He turned to look at you. Deep down, you had the idea that he knew you were only apologizing to get something from him and not so much because you were interested in keeping your relationship peaceful.

— I listen.

You walked a few steps further into the room. It was almost dark, and the sun was barely shining through the curtains, so your whole room looked almost dark.

You looked at him with an expression of redemption. Damian thought it was that victim look he always saw you with. Like a helpless little animal longing for warmth.

— I was wrong to make that joke about you, and I'm really sorry, but Damian... I need you. — You said, but were interrupted when you noticed that he had pulled you onto his hips and placed you on his lap.

He made you turn your neck until you could meet his intense green eyes. His breath collided with your face and his hands ran down your thighs until he carefully lifted your skirt, revealing your underwear.

— It was the only thing I wanted to hear, beloved.

Was BETRAYED by his maternal family, when they brought Tim BACK, mad from the pits, and never told him. The whole alt-timeline. Edgy Red Hood Tim. Red Bird Jason. Robin Dick.

But!

Multiverse shenanigans? Who is THIS?! It's a Cannon-adjacent Tim! He's HEROICALLY sacrificed himself by tackling the megalomaniac of the decade, into the Multiverse Destroying Portal BEFORE it could fully charge! While he, said maniac, held the control panel. Thereby shutting it down.

There had been no other way.

He had expected to be ripped to molecules.

But here he is, on the sort of Shitty Roofing that can only be Gotham infrastructure. So? No time to tremble in the face of near oblivion. Gotta beat this fuckers ass so hard his ANCESTORS rethink their life choices. Tim drags himself up. And makes Gotham proud.

Which is how Darkwing (Damian's edgy self chosen name he's now stuck with until his Father retires.) Finds him. Half dead and beating up a clear Supervillian, wearing Bat gear. Good enough for Damian. He'll get answers AFTER the scoundrel in imprisoned.

Only Tim passes the fuck out.

Wakes up, in the cave, to his own? But slightly different? Face. Two things jump out. One, that God awful skunk strip Jason was permanently stuck with after the pits (that he refuses to admit, is kinda sexy). And Two, either this Tim started Testosterone WAY earlier, somehow managed to keep to all his scheduled shots dispite Superhero Craziness, OR... this lucky bastard is Cis Gendered.

Unless maybe not?

Hey, Me, pronouns. (He/Him.) Nevermind! Bastard it is! Fuck you! Why do YOU get all the luck? I have to take shots! (I DIED.) OH, boo hoo, WE'VE ALL DIED! Ya'aint special! *Tim on Tim verbal violence intensifies*

No one can tell if... they are? Bonding? Or hate each other. Someone should stop them. Unfortunately, it has to be Bruce. Which is how they learn: No, actually, he DOESN'T know what universe he's from. It's never come up before and they don't have the technology. He expected to die.

It was a one way trip.

Now they have a New/Extra Tim. There are Tim Twins. One is An Angry Bad Boy. And the other? Strangely sexy. The competence kinks are developing by the minute.

Worse, for Damian? This Tim seems... almost? Baffled? By his politeness? Seems to expect violence and aggression? And become utterly FACINATED by him, once he realizes its not coming. Damian has never been the center of someone's attention like this. Had someone hang off his every word like this. It's breeding... Thoughts he shouldn't be having.

And RR!Tim is getting jealous. That's HIM. He should be interested in HIM. THEIR shared lives. Not Mr "ooooh look at meee, the Perfect Soooon". Other Tim should be... be like his TWIN. His BROTHER. HIS other half. His!

Bruce? Hates that he sees what could have been, in this Tim. Calm and collected. Not raging and destructive. A good Detective. A perfect Robin. Dedicated to The Mission. Not the unhealing, raging, wounded animal his son has become. He wants to protect this Tim. Hold him close. Cherish him. But he also loves HIS Tim. He feels so greedy.

And Jason? It's like the Red Bird he looked up to is BACK. Not the raging monster that swings between hating him and ignoring him. Even better! This Tim looks at HIM like he's some sort of miracle! So he plays up the spunky, the cute. Crawls into his lap and chats. Gets to hang out. Be the center of his world. He... he's in LOVE. Already formulating a long term plan. Gonna marry this Tim and have a house and kids and a dog! It'll be perfect.

