is it just me or has dan gotten increasingly worse at being competitive with phil recently. like idk if it’s just bc they’ve been playing more subjectively scored games recently but like the amount of moments where this infamously competitive man is helping phil or letting him win recently is diabolical

i think its a mix of both. i think dan is competitive but he likes it to be an even playing field if its a skill-based challenge, so if phil is clearly struggling with something he'll help him out, but i dont think he just lets phil win lol dan won at shuffleboard in the end.
