2024/01/20 aknot only Gorilla Hall Osaka - Report

I only applied for this date on this tour, so I feel super lucky to have gotten it, especially for such an iconic anniversary!

This was my first time at Gorilla Hall, but the entrance process was super organized and easy. I had quite a high ticket number, so was fairly far back when I first got inside, but I could see the stage, so wasn't too bothered. HOWEVER, there are no rails in Gorilla Hall other than the front rail! So as soon as the lights went down for the show to start, there was a big rush forward, and I pretty much found myself nicely mid crowd, only a few meters from the front, shimote of course! Happy!!

From the start there was so much fan service! Kaoru and Die standind together, Die and Toshiya standing together, Kaoru and Kyo standing together, everyone gathering around Shinya....even in the first few songs!

Die and Toshiya in particular looked...close. At one point Die stood behind Toshiya and rested his chin on Toshiya's shoulder, spoke in his ear, and after that even got down on his knees and played his guitar while looking up at Toshiya! 

Yes, I did see the other members a bit this time, haha. There was a spotlight behind Kaoru for quite some time, which would shine directly into my eyes and blind me whenever he stepped out of its beam, so I was forced at times to look elsewhere to save my eyesight 😂

Kyo was still bald, all white make up with black eyes. He looked really spooky. 

Toshiya was in his sparkly dress to start, and for the encore he wore a leopard print shirt, with the tiniest tight shorts ever. I only saw his shorts at the end when he stood up high on the truss, and I initialy thought he had lost his trousers somehow, haha (his shorts really just looked as small as underwear), but then i realised this was his actual outfit 😂 

Kaoru was in his black jacket/white shirt/waistcoat combo, looking like a total aristocrat. Blonde hair, combed back 😍 And for the encore he wore a White Zombie band tshirt! 

Kaoru was using his pink ganesa for Yurameki at the start, but changed to a few other guitars during the rest of the show. He also took off his black jacket few songs in.

So many of these songs were songs that I was listening to when I first became a fan of Dir over 20yrs ago, so it was actually surreal hearing them all live together like this. Especially having just watched the newly released footage from 1999, hearing Schwein, Tsumi to batsu, Byou shin, Karma together...omg, it was overwhelming! 

And Akuro no oka! The audience was quiet for the whole song, and gave a respectful applause when it finished. It was really emotional. 

My fave part of the encore was actual during Filth! Something came over Kaoru, its almost like he became the song...he was roaming the front rows of the crowd with his eyes, but his facial expressions just exuded the MOST erotic filth! Its like he was thinking about dirty, dirty things, and it showed on his face! If I had been in the front few rows, I would be dead for sure! 

At one point I saw him pointing straight in my direction, with his head tilted and eyes half closed, but that wasn't during Filth, haha. 

I didn't catch anything this time, but I did get watered on by Kaoru, Toshiya, and Die, so Im happy! Kaoru's bottle flew straight over my head, and when I was on my way out I saw a big puddle of (real) blood on the floor where it had landed, so Im assuming there was either a struggle, or someone had slipped on the water that splashed out of it. But there was a venue staff member standing there to stop people walking through it on the way out. 

Kyo, Shinya, and Toshiya left the stage, and then Kaoru smiled and pointed at Die before leaving. The Die came over and tapped the mic, and said, 'Can I say something?' 

He gave a really emotional speech about how they have come this far due to the support they have from fans and people around them, and he acknowledged that Dir en grey will have to end one day, due to the members being only human. But until that time, they will continue to cherish playing lives and being with fans. Then he said like, 'so Im not gonna let you die before us, promise me' 

You heard it everyone, you gotta look after yourself, and keep living for Dir, and they will do the same for you!

His style is lots of oversized baggy clothes, a hoodie here or there but mostly bold t shirts, very grunge, very tumblr boy. His look reflects the care and attention he's gotten as a kid, which is obviously not a lot

Deffs has his ears pierced but hasn't braved his first tattoo yet

He's pretty musically talented all around, he once picked up piano pretty well

Very artistic, he definitely has a sketch book hidden somewhere and the sketchbook definitely includes Kiri's portrait more than once. The kind of kid that always has graphite on his fingertips

Plaits his hair in cool styles, loves incense, would be into Yoga however he's never had the space or the vulnerability to try it in any of his foster homes.

Very popular at the children's home, lots of the younger kids look up to him and he has some cool friends his own age from there as well

Bright in school, though he can be cheeky so ends up in a few detentions, definitely has ADHD as well (high functioning)

when Norm called Jake and Neytiri and asked if they were willing to foster a kid for a few weeks, Lo'ak was Not Impressed

Tuk was delighted and Kiri and Neteyam were skeptical

The kid really needed fostering though due to a safeguarding concern (oh no Papa Miles found out where the children's home is but isn't allowed to see him so the only other option was to send Spider away across the country to another children's home)

As soon as Spider walked in the door Lo'ak knew they were gonna be thick as thieves, all trepidation vanished

Neytiri gives a warm welcome, but allows Jake and the kids to show Spider around. She definitely never tries to mother him, and Spider can feel that, it doesn't bother him (most of the time)

Jake is definitely in a wheelchair, and when he sees Spider's skateboard tucked under his arm on the doorstep he knows there's gonna be some wheel jokes

Spider is of course always respectful but the kid has banter, and Kiri and Lo'ak are all over it

Jake finds out his fave food is peanut butter and makes peanut butter chicken one night. The fam have never tried it before but it's an instant hit

Lo'ak and Spider sneak out together all the time, hanging around street corners and parking lots at night, and sometimes Kiri comes too

Spider got Lo'ak into skateboarding, Lo'ak eventually ditches his bike

Tuk is enamoured by Spider's hair, she thinks it's really pretty. Spider is great with her, because he has so much experience with younger kids in the children's home

Spider loved Kiri no doubt, but he's ace af so never thinks of her in that way. Kiri loves him back easily and they just know their souls align.

Someone at school once started taking the piss out of how friendly Kiri and Spider were, esp that they were foster siblings, and Lo'ak punched the guy square in the jaw, causing a big fight in the hallway and Lo'ak to get suspended for a day

Spider looks up to Neteyam, a little bit wary of him at first when he moved in, but doesn't see much of him since he's older and keeps himself to himself a lot

Neteyam will be going off to college soon (he's like 17 in this AU purely for the older bro vibes) and Spider can see that he wants that for himself as well, eventually

one time Neteyam catches Lo'ak and Spider sneaking in at like 3am from the skatepark and says that as long as they don't do it again he won't snitch on them

Neteyam notices a car parked on the street outside their house over a few days that seems kinda sus, and he mentions it to Jake, who tells Norm, who tells social services, because what do you know, it couldn't possibly be the dangerous Papa Miles stalking his son could it?? Just a nightmare • Simi

“Kimi, wake up,” Seb asked him, this time a bit louder, “It's time to—” Seb wanted to say but the speed with which Kimi woke and sat up almost sent Seb off of the bed, the only thing keeping him there was Kimi hugging him, head pressed to his chest. 

“Seb, you're here,” Kimi said, Seb's heart thundering under his ear. “Oh my god, you're here...”

“I'm here,” Seb nodded, pulling Kimi closer to his chest, running his hand through his boyfriend's blond hair and then hugging him back, both arms around his head, “I'm here, love. I'm here,” he repeated while kissing his boyfriend's hair and trying to take some deep breaths to slow his heart down because that could help Kimi too.

Charles was beautiful like this, his green eyes glowing, a soft smile on his face as he was levitating between a dream-like place and reality. He had never imagined their first time could be this amazing with Carlos being incredibly gentle, taking time to prepare him, not wanting to cause pain or any discomfort, always asking for permission and everything. It was like a dream. 

“We'll have time for that later too,” Charles whispered, drawing shapes on Carlos' right upper arm, enjoying that nobody will bother them because they're alone as Carlos' parents have gone from home for a few days. 

“You like to snuggle, no?” Carlos asked, sliding his left hand down on Charles' back all the way to his ass, resting it on the cheeks. They were lying on Carlos' bed, all naked, Charles' body sticking to Carlos' because of Charles' own cum on his stomach. They should really have a shower but Charles enjoyed the snuggle too much to care.

Sebastian took the thin paper out of the box and when they caught a glimpse of the soft, red lace bralette laying beautifully on the beige satin material which the box was lined with, tears started filling their eyes. It was such a big step for them to buy something like this. They could feel some kind of relief. They were alone, they had their first-ever bralette and they were ready to try it on again and maybe wear it for a while.