Baby Dick? Robin? Was EXHAUSTED trying to hold everything together. Trying to pretend he didn't notice the tensions. Play the performance of "cute baby brother" to distract and defuse. Then this Timmy came! And FIXED everything. Took Dicks job like he'd been doing it for YEARS. Smiled so pretty and perfect. Told him he didn't have to pretend.

So maybe Dick goes... a little crazy. Follows him. Smells his stuff. Wants to crawl into his bed and DO things. But! He's not the only one! Everyone is going crazy! Timmy does that to people, he's decided. But it's okay. They're TIM'S people. So it's okay if they go crazy for him.

And really? It's just a matter of who's control breaks first. Because Tim adores them but doesn't think they'd be interested. Tim is situationally dense as bricks. They love him anyway.

The reason Danny jives with the Waynes:

He’s just moving from one neurodivergent family to another.

Jack Fenton is almost certainly ADHD. Both Jazz and Maddie are probably on the autism spectrum with their special interests being psychology and ghost respectively

Bruce is likely on the spectrum as well as OCD, with an alternate version of him canonically diagnosed as such. Tim also probably on the spectrum. Damian is harder to diagnose simply because of his upbringing, but he like his father in some ways and it’s likely animals are his special interest. Dick has ADHD, the chandelier incident points to impulsivity and overall seems a bit hyperactive. Jason has PTSD, potentially CPTSD

I propose why Danny fits in so well is he goes from one family full of neurodivergents to another and wouldn’t even notice because that’s 100% in line with his experiences with family

Reverse Robins: Joker Junior series by miyaji_08 i rec’d the second fic in this series over here for the timkon of it all, but the series—two parts, both complete—is also one of my absolute favorite reverse robins stories. it goes the joker junior!tim route, so heads up for A Lot of tim-centric trauma, but gives tim (and everyone else) so much healing, too. it also gets creative with the robin of it all, as in, the call sign for batman’s partner is different from the jump because dick wasn’t around to originate “robin” for it, which i always think is a fun extra detail. the batfam characters are great and the young justice crew is also great, so read for top-tier hurt and comfort and great characters and satisfying plot and tim and damian competing to see who is the most Tired big brother of the bunch.

blood of the covenant by envysparkler robins are angsty in any order, but man does this hit the angst sweet spot, which in turn makes the soft parts feel even softer. i genuinely can’t decide what my favorite dynamic is in this AU, between damian & tim (damian wracked with guilt, tim hurting and still wanting an older brother even if he’d never admit it) and tim & jason (no spoilers but chapter 4 especially lights my brain up like a supernova) and tim & dick (i think about the part where dick grayson [tiny, cheerful] uses tim [undead, annoyed] as a jungle gym like once a week).

Wing Beats in Reverse by firefright a longfic where jason gets kidnapped by the mysterious red hood, who turns out to be jason’s not-so-dead predecessor. the jason pov here is great, and i was so compelled by how this AU explored his place in the bat family, and how it managed the emotional fallout from the kidnapping. tim is also so interesting in this—it does something i love in a reverse robins concept, which is make tim’s motivations (and lazarus pit effects) less about anger/hurt/revenge and more about ice cold logic, about being the villain so the bats don’t have to/whether they want him to or not. plus some league of assassins trauma as a cherry on top. also, kon gets to show up for a bit. (as a fair warning—and spoilers ahead—the fic has a somewhat hopeful ending for tim, but doesn’t reach full reconciliation in the scope of the plot.)

i woke up so worried that the angels let go by circees a short but potent batkids age reversal au that’s also a grisha au, starring duke as the coveted sun summoner that damian is trying to deliver to safety without mentally adopting a new brother (damian fails on the second part). even with my limited memory of grisha lore i could tell a lot of thought was put into this au, and i have a feeling it would be even better if you are able to catch all the details. i also love that even in a fantasy world where some of the bat family have magical abilities, duke is still extra special—a great analogy to being a metahuman among the bats.

