His feelings for you aren't too obvious, but at the same times there are moments that are pretty telling if you're paying attention.

It's the way he holds onto you longer during hugs more than he does with anyone else

The way he always checks to see if you're still with the group and enjoying yourself while you're out with friends

And the way that he offers you any snacks and food he has first before he offers to the rest of the people with you.

The way that you catch his eye when you walk in the room, that he can't help but stare for a few seconds, admiring you.

The way that he'll slightly lean into you laughing when you're sitting right next to him

I could go on forever about the different ways Yuji loves you

But anyway, movie nights are a requirement when you're friends with Yuji.

He probably has a day every week that he invites you, Megumi, and Nobara to watch a movie all together.

Yuji always have an unsaid claimed spot next to you.

he dives to get into that spot, which changes depending on where you're still, and he does this before you're dating too.

If you're a movie nerd, Yuji gets so excited to talk to you about movies

And even if you're not, Yuji is just as eager to talk about movies with you

It's cute hearing him talk, please listen to him

but keep in mind, he could go on for a very long time.

when the confession eventually happens, it goes either one of two ways.

Yuji smoothly pulls it off with all his practice in front of the mirror paying off

or

he completely stumbles his way through it

but it's so cute and super sweet and genuine that it probably gets you to fall for him even more

If you ever confront Yuji about his crush on Jennifer Lawrence, he'll get so bashful.

I feel like Todo would be the one to tell you that Yuji mention to him during their days at their old school that he found Jennifer Lawrence.

You'll definitely have a Hunger Games marathon at some point in your relationship.

Pillow fights happen every few movie nights

especially if you argue about something in the movie

Like one of you didn't like something in it or are debating which movie of a series is the best one

The pillow fights decides all.

For actual fights between you and Yuji though, Yuji has always been good at making it back up to you if he did something wrong.

sometimes he needs space after an argument but he comes back pretty quickly.

one of the first fights he went to Gojo for advice and immediately regretted it. Gojo had some good advice overall but it was covered up by some story or stories he was telling while giving it and Yuji didn't make the connection

Megumi and Nanami offer excellent advice however for any situation

usually at least one of them can't bother with the situation if Yuji is asking for advice on what to do for a date or anything like that, but one of the two always respond when it's an argument because they know how much Yuji and you mean to each other

unless it's a silly argument ofc.

Nobara also gives great advice, but sometimes she's a lil too picky with Yuji on what she gives advice on and goes off on other things about him that he could work on

im sorry, she cares a lot but I feel like she would go on tangents sometimes. We still love her very much

But Nobara is such an awesome wingwoman for both you and Yuji

Girl has the best ideas for dates and gifts and so much more.

Gojo 100% ships you and Yuji if he finds that you're right for each other

especially if he notices that you like each other before the confession

oh my gosh he gets so excited that two of his students are into each other

he tries to help out a little by putting you on missions together and gets you two to run errands together too

different things like that but occasionally it's very obvious that Gojo is trying to set the both of you up.

Nanami has told Gojo numerous times to back off because he too is one of the first to notice the connection between you and Yuji.

but of course we all know that doesn't exactly work out.

Yuji even gets you a lil tiger plush, somewhat as a joke because of his high school nickname

He thinks it's really cute when you hold the plush and it always makes him smile to see the plush in your room

If you name the tiger after him, he dies inside due to your sweetness

If you also attend Jujutsu High, Yuji sneaks into your dorm room regularly.

He loves holding you and spending nights with you, especially after rough missions

and after certain events like with what happened to Junpei

Yuji was able to hold it for quite awhile but he eventually ends up collapsing in your arms, saying nothing.

usually he's the big spoon but it's moments like these that he just needs you to hold him tight and play with his hair

no words necessary he just wants to be close to you.

Moving on... Yuji plays with your hair and fidgets with your fingers quite a lot

Yuji allows you to do the same to him if you want.

He's always open to new stuff that you tell him about

Oh there's a new restaurant? Wanna go tomorrow? You wanna play a new video game or wanna go see a new movie? Just tell him and he'll do it with you. He'll even let you put makeup on him or paint his nails if you'll really eager to

Yuji will get competitive and he will try to get you to bet little things just for fun.