Sebastian took off their t-shirt and lifted the soft, red lace bralette out of the box. Their hands were shaking a bit but they tried not to care about it as they put the bralette on.

Sebastian took a deep breath and tried to get used to the feeling of wearing a bralette. They looked down at their chest and smiled. This was the feeling they were looking for, for a long time. Relief, happiness, and confidence. They can be themselves now after all the years of trying to suppress their real self. Sebastian was proud of themselves for finally taking this big step.

“You weren't the one that had to experience seeing his husband almost die at home and then in the ambulance too. I was the one who had to see it and hope that I won't have to leave the hospital alone, Seb,” Kimi said, finally looking into Sebastian's eyes, “I can't think about death like it's something... It's not a part of my plans to see you leave me alone for the rest of my life. If you have to go, I want to go with you. It wouldn't be the same without you.”

“I'm tired of Ferrari,” Carles said, not letting Max finish his sentence. “I'm tired of being Il Predestinato and I'm tired of always fucking up and I'm tired of not having one single race where everything works and we win and I'm tired of always doing my best but never being good enough and I'm also tired of always just saying that the next year will be ours. No, it won't be. It hasn't been ours in the past God knows how many years either for fucks sake!” Carles raged, slapping the surface of the kitchen island with such a great force the sound made Max twitch. “Fucking shit,” Charles muttered under his breath, feeling his palm burn and tears filling his eyes.

“Cariño,” Carlos breathed in relief as he hugged Lando tight, their hearts racing so close to each other they could nearly touch and become one strong and scared pump finding its healthy rhythm again as Carlos and Lando breathed into each other's neck, not letting the other go for long, long moments.

“I just don't want you to be in pain,” George murmured, moving closer to Alex to cuddle him.

“I'm not in pain anymore. You're a good nurse, Georgie. It could be a good second carrier for you after retirement” Alex smiled, changing their position a bit so now he was the one cuddling George. George needed it more, it was clear. Alex held him close to his body, his naked torso radiating warmth towards George's face. It was nice for him to feel Alex this close. Alex was gonna be okay. It's just a small injury, George kept reminding himself.

“Maybe as your personal nurse, if you keep getting injuries.”

“Maybe I'll keep getting them so you can nurse me back to health every time,” Alex said, with a soft smile, kissing George's soft and a bit messy hair.

“You like it, yeah?”

“I always like it when you're here with me,” Alex confessed, fearing George could feel his heart racing in his chest because he was only a few millimeters from it. “I like you.”

“Maybe I like you too,” George murmured, looking at Alex for a moment before putting a soft kiss on his lips and then burying his face into Alex's chest, feeling the pounding of his heart on his cheek.

“Are you alright?”

“Just an anxiety attack coming,” Lewis opened his eyes to look at his engineer, “I'll be alright, don't worry. I'm trying to… Breathe through it.”

“No, she deserves to have a rest. And you're here,” smiled Lewis lightly. “Your voice helps.”

“Want me to talk to you?” asked Bono and when Lewis responded with a nod, the engineer brought the chair that was next to the wall closer to the couch so he could sit down.

end of the night, they’re coming home – just the two of them, just on the right side of tipsy, you know, warmth in their chests and a sweet buzz under their skin, and while Steve’s fishing for their keys in his pocket, Bucky meets his eyes for a moment and damn but he’s been a fool to go looking for stars up in the sky when they’ve been shining so bright right here in front of him.

So key turns in the hole, door swings open for them, and maybe tonight even their apartment is feeling good – maybe their old radio chooses to crackle back to life for a change, and they pull their curtains closed, they only leave the one lamp on, pick their little corner away from the window just in case.

And they’re supposed to be dancing, see, just a little box step like Becca taught them for laughs the last time the Barnes’ had Steve over for the holidays, but then. But then their eyes meet. And their noses, so softly – and their lips, and that’s so much softer somehow – and Bucky’s hand’s travelling up Steve’s spine, and Steve’s sliding his fingers in Bucky’s hair, and they were meant to be dancing, but they just end up making out for twenty-seven minutes straight instead.

alright, there’s definitely a universe out there, in the always blessed post-CATWS timeline where CACW never happened, and just-- please consider:

Steve’s been planning tonight for so long, ‘cause he wants it to be special, wants Bucky to have a Valentine’s Day just like the stuff you see in the movies; and since he can afford it these days, he has precisely 1107 red roses (one for each day they have been together in the new century) delivered to their apartment, with a hand-scribbled note that reads, Hope to send you a million more.