The 90s Are Back! by RedWritingHood saving the two silly ones for last to lighten the mood! in this one, red hood!tim gets de-aged to sixteen and meets all his new siblings. it’s like .01% angst and 99.99% shenanigans, and pretty much all the dialogue is super quotable but Dick holds out his hands like he's calming a bunch of wild animals. "Okay, I know everyone's real upsetti spaghetti right now, but I think we all just need to calm down." might take the cake.

Clowns Don’t Kill People by mademoisellePlume very short, very silly reverse robins brother shenanigans, in which tiny dick grayson isn’t scared of recovering joker junior!tim because dick, having been raised in the circus, doesn’t associate clowns with evil yet. the fic is fun (and a great palate cleanser if you need a break from the angst above), and the author’s note at the end made me fully laugh out loud.

One thing I will always and forever enjoy about the jondami ship by itself is the fact they are very angel x goblin coded.

Here me out

Jonathan is an angel and for the sake of everything we are gonna say biblically accurate. Cause he's sunshine wrapped up in puppy looks and baggy clothes and he looks for the good in people but with one look he could turn you to salt. Like literally could deliver divine punishment if need be. Which I think is interesting cause you got to learn to be gentle but also when to stand up and be rough. So like an accurate angel of sorts.

Then we have Damian and I know everyone is obsessed with him being a demon and stuff like that but like...after seeing the comics and reading some of the things he's said or done he's really not. He's just an autistic goblin.

Like he has no idea what human interactions are hardly and how to be normal about them so he just kinda stands there but the more you get to know him and the more comfortable he gets he just gets...weirder.

Like I can imagine him talking about animals for hours and talking about different characters from video games and backstories and drawing them out and Jonathan just stares at him like like a frog until he's done because he doesn't want him to stop. Plus Damian can have non verble moments so the moments he does speak are very special to him. Then the flexible points were he scuttles around on all fours to look for a pencil because he knows it freaks Jon out or the fact when they go outside he gets distracted by different plants he could eat (becuase hes vegan and knows a lot about plants) and even keeps special rocks in a secret drawer that he shows grayson and Alfred. Not to mention the collecting of special things like animals and swords.

So like a divine angel x a goblin really and I think it's a sweet deal honestly.

THEY HAVE THE SAME SENSE OF HUMOR AND YOU CANT TELL ME OTHERWISE

they both like dad jokes

and they both like to play dumb pranks like

tying tims shoelaces together, but they dont want tim to get hurt so they install padded floors in the batcave

they both like 90s/early 2000s movies

they LOVE short animated films and tear up every time they watch lava

not to mention bruce is secretly really interested in how duke's powers work

duke knows this and purposely shows his powers off whenever bruce is around

cass and damian

i feel like cass does pottery and as we all know, damian does art (paints, sketches etc)

vases/sculptures and sketches/paintings to each other as presents

they give each other constructive criticism

they pott (??) and paint tgt

i like to think that damian mostly speaks Arabic and struggles a lil with English so they kinda get each other

they train and give each other tips and tricks

from an ex-assassin to an ex-assassin, from an artist to an artist

sparring sessions/training sessions are always most interesting with them

theyre crazy competitive with each other

but in a way that like they admire each other, alot

dick and steph

theyre both rays of sunshine and fit well together

tim who read percy Jackson as a kid meeting dami who's likes to learn about diff cultures

after finding out tim knows Greek mythology, damian warms up to him just a lil

tim of course, is really glad to finally make a sort of connection with his lil bro

they get along well after discussing myths a few times

tim introduces dami to percy Jackson and dami introduces tim to a bunch of different myths and legends

they make it a weekly thing to just sit, read and have tea

they love discussing about the similarities between different myths

they watch the miscellaneous myths series on youtube together !!!

they actually get along really well with each other

but they hide it so they dont get teased by the others

they have a lotta hang time since theyre both also at ma kent's house a lot

damian's the type of brother to third wheel a date to make sure kon is treating tim right

mind you, damian's old fashion, if kon doesn't offer a seat for tim, damian glares at him

Some across the Spiderverse thoughts that i left in some tags and texts but wanted to make into a post - spoilers ofc!

