imagine being a pre teen and discovering:

I'm obsessed with this Utena AMV mashing the show up with the (off-broadway and better) Chant II from Hadestown. I've watched it like 40 times at this point probably.

My brain just endlessly thinking about the parallels between Orpheus and Eurydice and Anthy and Utena and Ohtori as the Underworld how the show itself directly shows these parallels are intentional by literally having a statue of Orpheus and then the abduction of Proserpina/Persephone in episode 31:
