Actually on the topic of speedsters being high-key energy vampires without realizing it, it'd be a super funny plot point if some extra dimensional travellers stumbled across their dimension and freaked the fuck out because 'HOLY SHIT THATS A VAMPIRE!!!'

And then the camera just pans over to Bart playing flappy bird in the corner.

I just think it'd be really funny if there was a dimension that just had really bad luck with speedsters and managed to only get bad speedsters who really took advantage of the whole 'draining energy to get more power' thing and the people of that dimension were just Super Not Cool with Speedsters™.

She Actually Built a Shrink Ray…

My best friend—Jamie—told me a while ago that she was working on a big project. After some prying from my end, she revealed it was going to be some sort of laser that would…do something with, like, atoms? And it would decrease them…I think? Maybe? When she started using science talk I kinda zoned out.

But she eventually dumbed it down for me, saying it would make whatever object it hits far smaller, which actually kinda made sense.

“So, a shrink ray? Like Honey, I Shrunk the Kids?”

“WHAT??? YOU DON’T KNOW THAT MOVIE???? IT’S A CLASSIC!”

“Nah you made that shit up.”

For someone so smart she’s a complete dumbass. Or maybe it’s just not a popular movie…

Anyways, it’s not that I doubted her ability, per se, but I was highly skeptical about whether that was even possible. I mean sure, the idea of shit from Honey, I Shrunk the Kids being real was very intriguing…but could she do it?

That question was finally answered today when she sent me a text saying ‘HAZELLLLL COME OVER NOWWWW ITS SUPER DUPER IMPORTANT 😱😱😱’, and I arrived to her house only to be dragged to her lab where I found…well…a big laser. It really did look like something out of a movie, appearing very similar to Wayne Szalinski’s own creation.

This is where I am now: staring at the large machine, shock and some slight skepticism evident. “Is–is this…?”

“You bet your ass it is! Here lemme show you.” She ran over to a box containing several big red building blocks, taking one out and putting it on a stool where the laser was aimed. She then moved over to some sort of control panel and fiddled with some switches until the tip of the laser was glowing yellow.

I watched in awe; her genuine scientific prowess never ceases to amaze me. Still, I couldn’t help but make a remark. “Y’know, I honestly expected the beam to be red. Maybe some blue glow mixed in.” I smirk.

She glared at me playfully. “Well sooorryyyy it’s not exactly like your stupid obscure movie.”

We laughed as she finished activating the machine. She beckoned me to her side and we both watched as an actual laser was fired onto the building block, making it glow in a similar shade to the beam itself. My mouth then hung open in complete awe as I watched the once large block slowly shrink until it was about as big as a fingernail. She then turned off the machine, and we both went to look at the results. Sure enough, the block was intact, and I picked it up between my fingers to get a closer look.

Well holy fucking shit. The block was exactly the same aside from the now smaller size, and I could see Jamie grinning out of the corner of my eye.

“This is…this is, well, revolutionary.” I couldn’t believe she built this thing, still caught up in the shock of it all.

“Oh but thats not all! Put the block back on the stool.” She instructed, rushing back to the control panel. I could tell she was just as excited about this as I was, if her happy little bounces and giggles were any indication.

I placed the block back and returned to my position beside her, noticing the tip of the laser was now glowing purple instead of yellow. The process then repeated, only this time I watched the block grow back to its original size. Incredible.

“I still can’t believe you actually managed to pull this off…”

“You saying you doubted me?” She gave me another lighthearted glare. “Aaaaanyways, you ready?”

Ah. Right. Because I love and trust Jamie more than anyone, also seeing her capabilities firsthand, I volunteered to help test her machines as a human subject. Is there an ethical issue with this arrangement? Maybe, but it’s cool.

However…

While nothing bad has ever happened to me as a result of previous tests, Jamie has a tendency to…mess with me during the process. She knows her machines more than I do, therefore knowing exactly how to fuck with me. Like the time she built some sort of emotional amplifier, activating it whenever I laughed until I was quite literally pissing myself and breathless on the ground laughing. Or the time she built that stupid artificial spider drone—Jeffrey, the fucker—and kept making it crawl into my peripherals to scare the shit out of me.