He’s made a reservation at Bucky’s favorite place, and when Bucky steps out of their bedroom that night, with a fresh shave and his hair carefully pulled back, in tight-fitting black pants and that deep burgundy button down that hugs his shoulders just right and brings out the natural red of his lips, Steve nearly falls to his knees in religious worship.

He fits both hands around Bucky’s slim waist, heart drumming out a crazy beat in his chest, just where Bucky’s hands choose to rest awhile.

“You look like a million dollars, honey.”

Bucky smiles that one secret smile of his, the one that so rarely appears outside the safe walls of their home. His metal hand slides up to stroke at the nape of Steve’s neck, slipping tender fingers under the collar of Steve’s shirt to brush, kiss-soft, against his bare skin – and his touch is thrill and gooseflesh spreading down Steve’s spine.

His voice rumbles deep and warm, just a whisper away from Steve’s lips. “You clean up nicely too, doll.”

And I mean, maybe they make it out the door, or maybe they don’t.

But like have you considered the possibility of Valentine’s in Wakanda, because I mean–

catch these boys living it up in their blissful little bubble like they’re on their own special kind of honeymoon, okay, making total goo goo eyes at each other all the time, and there has to be, there HAS to be a little moment somewhere in there, okay, like

it’s February 14th and- and I don’t think they’ve even checked the calendar in like a week, because who needs to know what day it is when they’ve been savoring their time together like this? Content to explore life on their little farm, going from one meal to work, to the next meal, to more work, and so on and so forth, and measuring their day in how many kisses they managed to sneak in between?

Come sunset, they find each other in the kitchen, and Bucky pulls Steve in by his beltloops and captures his lips all sweet-like, like a greeting and like a promise all at once, and Steve tells himself it’s well worth sweating all day long and chasing after stray goats and getting his work clothes all nice and ripe, if at the end of it all he gets to be kissed hello like this.

Bucky chuckles against his mouth, and Steve tastes the sweat off his whiskers, and the faint sweetness of the dried apricots he knows Bucky keeps on him these days.

“You smell like goat,” Bucky pulls away just enough to say to him, his whole face scrunched up with laughter, his eyes screwed shut, all happy crinkles and them mile-long eyelashes and if god has any mercy at all he won’t let Steve’s heart stop dead in his chest the way it feels like it’s going to do, nope, ‘cause Steve’s got so much more of this to bask in yet, so much more of it, so much more.

“You smell like goat shit,” he tells Bucky, and there’s a story somewhere in here left in the trail of clothes they strew across the floor, and a plot twist for sure where they knock over a lamp and a book and almost trip over Steve’s old boots, but the epilogue sees Steve hoisting Bucky up in his arms and stumbling into the shower with him, same way he keeps doing a little too often lately, and nowhere near often enough.

What they start in the shower, of course, they can finish in the bedroom; and if Bucky moves slow and languorous on top of him, and teaches their hips the old rock ‘n’ roll once more, just to make sure they both remember it still, well Steve has always loved to learn.

Now I was thinking– how about a little bit of a romantic getaway? Maybe a long weekend out of town, perhaps in the mountains, to make the best of what’s left of winter. They spend the whole day going for walks around the local village, sipping on a cup of hot cocoa, playing in the snow just like they used to when they were kids, building a sadly short-lived snow dick together, sledding, until they’re tired all the way down to their bones.

That’s when they go back to their private chalet, proceed to slip out of their damp clothes and climb together in a nice hot bubblebath, where Steve sits himself between Bucky’s legs and lays back against Bucky’s chest, and they alternate between trading slow, lazy kisses and feeding each other the fancy chocolates they brought back with them, until the water’s gone lukewarm.

and I could honestly keep going, but it's getting late and I need to get up early tomorrow, so for now, happy valentine's day to both you and our favourite boys!!

I think we can find a middle ground between bashing every single thing you're fav is doing and prohibiting yourself from having discussions about the goods AND the bads of your fav career. I think you can do both. And can still keep your stan card. It's not exclusive.