Also cat cafe dates?? I feel like Yuji would be so excited to go if you agree too

then he gets there and he scares some of the cats away by accidentally being too loud 😭

but the sight of you petting the cats and then snuggling up to you makes him feel better

except he didn't get to pet as many cats as you.

also dancing in your rooms together??

it'll be so random a lot of the times

but if there's music playing Yuji will try to get you to dance with him and if it's a really fun song, sing along as well.

Yuji hates when Sukuna talks around you and he tries to make sure Sukuna never talks directly to you

He doesn't want you to deal with him whatsoever

that doesn't stop Sukuna making remarks about your relationship in Yuji's head tho

especially since Yuji thinks about you a lot and Sukuna gets tired of it

He complained to you once about it when he actually managed to get a mouth to appear on Yuji's cheek

Yuji got so flustered and slapped his cheek so hard.

If you are ever assigned to fight against each other in training, Yuji immediately tries to change partners

Nothing against you, he knows that you're strong and he 100% respects that

Yuji is just extremely worried that he'll hurt you somehow

And he never ever wants to do that

Though if you do charge at him, he'll respond and up his defense if you're really going out

After that first fight that you start, Yuji'll become more comfortable with fighting against you in training

He was legitimately terrified when you came straight at him.

But you two fighting together? Yuji really enjoys working alongside you

Yeah, he worries that you might get hurt but you're so beautiful in his eyes when you fight

I swear the first mission you go on together even if it was before you began dating, Yuji got distracted by you fighting whatever curse and stared a little to long

the next thing you know is Yuji is being thrown back at a wall

Yuji quickly shakes it off but he refuses to admit what actually happened if you try to question him

If you tell anyone at Jujutsu High, they all can kinda place together the pieces and figure it out

Yuji also gets teased a little when showing off once or twice during training

The boring answer is, I love them both sm and preference between the two is rather mutable. They are so unique and there is some but not enough overlap in regard to their appeal to me personally, or to their appeal as characters for me to really pick a #1 favorite.

Like Engie is so much fun bc it's taking the "good guy" of the team (not the straight man character, but the nice guy character, big difference here) and trying to imagine what he would be like- or what it would be, to push him over the edge into something completely sinister. Turning him into something so unlike what he's known himself to be. Like what would have to happen to make someone like this snap? It's fun to consider thing like, was he always like this deep down? Or how has he confronted issues like this in the past? There are so many fun ways to run with his character.

Medic is more like, yeah he's evil and crazy, let's dial that up to 11. which is great too! He's an absolute hottie and it's not at all surprising the fanbase he's cultivated over time! He's unhinged <3 He's cruel and unusual <3 He is possessive <3 His tits <3

but, metaphorical gun to my head, if I had to pick one- it's Engie for sure 🙈 he's simply the short king we NEED!!!

Its also so funny I got these two suggested together bc like-  ok i know its probs bc anyone who follows knows they are my faves- but! I've had these two ideas for fics I’ve been working on for a lil while now (drabble ideas in the read below xoxoxo)

One which is Medic x reader x Heavy basically reader and everyone is chilling enjoying some drinks, they are super shy and inexperienced and get a little tipsy and is joking around like when the topic of sex is brought up. They're like, "ahaha yeah I'm waiting for the right person, idk~" the chit-chat is all fun and playful, only a little heated, but reader is sure they’re all just messing around. Reader sitting next to Heavy on one couch, medic sitting in an armchair right across. Feeling a lil drowsy, and less shy given the circumstances, they're leaning up against Heavy bc he’s a human space heater, soft, so mellow and cozy!!! They don't bat an eye when he loops a strong around them to pull them closer and kiss the top of their head. Though by the time the kisses and bear-hugs intensify, it’s far too late to try and get away now. The guilt of taking this too far with a friend as well as the knowledge he isn't single only make things worse, making Reader remember themself all at once, and lock up. Becoming frigid and awkward to Heavy's advances. Heavy doesn't miss a beat however, justifying himself with a sort of "we've noticed you're always so shy, you just need to get out of your shell a little :)" and after a bit of warming up Medic would be the one to try and intensify things.

Getting cornered like that by someone like Heavy would be scary, but if that happened WHILE Medic was right across the room like 😊💕🍺 would be TERRIFYING. Very hot and erotic, but also terrifying.

The other imagine/one shot I'm not sure what a plot/framing device would be, but its Engie and demo. Maybe something like, newbie to the defense squad is learning the ropes and gets flustered and like- very obviously distracted checking out the other two guys, and messes up some easy traps and; quite similarly to the situation above, a  little teasing and joking around goes further and further until reader ends up pinned under demo, Engie holding them down from behind trying to see if they can keep up. 

The idea/”plot” of this one is much foggier in my head rn, but,,, hotties. Dad bods, even.

so here are some byclair hcs

they are both big clothes sharers and especially will loves wearing lucas’s clothes but lucas has this one flannel of wills that he wears all the time. every time the party notices they get teases relentlessly and there are many oooooos.

they keep it really quiet in public because obviously its the 80s but they still get some looks and comments and will is always just like keep your head down but lucas always sticks up for him and totally put the people in their place. and then will is always like “ you didnt have to do that” and lucas is always like “ i wanted to nobody talks to my boyfriend like that” and puts his arm around his shoulder

we have seen previously that hopper had disliked who his kid is dating but not in this case. hopper is still super strict and the door is always open but hopper really likes lucas and invites him to stay for dinner all the time, and lucas is always so sweet and asks joyce if he can help with dishes and helps set the table and joyce of course always refuses the help. but hopper notices and he really does think lucas is great for will. long story short lucas is hopper- byers family approved

i saw a post where they do cross country together here and i think thats adorable credit to @im-not-a-joke

lucas and will are both really good in the kitchen and they love cooking and baking together. they will put on some music and get covered in flour and laugh and dance around the kitchen when they bake its always lighthearted and sweet. when they cook they pretend to be really serious chefs and order each other around the kitchen with their fake deep mean voices they never last very long before bursting out laughing.

they always do couples costumes for halloween and they both get super flustered everytime. jonathan takes 2 pictures of them together every year and they each have a little box or book with the pictures in them. they also plan the halloween party which takes place at lucas’s house and it is always the best party ever with great music (courtesy of will) great movies (courtesy of lucas) and great food (courtesy of both they made the food together)

you cant convince me el isnt a plant mom and she has a bunch of plants all over the house and one day will give lucas one of the plants and they name is wicas (will and lucas) its a little tomato plant and they swap it everytime they see eachother they are not the best plant dads but its still alive and it makes pretty good tomatoes

they are both big dog people and whenever they see a dog their both like “ lucas! look at the dog! oh my god awwww look at its little tail!” and will being pretty shy never asks to pet the dog but lucas the more extroverted one always asks if will can pet the dog because he’ll be damned if he boyfriend cant pet all the dogs he wants to. and they both just go crazy and pet all the dogs

This is one of my favorite pics of them both I love this sequence its the way Apo’s Beautiful face lights up and the cute way that he is smiling i want to squish him and smother him with love. The way that I was pulled in by Apo the first time I saw him bc he is one of the most gorgeous man that I’ve seen, but slowly and surely I started to read a lot of things about him and the stuff that he wrote and still writes so encouraging, full of love and support is what he always shows towards the people that he holds close to his heart and to his fans, is what still keeps me here. He is part of the select few actors that are genuinely so beautiful inside and out, I sometimes fear that a person like that can also feel lonely or sad 😔without showing it , and I know I as fan can’t do anything about it. My consolation is the fact that he seem happy right now and I’m happy that he found his person in Mile the one person that seems to understand the side of him that people/ peers of him from his past deemed “annoying” or “weird” I’m happy that he found his yin to his yang, his safe place and like he once said (I thought I was weird but Mile is weirder 😆) his person, the one individual that sees Apo as we see him, A great actor & and the most beautiful man that is not only super handsome but also an amazing human being(the cutest if you ask him ) ❤️ manifesting nothing but success and happiness for both MileApo ✨

With everything he's gone through, the protective instinct towards him is very strong. The fact he's so kind and puts so much positive energy out into the world after what he's gone through says a lot about the type of person he is. You can't change how others act, but you can work hard to promote the type of energy and goodness you want to see out in the world.

Apo is very good at drawing his own boundaries and taking care of himself too, which I admire. Leading by example is important! It feels more weighty when the person you admire also says: "Don't settle. Don't let others treat you badly."