I'm a huge fan of how heavily they leaned into superheroes as a metaphor for queerness.

I think superheroes are inherently a metaphor for queerness, even when that's not the intent, bc (to quote Ted Lasso) it's living 2 separate lives and wishing they could just melt into one.

But with movies like across the Spiderverse (and also dc's battle of the supersons but ill get to that later) they really underline the queer metaphor.

Gwen has a trans flag with the words "protect trans kids" in her room and as @/jellyfishbees pointed out in their post: also, it's interesting to read "coming out as a superhero" as a queer allegory and it works in this situation as it parallels queer kids being kicked out of their homophobic homes and staying with friends in the aftermath.

Referred to Gwen crashing at Hobie's universe (rather than place bc he's homeless) after her cop dad threatens to shoot her and arrest her even after her "coming out" as Spiderwoman.

It also felt very personal to me bc like Miles i also have a caribbean mom (not specifically puerto rican but the spanish accents/dialects in the caribbean area do have a lot in common with each other imo*) and the startup of his "coming out" (as Spiderman) + Rio's reaction felt like a mirrored version of my own coming out to my mom.

(Tho mine had a different ending rip lol).

It was also interesting to me how this homophobic tween in the audience reached my same conclusion from a different standpoint (me from a queer one, him from a homophobic one) which ik bc he said "I thought he was a f--" using the italian version of the f slur. It must mean Something if they played it in a way that even homophobes think of it as a "coming out" scene.

As I mentioned before, there's another animated superhero movie that did this.

Battle of the supersons is a movie about Jon Kent (Superman's son and one of the Superboys) and Damian Wayne (5th Robin, one of Batman's kids) becoming friends and fighting an alien invasion together.

But the story starts with Jon unaware that his dad's Superman so he freaks out when his powers awaken and we get a sort of "coming out" scene when he opens up to his dad about them.

In the comics Jon's canonly bisexual and had his own Pride Month special issue last year and the cast of the movie cracked some jokes about it at NYCC (Jon's VA had to record his scenes in a closet, etc).

And idk, i just think superheroes as a queer metaphor is all really neat :)

*unrelated but that's exactly why the "I heard Spiderman's puerto rican" *Miles freezes* "nah, I think he's dominican actually" was really funny to me. Personally im cuban but have been mistaken for puerto rican and ik puerto ricans that have been mistaken for cubans, it's really interesting from a linguistic perspective!

Dick being a good eldest sibling and team mom headcanons but written by someone who is actually those things because none of y'all understand how found family works

So first thing's first to avoid any confusion:I headcanon Dick as a tomboy trans woman mostly because i've seen so many transfem DC fans say she's an egg but also a bit because i'm an eldest daughter and she's one of my biggest comfort character's who i relate to a lot and i want representation!Now with that out of the way,let's get into this:

A master chef thanks to growing up being taught how to cook by Alfred!!She used to pack Jason and Tim lunch and still does for Duke and Damian and taught Cass a bunch of dishes

She's very openly affectionate both physically and verbally because of how loving she is and Kory and Roy's influence on her and it's common for her to give her younger siblings hugs and platonic kisses.They're all big fans of it except Jason who wants to keep up his 'i'm so cool and edgy' image and gets embarrased by it unless it's only the two of them and she teases him about it by reminding him how much he used to love it and return her actions when he was Robin and that gets him even more flustered

Extremely supportive of the other Batkids' special interests(Autism is a requirement for being a Batfam member).Her and Jason read classical literature together and she was actually the one who opened the gateway for him by introducing him to Shakespeare,Tim and her play video games often(and she may or may not have briefly developed an Ultra Blue Monster addiction briefly thanks to him,whoops-)and her favorites are the time management genre Animal Crossing and Tloz,participates in gothic subculture with Cass whenever asked,tells Duke all about her times living in the 80s and 90s,takes care of and researches animals with Damian and buys purple things she spots for Stephanie when she's out

