff sometimes starts happening when he get emotional or scared (does he have latent sorcerer bloodline abilities? is he just picking up on the magic he’s studied for so long? is he unwittingly siphoning energy off of a being he’s made a pact with without knowing? is he just a weird version of an eldritch knight? who knows. this idiot doesn’t even know he’s multiclassing now.)
(its benrey. benrey starting juicing him up w magic bc he thought it was funny but never told him. tommy hasn’t said anything bc he assumed gordon is embarassed at not being good at the new magic. bubby doesnt care and coomer keeps assuming the magic is something else, which means gordon also assumes its something else.)
benrey: he says hes a tiefling. gordon has a theory hes some form of undead, or half-kobold or weird genasi or changeling or even a full demon. benrey keeps agreeing and then denying every theory. tommy says he doesn’t know, but also agrees with whatever benrey says next so, who’s to say. as for his class, he also never gives a straight answer. it’s clearly some form of innate magic, but he’s casting spells from every possible dominion and school and shapeshifting a lot so again, who’s to say.
tommy: half-elf (beast master) ranger. he typically uses a bow but sometimes he pulls out this strange, really loud and really powerful thing that he never misses a shot on and never seems to give a straight answer when gordon asks what it is and looks at him like he’s the idiot for asking (its a gun. yes this is still high fantasy). By the end of the campaign, he’s also multiclassing into warlock, though he doesn’t use his magic much (his patron is gman, obviously lol) (is sunkist a regular magical dog because he’s a ranger, or a result of the pact of the chain? considering he’s had her since before multiclassing, the ranger thing would make sense, but theres something a bit off about her...)
sunkist: A Blink Dog! they teleport! she’s tommys constant companion and the perfect dog, except when shes not tommys constant companion but still the perfect dog!
bubby: he’s half... something. he doesn’t know. he was raised by gnomes though, and is used to being the tallest person in the room (this makes being around tommy very aggravating for him). As for his class, I really want to say bard bc I think it would be very very funny, but I think wild magic sorcerer (who says he’s an evocation wizard bc it makes him sound more smart) is also a very good choice.
coomer: halfling artificer and monk multiclass! he builds lots of cool things. he’s honestly made himself half warforged at this point, what with all the enhancements he’s given himself. (what? you expect him to just make you a new arm right now, gordon? what gave you the idea he could do that, idiot? anyways, im sure we can trust this old friend tommy mentioned who is very good at magic- no, we shouldn’t go find a regular cleric, what if they sell us out to the Fantasy United States Military?)
darnold: either an elf or a half-orc transmutation wizard! he does potions with magic and gifts them to adventurers that all have various effects (he does have a habit of mislabeling them though, oops)
gman: elf warlock i think. something ancient and serves something even more so- however, he’s powerful enough (and immortal enough) in his own right to be the patron for another if needed. (yes he is pact of the blade and yes his weapon is his briefcase)
if anyone wants to know the other worldbuilding i came up with as i wrote this lmk

Updated Class Choices in Actual Play: main PCs
Original post here, I’m just doing the whole thing again instead of reblogging or something like that. Since making this post I’ve fully caught up with NADDPod and RQG and there’s been several new D20 seasons, so LET’S GO
potential spoilers for anything that isn’t a one-shot in Critical Role, TAZ Balance or Graduation, NADDPod, RQG, Relics and Rarities, and all D20 seasons. Also for reference: I’m counting Trinyvale and The Mavrus Chronicles as main campaigns, as well as all the D20 sidequests.
If a player or a PC leaves/character dies mid-campaign the character still counts as a main PC, as does that player’s replacement if the player themselves didn’t leave (eg: both Scanlan and Taryon are considered main PCs for CR campaign 1).
In a couple cases I did have to guess regarding what the base class was, for characters who were multiclass builds from the start, and I’ll note that.
Rusty Quill Gaming is pathfinder rather than D&D, and subclasses don’t fully line up (as for classes, most do and I’m counting Cel’s class as Artificer/Alchemist subclass in D&D).
In the case of subclass or class changes, which has happened a few times in D20 in particular, I’ve noted the change
Keep reading if you want the actual information!