I can say I hated Cherry and Uncharted, and still want better for him because I genuinely think he is talented and love to see him on my screen. I follow him because of his personality and I think he is a great actor with potential. Do you know how many films I haven't really cared for, or thought were dumb that some of my acting faves have been in lol? 😂 I either just watch simply to enjoy them in it, or just make jokes about how crappy the movie was, but I still love the actor and appreciate their projects that I DO enjoy. 🤷🏾‍♀️

The problem I mainly see with SOME of Tom's fans however is that it seems like this "constructive criticism" gets a bit out of hand, fans go a little too far, and it almost comes across as being a bit mean to me. 😔🤷🏾‍♀️

I feel like SOME fans take things a bit too seriously, and don't know how to just ENJOY an actor, enjoy the journey they're on at this moment in time, and simply just relax, be patient, and appreciate them for them.....instead of nitpicking over every single little thing. 🥴

Do you know how LONG it's taken some in the industry to get their "big break"? 👀 Or to FINALLY be recognized for their acting talent? Sometimes it takes some ppl a long time! Some fans have been waiting YEARS.

Say what you will about Marvel films, but Marvel DEFINITELY helped put Tom Holland on ppl's radar. It probably would have taken Tom a LOT longer to even get in people's view had it not been for Marvel. And he certainly wouldn't have had so much close access to such incredible acting talent in the industry who constantly pat him on the back of it weren't for Marvel. So Marvel has done Tom good imo.

I almost feel like the complaints some fans have about his career aren't even really about Tom tbh.... I feel like it's more so about competition or smthg, and I just don't feel like it's even necessary.

Tom is a GOOD actor. He will always have roles waiting for him because he's actually talented. I honestly don't know why some fans even worry? Jmho 🤷🏾‍♀️

I could see if he were a BAD actor.... but he's not! 🥴

Jemily just hanging out in their underwear binge watching Netflix and eating junk food on their day off. Ordering Chinese so they never have to leave the house. Curled up on the couch yelling at the TV about how unrealistic the cop shows are but secretly loving Rizzoli & Isles and watching episode after episode and screaming "you love each other!" And generally being adorable and getting into tickle fights when one is hogging the blankets

The pizza guys fight over who gets to deliver the pizzas to their condo whenever there's a late night weekend order because they always answer the door in their underwear and maybe a tshirt or an open button down

It had just been an accident the first few times they did it but then they do it on purpose cause they usually get free shit with it. Like bra and boy shorts and oops here's some free breadsticks.

"Jayje, did you ever notice that we never got charged for that forty dollar order last week?"

"Forty dollars for what?"

"From Pisano's? When we had the munchies at eleven when we were marathoning Murdoch Mysteries?"

"Oh, well, duh, Em. You were just wearing a half buttoned shirt with no bra and bikini briefs when you answered the door. I would have spotted you forty bucks too"

Emily makes a game of it to see how many times she can get free food and how little she can get away with answering the door in. Tank top, no bra and some lacey somethings. Free dinner!

And JJ just rolls her eyes like "don't forget soy sauce this time!" And the delivery boy throws in like 20 packets and an entire box of fortune cookies

One time she answers in a towel so tiny it doesn't even wrap around her body, she has to hold it in front of her and the delivery guy from the Thai place is so flustered and Emily is like "well I don't have any hands to take that..." And she looks behind her like "JJ, come take the food!" And JJ comes around the corner in an over large tshirt hanging on one shoulder and it ends at the top of her thighs and her hair is all messy (even though they'd literally just been laying on the couch, they both have that just fucked look) and the delivery guys brain is totally short circuited and he hands them the food and stumbles away even though they were supposed to be paying cash and Emily says "thank you" and the guy kind of mumbles "no, thank YOU; really"

The local eateries try to curb that financial black hole by sending women delivery people and it. Doesn't. Work. Bc even the women are just like 'ummm hai! 😍"

20-35% of all the local food places money is from their own employees paying for the privilege of delivering to the Prentiss-Jareau household

And you can tell when they've actually been fucking because Em is rubbing her wrists where new welts have appeared and she has claw marks down her back when she turns around to get the cash and her hair is ACTUALLY disorderly and she only pays when she's flustered. So the delivery boys actually hope they've been having sex because Em tips really well

One time she tips $100 on a #30 order and the guy tries to give it back to her and she just dreamily closes the door in his face. And they get bonus tips if they say  Ms Prentiss instead of Mrs or Miss or ma'am. And they all have her number memorized so when she calls to place an order they fight for the phone