Speaking of Stephanie,she took one look at her in her Robin costume and went 'There's no way i'm letting Dad handle her alone'.So Dick becomes her big sister/mother figure and Steph's time as Robin is gentler on her thanks to it and when Gotham ressurects her out of love for and belief in her,she goes to her as soon as she's finished revealing she's alive to Bruce and Tim and Dick is an odd mix between shell-shocked and unbelivably happy as Stephanie squeezes her up into a hug,grinning from ear to ear

Next to Damian,she's the shortest of the Batkids thanks to her estrogen making her shrink and they love making jokes about it and she finds it annoying but won't do anything about it other than glaring and threatning to take away [insert privilige here]

Cass finds out she's a butch lesbian super fast because like.Dick is helping Babs in raising her and Miss Nightwing is out there being built both like the Bat Equivalent to Power Girl and an Amazon while having a wolfcut and dressing like That and Babs is,y'know,*makes Batgirl gestures*.She's gotten an undercut by her Black Bat era and the only reason her and Stephanie pine after eachother for so long is that the mix of their trauma and being eachother's first real female friend makes things confusing asf(Also:They grow up to be only valid Batman x Batwoman ship)

She's constantly switching between encouraging them to be more responsible and mature and telling them to be as chaotic and untamed as possible.The eternal eldest daughter and mom friend conflict😔

Sometimes she treats them as younger than they are but not intentionally-It's just that she's so much older than them that she can't help but see them as little kids.Jason and Tim get the biggest brunt of this,with picking them up like she used to out of habit and 'Timmy' and so forth

The other Batkids have to deal with a LOT of thirst comments about her.Jason,Tim and Duke think they're nasty asf and want them to just end already,Cass wonders how they keep coming up with this shit,Damian dosen't get them and Stephanie thinks they're the funniest shit ever.Dick herself couldn't care about them one way or another

I’m assuming that the selection of characters for this is the same as my last DC characters post - if not send me specific characters in another request and I’ll write for those!

Damian Wayne

• Damian would find you incredibly helpful, as not only is he well versed in on using a range of weapons, but your ability makes it easier for him to improvise in the moment against a new or consistently changing villain. It also means that he (and whoever else the two of you are working with) won’t need to be worried about having a specific item that may be needed in a crucial moment.

• Even though you can make weapons and reduce the amount of things he and the team would need to carry with them, he’d still prefer to bring weapons with him. He had items he specialises in that he always uses, and there’s no point in making you exhausted when many of the weapons they have in their possession.

• Your tiredness would obviously be a cause for concern if it results from the aftermath of using your abilities too much. As it can cause difficulty in getting out of missions or dangerous situations Damian will stay by your side if he’s aware that this is going to happen.

• Villains would be amazed if they could see your powers and abilities in action so Damian does try to keep you behind the main line of fighting if that’s possible. However, he knows that they will still come after you so he puts a lot of effort into defending you at all costs.

• Since you’re making your own weapons he does like to see that they have a personal touch to them rather than always being completely boring. Figuring out what he likes or him telling you what the perfect weapon would be I’m certain situations also comes in handy at all times.

Jason Todd

• Jason knows that a lot of people appreciate and make use of your abilities, but for him personally he isn’t in too much need of it. Unless he’s in an extremely strange situation or all of his weapons were taken than he’d have no real use for your abilities.

• He will always prefer his own weapons as he has a special attachment to them. The weapons he keeps with him are like his banques and he takes excellent care of them since he finds such a personal connection to them.

• Regardless of whether he needs your abilities or not, Jason will always be there to help you get out of a mission or fight safely. Your tiredness is a big reason for that, especially as this can risk him and the others around him to more danger and not just yourself.

• Jason doesn’t need much of a reason to fight criminals and villains to begin with, but protecting you certainly is a great excuse to do so. Not only does he get to keep you safe and Proventil a kidnapping situation, but he also gets to lay down justice much more with reason.

• When he interested he may ask you to make some absolutely strange and weird weapons just so he can see the range of what you can make, but if this stores affect your tiredness and well-being then he will keep it to a minimum.

Garfield Logan

• Garfield thinks that’s you’re astoundingly helpful to the people around you especially in extreme situations. However, Garfield has abilities of his own so it’s very rare that he’s going to be using a weapon other than himself.