Fighter is the most common, with 11, plus two multiclass dips into fighter. And, like D&D at large, human fighter is a very popular race/class combination. Champion is the most common subclass, with four characters (Magnus from TAZ, Hardwon from NADDPod, Fabian from Fantasy High, and Veros from Relics and Rarities). All but Fabian are humans, at least to start off, and Fabian and later Hardwon are half-elves. Bertie from RQG likely would have been the champion archetype in D&D as well. There are two battlemasters (Boomer and Jet, both from D20), and then it’s all over the place. The multiclassers are both barbarians multiclassed into battlemaster (Grog and Amethar). Of the fighters, one multiclassed into a rogue, one into a bard, and one (Jet) switched into fighter having originally been a rogue.
[edit on Nov 28 per an anon ask - Magnus is actually a Battlemaster despite Big Champion Energy! which means of the fighter-as-main-class, we have 3 each of champions and battlemasters, and Bertie from RQG which is pathfinder, and then one each of gunslinger (Percy), eldritch knight (Theo), arcane archer (Hungry Dave), and echo knight (Henry)]
Cleric is next up with 10, plus three characters who multiclassed into cleric. There’s no clear favorite for subclass - grave is the only domain with two characters (Caduceus and Efink) and the rest vary. Two characters, Kristen Applebees and Zolf Smith, have changed domains (and deities) over the courses of their respective campaigns. All but one of the dwarven main characters in actual play has been a cleric, and there have been a few humans, but otherwise it’s again pretty scattered. The multiclasses have also not shown a clear favorite (1 war, 1 city, 1 tempest). Note: I considered Fia and Saccharina both to be multiclasses into cleric, as well as Bob; no cleric base classes have multiclassed into another class. All the multiclasses into cleric are other spellcasting classes (wizard, sorcerer, and bard).
Barbarian and rogue are tied with 9 characters each, plus one multiclass into barbarian and three into rogue.
Barbarian: three berserkers, two each of ancestral guardian and zealot, and one each of wild soul and storm herald. There are two half-orcs and otherwise no race preference. As mentioned, two multiclassed into battlemaster fighters; there’s also a multiclass from barbarian into sorcerer (Fitzroy) and artificer (Gorgug). The lone multiclass into barbarian is Moonshine Cybin, a druid.
Rogue: there are two arcane tricksters, two inquisitives, and two swashbucklers, plus an assassin, a mastermind, and Sasha Racket who in D&D would probably be a thief. Thanks to D20 being like “toy is a race now” it’s hard to say what the overall race breakdown is, even counting all A Crown of Candy characters as human variants, but there are 1.5 goblins (Nott/Veth being the 0.5) and three confirmed humans (Ruby Rocks, Sasha Racket, and Marcus St. Vincent). Of the multiclasses into rogue, two are rangers who chose the assassin subclass (Vex and Liam Wilhemina) and one is a fighter (Magnus Burnsides, subclass not clear). The two rogues who multiclassed are Vax, who took levels in vengeance paladin and one in druid, and Ruby, who took levels in shadow sorcerer. (note: Jet Rocks is counted as a fighter as she gave up her rogue class entirely, but she was a rogue to start)
Bard is next with 8 characters, all but one of whom (swords) is a lore subclass, with one multiclass into bard. Fig Faeth was formerly a college of whispers bard, but switched into lore during Fantasy High Live. There are two tieflings and two fairies from D20, who I believe use elf stats, plus a high elf, a human, a gnome, and an aasimar. The multiclass into bard is Fabian Seacaster, a fighter; the multiclasses from a bard base class are Fig (into hexblade) and Bob (into city cleric).
Druid and Paladin are the next most common, with six characters; there is one multiclass into druid and two into paladin (and Vax is responsible for most of this)
Druid: The only repeat subclass is circle of the shepherd (Kugrash and Lillith) - the rest all again all over the place, and all six have different races. The multiclass into druid is the aforementioned Vax (rogue and paladin); the only druid to multiclass out is the aforementioned Moonshine (into barbarian).
Paladin: two oath of devotion (one of which, Ricky Matsui, switched to oath of redemption), one oath of the ancients and for a while, vengeance (Beverly), one oathbreaker (Cody “Night Angel” Walsh) and two are from pathfinder and difficult to determine from a D&D standpoint (Grizzop, of Artemis, and Azu, of Aphrodite). The races are completely all over the place again. None of the paladins have multiclassed, but there are two multiclasses into paladin (Vax and Fjord, a rogue and warlock respectively, into oath of vengeance and oath of the open sea, also respectively).