JJ answers the door half dressed and dangling a pair of handcuffs from one hand. They just get too tied up (literally) and leave the door unlocked with a note that says "leave the food on the table no change needed" and the delivery person is like "umm okay" and comes in and hears JJ screaming for mercy in the bedroom so he drops the food takes the cash and bolts

They send Christmas cards to their favorite eateries for putting up with their antics.

my week has started off well! i went into the new location for my store & went to start setting up and today i'm just resting. tomorrow i'm training on last minute sign offs on piercings and then thursday is opening day! we're all booked out for opening day so i have to be ready to be fast and in and out with piercings.

i'll definitely check out the series!!! kick is my favourite inxs album & my fave songs are just keep walking, never tear us apart, don't change (this one is special to me), suicide blonde, dancing on the jetty, disappear, need you tonight & original sin. inxs was one of the bands i grew up listening to along with a bunch of other older bands from aus & aotearoa and i think that influence is still there so whenever i don't feel like listening to glam but i still wanna listen to something older i go back to a childhood playlist (i think on my spotify theres a public playlist called best of australia & aotearoa which showcases some old and new stuff!)

i know im so excited!!! i was nervous when they kept delaying the lineup announcements but it looks killer so i can't wait! tickets go on sale while i'm working all day tho so i hope i can grab one while i'm on break or something. if i miss out on presale vip maybe i can grab one when they go out to the public tho! if i miss out on vip i'll just get a ga ticket.

i am sort of nervous about the venue they chose though as i have been there before, and while they are fine during actual shows the moment a concert is over they do tend to kick everyone out quite rudely (much like last weeks festival!) and tell people they can't even hang around outside because of "trespassing". this would be fine if they were'nt LITERALLY ON A MAIN STREET OF THE CITY IN SYDNEY. like they're literally next door to a mcdonald's. it's quite odd. at least they give out free water after shows.

i hope you can get piercings soon too! i think it's best to get piercings in winter as well because you don't have to worry about the not swimming part of healing.

i do hope they release the other albums on streaming at least soon! it seems that they're only available in the us and possibly canada from what i've gathered from my online friends. i'm missing the live albums, a few compilation albums, and of course belly to belly and ultraphobic. i only bothered getting ultraphobic and belly to belly as local files (and the dog eat dog bonus track) though because spotify has issues with their local files a lot and i didn't want to keep redownloading like 5 albums over and over again.

i make a wishlist but only because nobody ever knows what i actually want! my mum asks me to make a list otherwise i just get clothes i won't wear and new underwear so this year i put a few bands for cds, a cd player, and a new room fan cus mine doesn't rly work. i think i'm also getting a new cd tower though cus i ran out of room on my little cd shelf i took from my parents when they moved their cds into a cupboard, the shelf only stores 75 and i think i have like 100 cds now (over 8+ years of collecting!) i am about to do a whole room redo so i am trying to ask for stuff that will be helpful to rearrange my room/redecorate, but i know i will have to buy most new furniture myself. the only stuff i'm not replacing is my desk, bed, and wardrobe (which is built into my room), (and my shelf/ stuff already mounted on the wall)

i would LOVE to be in a band, hopefully a glam metal band, but unfortunately like i said before, there's like no one my age into that genre in my area which sucks :(. i'd be happy to play any instrument in that hypothetical band, except drums bc i can only really play a basic 4/4 beat on drums so i wouldn't be very good at that.

i hope i can give you good info too cause i'm the worst talking about myself 🤦🏽‍♀️😂

well i think the most common thing i've got with him (besides behind a capricorn and 95er hahah) is that we're both very loyal, particularly with family/close friends. And, we both love horses (i rode ponies when i was a little girl, i barely remember it tbh hahah but lately i've been wanting to get back into it idk 😂)

i think we're different for example in terms of his love for jazz and all that stuff hahah i don't really vibe with jazz, at all hahah (this is what i can remember now idk if it helps 🤦🏽‍♀️)

about his photofolio, i agree, the concept really suits him 😍

this must be my fave outfit/look (i think, it's hard to choose tbh hahah)

cause then just him in the shirt, tie and vest 😍😍

While Freddie is always beautiful, I'm not too fond of 80s fashions 😌 so this is going to reflect that bias. But I had a great time picking out some favourites:

Where Cody was doing an IG Live and a certain someone can be heard from the background say:

"Where's my boxers, babe?"

Cody was visibly surprised and panicked a little, he was scrambling to turn the video and audio off when Dylan walked into frame with just a towel around his waist.

-OMG! It's DOB!-

-What is happening?!? 😍-

-Ohmy! Are you together???-

-ASDFGHJKLAAHHHH-

...and lots of wow, heart emojis, and comments that went through before Cody ended the live.

"Oh shit! You were live??? I'm sorry!" Dylan panicked. "They saw me???"

"Yeah." Cody was giggling as he grabbed Dylan by his waist and kissed his cheek.

"Damn! Sorry, baby."

Dylan and Cody could hear their phones buzz off. A lot! They were being flooded.

"Oh boy!" Dylan was laughing. "We broke the internet."

Cody couldn't resist and looked at all his notifications. There were lots of tags and mentions and DMs. On IG and on Twitter. In a few more minutes, they were trending.

"Ohgod, baby. We're trending." Cody told Dylan.

Cody and Dylan read the messages and tags for both of them. All of those expressing support for the couple. There were questions too, like: is that Dylan? When did they get together? Since when? Are you dating? Are you living together? I knew it! The black hoodie Dylan was wearing in his recent interview is yours, isn't it? It was too big on him. And there are naughty ones too: Who's top? Who's bottom? Fave position? lol. Etc etc.

Cody and Dylan were laughing at the naughty ones. Then they talked. They were keeping their relationship a secret for a long time now. But all the supportive messages made them feel okay to tell the truth. So they decided to let it all out.

Cody posted, after a few hours, a photo of them together.

Yup. Yes that is Dylan O'Brien. Yes that is my All American shirt he's wearing. Yes this is his purple hoodie I'm wearing. Yes we're dating. Yes we live together. Yes that black hoodie he wore in his previous interview is mine. We got together, officially, last year; a day before my birthday. But we were 'messing around' way back in Teen Wolf 😁 P.S. Theo is always top 😏

this turned out surprisingly self-indulgent. her reaction is essentially word-for-word the reaction I had when I found out I was pregnant, alone in a bathroom; though I think I cried a lot more than she did sjdjsksosk enjoy!

Well, V thinks to herself, biting down on the side of her thumbnail, that's something.

She picks up the pregnancy test with shaking fingers, bringing the small stick as close to her face as she can manage. Two blue lines blur together a half inch from her eye, and she scoffs before tossing the thing into the bin. It makes a strange clacking sound as it connects with the three other tests already in there, all of them positive.

She just wanted to be sure.

It had hit her like a ton of bricks this morning, the realization that she hadn't had her period in three months. Normally not something she'd fuss too much about -she'd never been really regular, thanks to the stressful lifestyle she leads- but that instant thought of "am I pregnant?" refused to leave her brain. V had convinced herself she was jumping to a ridiculous conclusion, even as she rushed to the nearest drugstore and bought two boxes of tests. Surely, she said to herself as she beelined for the bathroom once she got home, there is another explanation.

Well. More the fool, her.

V steps up to the mirror, pulling her shirt up and twisting from side to side. Her stomach is still scarred as usual, still slightly rounded and soft; not a thing looks different. Is that normal? Should she look different? Should she be showing already? Is there something wrong with her? Is there something wrong with the - the kid? God, just the thought of the word makes her feel dizzy. A kid. There's a kid inside her. Her kid. Viktor's kid - oh, holy shit. V throws her hand out to catch the edge of the counter, eyes going wide as she let's out a breath. She's carrying a tiny infant inside her, something that's half her and half Vik and that - is more terrifying than it is exciting. She has the sudden image of a dark-haired child wielding a gun in one hand and a boxing glove on the other. V laughs, the sound only slightly manic.

Ah, she's panicking. Wonderful.

V catches her own eye in the mirror, pulling her shirt down and giving her head a quick shake. She stands up straight, taking deep breaths. "You're fine," she tells her reflection, willing herself to believe it.

Swallowing her anxiety, V quickly leaves the bathroom and grabs her jacket, shrugging it on as she makes her way to the door. The walk to the clinic barely takes five minutes; she resigns herself to be properly calm and collected by the time she gets there.

"I need you to scan me," V blurts out the moment she's past the gate, marching up to where Vik is sitting in his usual spot. He looks up at her with a mystified expression, standing up and reaching to envelop her hands in his.

"What's the matter, sweetheart? What happened?"