I love her to death but she can be a real pain in the ass during tests, using my misery to fully test the capabilities of her machines. The sadist.

This time though…this time was different. I would be completely at her mercy, too tiny to do anything but accept whatever she does. It was…thrilling, honestly. Will it be scary? Probably. Will I get annoyed? Maybe.

But she wouldn’t hurt me.

“Yeah yeah okay whatever, let’s get this over with.” I sat down at the stool, and Jamie gave me a knowing smirk. I watched the laser—which was now pointed at me—start to glow yellow again, but despite the nerves I could never miss a joke opportunity.

“I am not missing the mall today.” I huffed and rolled my eyes, truly embodying my inner Amy. Jamie just stared at me with the most deadpan stare I’ve ever seen.

“I am so glad I finished building this so I don’t have to deal with your bullshit about this movie you’re so obsessed with.”

“Oh cmonnnnn. Youuuu loveeee meeeeee~” I taunted in my singsong voice. But at that moment she smiled and the machine was activated.

The feeling of the beam hitting me is…hard to describe. The best word I can think of is tingly. An almost soft and fuzzy sensation filled my body as I watched the world around me get bigger and bigger. It was one thing to see an object shrink, but a whole different experience to actually see the world grow while you get smaller. Tables grew taller, tools became gigantic, things that were once so close by slowly felt miles away. Even the stool I was sitting on transformed into more of an open landscape in my eyes.

After some time the world stopped warping around me, and I stood up to take in my surroundings. I was so familiar with Jamie’s lab, and yet it seemed like a completely new room from this perspective. I could notice cracks and rough edges around me with more clarity, notice particles of dust flying through beams of light. I glanced down from the stool and it felt like I was on top of a whole fucking mountain. This was absolutely insane, like h—

“Holy shit!” Jamie’s voice boomed through my ears, and I had to raise my hands to cover them from the vibrations that practically shook my whole body. My ears started ringing. A shadow now loomed over me, and looking up I could see Jamie towering above. From the look on her face, though barely legible due to the distance, she seemed to notice my more sensitive hearing.

“Oops, sorry Hazey.” Her voice fell to a calmer speaking tone, which no longer rattled my eardrums as I slowly lowered my hands. “I can’t believe that actually worked!”

I laugh, smirking. “Oh look who’s doubting herself now.”

She pauses for a moment, then speaks again. “I can barely hear you.” She chuckles. “That’s new.”

“Hey!” I pout, also noticing she’s cupped her hands. She lowers them down to the stool, and it looks like an offer to climb in. I accept, stepping onto her palm and balancing myself.

“Just don’t lift me up too—“ I feel her hands rocket up towards her face, and I fall over from the sheer force of it. Dark spots quickly faded in and out of my vision “…quickly.”

She chuckles softly. “Sorry about all this, you’d think I’d have thought about how to properly treat you with how much preparation I did.” I stood back up and met her eyes. They were huge, and I could really take in the rich shades of brown within her irises. “But speaking of you,” she left me standing on one hand while she moved the other to ruffle my hair with her pointer finger, “you are so fucking cute! You’re like a little speck on my hand!!”

I blush furiously, not used to being the short one. “Hey! I’m not that small!” Being in her hand I could see I was about the size of half her finger.

“Awwww poor wittwle thing~” She continued to coo and rub the top of my head. I hate the fact that it actually felt really good. Is this how she was gonna mess with me this time? Taunting me for being short?

“Stoppppp!” I whined through giggles, starting to melt at the contact but being unable to actually do anything about it. I already know my face is completely red. She knows me too fucking well.

Her finger starts to softly shove me around a bit, rubbing ever so often. I get a bit dizzy from the overwhelming tenderness of it all.