We have a four-way tie for next most common, with five each of ranger, sorcerer, warlock, and wizard.
Ranger: two beast master, two gloomstalker, and a hunter. There are two half-elves (Vex and Nyack) and no other real patterns. No one has multiclassed into ranger, but Vex and Liam W. both as mentioned multiclassed into assassin rogues.
Sorcerer: three draconic, one storm, and one wild magic. Two are human, and there are no other preferences for race. One (Saccharina) multiclassed into tempest cleric, and there are two multiclasses into sorcerer, both from battle classes (Fitzroy, a barbarian, into wild magic, and Ruby, a rogue, into shadow).
Warlock: three are hexblades, because let’s face it that class is extremely cool, one is a celestial warlock and one is a genie. No significant race overlap (technically, Lapin Cadbury uses the human stat block, and Iga is human) (I am assuming pactwraiths have revenant stats but like. who knows). The common ground for multiclassing into warlock is “Emily Axford likes to play hexblades”, with both Fig and Sofia taking levels in it; Fjord is the only warlock to multiclass out, into oath of the open sea paladin.
Wizard: two transmutation, one divination, one necromancer, and one chronurgist. Two are high elves, with no other preferences for race; Fia is the only one to have multiclassed (into war cleric) and no one has multiclassed into wizard.
And finally, tied for last but with four each, we have monk and artificer.
Monk: no subclass overlap until Sofia switched to Way of Shadow, but three are humans and one is probably a human equivalent (bittyfolk from Tiny Heist) - the subclasses represented are Cobalt Soul, Drunken Master, Shadow, and Long Death. No multiclasses into monk (like ranger, monk doesn’t offer too many benefits in a multiclass dip) but Sofia Bicicleta took a level in hexblade warlock.
Artificer: despite not being made official until relatively recently, this caught up, thanks to Zonk Verbena Zirk Vervain. Three are either alchemists or probably the equivalent thereof (Taryon is based on the UA version but is pretty clearly not a gunsmith, and Cel’s class is technically Alchemist, not Artificer, but Artificer with the alchemist subclass is probably the closest 5e equivalent), and one is an artillerist; no race preference. None have multiclassed, but Gorgug (barbarian) has taken a level in artificer.
And finally, there is one Bloodhunter, Mollymauk Tealeaf/Lucien is his name, murdering Cerberus Assembly members is his game.
-----------------------
several other fun facts from the giant list I made to do this:
Number of characters who have switched races or bodies during their campaign: 3
Number of characters who have switched deities/patrons during their campaign: 7
Number of characters who have briefly not had a class while their party was mid-level, with said change representing a major turning point for their character, but then came back stronger than ever having addressed the negative behaviors they learned from a seafaring father figure and having acquired a new plot-relevant weapon, and immediately multiclassed into a class that uses charisma for spellcasting: only two but it’s weird it happened twice
Number of characters whose first name or nickname is a food or drink: 6
Number of characters whose first name or nickname is a food or drink from A Crown of Candy: 0
Number of characters who typically go by only one name (ie, actively do not use their last name or any titles): 18
Number of characters who go by a given name and title/descriptor (eg: Adjective Firstname, Firstname the Title, Firstname of the Place): 8
Number of characters with three-part names (first, middle, last): 2
Number of characters with four-part names (first, two middles/a two-word nickname, last): 3
Number of characters with no name: 1

Another Hermit DnD au
Now I know there are a few DnD aus on here, but this is in reference to this being my second Hermit related DnD au; in this au, the Hermits are playing DnD while Pix, Zloy, Lyarrah, Joe Hills, and Cleo are the DMs (With Impulse and Tango ready to stop being players and fill in in case there’s an emergency.)  In game there all a guild of adventurers trying to gain some gold and glory; they travel around in groups of about 4 completing quests.  The DMs all take one of these groups and DM for them, and after a while the DMs randomly shuffle the players around and 4 new groups go off to play with a different DM.
Here’s what all the Hermits came to the table with.
BDubs made a Halfling Wildmagic Barbarian.
Cub made a Human Archfae Warlock.
Doc made a Tiefling Archfiend Warlock.