V only shakes her head, laughing breathlessly. "I cant - I'm not sure how to - Just," she takes a deep breath, looking up at him entreatingly. "Just scan me. Please."

His brows furrow but he slowly nods, pulling her towards his setup. She drops his hands and lays herself down on the chair, fingers drumming nervously against her thigh.

"What am I looking for, exactly?" Vik asks as he boots up the system, tapping away at the monitor. V swallows thickly, looking straight up at the ceiling and feeling her heart begin to pound.

"The, ah - the whole, abdominal region," she answers, gesturing to herself with a small chuckle. She can feel his stare burning into her but she refuses to meet his eye; she's too nervous and tongue-tied to say the words, a part of her petrified to find out what his reaction will be. Better for all involved if he just - sees it for himself.

V squeezes her eyes shut as he brings the scanner down to her belly, her nails digging in to armrest. She tries to focus on keeping her breathing even, knows that she fails.

Everything's quiet for a minute, before Vik moves the scanner away and his breath leaves him in a short gust.

"V," Vik says her name, sounding more serious than she's heard from him in a long time, in just that one little letter.

"Yeah?" She whispers back, finally opening her eyes to glance at his face. His eyes are wide and he's gripping the side of the monitor hard enough that the plastic creaks. V feels her mouth go dry as he slowly turns the monitor to face her, and she sits up in her seat to get a better look.

It's the length of her thumb, if that. A tiny, human-if-you-squint shaped thing, with tinier little curled up arms and what look almost like legs.

"Well, that's hideous," V says with a breathless laugh, trying for levity to ease the situation. But she cant deny the pure wonder that she feels at the sight; her body is capable of growing a whole new person, the thought ridiculous and extraordinary and a slew of other emotions that she cant hope to articulate at the moment.

"It's a fetus," Vik interrupts her thoughts, coming around the side of the chair to watch the monitor alongside her. He has a hand pressed to the side of his face, his expression unreadable.

"Yes, well. Happy returns and all that," she says, still laughing even as her heart seizes up. She can't tear her eyes away from the frozen image of what will one day be a fully grown person - with their own feelings and dreams and hopes.

"V."

"I think it looks a bit like me, don't you?"

"V," Vik says again, chuckling breathlessly despite himself. He touches a hand to her chin, moving her face to look up at him. He looks strained, even as he wills himself to smile at her. "You know what this means, right?"

"That I have actual, physical proof you have sex with me?"

"It means," Vik says with a sigh, "that you have a decision to make."

"Oh," V breathes, looking back at the screen with her throat feeling suspiciously tight. She thinks about it, for a minute. Thinks about the life she leads, about the dangers of Night City. Thinks about what it would feel like, to hold a tiny little Viktor in her arms. She knows her decision before he'd even asked, has known since that first test came up positive.

"I would - I'm keeping it," V says, nodding her head and glancing up at him.

"Good," Vik replies, much too quickly as his breath leaves him in a gust. He laughs, sounding as exhilarated as she feels. "Good. I, uh - I'm gonna go pass out, now, if that's alright with you?"

He stumbles over to his chair, dropping down onto it without ceremony as V laughs. He puts his head in his hands and shakes his head.

"I'm gonna be a dad," he says through his fingers, chuckling breathlessly.

V watches him as a wave of relief washes over her, taking a shaky breath before turning back to the screen. They're both silent for a time, simply digesting the fact that their lives are about to irrevocably change.

"I think she looks like a Gertrude," V breaks the silence with a smile, running the tip of a finger over the monitor.

"You are not," Vik says with thinly veiled disdain, "naming my daughter Gertrude."

"You cant speak to the mother of your child like that," she replies, crossing her arms over her chest and shooting him a frown.

Vik snorts out a laugh, standing from his chair and running a hand back through his hair. He walks over to her side and grasps her hand, bringing it to his mouth to press a soft kiss against her knuckles. He looks down at her wordlessly, and V would swear she feels her heart stop.

"I'm not going to fit into any of my clothes," she says with a pout.

"No," he shakes his head.

"I have to quit smoking."

"Yes."

"I'm going to grow bones inside me that I wont get to keep."

"V," he laughs, leaning down to kiss her forehead. "It's going to be fine."

V looks up at his smile, then back to the monitor. She squeezes the hand he's still holding, and lets out a breath that eases her fear.

Yeah, she thinks, smiling away, it'll be just fine.