And yes, lol, Mile is... delightfully weird. I really love Apo wouldn't settle for someone who merely "put up" with his quirks and found someone who delighted in them, just like the way Apo hypes up and delights in Mile's absolutely cringe jokes 🤣 They truly are each other's biggest cheerleaders and protectors.

the first and longest phase of this love triangle omg especially on bakugou’s end. i think bakugou would be the one to confront todoroki as he keeps seeing him getting close to you. “back off, crossbreed. you fucking dumb, stupid or dumb?” todoroki would literally be quiet and in shock that bakugou was noticing and from the fact that he’s pining for you too. “like hell i’d let you and y/n happen. consider this a warning.” now todoroki is not the type to cower so expect lots of confrontations between the two. “who are you to decide what happens? no one ever tell you superiority complexes aren’t a good look?” ahsgshjsk the sass 😭. kaminari and kirishima would try and ease the tension as best they can. passive aggressiveness around you and full on aggression when you’re not there lol.

phase 2 - kinda civil but not really

ahhh the second phase. something tells me bakugou and todoroki would want to show you the good sides of them. and for this reason, they would chill out with aggression. both of them are always secretly waiting for you to talk to them or even just look their way. lots of glances from afar and heart beating fast when you get put on a team together. everything is great until they’re face to face with each other. “shit.” you’d start trying to figure out how to complete the assignment and todoroki would suggest “we should go right.” “left.” he’d turn towards bakugou already getting pissed off but then turns towards you. “where do you think we should go, y/n?” both of them would be waiting for your answer, wishing you’d be on their side. “hmm let’s turn right.” you reply heading in that direction. “see? i’m more compatible than you.” todoroki pls 😩

phase 3 - pact ??

um they care about you sm ?? both are super observant and will notice when something is wrong. by this phase, they’ve already gotten used to each pining for you. doesn’t mean they want the other to end up with you. it’s just that they want to focus on you and how you view them individually. one day maybe something was really bothering you or someone, and it was just affecting everything you did. isolating yourself, talking less, or even your quirk was acting up. you’d think no one would notice, but oh these two do. “hey bakugou. did you see y/n?” “course i fucking did. something’s off.” these simps are worried even if they show it in different ways. would work together to try and be there for you. would ask you if you wanna talk and if you don’t want to, the door is still open for whenever 🥺

final phase - me or him ??

we have made it to the final phase, finally lol. this is when they’ve finally gotten over the fact that the other has strong feelings for you and has built a connection with you. phase 1 started with bakugou and final phase will be started by todoroki. he would pull bakugou aside to have a mature conversation that he plans on eventually confessing to you. and that he felt that it would be fair to let him know before he does. “i want to tell y/n how i feel. if you want to do the same, i’m not gonna stop you.” this time it’s bakugou’s turn to be silent. “whatever.” expect confessions in different ways and at different times. todoroki’s would be really sweet + straightforward while bakugou would beat around the bush a bit until he gets frustrated and just blurts it out lol. the important thing is, who would you choose ?? 👀

Mickey’s lounging on the couch, blissed out from an afternoon spent playing xbox and eating pizza rolls while Ian worked on the Gallagher house with Lip. Sleep is just about to pull him under when -

Ian chooses this moment to burst through the door, struggling over the threshold with a comically large box. Mickey sits up, rubbing the would-be sleep from his eyes and smirking as he watches Ian maneuver it into the apartment.

"No, don't get up, Mick," he calls sarcastically, "I got it. Didn't struggle to get this up here at all."

"You made it this far and all," Mickey teases. "Didn't wanna deprive you of your victory lap."

"You're - so generous," Ian pants, dropping the box unceremoniously on the floor and throwing himself on the couch beside Mickey. He tosses an arm over his face like he's just flopped over on a fainting sofa.

"Are you not going to tell me what's in this giant fuckin' box?"

"Shit from the house," Ian explains, voice muffled by his arm. "Lip packed up what no one else wanted, I thought we'd take a look."

"Oh great, I'll be sure to thank Lip for all the trash he saved for us."

Ian just chuckles and hauls himself upright, pulling the box closer and popping it open. Together they poke around in the remains of a life in the Gallagher house.

A hand mixer with only one beater.