Etho made a Drow Shadow Monk who later multiclassed into an Arcane Trickster(and his reasoning for this is Monk/Rogue has the same ring as Batman.)
False made a Mountain Dwarf Battel Master.
Scar made a Wood Elf Circle of the Moon Druid.
Grian made a High Elf Gold Dragon Sorcerer.
Hypno made an Orc Enchantment Wizard.
Impulse made a Human Arcane Trickster.
Iskall made a Half Orc Totem Barbarian.
Jevin made an Awakened Pudding(homebrew class Zloy was testing out) Assassin.
Keralis made a Gnome Glamour Bard.
Mumbo made a Human Great Old One Warlock. Ren made a Half Elf Lore Bard.
Stress made a Halfling Circle of the Land Druid.
Tango made a Fire Genasi Eldritch Knight.
TFC made a Mountain Dwarf Battle Master.
Beef made a Human Evocation Wizard.
Wels made a Hill Dwarf Oath of the Crown Paladin.
XB made a Human Life Cleric.
Xisuma made a Human Way of the Open Hand Monk.
Zed made a Half Elf Lore Bard.
A short list of the group’s shenanigans include
Grian, Scar, Zed, and Mumbo teaming up to charm a dragon into giving them all one free favor each.
Grian using his favor to get enough gold to bail Jevin out.
Scar using his to fly a really heavy silver statue to a castle, compleatly avoiding the bandit ambush Cleo had planned.
Zed using his favor to have the dragon help him intimidate an evil baron.
Mumbo used his to get the dragon to distract some guards that were about to kill him, Doc, and Cub for being warlocks, and escape.
Cub once had to cross dress and pretend to be the Tooth Fairy, and ended up scaring a cruel orphanage owner into being kinder to her charges.
Grian: You know what’s better than one fire ball? Beef: Two fire balls.
Zed won a vicious mockery battle.
Ren lost a vicious mockery battle.
Zloy made this sword that’d try to make a player take a level in warlock, but the warlock trio got a hold of it, managing to break it into 3 pieces, taking almost lethal amounts of radiant damage in the process.
Stress managed to convince a small army of jungle creatures to help her defeat an evil wizard.
By the end of the campaign, Iskall will have proficiency in yeeting his team mates, and False, X and Bdubs will have proficiency in being yote.
Cub managed to get Doc to carry him around for a month.
Cub and Scar once stole a magic amulet from a dude by having Cub talk to him while Scar turned into a cat and steal it.
Scar and Zed once transformed into does, but got stuck in a fence running from someone.

New splash screen - getting all the mileage out of the commission from @ladyzolstice - to go with the adorable etc that is this party.
Going on down the Mining Consortium corridor, Alisaie got hit in the side of the head with a pumpkin pie ... courtesy Alli Sweetwater, who apparently is doing community service under heavy guard, having been booted out of Belarys for awhile after the recent Incident. Alisaie actually suggested sending her up north to learn some caution from the People. Alli Sweetwater was not happy with this idea. Her attempt to escape was thwarted by Darvin later.
They finally met the manager of that particular area of the Kobrea-Val Mining Consortium - one Mr Denebri - a dwarf of very little patience. Mr Denebri offered them a choice of how to get to the Salt Gate, through which they apparently have to pass to get to the dragon’s lair - go through the kobold encampment and deal with the behir that’s lurking in the area, or go through the deep gnome encampment and deal with a purple worm, which ... well, they generally like having something that basically naturally makes mining tunnels, but there are a few too many and that one’s getting mean and too close to habitations, and they need to do a cull. The group decided to go through the Up-and-Under, deep gnome territory, and deal with the purple worm ... as much to refill their personal and party funds as anything else. They may go for the friendly kobold encampment and the behir on the way back, assuming they can put themselves back together after the blue dragon well enough.
The mining cart ‘stations’ have vending machines. That was fun.
They also got to chatting with some of the locals. Barnabus got the Mom Friend sitting next to him. He got cookies. Hazel and Darvin got to hear a bunch of halflings placing bets as to what those adventurers were going to be killing. Froseth had a whole conversation with one of them. That was equally fun! He learned that the natural scientists that study the purple worms in the area have named them. The one they have sent to kill is named Bitey. The others are Squirmy, Digger, and Sue.