That comment makes my mind and heart stutter, and I really start to take in just how powerless I am in this situation. “No no no no no please! Jamie!” But it’s too late. I’m fully inside her mouth at this point, her tongue now flipping me over to hold me down against the bottom of her mouth. I try to push myself out, but she’s too strong. I feel tears start enter my eyes.

Leading up to the eclipse is crazy cuz like. It started to get dark, but in a way I never experienced darkness before. The best way I can describe it is like... the world felt like it was getting slightly less saturated. Like a gray filter was slowly being cast over the world. Thats honestly the best way I can describe it and no pictures could do it justice because it just looks like a normal ass slightly-desaturated picture

(It was also wild since i frequently struggle with derealization so its normal for me to feel reality is skewed, but I can always visually confirm reality is normal- whereas this was the opposite. I felt grounded, but reality visually looked skewed. It was wild LMAO)

And as the shadow of the moon approached, you could see the dark on the horizon! It looked super similar to like- the darkness you'd see on an approaching thunderstorm, that sort of darkness in the skies

Also crazy how bright it still is with even a sliver of sun remaining!

And then totality hit and my god... Pictures dont do it justice... Absolutley BREATHTAKING!!! It almost had a blueish hue to it unlike the yellowish hue the sun normally has!!!

Also have this video that really captured the vibe of the eclipse in general!!! AS A NOTE I GOT ONE THING WRONG- I THOUGHT WE WERE ABLE TO SEE JUPITER, THATS VENUS. I DID AN OOPSIE THINKING IT WAS JUP.

But yeah it got cold! Like not freezing but nighttime cold! And it was dark like sunset dark! We were on the very edge of totality so we only got it for like a minute or so but WOW!!!

And then we hung out with my cousin for way too long because he's cool or whatever... and then got home at like 3AM. And then I had work the next morning. Needless to say I was a LITTLE dead, but soooooo worth it!!!

Replicate the famous enchanting table area from hit server Area Unknown SMP! This set contains 3 Mini figs - Aimsey, Guqqie and Michela!

OKAAY HOLLYYYY SHIT. So. I started working on this march 30th after I made a lego themed thing for my work! I made a lego version of our work like character person lmfao and i was like hm... this is super cool i kind of want to do my own project with this! So i thought ooo I can make either area unknown or maybe like soul swap! so I was watching michela and was like hai would you reckon AU or SS would be cooler in lego and she said probably area unknown and so then i set off designing the characters! I started with Guqqie’s first and did the jacket. I made it while watching the lego batman movie because its a baller movie... BUT ANYWAY YAS! So i started with the jacket. Because this was the first time I was doing this and really didn’t know how to go about recreating the lego look in terms of lines and stuff so i used 2 of the mecabricks like lego designs and mushed them together annd then from then on i kind of got a feel for everything and was able to design my own more effiencetly! Once i finished guqqie i moved on to to michela’s! and holy shit hers was a bit of a nightmare LMFAO. so i started with the hat because there was no actual bucket hat i used a top hat and then edited it to get the right shape before adding on the axolotl bits! the rest of the design was quite simple and then i went to the hair. GOD. okay so i used 2 mixed together and her bit at the front is actually a pony tail that i re-sculpted and meshed and it made me want to end it all a bit... I was going to add her jacket but i just didn’t know how and also valued my sanity a bit so i decided to Not do it. Before moving on to aimsey’s i actually did the build portion! and MY FUCKING GOD. okay so basically i couldn’t find flats for the minecraft textures that were HD enough so i decided to pixel by pixel recreate every single one! Every. Single One. All of the blocks are 16x16 i believe and i hand colour dropped everyone from shitty screenshots i found of the blocks. Mapping them in blender would seem easy! its just a bunch of cubes and rectangular prisms... but no No it was not. trying to lego ify it was even worse. so like i found a youtube vide that showed how to use geometry nodes to create the lego effect but it just didnt have the effect i wanted so i went ahead and did it by hand... and then i had to fucking RE MAP every block because it fucked it up... i only wanted to slightly end it all... and then finally i went back to aimseys design! you cant really tell but the arm cast is actually seperate to the arm! i duplicated the piece, scaled it up slightly removed a bunch of the bits and then used the solidify modifier and then mapped the bandage on it! I sculpted the horns form 2 circles and then just kind of deleted random bits for the broken one lmfao! once all that was done i rendered them all adding them illustrator where i designed the box and then brought THAT into blender to get renders of the box! I then added all 3 minifigs, the build And the box into 1 blender project to create a cool epic scene to show off the complete set! and thats how i did this!

But the amount of disrespect multishippers get in this fandon is absurd. I love writing dnf, it's genuinely super enjoyable to me, but I also love writing dnn cause it's so fun to play around with dynamics and I swear some dnf shippers think I'm the scum of the earth for that

It really bothers me the treatment creatives as a whole get here. People are so picky about what they read because at one point there was so much to read

Especially nsfw authors and artists. There was a whole witch hunt taking place days before the most recent collapse and as a creative it was terrifying to see what main was doing to people who specifically cordoned themselves off

And holy shit the one author who like a week before who wrote a fic featuring a certain topic that was close to them and they were just getting harrased so hard

Oh yeah I didn't mean to discount any shit multishippers get, I just don't follow many multishipper writers/artists/etc. because its not something I often seek out. But everyone that i do see/follow thats a multishipper I make sure to support where I can and I'm definitely not one to turn a blind eye to people's harassment on the internet just because they prefer one ship over the other- I've been on the internet for too damn long to be doing that shit lol

I agree that any creatives in this fandom get shit no matter what because people feel entitled to art of any form and its disrespectful to everyone

And yes I was aware of the witchhunt and I knew many moots that were affected by it and its horrible that shit is even happening

they continue to converse and i space out.

‘so the new student was bora. she transferred here faster than i thought..’

i sigh and continue to look at them.

after seeing them together again, its clear that they are made for each other. its not that i'm jealous.. either ways i still have the same relationship i always had with him. i’m lowkey glad i didn’t tell him what i was thinking earlier. its better to not say anything about my feelings for him. i have to act cool and be there for him… as a friend.

suddenly, i hear i slurping sound next to me, snapping me out of my thought.

“why aren’t you putting that on?” a deep voice that belonged to junghoon said as he stands next to me.

i look up at him confused and tilt my head slightly.

he seemed to have read my expression and he points at his forehead while drinking his milk tea.

“ohh my forehead. i forgot.. ill put it on again.” i place the carton on my forehead again and the avert my gaze back to jinsik and bora.

junghoon looks where im looking and huffs.

‘just as i thought’

“l/n y/n.’’ he calls out.

i hum and look up at him again.

“do you like ham jinsik”

“no. not at all.” i say blankly as i shake my head profusely.

“hm if not then never mind..” he responds plainly, sipping his tea again.

‘WHY DID HE ASK ME THAT SO ABRUPTLY?! jinsik hasn’t noticed..so i couldn’t have been THAT obvious.”

i start thinking if i said anything to junghoon that made him say that. maybe.. he saw me looking at them melancholically. i mean.. i was just thinking that they look great together.

i look over at them again and then see bora put jinsik in a head lock.

“ah bora.. i cant breathe..” jinsik grunts trying to get out of her grip.

“you owe me chicken ok..?!” she tells him the loosens her grip.

bora and i lock eyes with each other and she comes running up to me.

“oh? we met yesterday didn’t we!?” she asks energetically while grabbing my hands

i nod slowly, kind of startled.

“ahh no wonder you looked so familiar! you’re jinsiks friend right? i heard so many great things about you!” she says quickly with a big smile.

‘so this is her personality..?’

“im sooo glad to meet you!~~ and we in the same grade tooo! im moon bora~ lets be close! can i have your number?!” she rambles excitedly.

my head spins and she starts throwing a bunch of words at me so fast.

“m-my number?” i say confused.

she nods.

i start to think. it will be more awkward with bora if i get closer to her since.. she’s kind of like a love rival to me. i just have to reject her.