A bag of aquarium rocks.

Old textbooks, passed down from sister to brother and onward.

And stacked between them: a photo album, thin and worn. Ian frowns as he picks it up.

"I don't recognize this," he says, laying it in his lap and running his fingers over the cover. He opens it gently and gasps at the first photo that greets him.

Mickey never met her, never got more than a glimpse of her as she tore through the neighborhood, but he knows Monica Gallagher by the crinkles of her face as she smiles up at him.

She beams at the camera, holding a baby in her arms - and Mickey knows without reading the notes scribbled underneath that it's Ian.

"Wow," Ian breathes, tracing Monica's face with his fingers. Mickey reaches a hand forward, lightly touching baby Ian's head. There he is.

There are only a few photos in the album - mostly combinations of Lip and Fiona holding Ian. They don't look at the camera; their gazes remain firmly on Ian.

There aren't any photos after this day. The shine must have worn off on the domestic bliss after that.

"No one wanted to keep this?" Mickey asks, suddenly sad that Lip had tossed these moments in a box of garbage. Ian's first day alive.

"They probably didn't see it," Ian guesses. "Family photos are few and far between. You know how it is. Not like now, where we all have hundreds of Franny or Fred pictures on our phones."

Mickey does know how it is.

Did anyone capture his first day in the world? He tries to conjure images of Iggy's chubby fingers reaching to hold him, of his mother smiling down at him. Birthday parties, first days of school. Did his first steps go unnoticed? Did anyone clap?

"I don't remember anyone even taking my picture until -"

Until Ian.

He thinks his mother must have, at least in those early days, maybe on some disposable camera. Maybe he just wants to think that. And if she did, that was all. They never made it to a frame. He never saw his younger self grinning down at him from the mantel.

But with Ian, he remembers.

During that summer before everything went to shit, he remembers Ian watching him. Then he'd surreptitiously hold up his phone, trying to snap candids of Mickey as they roamed around the neighborhood, drank beers at the dugouts, or lounged at the Milkovich house.

Mickey noticed him every time, but chose to let Ian have it. Chose to let himself be watched and seen. Sometimes he acquiesced to a fucking selfie, screwing up his face and pressing in close to Ian.

Those photos are mostly gone now, another victim of those lost years. There weren't any real photos of them together until they'd left prison. Ten years of history, existing only in the minds of those who lived it.

"I wish there were more," Ian says a little sadly. "Pictures of you. Of us. As kids."

"They'd be shitty, man," Mickey tries to joke. It comes out flat and bitter. "We'd have black eyes and dirty fuckin' faces in most of them. Don't need pictures of that."

"What do you think our photo album would have been," Ian asks, "if we'd grown up in a normal place? With normal parents?"

"I dunno," Mickey answers. He doesn't really like to think this way: what's done is done. But he indulges Ian a little. "Prom photos?"

"You never would have gone to prom," he laughs. "Parties, though. We would have gone to parties together. Costume parties, maybe?"

"Pool parties, eh? Fuckin' tailgates, or those lame high school house parties? With the red cups and shit."

"Graduation parties."

"Yeah, maybe."

"We would have had a lot of fun," Ian sighs.

"We did have a lot fun."

Ian leans over and kisses him swiftly, soundly.

"You're right," he says, still hovering by Mickey's lips. "I do wish I had pictures of us. Young, silly - safe. But I'm glad things are how they are."

"Yeah?" He leans in for another kiss, then pulls Ian into his side.

"Yeah," Ian tells him. "I don't need the pictures. I remember it. The Kash and Grab, the bleachers. I remember all of it."

Mickey hums happily, warmth spreading to his toes. "Me, too."

They're quiet for a moment, until:

"We have wedding photos," Ian says, clearly on the cusp of a very earnest train of thought.

"We do," Mickey agrees.

"That's - that's really special, Mick. And it's kinda the start, right? We have family photos now. We could start making albums of our own."

"You wanna stuff a bunch of photos in a book you'll probably never look at again?"

"Fine," Ian relents, "but we should start framing some, hang them up."

Mickey stills for a moment, considering. Photos of him, his life, on the walls of his home. The permanence of it settles warmly in his belly.

"Yeah," he says, kissing the top of Ian's head. "We should."