Their first stop was Cofferkey, a sort of mining town/city about an hour into the under-cliff territory. It was a bit of a marvel; a sort of art deco situation carved directly into, and out of, the rock, with high-rises carved to double as support pillars and enough light to at least be getting on with. They had a wait for the mining cart to the Up-and-Under, so they decided to stop for lunch and see if they could get some intel.
They found a saloon. Remi asked for drinks. That was it. Just ‘drinks’. She was given drinks. They all did something silly but overall harmless, as Remi noted when her hair started sprouting flowers. Hazel had to try one and turned into a ferret. Clarity followed suit and became pixie-sized. All three of them only had to deal with that for about an hour. Ava was still really pissed and kind of sharp about it, though she did subside when reminded that they just tripped over a cultural irregularity specific to Kobrea-Val; that Egref tended to cater to people not used to the “science is not the answer; science is the question and the answer is always yes” mentality of most of Kobrea-Val because they’re used to tourists but everywhere else, they were going to have to try to follow local customs. That has given Ava much food for thought.
They did finally get to the Up-and-Under, and met the mayor of the deep gnome territory. He guided them to the local saloon where there were apparently scientists who would have more information on them about the purple worm.
They went to the saloon and found two of the natural scientists - a very upright half-orc and a dwarven woman, both dressed in the kind of Steampunk Victorian Dashing Adventurer gear - arguing, with a halfling woman judging their arguments like an Olympic judge, a gnomish gentleman topping up their drinks while they weren’t looking to keep the argument going, and a drow woman who noticed newcomers in the saloon and immediately hid behind a book. They tried to interrupt the argument, and paused it briefly, but every time they brought up ‘purple worm’, the argument started up again. So now they have two weeks to think about how to make them stop arguing or at least aim some of the basic information behind the arguments in a Cupcake-ward direction.
So, yeah, in the new year, they meet Jahaverian Dicio-Esfanderi, Aqulinia Coban-Cinar, Oldwen Shatterstock, Hoxha Golnoosh, and Kaizra Eshraq, a group of travelling natural scientists who refer to themselves as the First Principals. Because even NPC groups need to have puns.

this is me asking about your campaign
Tumblr media
Anon, I am so fucking glad that you asked. Alight kiddies strap yourselves in and get ready to hear the story of Fortune’s Favor cause this is the hyper-fixation to end all hyper-fixations for me right now. (BTW, all art for the party members was done by @Tallinier on Twitter! She’s amazing and you all should go check her out right now!). Anyways:
Tumblr media
See that? That’s Ar’De. The main continent that our D&D campaign takes place on. You might have noticed that huge white sprawl right in the middle there. That’s called The Conflict Zone. That also happens to be the name of our campaign itself, The Conflict Zone.
The Conflict Zone is an area of the continent that has existed since the dawn of recorded history. It has always contained things that do not make sense and is home to creatures not of the material plane. The topography of it is constantly shifting, changing, re-arranging. It is impossible to map out. Portals to thousands of other realms are constantly opening and closing within its borders, and creatures from these other realms have recently begun to take notice of these portals in larger numbers. The Orcs, Humans, Elves, and Dwarves have all made a pact to do their best to contain this threat on their shared borders, but something is happening... While the shared governments are trying to keep it under wraps, The Conflict Zone is expanding. More and more things are coming through those portals, and those who live closest to it have been facing grave dangers and strange occurrences more and more lately.
However, our story doesn’t begin with The Conflict Zone. It actually begins with a man. A man known only as Gaust. 20 years before the events of this campaign, a powerful man known as Gaust led a violent uprising centered in the human country of Empiria that killed many people. Gaust himself supposedly had powers that were evil and astounding. On top of his own abilities, he had the power to give other people arcane abilities. It was said that his mere presence was enough to make those around him just as bad as he was. However, nobody really knows for sure, as nobody ever claimed to have truly met the man in person. That is, until the current king of Empiria, Ryborn Hauzer -
Tumblr media
(That guy) - slayed Gaust himself, and put an end to his 5 year reign of terror. Things were pretty okay for 20 years after that, and that’s where our heroes meet each other.