“i wanted to buy something delicious for you as an apology for yesterday~ please” she say softly.

‘AHH HOW CAN I REJECT HER.. SHES TOO NICE T-T’

i tell her my phone number and she quickly copies it down on her phone happily.

after school, jinsik, junghoon and i decided to go to a cafe before going to a book store.

i start taking pictures of the cupcakes jinsik got for us so i could sent to bora.

ever since then, me and bora started texting each other.

i thought she was going to have soft and gentle personality, but the one that she has… is far from it.

'‘hm it seems you gotten very close to bora huh?” jinsik asks as he sits next to me.

“oh.. you think so? i wouldn’t say we THAT close..’’ i answer.

“but, bora’s personality is very different form what i thought. its a bit..-“

“like a beagle?” he cuts me off and smiles.

i nod at his comparison.

“was soon a you take your eyes off her she jumps all over the place. and she’s really bright! thats why its so fun to be friends with her” jinsik explains while blushing a bit.

“yeah she’s seems like a great friend.” i say with a smile.

we all start eating the cupcakes silently, enjoying the taste.

“ah.. right my birthday is going to be soon.. what do you think would be a great gift that you would feel happy to receive from someone you like?” he asks as he rest his head on his hand.

“she asked me what i wanted as a gift.. but i dint want to be burdensome to her, i just hope it will be something meaningful.” he then says blushing even more.

‘if he already thought of that.. then why is he asking for our opinion..’

“hmm maybe a letter? i dont know there must be something better..” i throw out an idea and continue thinking.

“phone case.” junghoon says blankly before taking a bite of a cupcake.

“..a phone case..?” jinsik asks slightly confused

junghoon nods.

“yes. you can buy one for her then buy a matching one for you.” he shrugs.

jinsik and i look at him impressed.

“oh..” we say in unison.

after we finish eating, we start walking to the book store.

i walk in between the two guys.

jinsik continues to ramble about the phone case idea and we have no choice but to listen.

while walking, we pass by a photobooth truck that catches jinsik’s attention.

“lets do that!!” he exclaims as he grabs me and junghoon’s arm and drags us.

“ham jinsik.. are you serious..” i utter, not impressed with the idea.

“mm please we have enough time to take a picture and then go buy books!” he begs pushes us in the booth.

suddenly, jinsik’s phone ring causing him to step out.

“ill go take this real quick” he smiles and steps away.

i nod and i turn around to see junghoon putting in some money to the machine.

‘this is kind of awkward..’

“hmm what pose should we do..? should we use the props?” i ask junghoon and grabs the nearest prop.

i look down and see i grabbed poop glasses.

“um i think ill use these heh..” i say while putting them on.

just then, jinsik comes rushing in with worry in his eyes.

“hey guys..i’m sorry but i need to go to the hospital.. there’s an emergency..i know e promised to go to the bookstore together.”he says apologetically.

“huh? the hospital? if its something urgent then you should go!!” i quickly tell him a motion him to hurry.

he nods and starts walking off

“i'll call you later junghoon.. see you guys.”

we wave goodbye and he rushes away.

‘i hope everything is ok.. im really worried..’

“uh.. should we go too? we can go to the bookstore another day..lets g-“ i turn around and see junghoon with his hands filled with coins.

…

“hm whatever.” he shrugs and stuffs the coins in his pockets and starts walking out.

‘tch what’s wrong with him…’

i think for a second then i finally call out to him.

“hey..since we already here, should we take some pictures…? its ok if you dont want to! its just so we can use those coins! they must be heavy for you.” i ramble as i scratch the back of my neck awkwardly.

‘did i act too impulsively? were not even close enough to take pictures together!!’

“its ok if you refuse! you might hate the idea of us taking a picture-“

“i dont hate it.” he cuts me off as he starts walking towards me.

“huh..?”

“i said i dont hate it. lets take a picture, together.”

he said while walking past me inside the photobooth and stated putting in the coins.

i look back at him in shock.