• He is well versed in his abilities and power of being able to turn into different animals at will depending on what would work best. But, if this is absolutely not possible at all then he would use a weapon you’ve made - although he may be hesitant as first.

• Garfield is very sweet and caring so if the two of you managed to get back home safely and you’re powers have caused you extreme tiredness, then he would help you recover once he’s feeling better himself. He’d do this for any other person he was close to which shows how thoughtful to the well-being of others he is even when a fight is over.

• Garfield goes into automatic defence mode when he finds out that other are looking to benefit from your abilities. Criminals and villains would live the opportunity and saving abilities of not needing to keep weapons on them constantly which means you’re vulnerable - but Garfield always has many people around you both if he suspects danger.

• Garfield does like to make light of situations or make them fun, so it’s not a surprise when he tries to use your abilities in a playful way. However, you will have to put a cap on it before it ends up going to far or tiring you out before and important mission.

Bruce Wayne

• Bruce obviously thinks that your abilities are helpful, especially if he’s in need of a lot of weapons at the time or ammo. And if you’re willing to, he’ll use it as much as he knows is mortally right to do so as he doesn’t want to take advantage of it too much.

• Of course Bruce still prefers his own weapons, and this is mainly because he’s had a personal hand in making them so if anything goes wrong he has no one to blame but himself. Plus, making the weapons himself gives him a sense of comfort and reassurance while using them.

• Despite Bruce never taking good care of himself and barely sleeping regardless of how busy or tired he is, he is still very understanding and sympathetic to how you’re feeling. So, if you’re ever in need of rest caused by your abilities he’d fully understand.

• Bruce can’t guarantee that you’ll be protected constantly and forever (although that would be ideal) but he would promise to do as much as he could. Whether that be keeping an eye on you or giving you methods of defence and hiding he’ll do it if he thinks it to be effective.

• Bruce isn’t the type of person to make your abilities into a game or fun situation, but he will test them to see how they work. He’ll try a range of weapons of size and ability and would prefer to understand you fully before he turns it I to a fun concept.

Daminette December 2022: 8-Submission

Damian Wayne pouted in the car on the way to his punishment. He had yet to figure out what it was, but it had been worth it. As Robin, he had broken formation, during patrol, and returned to the meet up point with a kitten. Batman had denied his request to bring it home. He even had Oracle locate several animal shelters.

"I will be taking it to a veterinary, first. They can also checked to see if it belongs to someone. If no one has claimed it within a week, I will return with it." Robin demanded.

"No." Batman growled.

Robin frowned, "Al.....Cat A is getting older. He will have a playmate and I will have a companion after he passes."

Nightwing nodded. Red Hood sighed and Red Robin yawned. Batman sighed.

'It was true that Damian had kept Alfred the cat since his arrival to Gotham. It was becoming more apparent that Damian was worried about his cat. He had been taking it to the vet more often. The cat was eating less and had even allowed them to pick him up when he was in the way. Alfred the cat had become more docile.'

"Very well." the Dark Knight answered, "Return to the cave and get prepared. Agent A, Robin will be returning with a small companion, in need."

"Yes, sir." Agent A replied.

The Wayne boys had been upset that Damian had gotten special treatment, in their eyes. They had decided they would punish him for extending patrol hours for them.

"Where are we?" Damian demanded.

"Surprise, Little D!" Dick exclaimed.

Jason smirked, "We picked the worst thing we possibly could."

"It took all week, but we finally came up with the perfect plan." Tim smiled, then yawned.

"What is it?" the Wayne heir growled.

"Can I tell him?" Jason volunteered.

"Sure." Tim answered.

"We all hate those stupid parties and do anythign possible to not be grabbed at." Todd smiled, "So, you are going to be a male model for this event."

Damian was stunned. His father's adopted children had decided to punish him with making him a dress up doll. What was worse, he was going to be touched and grabbed; he couldn't lash out.

'Assholes.'

"This was a last minute thing, too." Grayson declared, "They needed a replacement."