Why don’t we get to know our heroes? They’ve recently started to garner a reputation for themselves, and have decided to call their little group Fortune’s Favor (It’s a miracle none of us are dead yet, so we’ve gotta be somewhat lucky, right? Right?). They weren’t always a recognizable group of heroes though. In fact, they started out sleeping in the haymow of some guy’s barn, just outside the human capital of Union. With only a few coins to their name and a shared goal of joining the legendary Pathfinder’s Guild for various reasons, they decided to team up to try and earn some coin together, attempting to get past the nasty 500 GP application fee to even try out for the Pathfinders.
But enough about that, why don’t we finally talk about these lovable losers?
First up is Sarrali Farseer, a Tiefling Hunter Ranger 5 / Wild Magic Sorcerer 2:
Tumblr media
Sarrali found herself designated as the leader of the group rather quickly which was really concerning for her (especially considering that she’s the youngest at the ripe age of 21!). She’s never seen herself as much of a people person. She grew up on the rugged streets of Vandis, Empiria’s military capital in the harsh North. With her human mother in mental institutions, her father completely unknown, and a childhood full of horribly unfortunate mishaps and distrust from others due to her Tiefling blood, Sarrali grew used to the idea that her father might actually have somehow been the god of shadow, twilight, misfortune, and chaos - Vayn. After deciding to ditch civilization entirely at the ripe age of 16 with only a pewter charm of a bird in flight left by her mother to her name, Sarrali fled South to the Northern forests of Empiria with no idea how to survive on her own. She was found and taken in by an old human bounty hunter, Mordecai Swift, who taught her everything he could before he met his untimely demise at the hands of some slaver pirates when Sarrali was 18. Out for vengeance, Sarrali made the unwise decision to try and take on an entire camp of slavers on her own after finding her master’s decapitated head not too far outside the camp. She managed to take down 7 of them all on her own before she was captured. She spent a horrific month in a Port Des’Sali warehouse run by the cruel leader of the slaver pirates, a wretched dragonborn named Bodac the Blue. Sarrali survived many horrible things, including torture and receiving a mysterious brand on her right shoulder blade before she and all of the other slaves were freed when a mysterious man entered the warehouse one day, the right half of his body glowing with red flames. He proceeded to torch the place, ripping Bodac’s head clear off his body, and burning right through the cages holding the slaves. Sarrali ran away from the others and spent the next 3 years working for a morally decent smuggling ring in Port Des’Sali, recovering and steeling herself for the future. She had heard that some people believed the gods themselves might reside within The Conflict Zone, and she finally wanted to confront Vayn. Unfortunately for her, the only ones allowed within The Conflict Zone were high ranking Pathfinder guild members and other decorated soldiers. So, she had no choice but to arm herself with her master’s hunting knife, her trusty bow, and head out to Union to achieve her goals. 6 months down the line and things are going arguably well for Sarrali. She’s got people who care about whether she gets out alive at the end of the day, she’s started learning some ritual magic (including how to cast Find Familiar). She returned to her supposed birthplace, a mountain town named Overlook, in search of her mother and discovered that she has an older sister, a tiefling named Brandia.
Tumblr media
She also discovered that she was apparently human when she was born, as was her older sister. She learned that her father apparently wasn’t Vayn, but instead a human man known as Jaxon Farseer. Someone who’s family line is millenia old. Full of heroes, legendary dragon riders, and masterful archers. Her father disappeared shortly after her birth, and her mother apparently made a deal with a tall dark man who appeared in her dreams, allowing him to give her and her children his “blessing” to ensure that Jaxon would one day be rescued. Her mother accepted, and was immediately cast into madness as her daughters were changed in ways she couldn’t imagine. Odd, Sarrali’s been seeing a tall dark man in her dreams as well recently. In fact, he keeps telling her she’ll be the one to end the world someday, and he gifted her the use of Wild Magic... Hm.
Next up is Teael of house Arren, a Half-Elf Grassland Druid 5 / Hexblade Warlock 2:
Tumblr media
Teael is the bastard daughter of Chancellor Arren, a noble High Elf who lives down river from the Spring of Len. Teael Is an incredibly caring person, though her childhood was very lonely. Her step mother was kind, teaching her druidic magic like any of her other children, but her step sister was cruel to her and her father was rather indifferent, refusing to tell Teael anything about her birth mother. Tired of spending her life being ignored and mistreated in what was essentially a gilded cage, Teael fled her father’s estate and headed North with something to prove. Through fate or misfortune, she ended up at the same barn as Sarrali and decided to stick close to the rugged tiefling girl who seemed to know her way around a weapon a little better than she herself did.
6 months later and 24 year old Teael has sort of adopted Sarali as the little sister she never had. The two get along well and care for each other in ways they haven’t really had the chance to experience before. Teael finally has someone who will stand up for her, and Sarrali has someone who cares about how she’s really doing. Someone who wants to help her through the trauma she’s endured. Someone who cares. One of Teael’s main points of interest is that she somehow possesses the ability to summon 2 familiars at once. A grumpy large blue gecko named Nigel and a posh white Weasel named Eloise. On a rather.... improvised trip to the Shadowfell, Teael recovered the mangled body of a Drow servant who called her Lady Velodora (which also happens to be the name of the Goddess of Darkness, Death, Sleep, and the Moon... She’s also one of Vayn’s twin sisters!). After escaping the Shadowfell, Teael paid a good amount of money to have her new friend attended to by a revolutionary doctor and a high level cleric. The Drow has made a decent recovery, but is suffering from horrible amnesia. So, Teael gave him the name Vega.
Tumblr media
He later proved himself to be a rather accomplished wizard. He lives on a plot of land owned by Teael now, and he restored a broken down wizard tower there. His favorite pastimes include listening to Teael sing for him, reading, and studying new arcane affects. He isn’t the only friend Teael’s made recently though. On a mission into Orc territory, Teael recovered a strange black rod. After a dream that the party still doesn’t really know all the details of, Teael’s got a wicked looking new quarterstaff, and seems to have made some sort of deal with a woman (entity?) named Ebony. Before we set off on our latest adventure, Teael wrote to her father for the first time since leaving his estate to boast about how fine she’s doing on her own, and is eagerly waiting to hear back from him. She’s also a complete bi-sexual disaster, but the party loves her anyways. Oh, and one last thing. She also learned that if people found out who her mother was, she’d supposedly be killed on the spot. So that’s fun!
Third up is Rhak,  a Dragonborn Bear-Totem Barbarian 5 / Champion Fighter 2:
Tumblr media
Teael and Sarrali met up with Rhak once they were already knee deep in a mission back in Union. They needed some extra muscle, and just happened to see a very stocky dragonborn writing something down in a book and petting a small kitten on their way into the sewers. His common wasn’t that good, but he seemed so happy that someone had offered him work without being mean that he decided to protect his new friends on the spot. He’s been with the group ever since. Rhak was the runt of his litter back in the Dragonborn territory of The Free Isles. Though he still exemplified the traits that the Platinum Dragon, Bahamut, tried to preach. Rhak had never really been one to turn to violence. He preferred to read and try talking through his issues with others. Unfortunately for him that meant that he was bullied mercilessly as a child. Though the kindness of a half elf woman named Lucia, a sorceress in the Free Isles seeking the wisdoms of the Platinum Dragon, inspired him to stick to his own ideals. One day, when he saw some bullies picking on a much younger runt, he accidentally let his anger get the better of him and ended up killing one of the bullies. Thus, he was exiled from his homeland at the age of 15. Forced to wander parts of the world that he was tragically unfamiliar with, places where he was seen as an oddity, and forced to live a cripplingly lonely life. Lucky for both him and us, we found each other though, and he’s finally got true friends that care deeply for him.
Though he had to leave his lovely kitten friend Steve at an orphanage in Union before we set out on a larger adventure, Rhak is going strong today. He has a bear spirit named Ursula that gives him the strength to protect his friends and keep pushing forward. After an untimely demise in the stomach of a Rhemorahz, Rahk was saved by a very close Revivify and brought back. Though, not before he got to have a nice chat with Bahamut himself. Bahamut explained to Rhak that he was Silver Prime, and that he needed to help usher in the era of The New King if the world was to be saved from calamity. We were already carrying a dragon egg with us (taken from a bunch of kobolds months ago in some old mine). But after breaking open an artifact from the Shadowfell, the egg was transformed. After reaching Sarrali’s hometown of Overlook, we learned that it was home to The Roost. The former breeding ground of Empiria’s human-allied dragons. However, The Roost had been destroyed years ago in Gaust’s uprising, and the only dragon left there now was a Silver Dragon named Orphyrah. She gave Rhak her blessing, explaining that she needed to sacrifice herself if he was supposed to reach his true potential as silver prime. She breathed all of her life essence into a single scale necklace, which Rhak now wears and can use to call upon her spirit in times of need. While at The Roost, we were able to hatch the new king of the dragons, a platinum hatchling named Justifax. Rhak has been tasked with protecting him and uniting the other primes, and he seems to be taking that duty very seriously. Only time will tell how Rhak’s destiny affects the fate of the world...