Damian sat silently as the horde of girls, across the room, pointed at him and his siblings. He wished he could be anywhere else, right now. At least there were some other males in the room, but their glares weren't any better then the giggles.

'Why couldn't they have just shipped me in a crate back to Mother?'

"Damian Wayne." a voice called.

Damian and his brothers stood up and followed the voice. A girl looked at them confused, but opened the door wider. The girl closed the door and stared at them.

"Damian, go ahead and stand on the platform." She demanded, "I'll need you to strip to your boxers."

"I will not!" the Wayne heir growled, taking a step forward.

"How else am I suppose to take your measurements to make sure the clothes fit you?" she shouted.

Damian remained where he was.

"You're the designer?" Drake shouted.

She smiled, "Marinette Dupain-Cheng, at your service. I've been designing since I was ten and my clothes have rocked runways since I was thirteen."

Damian quickly looked over the designer's appearnace. She was his age, maybe younger. Her hair was so black it appeared blue and her eyes were the bluest he had seen. That alone was saying a lot since his family was notorious for their blue eyes. Marinette looked tired, almost as much as Drake.

"So it's your fault I'm here?" he questioned.

She glared at him.

'Interesting.'

"I didn't personally ask for you, Your Highness." She declared, "A friend of mine was suppose to be my model, but he broke his leg. I don't know who you are and I don't fucking care! Right now, I have to figure out if I have clothes to alter or possibly remake, altogether. Get down to your boxers so we can both get this over with. The faster you do this, the faster you can get out of my way."

The Wayne boys were shocked. Everyone usually treated them like they were special. This designer didn't know who they were and didn't even care.

Damian quickly listened to her.

'Looks like we both don't want to do this.'

Marinette quickly got to work. She had made a chart on the paper under Adrien's. She made sure to follow the same guidelines to easily figure out if there were changes to be made. She quickly measured his arms and chest. Adrien may have been use to all of this, but she could feel the subtle flinches under her hands.

"I'm only going to explain this once. I'm going to measure your lower half. That includes the inseam; the inseam will be you inner leg. You cannot move. If I make a mistake, the pants can be too tight and ride up. That would be uncomfortable for both of us." she quickly explained.

Marinette got up and began to look over her notes.

"Get dressed." she stated, "You're dismissed."

She flipped the paper up and down to compare Adrien and Damian's measurements.

"Will he be okay?" Dick questioned.

"I have to make new clothes for him." she sighed, "I can't use what I already have."

"Will your show be okay?" Jason asked.

'Shit! We made this a punishment for her, too.'

"Yeah. I'll have my assistant stock up on coffee. " Mari declared, waving off their concerns, "Mostly everyone is coming in for a fitting, today, so there shouldn't be any drastic alterations to the rest of them. If I focus on his, I can finish in two days. Come back by then, so I can make sure about any adjustments."

"Wait!" Tim shouted, "I thought he had to wear like ten outfits."

"Yes and I said it should be done in two days." Marinette replied, "Thank you for stopping by. Next time, leave the attitude outside of my dressing room."

"Question." Damian spoke.

Marinette put on her best customer service smile, from the bakery, she could and asked, "Yes, Sir. How many I help you, today?"

Jason snorted and covered his face. Dick smiled at her sudden change in demeanor. Tim facepalmed. He knew it wouldn't end well, where Damian was concerned.

"Do you partake in the female sex?" he questioned.

Marinette blinked it confusion before laughing.

"No, I don't like girls." she answered.

"Married?" he continued.

"Nope." she smiled.

"Committed relationship?" Damian persisted.

"Nope." Mari spoke.

"A beneficial relationship?" he asked.

"No." Marinette replied, "Why all these questions?"

"All those harpies in the other room wouldn't shut up." Damain answered, "You barely looked at me."

"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't stroke your ego." Mari rolled her eyes.

"Maybe that isn't what he wanted stroked." Todd smirked.

Damian quickly turned and glared at his sibling, briefly catching the designer's blush.

'So she was staring. Perhaps she was only keeping up the appearance of professionalism.'

"Look, I've seen people, like you, who think because they look good, it makes them better than anyone else." Marinette answered, "Usually, they're a bunch of assholes, as you have proven. I prefer a man with taste."

'I look appeasing to her, but my behavior dissuaded her.'

"You prefer the men who open doors and pull out chairs; a perfect gentleman." Damian quipped.

"Fuck that!" Marinette shouted.

The Wayne boys couldn't believe their ears. They were so use to people demanding them to act perfect; even Bruce.

"At the end of the day, they think if they do that kind of stuff for woman, a woman should serve them behind closed doors." Marinette replied.

"You tried?" Damian questioned.

'What the hell did that bastard do to her?'

"First college boyfriend. Seemed nice and I was naïve. Later, I heard him tell his friends how I was 'bad in the sack'. I laughed in his face and said he was too much of a dick to even have made it that far. He got laughed at and said I was a bad girlfriend for not serving him." Marinette answered, "His friends asked what he meant, so I told them about his whole 'woman live for men-household outlook'. They told him his idea was outdated and woman aren't like that, anymore. If he wanted that, he'd never find a wife. Last I heard, his husband set him on the right path."

The Waynes began to laugh and chuckle.

"I prefer my men honest. I don't care if they can't cook, if they can't clean, but if they get on my bad side, they usually end up tied up and in a ditch somewhere." she declared.

Someone knocked on the door, before opening it. The Waynes noticed a blonde boy with his foot in a cast and crutches.

"Adrien Agreste!" Marinette shouted, "What the fuck are you doing here? You're suppose to be on bedrest!"

"The show." he whined.

The Waynes were astounded to see the tiny designer throw the injured party over her shoulder, like a sack of potatoes.

"NO!" he shouted, turning red, "Mari!"

"Bad Kitty!" Marinette scolded, "You are going to lay on that pull out couch you assumed I would use as a bed in my office. Natalie is coming to get you."

"Please, no!" he pleaded, "I'll be good! Don't call her! I'll be stuck at the piano again!"

"Bed." Marinette stated.

"Yes, Ma'am." he answered.

"And I don't want to hear one peep about my sewing or my mothering from you!" she continued to chide.

"Yes, Momma Mari." he answered.

Marinette walked out of the room. Adrien just waved as Marinette carried him away.

"Wow; she doesn't take no for an answer." Tim spoke.

"No wonder that other guy didn't do it for her." Dick laughed.

"Oi!" Jason hollered, "Hurry up and get dressed. I wanna get out of here and get some food."

The Wayne brothers walked out the door and stood guard. As Damian got dressed, he wasn't sure what to make of the designer. He thought she was the designer's assistant with how young she was, like all those meek women his father hired. His parents taught him how to read people and he couldn't do that with her. Marinette was fiery and spoke her mind. She had barely even looked at him, too focused on her task and numbers. She had laughed at him! He could only assume she had picked up her former model, judging by the cast, and informed him he was going to sleep.

He didn't expect to see her again on their way out.

"Hey, Miss Designer, do you know where we can find some really good sweets?" Jason asked, "Like a café or something?"

"Coffee, please!" Tim whined.

She smiled, "My parents own the best bakery in Paris. You can find it on Rue Street. You can't miss it. It's a white and black store front with gold letters."

Damian grabbed Marinette's hand and kissed it, "See you in two days."

"Little D!" Dick whispered in shock.

"My apologies." he smirked, "I figured it was better than a kiss on the cheek you are accustomed to since you do not know me."

Her cheeks bloomed pink and she quickly pulled her hand out of his grip. She turned around and ordered someone to get a pot of coffee started. Damian smirked.

'Seems she may just be as eager to see me again. A game of war, perhaps? Who would submit first?'

"Demon Spawn?" Jason questioned.

"I'm already fluent in French, but did none of you study the customs or culture?" He asked, "It's common here to be kissed. As I stated, I didn't want to make her uncomfortable. We get enough of that at those galas Father forces us to go to and I'm not going to be the reason Father gets called."

As they walked to the car, he could hear his brothers groaning on how it was common to kiss someone, mostly on the cheek. They had all checked their phones. It was fine to let them think that for awhile.