Last but certainly not least, we have Theren Greybend. A Human Knowledge Cleric 7:
Tumblr media
Theren is the newest member of our group. We quite literally ran into him while fighting for our lives in the North recently, while on our way to Sarrali’s birthplace. Theren is a cleric of Magus, the God of Magic, Knowledge, and Secrets. The rest of the party doesn’t know too much about him yet, but we were in desperate need of a healer, and he got to witness the hatching of a new Dragon king with us, so he’s kind of stuck with us at the moment. Theren is a huge book nerd. He craves learning about any and all strange anomalies, and agreed to travel with the party on the pretense that we seem to run into stuff involving The Conflict Zone (his research specialty) a lot. We’ve basically become his latest research project, but that’s alright. He seems nice enough, and wants to help in any way that he can. Theren recently revealed that he possesses the odd ability to connect telepathically with a willing creature once a day, but who knows what else this guy can do? As far as we can tell, Theren is from one of the Western parts of Empiria, rather close to The Conflict Zone itself.
Now finally, you might be wondering: Alright, but how did all that crazy stuff start?
Well, the intro arc was far too long to append on to this post, but let’s just say that in an unfortunate mix up involving Dynamite, Sewer Zombies, and a Burning Lighthouse. Our rag tag group was pinned as prime suspects, and then later were offered a deal by this shady motherfucker -
Tumblr media
Ekkard, the right hand man to the King of Empiria. If we could investigate those three issues for him on the down low, he wouldn’t just waive our Pathfinder application fee, he would ensure that we were accepted, and would become one of the King’s personally invested in teams. Of course, he didn’t give us much of a choice, since he told us we had a month to figure it out or face exile from Union as a cautionary action.
So, on the job to clear our names and earn our stripes, we faced down more zombies, a flesh golem, an assassin, terrorist threats, bandits, exploding zombies, a re-kindled uprising of Gaust, and finally a huge bone serpent to save the city of Union and earn our freedom.
Long story short - we succeed, and thus, Fortune’s Favor was born.
-I’m always down to talk about this campaign, so if anyone has any other questions, please don’t hesitate to send them.

Hello everyone!
So I’m currently running a game & then playing in another.
From a previous post I mentioned I was playing a tiefling Sorcerer, so I wanted to use this time to talk instead about the campaign I’m running!
So far we’ve gotten through 3 sections, one of which was them receiving the quest. We’ve actually stayed on schedule with this one so far & im pretty happy about that!
Currently the party is level 7 (I started them at 5) & they will hopefully reach a high enough level to finish off the final boss (which I’m not naming yet). My goal is for their final level to be around 13-15. It’s a seven person party so I think they would be fine swinging in the lower level range, whereas with smaller groups I would want them to be 15 at the lowest.
Most of the players are new to dnd & we’ve thrown in a few home brews and house rules for the sake of making sure they’re having fun, rather then them having to abide by every rule strictly.
In the last section I felt so bad for some of my players, mostly because they were rolling Nat 1s on savings throws and ending up with their character crying or drooling. I probably allowed them to try again more than most would, but I’m a pretty soft DM when it comes to newbies. I’m not really into the whole TPK type of gaming.
Now here’s a list of my parties race & class! Enjoy!
Kenku - Sorcerer
Goliath - Paladin
Half Elf - Warlock
Deer Folk - Ranger
Half Orc - Cleric
Water Genasi - Wizard
Aasimar- Druid
•I know it’s an odd mix & a lot of race/class things that aren’t normally seen, but like I said, many are new and I want them to have fun and a bit more creative freedom. So far the party actually works super well together & despite it being an odd bunch they work super well for the campaign I wrote•
That’s all for now, & I’ll make a post about my tiefling soon!
Happy Rolling!!!
P.S. I chose to name all the sections odd things so I could give them funny things to label their notes as. So far they’re played through ‘David Bowie’s Wig’ and ‘These Elves Dont Make Cookies’
